While what I got from here didnt end up working out the staff was VERY helpful.
Not really much to write home about. They have things for sale, reasonable selection, competitive prices. Place is basically a ghost town when it comes to employees, you can never find any help anywhere. Lack of employees means that stock is in massive disarray. I guess management is okay with that, because its been this way for a very long time.
The Odessa Home Depot has seen better days… hopefully, it is just a rebound issue from the the era of Covid-19, but the service has certainly dropped off a great deal.I look forward to them bouncing back sooner rather than later!
Would have given 5 stars, if not for it being my 3rd trip there. Looking for 3 sewagepipe. They have thick wall. That does not have one end already swelled for making connection to the next piece. You have to spend even more. To buy the connectors. And on top of that. I flat dont need heavy pipe for my project. So now I am going to give McCoys a shot. Besides, theyre way closer anyway.Only .9 miles. The depo is all the way across town.I went back because I like them, most of the time.
Was with family though. But it was quick and the staff was very friendly.
Great experience at Home Depot today. Not only employees available to help find items, customers were also having fun helping each other and sharing experiences with the things others were shopping for. It was actually a fun outing all around!
Home Depot does a good job. Ladies at the check our are friendly. Hard to find help in the aisle at times. Overall well stocked.
It was a great visit excellent service Demi was outstanding and took care of everything I need always greetings with a smile on her face
Odessa Home Depot needs people with good Customer Service cause right now it sucks. I went in there on Sunday (6-27) and stood in the appliance department for 35 minutes waiting for help, while there were four employees sitting at a desk talking. I finally left and went to Midland where they went outside and got me a flat cart and helped load my freezer on it for me. While standing in line to pay for it they asked me if I needed help loading it into my truck.Sergio was the employee in Kitchen and AppliancesRichard was the name of the guy who conversated with us and apologized for the inconvenience at the Odessa store and he even told us about the survey..
Fast & easy. You have a question, theyre kinda hard to find but when you do find someone theyll help you as much as they can most the time.
Not bad only its all good especially in times of healing, it will get better to find what you need to make a dime.just give it time.Amem.
Good product line. Good prices. They need more staff making it difficult to get help which is why I rate at 4 instead of 5 stars.
Went there to buy bags of cement. Thank goodness a young man helped me cart it through the store. Thank goodness an employee helped him load it into the pickup!
This is my favorite store. Period. All the toys and extras I want and need and a great price and the odessa staff is awesome
Like the others but still OK. Updated self check out is nicer.
Adequate ad far as Home Depots go.
Horrible return/repair policy. 3-4 weeks to see if my trimmer needs to be repaired or replaced, yeah right. 8 weeks and they still havent even looked at it, and dont think you can get a refund just because theyre slightly delayed with repairs.
Terrible customer service. Definitely will be going out of my way to go to Lowe’s from now on.
Terrible Service! I ordered cabinets a month ago and paid for delivery and I was told so many different things. The employees and manager don’t even know what they are doing, the system says one thing they say something different, I would not recommend this store.
Its a home Depot what can you say.Tons of items fair prices for the market. Little hard to find help but thats common place in todays market.Didnt have what I needed in store, finally was able to be told its on line only and can take a couple of weeks to get it to store. Ok visit overall
Drove over a hour to get to store to purchase an item that I was told was there and website said they had 4 in stock. When I got to the store in Odessa tx was told there count was off and did not have anymore. The manager was rude and not helpful at all. Would recommend not using this store if you have to drive a ways to get there
Good selection, but good luck if you need help. ♡☆♡☆♡☆♡#GODisGreat
One of the girls in customer service needs help in people management. She was antagonizing a customer. Was very happy she wasnt dealing with me.
As always found everything to build a water sprinkling system for our above ground garden! Helpful clerk and quick checkout..in an out in less than 30 minutes
Great customer service and I was able to get what I needed quickly and back on the road!
Big selection of hardware. Lots of items out of stock and price hikes apparent.
Always clean and friendly. Great prices but have yet to meet the HGTV guys. Could really need there help.
