It took weeks before they looked at the car. They gave me an estimate which was outrageous and I know this because I got another estimate from a different shop which is a more well known. So I had the car towed back to my house and when it got here it was in pieces!!! They didn’t even bother to put it back together.

They tried to upsell my issues like all shops do. And then tried to tell me I needed a few different things, but couldn’t tell me specifically what it was. I needed a new position sensor but no one knew which bank. Sounded like they didn’t want to let me do my own work. 100 dollar inspection you would think you could tell me exactly what was wrong. Well, got the engine cover off and it turns out they wanted to quote me $400 for something that wouldn’t have fixed my problem because they didn’t thoroughly inspect my car. Turns out it was just an unattached hose, but they tried to quote me over $1000 in needed work. Just, do your own research and if they’re tryna tell you about a “leak” that you’ve never found, or your “bad brakes, completely onto the metal, and maybe some new rotors too”. They’re lying and you need to go take it somewhere else. No leak, and rotors were just fine. They will try to take your money.

The service I get at Precision Tune is GREAT! I go in, ask for whatever service I am in need of, and they are usually able to get me in, in a short period of time! The staff is always friendly and professional.

Im editing my original 5-star review because the service quality has gone completely downhill. Unsure if new management has caused this to happen or what. Their prices are still extremely cheap, but now the work reflects it. I took my car in to get an oil change, tire rotation, and my service light checked out. It took several hours before they called me only for me to find out when I showed up that only the oil change was completed. The tech said he wasnt told about anything else. Then, when I went to pay with my coupon for having done 5 oil changes (for being a loyal customer) they told me it only covered the price of a non-synthetic oil change even though every oil change Ive had was synthetic and they only do synthetic now. Aggravating, but okay. So, Im upset about the previously mentioned issues, but I can live with it. Then, I later noticed that their is oil all down the side of my driver side door. I didnt notice it right away because my car is black. Also, oil on my inside door panel, on my steering wheel, on my dash, center console, literally everywhere. I will NEVER return to this shop and I dont advise anyone to go here either unless they want shoddy work and their car to be covered in oil. I also gave them the opportunity to reach out to me when I answered their follow-up internal review system, but I have yet to hear anything after weeks. This is not how you run a business.

They are the best in town I love this place of business they keep it neat and very clean and the service is quick and fast. I think everyone should come here and get their car need here. They always have great deals going on. I have never had a bad experience with them at all

Beware! Wanted three times (3X) price that reputable shops charge to mount and balance tires. Would have gotten ripped off had I not known better. Next stop was a legitimate auto shop - that charged 66% less.

I’ve been coming to Precision for a couple of years, now. They caught my attention with a special on oil changes, and I’ve been here ever since! They are always pretty quick. Anytime it has taken a while, it’s because there is a full waiting room and they are very honest about how long your wait will be. So I understand and appreciate their consideration of my time. I have been able to do homework in the lobby, while using the complimentary WiFi. Always good service!

I would advise everyone to bypass this auto shop. They take on repairs that their not qualified to repair and do more damage then repairs. They destroyed my vehicle and I had to take them to court to receive a portion of the money I spent to get my car back in decent condition. I won in court but still lost money because I wasn’t awarded what was spend and the damages to my vehicle. Very unqualified and untrustworthy people. Be aware and go the the dealership or Glover tire for the repairs that this same shop offers. 8/25/20

Friendly staff. I get my oil changed here regularly. They check out your vehicle thoroughly and let you know if anything other than what you came in for needs attention. The receptionist and mechanic were very nice and informed me of what was going on with my vehicle in a timely manner. Nice guys did good work. They were helpful and thoughtful. Someone needs to tell the owner that the lobby needs a serious face list. It wasnt that some of the stuff was kind of old and torn but that it was kind of dirty

Came into Precision for headlight restoration around 12:30ish. Price isnt bad at all. Waited for a little and was noticing people coming in way before me already being attended to. The owner would come into a lobby sometimes... dude was actually really nice. Hours passed and my car still wasnt done. I know headlight restoration does not take that long. At 4pm (closing time on a Saturday) the owner finally came up to me and asked which car was mine and what needed to be done. They hadnt even touched my car at that point.Got car back at 5:30pm, so in the end I waited almost 5 hours and didnt get to eat lunch (they never gave me a time estimate so I waited in the lobby the whole time). Theyre quick with oil changes and whatnot, but DO NOT come here for headlight work. They will push it to the side for other services.

Great place, it’s so hard to find a mechanic that’s not going to charge you an arm and a leg. Super great staff, from check in to repair to check out everyone was helpful and efficient.The mechanic knew exactly what the problem was, and explained it to me so I could understand it. This is the worst visit to an Auto Body shop that I have ever experienced. I came in for basic service, oil change, air filter check, etc. After waiting more than 2.5 hours, when I was told it would only take 1-1.5 hours, the mechanic backed my car into a parked car, damaging both. My car has a back up camera so this was completely avoidable. Im not sure what he was looking at, but it wasnt the screen.I asked if the company had insurance and was told, I have no idea. I was then told the company wanted to pay out of pocket which is fine, but my only option was buffing which will not fix internal damage and which could make the clear coat more susceptible to cracking. I asked if they could replace the bumper instead and they refused, meanwhile I still have no idea if this company even ensures their mechanics.The woman who was assisting us had absolutely no empathy at all and did nothing to de-escalate the situation. I am not sure if she was the acting manager on duty, but I am assuming she is because you should not let someone who is not management deal with that sort of situation, but I feel that she exacerbated the situation considerably. When a customer asks a completely reasonable question like do you ensure your employees, you should answer them.This is not a mom and pop shop. This is a chain auto body shop. I dont understand how their mechanics are not aware that a bumper can be damaged internally and you may not be able to see that judging by the outside appearance when you can learn that by a simple Google search.If I am involved in a rear collision in the future, the car may not function as intended and insurance can refuse to pay based on the prior damage compromising the bumper. This company wanted me to just agree to let them fix the superficial issues and doesnt seem to care that this could compromise my safety.

