Love this place. Reminds me of what it used to be like when I was a child and everyone so willing to come help you if you need help.

Well went to make some extra keys and buy some locks. Great Store, very convenient, Great people working there.

I would give one star but the kind ladies that work there are very polite and I feel bad for them because they dont even have air conditioning to work in they have to work under evaporative cooler when its 100° out.The prices at this place are the highest out if all hardware stores in Midland and Odessa.I live right down the road from cash way but drive the extra miles to Walmart or the Ace hardware on 8th before I go to cashway. They had a clearance area where all their stuff is quote on quote marked down but its 10 years old maybe 20 and its still through the roof expensive. I dont know how this place stays open and whoever runs it shouldnt be running it.

Great employees I applaud the owner here. Very knowledgeable staff. My first time in this store. Now its my go to store.Only downside is that the building has no cooling its very warm inside.

Little too pricey for me..but if you live in da neighborhood then I guess it beats driven all the way to Lowes or home depot..

The staff is helpful and friendly! They go out of their way to help you find the product you are looking for, whether it’s trash bags or tools! the machinist that was in the key cutting station the day my family and I went shopping at Cashway West Ace Hardware, Michael I believe was his name, was extremely helpful. I had gone to an Ace Hardware in Monahans and they had used an inverted blank key to cut a copy for my for the wellhead and pressure control shop I opened up. Long story even longer, my shop key only locks, not unlocks the door as well, like I need it to. The key cutter had this hardware explain to me why specifically what was the issue with the key it wasn’t the car or which side of the key machinist in Monahans cut it on, But the fact he used a key where the Belval and the indentation we’re on the opposite than it needed to be. It was very informative, helpful, and let me know that if the new key did not work, To bring in the original dorky and he would cut and copy it for me for free.

Cashway east was way faster and friendlier

I like the fact that they have a lot of obsolete or hard to find parts that you cant find in home depot or lowes and you can just walk right in the door by your stuff and be gone in a minute or 2

Over the last few years Ive spent a lot of time here. The service is top notch and they have everything you need. If they dont, they will tell you the best place to find it.

Told clerk what I needed and she directed me to the correct aisle where I found what I was needing.

There the other day. Cant remember the name of the man that helped me but was super helpful. Didnt have what I wanted but directed me to where I could possibly get what I needed. My hat off to this place

Went in to look for a gasket and the staff were very helpful and friendly. When I went to pay, the gasket was only 12 cents. I had only credit cards, so the girl at the register took the coins out of her pocket and said “thank you have a nice day”. Very nice. It made my day. ☺️

Sometimes you just dont feel like trekking through the big boxes. Smaller store with decent selection of DIY necessities. Friendly staff as well.

This store has a limited selection of items, if you are looking for everyday use common items( do it yourself small project items, lumber, screws, pvc pipe ect)...you may find it here but, if you are looking for a diverse selection of items I would recommend a specialized or bigger store.

Its definitely a mom and pop store, and has an older laid back feel to it that kinda makes you feel at home. Not the cheapest place to get stuff, but easy quick and you get good service.
