I have always bought brand-new cars because I don’t like the hassle of used car dealerships. However, I recently moved my son from Canada to Pasadena, California, for college. I thought he should start with a used car. We didn’t know the area and proceeded to consult online reviews to find a dealership. B&J came highly recommended, and even though they were an hour away, we decided it was worth a look. We were greeted by a salesman named Gino, and he was very courteous and upfront about everything. He showed us a 2013 Mazda 3, plus all the historical paperwork, listed the pros and cons, and all without any pressure—he was just honest and forthright. After our meeting, we said we’d think about it because we had another appointment at another dealership that afternoon. We left, and I think we drove only a few blocks away before I changed my mind, and I decided to do a u-turn to head back to B&J! We bought the car that day, and although it had some minor issues, Gino had them taken care of as quickly as possible. The paperwork was easy and seamless, and honestly, his service was on par, if not better, than at a new car dealership. I would definitely buy from Gino again!

Bought a truck about two weeks ago & unfortunately within 5 days of minimal use the engine light turnedon. Took it to the mechanic (bought as is) & turned out it has a misfire to the spark plugs, got it fixed cost $500. Two days later engine light came on again, had it scanned & now being told its the catalyst. Now that will cost an additional $1500. Two weeks into owning a 15k truck & I have to spend $2000. Very upsetting. Staff provided good customer service, unfortunately I do not recommend this dealer, especially because I was told that all cars have an extensive inspection before they are put out for sale.

Cant complain. They didnt let me haggle much but the car was priced fairly. The salesman, Gino I think, was pretty cool. Got me out of there quickly as I was in a hurry.

Went to 4 different dealerships over the course of 3 days. Salesmen playing games and doing their usual tricks. B&J was so much better, it was like a different world. The salesman, Dean, was SO great to work with. He was really upfront about the condition of the car and the cost, and I ended up getting an amazing deal. Paid about $2k less for the car than I was being offered at other dealers. Paperwork took about 30 minutes, we took a photo of the happy sales conclusion, and I was out the door. Recently bought a 2016 Tacoma from these guys. The price was well below any other dealer. I figured there had to be a catch somewhere but after 3 months, there was no catch! The truck is perfect. My buddy is a Toyota mechanic and he went over the whole truck and was in amazed at how well-maintained it was. Got a great deal and will definitely be back for our next car.

10/10 would recommend. Dean was honest and straightforward throughout the entire process which made everything very transparent. He communicated very well over the phone and via email which made purchase day very simple and easy. Had a minor mechanical issue just days after purchase, but Dean and the crew took care of me and covered every penny without hesitation.

Very good communication and nothing hidden. Everything up front no surprises, no drama. We paid cash but this dealership also has very good financing available even for those with less than perfect credit. The vehicles all had carfax and the prices were very competitive. (due to low overhead) This proprietorship is very courteous and it was a non stressful, pleasant car buying experience. None of the vehicles sold here were salvaged or in accidents. We checked the inventory every now and then to find a low mileage vehicle in the model we wanted. When the vehicle came up we drove down and looked at the vehicle on the lot. We liked what we saw made an appointment with Dean Jones (No not the actor) just a very courteous and HONEST salesperson. We test drove the vehicle and I ran an OBDII ....nothing major. No codes...All was good. We were in and out of there in 2 hours and are very pleased with our vehicle. Kudos to B & J Car Company. And special thanks to Dean. !!Buy Beware!! This place rolls back miles. Make sure you get a carfax report or a autocheck report when buying from this company. They roll back miles on cars that have been trading in and they resell!!
