I usually enjoy my shopping experience. However, my last visit was disappointing. The majority of the women’s clothing and shoes are NOT organized by size. And NO it’s not the customers. I’m assuming it’s new Management! Also mask are no longer required????
Got many good items there in the past, but they dont stock items that men are interested in, its become a womans clothing thrift shop. What do you do with the good (mens) stuff! Aricelli is always kind and helpful (and funny!)and a joy to see when shes working. There are still plenty of good deals there and new all the time so worth a visit. They are a for profit corporation (Goodwill is a nonprofit with jobs and training so donate there!Gotta love Savers business plan: get all your merchandise free, get it delivered free, make up a price, anything really, form private corporation and become a billionaire by hinting its all for charity! And yes, I shop there often for the treasure hunt! Got this yesterday. 30 % senior discount on Tuesday age 55 and up!! Ask at checkout to join savers club...20% next trip after spending 100 bucks...phone number sign in. Cheers!
Great finds here but whom ever is pricing clothes needs to get over themselves bc they are pricing items that you can find on Depop for more than what Depop would sell. Nothing should be over $10. Plus..the person pricing has no idea what vintage brands are bc they continually price vintage items for less than F21 items. I’m not mad about that but it’s very obvious that this store is run by up tight 20 somethings who have no idea what cashmere is. Acrylic sweaters shouldn’t be MORE than cashmere. Hope the orange haired girl over pricing items gets fired.
Great place good selection nice prices
One of the best Savers thrift stores out there. Always interesting selection, good deals, and a friendly staff!Update: Prices have recently gotten high here. Im not sure a thrift store should be charging top premium prices for donated items, but they are. Do your homework before purchasing anything above a few bucks.
Short Points:*no changing room use*no refund policy only exchangeThe prices arent great compared to Goodwill. Yes there is alot of options unless your man. I will say I was disappointed I have gone here in a while but I thought hey let give it a try and boy was I disappointed. I found clothes I wanted to try but the changing rooms were closed. It was annoying hearing that but whatever so I asked about the return policy and they told me I could only exchange. It realized at that moment I should just leave. If I could at least return them than its fine but I could do that or even use a changing room.
I absolutely love shopping here and the staff is most helpful and friendly
Savers is by far the best. Very clean, very nice inside. Employees are always helpful and friendly.
Nice place. Decent. Good prices. Always finding new stuff. Not always neat or organized and has a heavy energy lol but what do you expect from a thrift store?
Love this store. You never know what youll find!
Excellent so much to choice from had fun cant wait to go back
Always good finds!
Nice place for shoping cheeper than another
They have good stuff but to Spencer even like Walmart brands New stuff
Very friendly people they have a lot of games and puzzles to pick from
Childrens books, name brand clothes etc. all at great discount prices! I got a whole new wardrobe for 60 bucks! cant beat it!
Love it staff are so kind
Best store for used clothes cheap..and great quality
Its a good store, I only go for the books since they have almost every topic. Of course the books will vary everytime.
Great prices great merchandise tons of name brands for le$$
Best value on clothing you will ever find. Pleasant staff. Better than places like Goodwill.
The store is very clean and organized, however the prices are outrages for some brands. For a lularoe brand shirt they wanted 14.99. I can go to a consignment shop and find lularoe items brand new with the tags for 8 dollars sometimes less. I was shocked when I saw 29.99 for a North Face zip up fleece that wasnt in great condition. Taking into consideration that the prices are so high I only go to savers when they have a 50% off sale. Other than that my experience have been great at savers.
Really cheap baby and children’s clothes can’t beat the prices, found some clothes for .99 cents some things are a little pricey but for the most part it is A very good deal . All clothes were in good condition and didn’t have rips or stains. they practice 6 feet distancing during checkout & everybody wore a mask
Always find great items here from books to appliances to clothes. Sometimes I find what Im looking for and sometimes I find something I dont expect.
Well Managed Sore. Amazingly Helpful Friendly Employees. I love shopping here, my kids visit often. They loving shopping green, reduce, reuse and recycle. Textiles recycling is far lower than expected. Many little actions equal big changes. So I donate to shoppers and shop here. Its awesome.Im even applying for a job here!
