Absolute worst company I have ever dealt with! They do not do what they say they’re going to do their customer service is very unprofessional and unfriendly I still have their equipment sitting on my porch since a week ago still not picked up!!! And apparently their management answers the phones… When asked to speak to a manager the customer service person I was speaking with informed me she was a manager… I believe this is absolutely false!!!!
Had a great experience today with customer service rep/assoc, Amanda. After several days of not receiving my supplies, Amanda took it upon herself to research and get to the bottom of things. She was thorough and uncovered a communication mishap. While subpar customer service is the general occurrence these days, Amanda gives me hope that there are competent, intentional service representatives still around. Thanks again!
It took 6 months to get my oxygen concentrator picked up. They only provide service 9:00 to 4:00 and are closed from 12:00 to 1:00 for lunch. They will not pick up from you home if you are not there. They wanted me to take time off work and take the tank to them. They do not return calls after hours and they expect you to take time off work to return their equipment.
If I could give negative stars I would due to over the phone customer service of one person a Ms. Katherine. She comes across very rude, for example today I called to ask if it was possible to get a copy of my Dr. Orders. I was in need of them because I was told that they were out of network for my insurance. I did not understand this because 2 weeks ago the came out and set me up with oxygen equipment. She proceeds to tell Frank faxed that information over on the day I asked them to do so, I said maybe so but the other DME company had not received it. I again if I could get a copy she said yes I said thank you, but she may not have heard as she hung up in my face. I have work in the medical field for 21 years and I have never had to deal with Customer Service this bad ever. I will not recommend anyone to Rotech simply because of the phone customer service. I can hear an eye roll over the phone.
I had a terrible experience with this company. My dad had covid in January and needed the oxygen tank. After the first month he didn’t need it anymore and we had to set up a time for them to pick it up. When I would try to call it would almost always go to a recorded message. When they did pick up the people were so rude. I never spoke to anyone with good customer service. I finally got a time and they canceled because of the snow storm which was totally understandable. After this I called again and set up another time and they never came. I ended up calling and setting up pick up times a total of 4 times before they finally came to pick it up. They didn’t pick up the machine until April 1st. The first time I called was on February 9th. I would always call and it was so hard to get a hold of them. They never respond to voicemails. They then have the audacity to send my dad a letter saying that they have tried to pick up the medical equipment and have not been able to recover it. That they will be seeking legal action if he continues to refuse to give it back. They also sent a $3,189 invoice for the equipment. How are they going to send this letter and threaten him when I have repeatedly called for them to pick it up. It took them close to 2 months to pick it up but they want to put the blame on him. The reason they couldn’t get their equipment was because they don’t know how to run their business not because my dad was refusing to give it back. I would not recommend this company for any of your medical needs.
The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with their patients. The manager Shannon is amazing and always handles business professionally. Thank you ROTECH for putting the patients first.
Was discharged from the hospital with orders of oxygen use for one month due to Covid. Hospital agreed to pay for the month because I have no insurance. I was given a portable tank for the ride home and told to call company so they could deliver concentrator. Company refused to deliver machine because I don’t have credit card or bank account to give them. So even though the bill is being paid by the hospital I cannot get the machine. I am now without oxygen Think twice before using them.I also read another post that said they used them gave them bank information and when their month was over they called company to get equipment and the company waited 7 months to pick it up and charged person over a thousand dollars. SMHAlso the company needs to come by my house and pick up your empty tank and cart.
I came home from the hospital after having covid. The service man came out that night and got me set up and showed me how to use the equipment. He was great! After calling to let them know I was out of the tall canisters and had only 1 of the small canisters left I was told that they would bring 15 tall canisters and 6 small canisters on Thursday along with the nebulizer that I was prescribed. Thursday comes and the same man shows up. Again set up my nebulizer and was again wonderful! He was getting ready to leave when I asked him about the portable tanks. He told me that he didnt have any tanks on my order. He said he would address it the following day and that he would bring them. Here is a almost 2 weeks later and I have not heard back. I have tried to call but always get an answering recording and I leave messages but not 1 has been returned I have dr appointmentsevery Friday and am having to take 2 small tanks with me each time. I am now down to only 2 tanks left. This is no way to do business and if I do not get a call back by Monday I will start looking for a different supplier for my oxygen needs.. !
Very unprofessional. Called for one of my patients that said they where rude to him. Receptionist stated they could come get the oxygen if patient was unhappy. This is an elderly man that is 100% depended on oxygen. Very rude would not recommend this company.
This place is horrible!!! The receptionist Katherine is very rude!!!! My grandmother had an appointment scheduled. Katherine called her the morning of to reschedule. My grandmother got to the rescheduled appointment early by a few minutes. The doors were locked. She waited 10 minutes tried the door again still locked. While waiting an employee came out to their car so they knew we were there. We finally left a good 20 minutes past her appointment time. Not one time did they even care to unlock the door for her appointment. We are going elsewhere. Very Unprofessional for a customer service based business!!!!!!!!!
