Very friendly customer service. Really good with communicating issues and recommendations for your vehicle. They usually always have a discount for whatever work you are getting done.

I had my sons car towed in to the shop because it stopped working. They spoke with him and began trying to diagnose the issue but only had half the information. Even after multiple back and forth phone calls they were always very helpful and courteous. Never rude or condescending. Although they were not able to fix the issue i appreciated their efforts and assistance!

I completely agree with the reviews that said terrible customer service. They are very uncomfortable to talk to. I do have an accent but I speak very well. Their smiles indicated that they were laughing at you. Very Terrible service and nasty attitudes and Very aggressive beside they are very expensive. I dropped my car for alignment and they told me there are some parts were loose and need some work before the alignment, and they list some on the driver side and some on the passenger side and all together cost A little above 600, I agreed but when I picked my car their technician told me nothing done on the driver side only the passenger side and he even said I don’t know why they charge 729. Very expensive and will never go there and don’t recommend them at all.

Really terrible customer service. I came in for an oil change to see if they could do it today or tomorrow. They were rude and dismissive of it because I didn’t have an appointment when I didn’t know that I needed one as the dealership I usually go to only takes walk ins. Then I tried to make an appointment for the next day and they said Sunday’s are walk in only. Then I asked if I could just leave my car overnight for tomorrow and they said not because apparently that’s not a walk in? When I was willing to just leave it to be done at any point tomorrow which is literally the same as a walk in? Why do I have to leave and come back for a walk in when I’m already here and can leave it for the next day?And the way he talked to me was very rude and dismissive and I didn’t appreciate it. They’re also more expensive than a dealership so I don’t know what I was thinking trying to come here. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

This shop and the employees saved me over Memorial Day weekend. My trailer picked up a nail in one of the tires and obviously leaking air. Even though they were booked for the whole weekend they were able to squeeze me in to patch and plug my tire. This got me back on the road so I could get all the way back to Texas without missing work. I am very grateful for what they did for me, and the staff working extra to accommodate me. Very friendly and professional shop will recommend for anything you need.

We brought our car here for the first time instead of our regular place because Firestone was the only place open on Sunday, and we needed an oil leak fixed before going out of town the next day. Despite having only one tech for the day, they were able to get us in and fix the problem within a couple of hours! The manager, Paul, was extremely courteous and personable. Needless to say, they have earned a repeat customer.

Take way too long for simple tasks

These guys were lifesavers today! We were here from Mobile and our vw bug broke down. The fan blew apart. We called around and Firestone was the only place that could and would try to look at our car today. We had our car towed there and within 30 minutes they were able to take a look at it. We werent sure if they would be able to fix it today so we checked around for rentals which was a bust. Even tried Uhaul. Nothing! They had parts in-stock and were able to get us back on the road in about 2 and half hours. These guys were AWESOME! Thank yall so much for such prompt and caring service!

Today was such a great experience! Earnest and Tiffany were SO KIND and patient with me. It was my first time buying new tires and they walked me through that process very well. They also made sure to check other aspects of my car to make sure it was safe when I left the store. I will FOR SURE be going back there. Good people. High quality work. What more could you ask for?

I went in for an oil change on a Sunday, which is a walk-in only time. I fully understand that wait times are longer with a shorter staff, and no scheduled times. I got there at 1pm and was told that it wouldnt be done until 3-3:30. Again, its a long wait, but I understand. At about 3, another customer comes in for a new battery. He is given an estimate that it will be about 5 when his vehicle is ready. At 3:45 both of our cars are taken to the back by the same technician. Again, this is already 15 minutes past my estimated completion time. My car is lifted, and the oil is drained. The tech then moved to the battery change, and worked there until it was completed at 4:15. He then disappeared, then came back and finished my oil change at 4:45. Again, I am a reasonable customer, but having another customer moved in front of me for no reason, causing me to wait for nearly 4 hours is absolutely unacceptable. I wont be going back.

I was driving home to ATL and my check engine light came on. I stopped in at Firestone and was well taken care of. Everyone here was kind, helpful and informative. I truly felt like I was a priority as everyone here worked fast and efficient just so I could get back onto the road and make it home. Thank you again Tiffany and Earnest for your help!

