My family was used for the fundraiser event in Anaheim. My daughter was bilaterally implanted and then activated Jan 2020. Dr. Guzzo was her Audiologist and initially seemed fine. After we brought up the fact that after several months, she was not responding at all to any sound, she assured us it was due to our shortcomings and not hers since shes got extensive training in watching for signs that our daughter is hearing during her time in the booth. We requested several times to adjust the mapping to which she replied that she would not make adjustments just to make us feel better. I told her that when we are in the booth my daughter isnt turning to the corner due to sound, but due to the large bright screen that assists the child. She said she was passing her tests great and we just needed to work with her more. I insisted we turn off the monitors and try again. Once we did, she failed COMPLETELY.This is NOT the type of attitude a doctor should have and NOT the type of facility that you should visit. After working with a new audiologist and speaking to a large community of implanted kids/parents, I truly feel that those kids that take to hearing quickly, do so heavily on their own. Providence parades those cases as though it is a result of their efforts and attempts to pass those of us who have more difficult cases, where it almost seems our kids prefer to be deaf, off as lazy or neglectful. We spent 9 months with Providence and had NO positive signs, so we started with another who remapped our daughters devices with which we instantly saw a change, literally day ONE. I cant describe here how happy yet angry that day made me feel.If you watch our video interview online, which played during the fundraiser, we were 5 months in and still naive but beginning to have our doubts as to what was a result of their skill and what was the natural progression with the implant. We are very happy we left and are now working with our new audiologist instead. Hopefully your journey will not be as difficult, but if so, that you find someone who is observant and patient, or who has children so they understand the value in being receptive to the parents experience day to day.

Denies accommodations for disabilities to receive services. Was told my child would be removed from the patient services list because of temporary policies that he is unable to function in with his disability. This is discrimination towards those with disabilities - which is outrageous considering 99% of their clientele have special needs!!! Supervisor is not helpful accuses me of being unable to reach even though Ive returned every voicemail and answered phone as able. Weve attended faithfully for 6+ months, and only now are they threatening to kick us out because THEY are creating new rules.Long wait times to receive an evaluation, phone scheduling services from the main hub is frustrating. We waited months for an available service spot to get only 50% of recommended services.

My son has not yet received his ABR, however Monica (the patient care coordinator) has been FANTASTIC! She is speedy, always returns calls, and has gone above and beyond to make sure that everything gets done. We are a special case and so lots of extra paperwork and signatures are required for my son’s medical care and she has done it all!

This review is specifically for their audiology services. Wait times for appointments are unacceptable for infants under 6 months given the importance of early access to sound for auditory development. Once you do get in unfortunately the staff is very unwilling to listen to parents concerns and communicate effectively with them. And their phone tree system is incredibly frustrating with long hold times and unhelpful staff once you finally do get to talk to someone. I brought up concerns about my son’s hearing aid technology in July and now it is September and no progress has been made, and I can’t even get his audiologist to respond to emails or voicemails.

My son attends the preschool there. He has blossomed over the 2 years he has been at Providence. They provide evaluations and hearing tests. Turns out the test showed my son had a hearing issue, which contributed to his speech delay. Soon after we went to his Pediatrician and he immediately was referred to an ENT for tubes. Almost 2 years later, he is no longer delayed in speech. He has made so many friends at Providence. The teachers there are great with the kids. All the kids are really sweet and he has made some solid friendships there that I think will be a great social foundation for the rest of his life. I would highly recommend this Preschool. My son has really grown into his own. As a working Mom, my son spent most of the day there. But he was always happy and engaged. The school offers time for art, reading, writing, and the staff are really interactive with the kids. I couldnt ask for a better experience. Some highlights: healthy snacks and lunches are included, playground has cover (great for summer when it gets hot!), staff help potty train, lots of fun art the kids bring home, very clean and safe environment!

I interviewed for an IT Manager position with this company. I felt both the phone interview and final with the VP of IT went well. Now I wasnt thinking that I was a shoe in and would receive an offer. What disappointed me was that they didnt even have the professional courtesy to let me know. I tried to stay positive and professional by sending them two separate emails just asking if I am still being considered, but no response.

My son attended this school for 3 weeks. In those 3 weeks they ignored his allergy restrictions. Food was provided and yet he was having allergy reactions. He hated going to this school every morning he would cry because i left, my vhild doesnt have attachment issues so him crying at me leaving raised concerns. My son still attends providence for speech and OT, so i get to see the children outside during playtime.I have sat here seeing how Ms Patel just yells at the child in frustration because they wont stop crying and picking him up aggressively because he didnt want to play. The little boy cried for 30mins banged is head on the glass door a couple times and they ignored him.Im glad i pulled my son from this preschool, patience is key for children with diagnoses.

Expect months to pass by before you hear about your childs speech evaluation results. Same thing for the initial Occupational Therapy appointment, they scheduled my son 2 months from today.👎

This place is a mess! No customer service skills, the techs are not personable, getting someone on the phone is a joke. Seriously ask your insurance company for a different speech and hearing center. It will save you a headache.
