Covid hygiene alert. They do not have any staff masking. There is a sign at the door noting that you dont have to mask if you have been vaccinated or have read the constitution that also notes that you will not hold them responsible if you do get covid while shopping there. Hmm... I get that i have a right to bear arms but I didnt think I could go into a place of business and shoot em up.

Definition of a true hardware store, they pretty much have and offer every service. Free popcorn while shopping!

Friendly helpful staff did not realize how big this store was I want to go back just to explore I love the old wood floors and how they have it set up was able to find metal brackets for a wooden cross that my sister had painted and decorated back in November before she passed away so I can hang it on my wall and look at what a beautiful job she did

This place is awesome. They have soooooo many things that you could never ever find at a box store and superior customer service to accompany it. If you need a screw, but or bolt of any size they will have it. Canning supplies, they got em. Cast iron skillets, check. Outdoor clothing, yep and everything the box store has. If Nate is there, he knows where every single item in the place is. If you cant find it, he will.

Nothing better than a hometown hardware store. Its family owned (3rd Generation), consumer oriented, & help is always available

Absolutely love going into any one of the worth smiths stores. You have happy and friendly employees that arent afraid to help you or give you advise on whatever youre project(s) are. But the biggest thing that I love is that Im supporting a family owned local business and that the money stays here in my community!!

This was my favorite hardware store until today. Only one of the staff were wearing protective masks along with only half the customers -- this despite NY State law and common sense during the height of a deadly pandemic.

I spent 1 1/2 hours there when I was just looking for some small hooks. It has a electronic player piano ! Their supply is something to see. You can have a bag of popcorn as you walk in.

This place has a little bit of everything. If you cant find it, ask and someone there will. I have never been disappointed when looking for the oddest of things to complete a project. There is also an excellent selection of nuts and bolts to repair just about anything. And as a bonus, free popcorn!

This is the place to go In Olean for just about anything hardware related. An amazing assortment of new and used hardware. If they dont have it, its doubtful anyone else will.

Went to Ace to help fix a bike seat. The people at the store were extremely helpful, the told us where to find the part we needed and offered other alternatives that might be useful to give us more options to readjust the seat at a later point. When they didnt have one of the parts we thought could be useful, they told us where we could find it locally. We ended up using the part they suggested. Very happy with the service and the time they took to understand the problem and offer all solutions

The only place sells my hubbys favorite suspenders !!! Ive looked everywhere no one does!!! And they last ..my hubby is a big guy..

99% they have what I need. If not at 1 store then at another. If I can wait a few days, they will bring the item to my local store

This store has most everything you might need for most any project. They have so much random stuff that while you are looking for what you came in the store for you will find something else that you wanted for other projects that you were thinking about. Its hard to get out of the store with just the things on your list. Their variety is massive and their prices are generally low makes it a good place to shop.

Very nice old school style hardware store. They seem to have a little bit of everything, and while the prices are a tiny bit higher than a big box store you get to support a local business instead of a faceless corporation; for me thatsworth an extra dollar on a box of screws.All the staff are friendly and helpful, and the cat was very knowledgeable on the subject of head scratches, and leg rubbing. Stop in and check them out.

I love this place . Nate and his crew are awesome . It reminds me of when I was a little girl going in the hardware store with my Dad . Friendly helpful people. They know their stuff. Ive been in there several times and had staff ask me if I need help ? Nate did it yesterday when I was there. As always got a free bag of popcorn on the way out.

If it exists, its here. Dont bother with the big box stores. Just ginger first and support the local guy.

If you need it, chances are theyve got it lol heck they have so much stuff that even they do not know sometimes if they have what youre looking for so by all means take a walk down each aisle and just browse you could end up spending much more than you intended but in a good way...