Pretty clean shop area. Usually quite busy. Appointment recommended. Theyve done quite a few repairs on my old pickup truck and so far Im well pleased with results.

I came in at 4:55 on Sunday with a nail in my tire. I was on my way back from Auburn and heading the whole way to South Carolina. I didn’t realize I had a nail until I was on the road. Paul and his team were more than happy to help. Firestone closes at 5 pm on Sunday, but they stayed late just to help patch my tire. Super grateful for them. Will be coming back to Firestone in the future!!

A welcome and much-needed addition to the Auburn Opelika area. Firestone has been there for us for years and has serviced all of our vehicles! Most definitely glad to have them in town!

I love Tiffany the manager. We were there getting tires but they also let us know our battery was low. Excellent service. Paid for 4 new tires and a lifetime warranty alignment cheaper here than three other places that I called for a quote. They have my business from here on out. Great folks and excellent service and quality maintenance.

Come here if you have time to wait and wait. Always under staffed, mechanics jump around from car to car. Took them 40 minutes to tell me what was wrong... after they knew what was wrong. If you make an appointment, don’t plan on them seeing you at that time. It’ll be best to drop your car off for a day if you have means to do that

Had a tire leaking down on a trailer. Got there just before they were closing. Paul had a tire in stock. Larry did a great job getting new tire on and had us back on the road in about 30 mins. This Firestone was great. If your in the Auburn area and need tire service give them a try.

I went in for a oil change, and the next day my oil light came on. I called and someone told me they probably didn’t put enough oil in it.. a month later my car started making noise because I didn’t have anyone oil at all. They never game me a sticker in the left corner to let me know when I should get another one. Wouldn’t recommend when it comes to the an oil change!!!

My family and I have been long term Firestone customer. We’ve been to countless Firestones and I can reassure you this one is the best of them all. There is a common denominator and that is the supervisor Tiffany Stevens. She goes completely above and beyond to service her customers and treat them right. If there was a definition of perfect customer service she meets & exceeds those expectations. She was previously at the Fort Benning Firestone that my father goes to and she was phenomenal there. Her leadership at this firestone proves to build the brand and cement our trust in the company. I honestly can’t thank her enough for how kind and helpful she has been to us - She truly deserves infinite praise & recognition for her hard work.

Recently, my daughter was Traveling from Auburn back to Atlanta. Before leaving she discovered that one of her tires was very low on Air. I called Firestone Opelika, AL, since they were the only store open on Sunday. Paul answered the phone and said hed be able to look at the tire but wasnt sure hed have time to fix it since it was almost closing. The tire had a nail and was not repairable. Paul worked overtime to make the car safe for my daughter so she could get back home. Firestone, thank you for caring and providing incredible service. Next time Im calling Firestone first.

Scratched all four of my wife’s rims on her Tahoe and the manager Tiffany said get a quote and they would fix it. Got a quote and she said it was to high so went and got another quote and she said it was turned over to corporate. They absolutely will not pay for there mistakes and make it right with the customer. Never dealt with anything like it in my life. Terrible!!!

Wow, these guys are the best auto service ever. Shredded two high load trailer tires on the freeway on a Saturday before Fathers Day, two hours before closing. They had me in and out in 30 minutes for each tire. Did I mention I had to come back for the second tire? They fit me in between other jobs and got me back on the interstate; kept me from being stranded in town on Fathers Day weekend. All was with a smile and a great attitude of, we will get you fixed and on your way, dont worry.

Great place. Nicest and caring staff. They didnt think they were able to fix my truck even good enough for the 200 miles I needed to get back home. But they did a wonderful job. The truck levelled out the closer to home I got the better the truck ran.

Little slow just to change oil

We came here in an emergency after finding a slow leak in one of our tires. They were extremely courteous and fast. My overall stay was about an hour or less. Also the place inside was clean and they have a TV for your wait time or there are some shops within walking distance for that too. The parking was not bad and bathroom was clean. Very pleased with the service here.

Had a flat tire on the interstate during a very rainy evening minutes away from business. I called to find out how to get to them the quickest because I knew it was closing time according to their website. They got me in and out in a hurry, I ended up having to buy a new tire but it was worth them waiting until I got there to see if they could patch the other tire.

