Great knife sharpening service. Get them sharpened at the desk in back where you can get keys made. I guess they have an automated machine up front, but I havent tried it. The guy in back says the machine costs more. The guys if back have been doing a great job and its only a few bucks.

I had to go to Ace because I needed First Alert smoke alarms for my home. So why Im there I will get all of the household hardware needs, instead of going to Lowes or Home Depot.Dressed like a normal warm Saturday afternoon(shorts, t- shirt) for my shopping day at Ace. Well I needed to use the restroom and a very nice associate showed me to the restroom in the backroom. Well when I came out the other associates thought I was shoplifting and I was followed around the store until I got to my car. Then at the register the kid goes How long have you been here!!I will not be going back..

I came in to get a new key fob since mine had broken and the man I talked to was very rude to me. It was obvious that he didn’t want to help me and he talked to me like I didn’t know anything. He was visibly annoyed by me being there and when he referred me to another place he yelled the name of the place at me when I asked him to say it again. Terrible experience.

Its a smallish store but I think they have a little of everything. There is always someone helpful nearby. They have large carts to haul around your large purchases. Decent prices, close_up parking. Sign up for Ace Rewards!

I have been very pleased with the individual attention and creative problem solving by the staff. The clerks are very sweet, too. But one gentleman wears a clear plastic face covering instead of a mask. It is not a proper mask, does not protect him or other people and I refuse to be near him.

Was sent to this Ace Hardware yesterday by Simmons Gun Repair and was looking for some fairly obscure screws for the forestock of my over & under. I had the good fortune to meet Stacey in Hardware who took a look at the forestock and discovered the gun required entirely different parts. His careful insight and experience translated into pure wisdom. While he did not have the required screws, he set me on the right track. He, and others like him are the reason I go to Ace. At the big box stores the prices might be a bit better, but if you need a bit of insightful counsel on how to accomplish your task with appreciably better techniques, Stacey is the man to see at Ace!!

We love the variety of tools...plus so much stuff for the home, lawn, patio, and garden. Weve purchased lawn furniture here...lawn and garden necessities...as well as bulbs and flowers. We always enjoy visiting Westlake Ace Hardware!

I usually do not shop at this ACE Hardware, but today I was in the Olathe area and stopped in to see what they had. It was well worth the stop I found a beautiful large lighted wreath for $19.00. It was the last one on the shelf. The store is well lighted and the staff is friendly.

Same exact product in three locations had different prices ranging from $ .70, $ .75 & $ 1.39. Buyers be warned.

We stopped by for a few things and found out their cut Christmas trees were on sale for only $5. Wow did we get a great deal on decorations for our church.

I thought it’d be quicker and easier to stop here instead of going to one of the big box stores but I waited at the paint counter for 20 minutes and no one came to help me despite multiple calls from the cashiers. I went down the street to Lowe’s and got great service.

Good place for hardware needs and they always greet you at the door unless they are swamped which is not the case on all of my visits. Small (but you dont have to be that big when your product is three/sixteenths of an inch big), old hardware store. I went looking for plumbing pieces; I think I was close to suffering seizures after perusing the sensory-overloading six-feet by two-feet section of one million tiny objects that didnt actually have the object for which I was needing; the bin was empty. It took awhile to find someone to help me (or I should say, find me, after I circled a few aisles powering up brain cells, looking at the same object in every size imaginable.) Three/quarters of an inch or thirteen/sixteenths of an inch? Im going to start weighing everything in grams now. Why dont we use the metric system? Did our forefathers, previously using the metric system, decide they thought an old *Imperial* system (oh the irony) would actually be better (I mean, come on, it sounds straight from the Dark Side, specifically Darth Vader - what do you suppose his laugh wouldve sounded like if he had ever laughed? He was such a serious drag with his neverending....seriousness.) Turns out the bins were empty because there was a *second location* (why though?) with bins overflowing. I also wish I spoke Spanish. To sum it all up, this store will have you questioning the standards of America while inspiring you to learn a second language.

Mike S. is great! Mike spent 30 minutes trying to help me with a plumbing solution. My experience with this store is that most of their employees go out of their way to help. I live closer to another local hardware store on the West side, but they mainly refer me to specialty stores if my issues is on the difficult side. Not at this store. I gladly make the extra drive to come to this store.

Every single employee I encountered, from the General Manager to cashier offered to help me in any way needed. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. They have my business.

I visited the store looking to purchase some odd sized screws. When I was unable to find what I was looking for, I received help from an employee. The gentleman went out of his way to help me find what I was looking for (I feel that I should mention that these screws were not available at Home Depot, despite their vast inventory). He had to look in several different places but was ultimately able to find exactly what I needed, including a single allen wrench (I thought I would have to buy a whole set but he helped me locate a single one, which was much appreciated).Individual customer service is often hard to find at the big box stores, but at this store I felt like I received special attention. Considering that the price of my purchase was only a few dollars, I was especially pleased to receive such good service. Thank you!!!

Someone need to teach that cashier woman how to do her job. Been there twice in the last month and same cashier both times. She is lost when trying to charge my anchor savings/ Westlake charge. Would think someone would teach her by now.

This is a great hardware store.When you cant find that one thing to finish a project or that one or two nuts and bolts, this is the place.Only thing that stopped me from a five is a little hard to find some items without asking for help.Definitely, a place to shop👍

This place is closed at 6pm on Tuesday June 9th? I’m not sure if they are trying to go out of business but this is a good start.

I didnt stop by for long but if you need any small pieces of hardware, miscellaneous, screws, washers, and sockets of any type please go to Ace because I bet they have it. They saved my week with the washers and screws I found for a project Im leading.

Got tape measures here and was pleasantly surprised when they were quite a bit cheaper than the big box store!

They usually have what I need at a competitive price. I dont have to wander aimlessly, getting more and more frustrated, while trying to find my desired item. Why?? They actually have enough staff to help customers. Plus, the staff is willing to do so!

Staff greets me everytime at the door and is always willing to lend me a hand. Staff is also knowledgeable about the items they sell and give me tips and tricks. 10/10 would recomend