Ive been telling myself for about a year now that I was going to boycott home Depot well today its final. Home Depot are so unorganized nothings where they put it theyre slow customer service and then they want to make you order stuff that they have in stock so they can charge you more for the special order and then I caught them doing it and they blame it on the computer and change it needless to say no more home Depot yall be careful going to him take care
Great place for hardware, wood, and tools. Employees are very helpful
Place getting lil better...workers helpful...easy self checkout. Online ordering goofy though. Struckout bad order againPromised next day...now delayed. Last time went to wrong store
So frustrating. Every time I approached a group of orange aproned people standing around they would scatter like cockroaches when the light is turned on in a Tijuana bar. Stood by the paint counter for a good fifteen minutes. Started off with the woman working there yelling to her manager behind us who yelled back a solution to her problem. She then disappeared without ever having addressed us at all. Husband sent me to go find a flat bed cart and to pick out some tile for our countertops. He found me in the tile section with one of the only flatbeds in the store not being used to display items, and we settle on tile. He goes to get new outlets and covers while I load the tile. Tried to pick up the tile but the box was still taped to the box leaning against the others and the front box fell on my shin. Safety hazard, but I survived. We proceeded back to the unfinished cabinets. We find what we need/want, but not in the bottom shelf where we could get it ourselves. Look around and see a group of employees standing around. One was helping another customer and the rest just talking. I walk up to get someones attention and the bulk of them move to the break room while the one with the customer guides them away. The remaining associate looks me in the eye then takes off with the one guiding the other customer. I stand there completely dumb founded. A minute or so she walks back, sees me still standing there and starts to walk away again. After loudly saying EXCUSE ME a couple times she sighed exasperatedly and asks me what I need. I explain that we need a couple of the unfinished cabinets brought down so that we can purchase them. Right in the middle of an announcement on the overhead speaker she radios for assistance and walks away. We wait about ten minutes listening to the party going on in the break room, I go to find another employee to try again. I explained what we needed, she radioed and we stood back to wait. About five minutes later an associate approached us and asked what we needed. We told her and she assured us that someone was on their way with a man-up to assist us. We wait another 10 minutes before my husband sends me to get another cart for our smaller items. I get the cart and decide to swing by the paint department to pick up our paint. Three associates working behind the counter. After a few minutes I just grab the paint, find a couple of stir sticks and head back to cabinets. A cart full of empty boxes was blocking my way back to my husband. Why would it not at least be put against the side of the aisle so people can pass? About the time I return, they are finally blocking the aisles to get our stuff. We headed to the wood section to get what we needed to finish off our shelves. We are looking at an endcap that had just what we needed. Not two aisles away is a home depot employee stacking ladders onto a flat bed cart. We grab what we are able to reach and are looking and pointing at what we need, obviously out of our reach. He keeps looking at us but never says a word. I finally tell my hubby to go get him before he gets away. Again he begrudgingly heads over to assist. My husband again sends me on an errand, afraid that I am going to go Full-Karen on someone soon.I get the screws and meet my husband at checkout. I have only been treated like this at Home Depots (had a similar experience at the Midland store that soured me for years, up until I remarried and my new husband had a Home Depot card so that is usually where we went). I also noticed that the customer service doorbells are no longer in the store. I know my measly little purchases dont make much of a difference to a megastore like this, but I still do not deserve to be treated like this. Nothing is worse than being intentionally ignored by people just standing around. I get people need breaks, but they should be staggered so that there are still people able to assist customers. Since the door was left open I could count some of the people in there. 8 were within my line of sight and a few more I could hear.
Ordered cabinets and counter tops for my kitchen and bathroom back in march. Got 2 of the 6 cabinets delivered two weeks later. Then counter tops in a week after that. Then had to go back to the store and ask them when I should expect the rest of the cabinets. They said the following week. So when they came out, they delivered 3 of the 4 cabinets. Now mind you its now the 9th of April. Go back to the store to be told that our last cabinet wont be delivered till may 6th or later. Dont understand what the confusion is with Home depot. But when someone has ordered in store and paid in full why they cant do their job. Still waiting.....
They have some good working staff and helpful also
They Keep me satisfied with low price and the variety stock
Made a pick up order for one item in stock but out of reach on top of the isle. Was told It could be a 48hr wait meanwhile theres about 4 employees standing around chatting.
Appliance Deparment gives false information when buying and management supposedly is never there I recommend going else where for you appliance purchase
Good products. This store needs cashiers. The only checkout lanes, besides the pro desk, were self checkout lanes and only one of those accepted cash all the other lanes were card only.
Went to ask a salesperson, wearing a Home Depot vest for assistance and she did not speak English. God Bless America.
Im waiting at customer service for 30 minutes, its only one cashier, working, and 3 just having fun, and theres a lot a people in line
The employees could be more helpful.
Very nice service 👌
Know what I want where it is & its a quick in n out 😁
I went to Home Depot today because they advertised online they had compost & humus in store. I showed up & look for it & couldnt find. My husband asked the lady in the garden center, she said they dont carry it in store, it has to be ordered. What kind of gardening place does not have compost & humus? Very disappointed.
They always have what we need. Really great customer service
Very good atention..👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
We like shopping here, but they didnt have what I wanted.
Great shopping experience clean store and nice people great prices!!!!!
I usually get my lumber and stuff from Lowes. My brother told me to check out Home Depot. Turns out that I needed to buy a gate. I compared prices and Home Depot was a little cheaper. About $13 cheaper.
Whenever you do not have cashiers and you have to do all the work for yourself cannot get anyone that will help you then you need to close your doors.
Lazy employees. Waited over 15 minutes to get help just to unlock a drill. Every employee i would ask for help. Said it wasnt their section..... Why were they in that section.Second issue was they want u to cash urself out. They dont even wanna work doing that!
Good customer service.
I guess the AC is not working is hot inside the store
The Home Depot in Odessa. They are different from Midland and they seemed so new n updated and more variety of things I have not seen in Midland Home Depot. It was good to know I can come here to see an other options back up. The people who works there are so kind and friendly and attentive. The Midland Home Depot seems more of absence to assist or available. But they are good too. Just noticed the difference in 2 cities. Just saying. At the end it was well 😊
Crowded aisles, lack of supplies and deplorable americans without masks. Trash experience
In and out love the app tell u exactly where ur item is at
Extremely helpful customer service. Irene did exceptional work helping us with our purchase. Friendly helpful service
It had all I needed and tge persons i spoke with fir help were very knowledgeable!