Honestly, this review is long overdue. First of all, I never thought a place like this could provide great customer service. But Im glad that I was wrong. Jim is one of the best mechanics. It is awesome that I can call him and he will literally take time to help me figure out what is going on with my car when Im2 hours away. He also drove me to work when I was dropping my car off so I didnt have to walk in the cold to work while being sick. He also was willing to drive to Atlanta while my car was having mechanic issues but thankfully, I was able to drive home with his help. Im not sure what I can say to make you understand that all the amazing guys who work here genuinely care about you. The best part about this place that I frequently visit is that they love my 78 lb dog Waffle and are great about him visiting when the car needs work. They often ask about him if he is not with me. My first encounter with Firestone was with Brandon but since he left, I love the whole team. Thanks Firestone for taking care of me, I am so glad that you are serving Opelika with amazing customer service. I really am grateful to yall!!

I took my suv there for a tire that they did not have they said they would have the tire the next day so two days later I went to another tire shop and they replaced it the same day save yourself a headache and go somewhere else

Paul was awesome. Needed air in the tires of an RV we had just purchased. Paul, who I assumed was the service manager, said sure and personally came out and aired the tires up. Its hard to find customer service like that nowadays. Oh, it was also 5 minutes before closing and no charge.

Had my summer tires mounted and aligned a few days ago here. This weekend, I was doing some maintenance on the car in the garage which required me to take the wheels off and oh my did Firestone over torque the lug bolts to hell.The spec for my BMW is around 103 lbs-ft for the bolts and so usually Ill just pop it off with my impact wrench and go on with my day. My impact wrench wasnt loosening the bolts. OK, maybe its dying. So I got my breaker bar out and had the back workout of my life. One of the bolts, I had to stand and jump on the breaker bar to loosen it....come on guys, I dont even want to think about what that was torqued to...Yall made me think my trusty impact wrench was failing meAnd they charged me for tire disposal, even though I took the all-season tires that was taken off back with me... but thats a story for another time.

Went to avail myself of my lifetime alignment that I bought and have not used. They told me it would be an hour and they would call when it was ready, so I walked to Lowes to shop. After several hours and no phone call, I called and was told we cannot touch your car because it is a liability if we do because there is metal showing through and you have to buy tires or we cannot let you go. Started to buy the tires and then realized that the tires had a warranty because they were not that old. So I call and tell them to cancel putting new tires on it. I take it to get the Goodyear warranty honored. Then find out there is NOT any metal showing through the tires and the tires still have mileage. They flat out lied!I will NEVER buy any products from them ever. I dont care if they are selling tires for half the price of other stores.

Fast and courteous

They’ve done front brakes and a TPMS sensor on my truck and a blend door actuator on my SUV. All work was great and was done in a timely manner. My “Only” gripe is I don’t believe they should be charging $10-$20 for diagnostic if they perform the work.. most places drop that charge if the work is performed otherwise I’d give 5 stars. Please consider that Firestone.

I wanted to get the battery checked out on my daughters car that we recently bought along with an alignment check (due to me recently placing struts on her car) and the tires re-balanced(they did not balance them correctly a couple of weeks ago, car still shaking in rear at certain speeds). Tires still out of balance and was misled on what was wrong with the battery. Store Manager, Tiffany Stevens, would not even acknowledge me when I asked her if I could speak to her. She didnt act like she even cared at all. Techs get paid by the job and by how much labor is, keep that in mind if you do not take heed to this review.

I am so excited to finally have a Firestone in Opelika! The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The service advisor did not try to pressure me into having service done. He stated what was needed at the time and did not press for anything additional, I appreciate that. Very friendly atmosphere.

Was not satisfied with service and neither was lady customer in line ahead of me,she was complaining also.

I have an 09 Honda Civic and I took it to this location because my a/c went out and I have always heard good things about Firestone.I dropped my car off so they could diagnosis the problem and was called about an hour later stating that my a/c compressor went out due to old age and it would be $1296.00 to fix. I went and picked my car up and refused the recommended work. Luckily, I went and got a second opinion from a local mechanic who immediately stated that it was more then likely just the A/C relay switch. And after about 30 minutes my a/c was fixed and it only cost me $50.00. Not sure why Firestone would try to charge me for something that was not broken. I will never recommend this location to anyone because I feel they tried to rip me off.
