Trustworthy company, unlike I-storage. Ive never had a problem with this company in the past 15 years they have been great. They actually take care of their facilities unlike I-storage. Stay away from I-storage and store your stuff here....unless you actually do want your things rained on due to leaky roofs (like @ I storage).

It is easy to get in and out. Access whenever you want. Different size storage units from the large garage to the small closet. The helped with moving my stuff due to a ceiling leak.

My experience at PUBLIC STORAGE on Rt 9 in Old Bridge NJ. We put some of my mother’s things into storage approx 45 days ago. She had advanced cancer. On 9/10, I received a call that payment was late. I explained that mom passed last week and we were picking up the pieces. I asked for a 2-day extension. They sounded understanding, expressed condolences, granted the extension. Later that day, my sister went and made payment. She was shocked to see a $41 late fee. She once again explained the situation and mentioned that I was granted an extension. The person at the location said they could not do anything. Didn’t care and showed it. I went to the location the next day and spoke with a manager - and believe it or not - he cares WHEN I WAS THERE. He said he’d reach out to the district manager. The manager called me today, 9/13 and, after hearing the story, gave me the company line once again. No refunds of late fees. I told her that I was granted an extension and she didn’t even entertain it. I told her that I could care less about $41, this was really about the principle. This is unacceptable and I encourage anyone reading this to consider using a different storage facility. This is a really bad look PUBLIC STORAGE and I will be making sure that an executive complaint is made. Do not do business with these people!

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of both Melanie and Melinda handling my rental of an additional storage unit. I could not get the unit I wanted, it was already rented yet having to compromise both customer service from both agents came into to play while Melinda checked one unit as did Melanie and by the time I got there I was able to find the perfect space which was close to my current unit. I have been a very long time customer of this facility and Ive found these two women to be very pleasant and professional to work with even though I came in rushed and frazzled. Weve been with Public Storage for about 7 years now and this place is great! My parents have a business and we needed a place that is safe to store our products. I was recommended to come here and its been wonderful. Melinda, the manager on site, keeps the place very clean and is very friendly, as is the other staff members Ive met throughout the years. Came into public storage without knowing what to expect, and I was in a jam and needed a place to store my goods ASAP. I dealt with the property manager, Heather, who was helpful, knowledgeable, and an absolute delight. She not only helped me get the space I needed the same day (without a reservation! what!!??) but she advised me how to utilize the space I got to so I got the most bang for my buck! Thanks to Heather at the old bridge public storage my stuff was indoors climate controlled and safe and sound for the few months I was between houses.Id recommend this location and my buddy Heather to anyone looking for storage!

We came here today to rent a space and were greeted by Melinda. She was friendly and answered all of our questions. The unit did have a bit of water in it but it was the last one they had and we really needed it so she explained how to pack our stuff so its safe. She helped us out a lot, would recommend this place.

Large affordable local storage, and very clean. The problem here is with the owner/ manager; he is either not business savvy or not interested in having return customers. He has only has ONE employee during the week; even when you make an appointment theres a good chance the counter person will not be there to keep it. If she has to go to the bank, the bathroom, or take her lunch break, the location itself will NOT BE OPEN. All the website requires that you arrive 30 minutes before closing so I wondered why was that location trying to make appointments at all? There should be an employee (or the owner/ manager) there from the time they open to the time they close; especially since they have to physically leave the front desk to show each storage unit. I work full time and crazy busy in the middle of moving, so we cannot make an exact appointment and even with a 2- hour window given yesterday, they still missed my reservation. I would love to pick another storage place but unfortunately I already have one larger unit in this storage location so items to move between the 2. Oh well.

I recently visited this storage facility to look for a large enough storage unit to fit most of my household belongings, as I am moving in the very near future. The store manager, Heather, was an absolute pleasure in helping me find my unit. This was my first time using a storage and I had absolutely no idea what to look for in a unit. Heather helped me every step of the way in finding what I needed. She was so knowledgable about everything in her store from the actual unit, to the security system, to the merchandise that would be suit me in making my move easier that there was no reason for me not to rent then and there (which I did). Her co-worker, Jazz, was also super helpful and always had a smile her face. Both women made my experience looking for storage a lot easier than I could imagine. Because of my great experience, I will definitely be telling my friends and family to come to this storage facility to meet Heather and Jazz because I know how well they will be taken care of!