Pretty great service! Got the premium oil change which came with a lot of services and they called me before they replaced anything (which is a mega plus in my book since most places just do it without asking). Pricing is excellent and great, friendly people.

I have watched one of the main mechanics always operate in the best interest of the customer and making sure that they are only purchasing what they need. Don’t go here they employees tell you things that aren’t wrong with your car just to get money. And they fired all the good veterans employees there who brought their company majority of their customers.

I took our 2010 Ford Flex in on Monday because it was making loud creaking noises like the body of the car was not attached to the frame well and also our air wasn’t working on one side of the car. Now the car steers well, no creaking, the a/c is super cold on BOTH sides, and it rides exceptionally well. The front counter employee was friendly and helpful too. Also, the waiting area was clean and had seats that are very comfortable. Oh, and the price was reasonable. I will be bringing my car here when I need any car maintenance done!

Nothing but good things to say about these people and their work. They fixed our A/C during our recent vacation and the cost was a fraction of what I expected. This shop apparently does not know what they are talking about. My son took his car in for a A/C check and freon. His A/C wasnt working and they told me by phone that it would be $50.00. The only reason I used them was because they were opened on Saturday. It turns out, they said the problem was a bad orifice tube, which was fine. They told my son it would be $300.00 to replace and would take 45 mins. I looked the part up online through several local stores and never found one under $12.00. I called Precision to question the price and asked what it would be if I bought the part. The woman told me that it would be $220.00. So, it seems this shop was prepared to charge my son this price for 45 minutes worth of labor and $80.00 for a $12.00 part! When I told the young lady this, she changed the price 3 times. I finally hung and Monday called the shop we usually use and the car was fixed in less than an hour for $110.00 with the part. I will never recommend anyone to Precision Auto in Opelika.

This is my second time using this company and the first time I sat 2.5 hours to get an oil change and tire rotation 🤨Yes 2.5 hours and then most of the co workers are just walking around doing NOTHING AT ALL!!!! I hate to give companies bad reviews but they deserve a bad review because a customer walked in and I was sitting for over an hour and they pulled his car into the bay in 5 minutes and his car was done before mine just because he knew the people working there. Poor Customer Service PERIOD

I went to precision auto for a routine oil change. I needed some extra work done. They alerted me to the fact I needed an tire rotation and coolant flush. It took about a hour but I havent had any more problems out of my vehicle. The prices were reasonable. I liked my service.

I took my truck there just for a oil change at 12:45 and left it and here it is 4:00 p.m and it still isnt ready and I asked them before I left it will it be ready and the guy told me O YEA sure yes mam smdh just dont make sense. Now I wouldve understood if he said were kind of busy and I cant guarantee you that it will be finish and I wouldnt have left it there.

Not so good. When I arrived for an oil change, I was told waiting time was only thirty minutes. After thirty minutes and my vehicle had yet to be pulled into the garage, I went and had lunch next door at the Mandarin restaurant. I came back and my car was still parked where I had left it. Then, my wife called me. When she learned where I was, she told me about three different visits by members of our family. Three years ago, my daughter got an oil change. When she got home, her husband spotted oil dripping. They had not tightened the plug properly. Her son later went there to buy retread tires, which lasted one week. Another family member took his vehicle there for a problem; he was told they could fix the problem for twelve hundred dollars so he decided to go somewhere else for a second opinion. The other auto place fixed the problem with a fifty dollar part. After hearing all this, I told the owner that I had changed my mind on getting an oil change. I went to Express Oil one minute down the street and got my oil change done in fifteen minutes. Around seven that night, I get a call from my credit card company saying my card had just been used and it looked like it was fraudulently used. I confirmed that it was a fraudulent transaction. That was the same card I had given the people at Precision to start me an account there!!! Probably just a coincidence, but still scary.

This is the only place I have my oil changed, I love the service.

Excellent, honest mechanics. Best prices in town and the owner Paul is a master mechanic one of only two shops in the whole county who knows how to repair exotic cars. Had 4 shops attempt to repair my cobra and they made jt worse didnt even make it home after the last big shop tried to work on my drivers side head. Somehow managed to destroy my timing system???? Paul has no problem repairing it the correct way.

I came in for an oil change and front brakes. I was told about an hour and that they would call me when it is done. Well, no call. I go back to the shoptwo hours later and was told that the wrong brakes were sent over and they were not sure how long it would be and that the correct brakes are on the way over. They said just the brakes would be $192.00. It is now 11:15 and I am now told that it will be another half hour! The car was here at 8:30 am. STILL sitting here. Expecting to pay WAY too much for a brake job! 👹

These people did not fix my car. But they said they did. I took it to another shop and the parts number and brand did not match what they proclaimed was replace.
