The Odessa location has worst customer service. Harbor Freight is a great store. Excellent choice fir discount price shopping in handy items. But if you have to visit the Odessa store, save yourself some chaos and pay a few dollars more.

The store alone is a great place to find what I need for what ever job Im doing. Customer service is usually great up until yesterday me and my boyfriend went to the store to get a tool that was very much needed for the Job I was doing. So we looked around trying not to find the tool and my boyfriend said lets ask I said ok. So he stops a lady in the wrench isle and he I was guessing was waiting for her to get off her phone when I walked up and of course said she didnt know well for starters she shouldnt have been on her phone and if you dont know find out. So I tried to find a man that worked there with no success. So I ask another lady close to the person the Lady in the Ohio was and thank goodness she said I dont know what it is but if you have a picture or can tell me what it looks like Ill see and I had a picture on my phone from your store and she took us right to it I wish I had gotten her name cause not only helpful she was very nice in return thank you for letting me 5ell you what a good employee and store you have. Bought a cheap safe, good selection, fair pricing. Just wish theyd quit asking for and tracking email and phone numbers accounts to spam and sell them the highest bidder. They will still sell if you refuse to give it but one of the first thing they ask for is your phone number, annoying.

Harbor Freight is the best. I love the prices and they get even better if I shop the coupon/ad thing that comes in the mail. I run in all the time to pick up something either for work or the house. Last time I was there, I got 11 inch needle nose pliers and a package of 10 masks and I spent 5 bucks total. Love it!

I love going into this store. They have, as best as I can tell from my family needs and wants of tools, and the pricing fits most budgets with money left over for lunch! Give it a try.

Harbor freight tools basically lost my business. Ever since they took the 20% coupon away now I just go to their competitors basically almost the same price now. Everybody used to go there for the 20% coupon they took it away theyre going to lose a lot of business Ill go to their neighbors like I just came from their neighbors to buy some stuff. if they had the 20% coupon still I would definitely bought the $300 item from them . Harbor freight tools bring your coupon back you will get my business back and youll get a lot of other peoples business back we only go there for the coupon basically

Harbor Freight is a decent place to buy tools for home use not for commercial use. The majority of the tools sold here are built for light duty and should not be depended upon. I most definitely would not trust them with my life, they will inevitably break. That being said, this store is clean and well organized. The staff I found there was very helpful and kind which is more than I can say for half of the people shopping there which were very rude to the staff. I will be visiting this location again.

They have cordless tools and dont include the batteries and they have no batteries in stock or battery chargers overpriced low quality tools

Nothing really bad to say about this store. The staff has always been friendly and I have almost always found what I needed. Only bad thing I could say is sometimes one register is not enough and could cause a delay in checking out.

Walk around and see how long it takes to actually get some bonified assistance and this even applies to management.. Test it out She wont disappoint you. I remember when harbor took pride in helping find what you are looking for, now they just say over there what ever you see is what we got. Lets just say affirmative action is not very affirmative. More like negated action. This country is in for a rude awakening.

The young lady working on the floor was fantastic, she went and try to locate product in the back for me.

I bought one of their pelican-style hard cases for my pistol, it seems like a very good case. Hinges are solid, big metal reinforced locking holes, foam is typical perforated foam that will start to tear apart like any case of this style.As someone who uses pelican cases for their meters and tools quite literally on a daily basis, Id say save the money and buy one of these instead.Now onto the store itself - theyre everywhere so you know what they offer. Cheap tools that are overpriced unless you buy on sale. Theres always a coupon to save 20-25% anyway.Employees generally dont know much about the applications of the took, though they will certainly help you find what youre looking for.

Employees were not very knaowledgeable or friendly. The employee whom I encountered putting out stock, couldnt direct me to the place where my items were located. She said I dont know and that was that. She didnt say Ill find out or let me get someone whos familiar to help you outVery disappointing.

Came to this store yesterday and all I needed to know was were a staple hand gun was I tried to ask an employee as she walked closer to me I said excuse me maam she didnt even let me ask a simple 2 sec question she stated. Im on my lunch break and I only get 30 minutes I cant help you. And she kept walking. It took her longer to tell me no and explain why she couldnt than you say isle location.... I get it she only has 30 minutes but even with individuals that have 15 have been a lot nicer to customers than this lady. 11am to noon. Traffic is going to keep you longer in traffic than my simplest question. How sad...

Favorite place to buy tools, and anyone that says theyre tools are cheap, its the workman not the tool. If you cant get the job done with a wallet saving tool, should you really waste money on a more costly one?

This location is decently stocked and customer service is okay considering that its Permian basin. The only thing thats a little weird is that theyre in a shopping center, so it can make it a little more difficult when purchasing larger items.

One of my most favorite places for tools and hardware,plus side cheap everything, negative the quality and lifespans of the tools is short..Im pretty rough on tools though.

Midland Harbor Freight customer service is excellent. In Odessa, not really. Clean, fast, efficient.

Bought an air compressor. The woman who tried to load it evidently did not know how to operate a forklift. Finally got it into my pickup after running into the tailgate of my $70,000 Denali several times and then laughing about it like it was cute. Tried to call the manager immediately but he was “busy “. Finally got someone on the phone and the answer was “I don’t know what to tell you sir”. Absolutely bizarre behavior from a business so well known. Ghastly.

Its Harbor Freight. Not just cheap tools...cheaply made tools. But like I said...its Harbor Freight. If you break one of their cheap tools, go back and buy another one. Or buy two the first time. Theyre so cheap, you will neither worry or care about it.

Some of their tools are really good and some are really cheap and break easy. HF hand tools have a life time warranty as long as you keep the receipt. The store is worth checking out.

I enjoy coming to the store, and purchasing tools, due to me and my company opening up a new shop, local, but wasnt fond of the service, great tools bad service, several employees at the front looked confused. Could have helped with with my carry out had to do it alone. Products are amazing though for future reference.

For such a busy place they need more checkout lines or something faster to get out of there. I feel I enter hotel California youcan check in anytime you like but you can never leave. You better bring your lunch when checking out. To bad they dont deliver I would rather pay for that than stand there. Time is precious when you only have 1 day off a week. So far those tools made in China are same quality as others I buy around town.

Good stuff. Obviously Chinese in origin but you dont have to spend too much to get good stuff. But keep in mind you get what you paid for.
