I wanted to buy a 10 step platform ladder for my shop. I knew it would be a special order. Upon talking to the person who would be doing the order I was informed the shipping was over 800.00. Which was 200 more than the item price. Very displeased.

I went in curious about a canopy and the young lady named Veronica was so kind to help me with details. I felt bad because in just curious right now but her kindness .are me want to buy today...lol.. thank you Northern tools for great service

While I was able to get what I went for, of course I was not offered the widely advertised labor day spend $100 get a gift card. When mentioned, it was my fault I didnt mention it before I paid. Uh..I hadnt spent $100 then. If I hadnt said anything, there would have been no card offered. Gotcha!

Have always been approached very quickly for assistance in every store I have visited through out all Norther Tool Stores. Quality products and priced compared to other markets. Like the opportunity to use the discount cards on purchases in the stores.

All employees are Always friendly and helpful whenever help is needed.

Called their Midland store for a thermostat.,, was told the Odessa store has 8 in stock… called the Odessa store to see,,, spoke to Isabel and Patty. Was told they had to order part,, when I told them I spoke to Danielle in Midland and she said they had eight in stock.. she told me the part lady wasn’t there until 1pm…took my number and am waiting on a call back. How is it possible that they cannot check their own inventory with a part number I provided??? SMH 🤦‍♂️

Most Items out of stock. Disorganized and products in disarray. Employees hiding from work and playing on phone. Long wait line to check out, cashiers unwilling to offer customer service. Not like most other Northern Tool locations I have visited. The one in Odessa really needs some improvements!

Excellent customer service!! Matt helped me to the upmost. I went in on a Sunday to purchase a utility trailer and he answered every question I asked quickly and to the point. I was never pressured or pushed into buying any product and was given plenty of opinions. After I purchased the trailer and all the accessories I came back the next day because one of the taillights wasn’t working on the trailer. When I went back I was greeted and helped immediately. They got me fixed up quickly and happily. They never once complained or made me feel bad for having to go back. 10 out of 10 for customer service and product availability! I couldn’t be happier with my experience with them!

Its a good place to go if they have exactly what you want. I dont think its a great place to go and browse for new things and new ideas because its pricey

It was difficult to find someone to assist me in finding something and when I did they were a bit curt. Had to order online anyway as they did not have the tire valve extensions that I needed.

Came in store was very pleased with Veronica and Norma helped me out with information and products

Might have spent more money here but was harassed to get what I needed and leave by one of the employees at least the lady that checked me out was nice and helpful

They usually have what I need in stock this time I bought an rv on demand water pump for my rv. And they had it right on the shelf every once in a while I have to special order something but not often. Still better than harbor freight ever will be.

Ive always found this to be my preferred location in the area. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the store is clean, and most importantly they keep their items in stock so I can get what I need, when I need it.

Every so often I check to see if you guys have changed your shipping policy to PO boxes. I dont want delayed shipments for in store pickup anymore than I want to pay to be told where I can not receive my package. Might benefit you to stock it as opposed to online ordering only. So you guys lose to Amazon as a result. And in some cases I pay more for the item but they ship it where I want it.

Special ordered an auxiliary fuel tank and they said 7-10 days for it to come in. I called every day after the ten days was up. Every time I called they couldnt find my order. We are oilfield and were being moved 200 miles away so I called again and they said it still wasnt there. About 15 minutes later they called and said it had been there for a week and that no one had received the order Im pretty confident you have to SIGN for them. I would drive to Lubbock before dealing with them again.

Other than the lack of employees, my visit was not bad. Store is well stocked & clean. The employees they did have were friendly & helpful.

If they knew and understood that cutomers pay their paychecks when they buy and return to buy more tools maybe they would care more about customer service. You would think higher management would take care of this or find a solution. They lose a lot $$ business because of this. Especially in this area. Maybe one day they will figure it out.

Nearly impossible to set up a corporate account with this establishment. Wont take credit card over the phone. Purchased approx. $10,000 in generators and they dont run after 3 weeks. Save yourself some headache and go elsewhere.

Always use this store for my business needs.Now I have a new store in Midland, Texas and wont be using this store that often. However Im here today because Im here in Odessa. Love this store.

Had a small situation. The worker who loaded product into the back of my truck took time to come up with the solution and got it done! It Maybe saved me another trip or having to pay to have delivered. Will go back in future for sure.

Dont know how to work credit card machines but yet the manager wants to loudly tell you that there is insufficient funds in my bank, like he logged into my bank account. I called my bank and their transaction never registered meaning Northern has a connection issue with Visa. Dont judge me when you know nothing about me, I will be going to Harbor Freight, better customer service anyway.

I found an item I needed on the Northern Tool website, and they were on sale, so I went to my local store in Odessa, TX to purchase. I was told that the item was not in store, but could be ordered and shipped to store. That was May 11. I was told they would be in next Friday, the 20th. When I called the store on Saturday the 21st, the item had not yet arrived, and then I was told it would be 7-14 business days. I called again on May 27, and the item still had not arrived. Since I had already paid for the item and I still needed, I did not cancel the order, and told the manager over the phone that after this transaction, I would no longer shop this company. I called today, then 3rd of June, and was told the item had arrived. Im not sure when, because I never got a phone call to inform me of the arrival. I cannot believe it took 4 weeks to receive this item. I dont know where it came from, but that is just way too long. Manager on duty on the 21st acted like she was doing me a favor by getting it here in 14 business days (23 real days).

It was a good choice for getting my tool I needed. I would go back and get more tools

I dont know how this store stays in business being in an oil field town. Ive been by there 3 times in 3 weeks and the same shelves are out of stock. Youre better off buying online. Plus theres hardly any employees there, check out lines are worse than walmart with one checker.

So I went with my brother to purchase a pressure washer/steamer for $8,000. They told him they have to assemble it because it was in a crate(nothing about payment after purchase) came back the next business day to pick it up and he got charged another $200 plus tax for taking it out of the crate and bad customer service all around.

Ive purchase a ton of Items from the Odessa store and Im talking about large ticket Items with the extended warranties. Well I bought a pressure washer less than a month old and it stop working. So i took it to get fixed and they charged me for the repairs. What a sorry way to do business. He said if i pushed the pressure washer off my truck and it broke the repairs or replacement would be covered under warranty. So i should have really broken it before i took it back for repairs.