Pros:-Great selection; if you’ve been to other locations you’ll notice the difference shortly,-Constantly doing sales. Once a month at least for a big sale day.Cons:-Most staff aren’t as well trained as the vets. That’s all. Good for the most part!
Like savers, I do feel they are a bit overpriced considering they are used items and they dont pay for the stuff, however I do appreciate the quality of the items and the organization of it all, and when they have a 50% off sale its worth it
Staff is very courteous, efficient, and friendly. Store is about as clean as a donation store can be.

When is the next sale? I live this place the prices are reasonable always new items the staff is friendly and you can basically find almost anything and everything you’ll need!!!
Way too expensive! Saw original prices on some items and the store marked it for way higher, smh!! Talk about inflation! Geez.
Theyve pretty much got MOST of whatya might want/ need....prices are reasonable!
Weird, use to think it was a great place but now things are going down! Prices outrages! Hey i just donated that now it 50.00 bucks i paid 19.99 wrong!!!
I always purchase great finds from here.
The place to go if you are looking for absolute Junk>> Anything good is priced higher than ebay..Anything really good walks out the back door ..Not worth taking a chance and getting sick...
Awesome place to get used items. Offers 30% discount for military personnel which makes it much easier on a family like ours when money is tight. Helpful and kind staff. Lines tend to be a little long otherwise a great places.
Theres always new clean donated clothes on organized racks. Im always pleasantly surprised with the Halloween and Christmas displays too. The folks who accept the donations are polite and helpful
I love Savers. Great buys
So much treasure! I love this store. Great price, selection and service. Way way better than Goodwill. Worth checking out.
Everything was clean, had a great time and made several good finds. I thrift a lot and I was much more satisfied with the selection here than in some other places I go to. The bathroom had a WEIRD amount of graffitti, however.
Clean, organized, friendly. This is as good as a second hand store gets.
Overall its a really good set up, easy to find things youre looking for as they have many sections that are separated. Only thing I dont like is they keep changing the rewards. I had a card almost full to get 30% off but because they changed the system now they wont honor it and then they started a new one just to stop that one too. If it wasnt for that theyd get 5 stars.
This savers facility is one of the biggest ones in Connecticut. It has a wide selection of products and everything is good to decent shape. It is worth a trip if you are looking for a good bargain.
Great shopping, got 40% off already cheap stuff, very good selection! Also got some excellent books for cheap!
Love the variety, always great stuff for amazing prices. Got my son a small desk and chair for $15. They have clothes, prom dresses, shoes, furniture, coffee pots, dishes, blankets and comforters. So much stuff, well organised and clean. Also, you can donate stuff.
Savers is the best place to thrift for clothing. Its touch-and-go for anything else. They have prices on the higher side for some items, but they justify it with a larger selection than other thrift stores.
As usual, great. Clothing always organize by gender and size which is why I love Savers.
Was once a great place with amazing prices but has since turned to selling mostly nonesense and junk I imagine their employees keep anything worth selling. The employees vary some are real jerks and other are nice they spend 99% of their time in the break room shouting to each other. They also now overcharge for everything which makes it difficult for them to move less desirable inventory so the same thing tends to sit there for months.
THE thrift store if you have kids. Amazing selection of baby and kids clothing, toys, shoes, and books. They even have special sales and deals depending on the day. Definitely coming back!
I love this place. We get most of my sons clothes here and a fair bit for us too. Great employees too!
Pure boring
Love this Savers! On 50% off days the prices are unbeatable! Sign up for the Savers Club to get emails when the sale days are.Okay... to clarify 50% off days are only for clothes, accessories, linens... if you are looking for a deal on housewares... youll probably need to look elsewhere!
Best place to hunt 4 finds...!!! I have found almost brand new designer and gorgeous accessories, but you gotta dig through things though!
Huge store with a great inventory. Some of prices are high, for example, active-wear, dry-fit type shirts were priced at $15. I find same shirts at other thrift stores for $5.
Great prices on books. Sweaters were over-priced, in my opinion ($12-$16 for a thick sweater; $5-$7 for a thin sweater). Check-out took awhile.
7/29/20: Savers keeps claiming the system is down for points. They just dont want to honor them- its all about money. Prices are too high for used and soiled cloths. Best time to shop is when items are 50% off.