This store is in so much better shape than its rival down the road. Lowes has turned into a sewer.
Great place for yard stuff
Very rude well the lady said I cant drive lady I can do your job like nothing I drive 18 wheelers... you said I did not have to my truck well how in the hell were you planning on loading the other pallet with all the carts in the way ??? if anything you dont know what you are doing
Our order was ready and easily accessible however employee was more concerned about answering the phone than completing our transaction.
Great place to buy home items and building materials
Liz was polite, fast, and efficient! She brought our online order out quickly and placed it in the back, told us her name, and wished us a good day.
Great place! It is a lot easier to find items here than other places. Not too much store traffic, meaning you can easily go in and out quickly. Friendly staff always there ready to help.
Very disappointing to think no one could help me unload my door. I saw a young man walking around with no sense of urgency. I asked why he could not assist. I was told Because he is pulling on line orders. I thought leadership. Stop real quick help her with the door and then continue with what your doing. The service center cashiers. None of them offered any kind of help. They were just standing there, one of them was eating. There are people in line no one asked any of them if they needed assistance.I asked one of the young ladies how does anyone know that the register is open. I have never seen such inconsideration for their job or any team work. I dont have experience in customer service. But I have common sense. What a shame.
Helpful when you need it and not pushy when you need to get in and get out and you know what you need.
Got there and was in and out fast and didnt have trouble finding what I needed!
Bought some lattice Kingsford charcoal and utility blades prices are slowly going waiting time back to normal.
They really dont like doing their jobs here, the staff is such a joke.
Poor customer service! An employee, Destiny, was on the same isle putting up merchandise as I was looking for a pump for my AC and then another customer came to the same isle and she totally ignored me and asked him if he needed help, I waited a minute and then said I do. I showed her a box with the pump I wanted and told her I just don’t want that one because it’s open and maybe missing something. I told her the app says they have 8. She looked on her machine and glanced around for a minute and said we don’t have anymore the app is wrong. And asked me again why I didn’t want that one again, I told her it was probably missing parts she said no men just wanna open the boxes and look at things and it’s not missing anything she had no idea what I was missing anything or not. I told her I’d go to the Midland store and see if someone there was willing to help the customer!
Th worst customer service in Oddesa Texas. I will go to any other store. Before spend the money at Home Depot
Absolutely has to be the very worst Home Depot in all Texas. I have ordered items online and still had to wait 2 hours before someone brought it out to my truck. This is only 1 of 4 different times I had to wait no less than 1 hour up to 3 hours for someone in the store to get their act together. From now on, Ill just travel 10 extra miles to the Midland location. Its definitely worth the drive!
Mad props for finding a way to stay open and help everyone when that side of town lost power. I dont know what so many people would have done had you guys not found a way
Very helpful customer service always have everything Im looking for my place to go
I have a lowes account and have had trouble with cutomer service ...bad ! They are not trained or knowledgeable ...last night making a return for a customer at HOME DEPOT the girls and the manager made it happen! I am SOLD I will be closing my account at lowes and going where I get courteous and knowledgable help ! I have never written one of these for lowes ! Thousands laterThank you staff last night for helping me before closing!
The employees were a HUGE help finding what I needed!
Parking lot was chaos. Everything I was looking for was out of stock. Takes weeks to order. And when I asked workers for assistance I was told we are out right now if its not on the shelf. Without even looking at me much less looking up what I needed to see if it might me in the back or on its way. Very rude and impersonal. As usual I left without what I needed and irritated. And still gotta go find my supplies somewhere else. Could just be me or the pandemic going on but, I just dont know it could be a Home Depot thing?
Nobody would help me with heavy wire. Plumbing department fittings are a total mess. Very small choice. Lots of employees,, but no help. Big place.
Plumbing not stocked and no customer service
They were so helpful and friendly. Especially Liz what an outstanding employee.
Good place for tool and yard work
If rating by the amount of time my husband spends in here it must be 5 stars..
Not impressed. Dirty and staff isnt very helpful
Love their bird food and plants
Keep up the good work!
Worst customer service. No one here wants to help out customers.
Terrible management, it took me 3 hours to return 3 pallets of concrete and get 3 other pallets loaded. Walking in, no one knew what to do or even who to call to help me with my return. I had to track down managers and explain my situation multiple times, and find my own leader that could run a forklift... I was furious as I had customers waiting on me to get this done.
The checkout lines are always long here. Not because theres a lot of people here but because they only have a couple of self checkout lanes open during peak times on Saturdays and Sundays. Its clear that the management team isnt out on the floor because employees are standing around playing on their phones in the back by the lumber while the checkout lines are packed and most of the carts are out in the parking lot.
Found everything easily...
Where my paycheck goes
Lights were out but we got personal shopper to go with us and help us find what we needed. Thank You!! Didnt catch his name but he was very helpful and polite.
They were so great I am so happy with the service here.
