I absolutely love this place. Even though it’s a smallish space they utilize it really well. The place has a really chill vibe to it and I really like that. Everyone that works here is really nice too. They guy that makes some of the costumes is really talented. I bought a pair of shoes here a while ago and I absolutely love them. Whenever I hear that someone that I know is visiting California (I’m from the east coast) I always tell them to go to gasoline alley.

I wish I could give no stars. Went in with my partner a few months ago and the extremely rude owner wouldn’t let us buy anything. We are drag performers and where ready to drop some serious coin but they wouldn’t let us buy anything. Even asked about renting and the rude old hag behind the counter still said no. Pretty sure it was blatant homophobia. If you’re going to have a costume shop you better be ready for gay people to want to buy things. Unacceptable. If you’re gay don’t bother.

Gasoline Ally is like walking into the past and the future at the same time! If they dont have what your looking for then nobody does. They have it all here from accessories and shoes to themed dressing rooms that accentuate the fun of trying on these amazing quality costumes. Ask for Liz! Shes very helpful and her personality is like sunshine! Have fun!

Had to grab a last minute cape for a photo shoot and found the perfect one on a sea of beautiful outfits and fabrics! Have been going to this place since I was a little girl the staff is awesome and the vibe is fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone’s costume needs!! 👌

Had to get a last minute costume for a Great Gatsby themed party at work. I hate to say I cant remember the guys name but all members of the staff were great and they helped me and my friend pick out bad ass costumes. We won best costumes of the night. Will be going again for any costume party.

SO many costume choices with all the accessories! Staff are extremely helpful and kind. You can buy or rent costumes here. Kinda over stuffed with things and hard to find what youre looking for by yourself so ask for help!!

Ive been shopping at Gasoline Alley since highschool for party outfits, dances, and now Im out of college for a few years and still going there for party costumes and halloween! I have recommended all of my friends and theyve all found something every single time! From roaring 20s to 80s to literally any kind of theme you can think of!I also decided to buy one of the outfits I had rented initially and paid around just $20 more. So worth it! ENJOY!!!

My husband and I have been shopping there every year for our Halloween parties. Stuff was always helpful and friendly and we have spent there a good amount of money. However, last time we didnt have good experience. The owner was unfriendly and didnt want to let us rent the top and wig separately from the pants. Its not a big deal, but the way she told it wasnt nice and cool. Anyway, very disappointed. We will never come back again.

BE WARE. THE PRICE IS A RIP OFF. A old maid costume can cost you 80$. to rent something for only one night will cost you half of the retail price. and the retail price is ridiculously high!!!When i rent the maid costume the guy told me it was 4$. but he charged me 40$. i was thinking alright i should have 36$ back when i return it. but when i went back there. they say no. its 40$ for one night. thats crazy! the same maid costume will cost you around 30$ new!BE WARE!!!!!!

Ive been getting costumes from here for about the past 4 years and I am always happy with their courteous service and my ability to find just what I need. For such a small corner store they sure cherry a large variety of costumes to buy and or rent.

Been coming here for more then 30yrs, not JUST costumes....bought my first vintage bowling shirt and kool kat 50s clothes back in the 80s before remakes became popular, they still carry great clothes for those who are kool ! Check it out !

A hoarders paradise of costumes. Theres so much on the racks and the store is so packed and crowded you cant even see anything. Messy store and looks like a hoarder runs it. They need to upgrade to a bigger store.