Rotech in Oklahoma City Location delivered an oxygen machine & oxygen tank June 16,2020 for my wife. They my took my FSA information at that time. I called July 2020 to return the equipment they WOULD not come and get it until a doctor told them ALSO THEY SAID COVID WAS ANOTHER REASON, So it sits at my home until February 2021 while they collect 120.00 a month on my FSA account totaling $1080. My wife had no insurance Rotech Healthcare never called me or check on the equipment or offer any other tanks. They just sit in their office over a year collecting money every month. When I called February 2021 to let them know what they are dong the same commit was YOU SIGNED FOR IT AND WE PICK IT WHEN A DOCTOR CALLS US SO I DONT THINK THEY ARE COMING
You asked, and I gave you a long and honest review, including the things you ought to be doing. This equipment belongs to you, but you dont ever visit to maintain it. Im getting yellow lights. I have pets, and the very open filters are obviously not keeping fur out of the machine. So my guess is, it needs a professional to service it. My oxygen tanks probably need an inspection, too. This stuff has been here for YEARS. I actually thought we owned it because we didnt hear from you for so long. Then suddenly were getting bills again. I will be complaining to our insurance and asking for another oxygen equipment provider. If you can send bills, you can send someone who can take this apart, check why theres a yellow light, and clean it. After years, it seems some maintenance would be due. If I die because Im not getting my oxygen at night like Im supposed to, Im sure it can be proven easily if the machine is not putting out the oxygen I need.
Well, I was released from the hospital in mid january with covid pnemonia on oxygen. Rotech delivered the portable tanks to the hospital to get me home, and later in the day, delivered my concentrator and other supplies. However, as I was leaving the hospital, in the car, I realized I wasnt getting any oxygen, so I checked the tank. It was empty. Who delivers a tank to a hospital for a patient with a empty tank. So, my wife drove like a nascar driver to their office to get a new tank. I got the small tank and headed home. Thankfully, the guy showed up with the concentrator very quickly, and he was totally profeessional, really great guy. However, on any other later dealings with this company it has been totally unprofessional. First refill of portable tanks, had a 21 yr old kid trying to tell me my doctor was wrong, and he knew better about oxygen therapy. Wonder where he got his medical degree. I did get some etanks out of that visit though, and thats a good thing, cause a few days later, there was a car hit a electric pole and without electric for many hours, those tanks kept me from having major issues. However, I did use up most of my supplement tanks. I called for refills, they delivered them with no issue. However, it takes a minimum of 1-2 tanks to go to a doctors appointment. On the rare occasion i take my wife to eat, it takes at least one tank. I am now post covid, with covid pnemonia, blood clots in my legs, and kidney issues. All that means lots of doctors appointments. This week, I was informed by Rotech that it is their policy to only deliver tanks once every 90 days. If I needed more tanks, I would have to come switch them out myself. Thats ridiculous. A oxygen company should have better customer service than that, as my life depends upon that oxygen. They then relented and said that since it was covid related, they would make a delievery every 30 days. Also ridiculous. I would think a medical company would have better customer service than that. They dropped more tanks at my house on that deliver making a total of 15 etanks. On normal, with doctors appointments, THose 15 tanks will last two weeks. Guess I will have to make arrangements for a friend to get me some refills as this company could care less. Wish I had been told all this prior to using them for my home oxygen needs.
Worst customer service of all time!
Horrible! Phone Receptionist (Katherine) - Terrible! Communication -- worst customer experience that Ive ever had!Follow up: Thanks Shannon for getting things cleared up and fixed! Much Appreciated!!!
After my wife being sick for several months and needing oxygen permanently, her lung Dr gave the order to Rotech for portable tanks and a concentrator . After tanks were emptied and needed to be refilled a call was made and they stated they needed doctors order. That order was sent last week and they stated they would be out next Monday which was yesterday and never showed. I called and they stated they can com tomorrow. Not acceptable. Attempting to have her doctor change to Lincare a more reliable respected Oxygen company. Rotech has horrible customer service
Great experience every time they come to my home. The respiratory therapists are both friendly and professional. Their responses to my needs have been met, and theyve been met swiftly.
We showed up today at closing time but the door opened and Daniel helped me with my moms portable oxygen and he spent 45 min explaining so much to me. If this keeps up we will stay with them for sure! Would be great if you called your clients to check on equipment. My mom does not know phone number and i cannot always help with getting it to her during work hours. She has never been contacted on 4 years.
After having dealt with quite a few other healthcare supply providers I can say that this particular provider has gone out of their way to make sure I have everything I need to care for my mother-in-law. Amanda has been especially helpful and is very patient in answering all of my questions. She works very diligently to make sure I can procure all of the supplies I need. Big huge thank you Amanda.
They suck at everything.
Delivered the home concentrator, dumped it all on the porch and drove off, then called me to say he was texting me a video on how to set it up. Wound up calling 911 and the EMTs came out and set it up. When need supplies they mail them or send them UPS, which takes days.
Called to ask a a question. The girl asked me is our name on the tank? I said I can’t find a name on the tank. I know we had it for a fewyears. She then hung up on me. Guess I’ll callsomeone else. I wouldn’t Roscommon themto anyone.
Wonderful people, great service, good products
As a healthcare provider and trying to get a patient home o2, this company was a nightmare. Slow, and never got a return phone call, 22 hours later.
I love getting calls from out of state to get cpap supplies and 2 weeks later get the wrong supplies
Take your insurance information but never follow up to see if you need equipment replaced, exchanged or refilled. They’re just in it for the money. Customer service is nonexistent. Choose another company.
Have no respect for our elderly grandmother wish insurance gave us more options you should be ashamed of yourself
Thank you for all you do