The prices on Savers is going up. But you always find something
Awsome, found everything I wanted and more plus 30% military discount!
My favorite store. I never walk out empty handed. I always find things to buy. Nice clothes!!
I love Savers, I make a walk through at least once a week. I often dont buy anything but every once and a while I find exactly what I am looking for. Two gripes: The person pricing stuff overestimates some things that they think are collectable like Legos and cast iron. The same exact cast iron pan you can buy new for 15 is 20 used at savers just because the person pricing it thinks it is worth more than it is. Second gripes, the mens bathroom smells terrible.
Clean, organized, friendly. This is as good as a second hand store gets.
This place is phenomenal. I would shop here every day if I could
Always find more then I am looking for, at great prices!!
Grrrrreat place.
Well organized. Clothes are sized. Found great deals.
Savers used to be the best place to go to get the best bang for your buck. Not anymore. No bueno.
Rarely went home empty handed, only a few times for returns
Love this place! lots of treasures! Great prices especially during their sales!
Helpful staff, good rotating selection, and (of course) great prices.
This Savers has a nice collection with good prices.
Prices are getting out of sight
Feel like this is just a business, I havent seen any indication that they help any charities, but they do have a large selection of clothes it seems.
SAVERS! If youre looking for books, especially for kids, you can find a great selection here!
Great prices and huge selection of clothes, accessories, books, housewares, toys, etc. Every time you drop off a donation you receive a sticker for a percentage off your total purchase...up to 30% off. Great for any thrifty shopper!
Years ago this place was awesome. Now the manager stinks! He charges (as he makes the prices of more desierd items) full retail price or more unless the items your looking at are garbage or in rough shape. I thought savers was supposed to be for people who were underprivileged and cant afford shopping at regular stores. Nope not anymore its a shame, and the manager should be fired for this. As hes turned the store into a consignment shop as far as the prices are concerd.
To expensive for donated stuff.
You can always find a great buy.The workers are very pleasent and happy, always wanting to help.
I Love it, good merchandise, the Prices are awesome, and i always purchase an item.
Lime this place has a lot of selections but some prices can be better especially since things are used!
Found some pretty cool items at reasonable prices.
Just like goodwill good used stuff
I basically was able to find what I was looking for.
Great place to shop, well organized, friendly workers, and very fair prices.
Clean items, very good prices. Its cool how they have 50% off of things on the Holidays.
Some prices are a little pricey but good selection of items
Awesome selection and great staff.
Nice things u can find
So much fun and so many nice things to choose from.
A bit overwhelming and then you get over it. Wear comfy shoes cause theres a lot to see
My favorite thrift shop. Always plenty of High quality items.
You can find some neat stuff here, but the prices are a bit crazy.
Cant live without it.Great prices and mostly find good stuff.
I can go there with not much money, And come out looking good !!!!
Found an item with original pricetag on it, Savers jaked price way above as they forgot to remove original tag, site manager was rude to me when I asked about it. SheWas unreasonable and mouthy.
Love savers. Great deals and pretty clean.
Love this store always a new Goodie its like a Treasure Hunt !
Savers offers both new and mostly pre-owned clothing, accessories, shoes, housewares, bed & bath, books, electronics and more which they typically purchase from non-profits and charities. They are providing a service by purchasing these charitable donations from a variety of organizations and recycling them to the public at very reasonable prices.Join the Super Savers Club at their website and get email pre-notifications whenever sales are planned which are most often on and around our federal holidays and most often include 50% off marked prices. Also, unlike many other retailers, Savers does not mark-up their merch when then run a 50% off sale, they truly give you 50% off their already very reasonable prices.I picked up a beautiful suede jacket which appeared brand new, originally marked at $20 for only $10 at their Columbus Day sale and a stylish hound’s tooth blazer with the original tags still attached for $10 during their Veterans Day sale.Naturally, its all about timing at thrift shops like Savers, but if you’re going during a sale, get their early (usually 10 AM opening time) while the selection is still great, and dont forget to bring some patience as the checkout lines can get quite long! They accept cash, MC and Visa and all sales discounts are applied immediately at the register.
Good place to find new to you stuff
Great store with great finds at low prices!!
