Amazing facility with amazing staff. Our initial speech therapist did a wonderful job and was very attentive. Unfortunately she moved. I was fearful about our new therapist, however she has also been proven knowledgeable, patient and firm (my child is a playful one). She has helped my son improve so much! And they always give me information on how my son is doing, and what is needed from me at home.
When my son began therapy at providence he was 2 years 10 months, he was pronouncing about 15-20 single words. After attending his therapies for 3 months my son gained about 50+ words and was starting to put 2-3 words together. Fast forward to present, 7 months of therapy he is talking non stop! We have had an excellent experience overall. Well worth the long process of enrollment.
Dr. Chris Townsley did the very test I needed my whole life but never got until about a month after my 36th birthday. The test consists of dins of multiple conversations and you are told which voice to listen for and repeat the sentence it says. Six different sentences with lower and lower signal-to-noise ratios are played. He diagnosed me as having a mild signal-to-noise loss ratio. I knew I had some level of signal-to-noise loss. Until I had it documented by an audiologist, I had employers arguing with me about it just because I otherwise have 100% normal detection-of-sound hearing.
Good location. Excellent customer service. Really tried to help and assist patients in all manner of ways so they can get the best care and exams needed. Great experience!
I have been extremely satisfied with my new hearing aids. The doctors on staff are very knowledgeable and the staff is helpful. Finding parking is quite a challenge. You have to get there at the right time to find available parking in the structure. Parking is free with validated ticket provided by the Hearing Center.
If something goes wrong with the hearing aids.thay will adjust it in no time.great staff. If you have any questions they’ll be happy to answer them. Thanks for all you do.👂what? What’s that?😆
I have been taking my dad to this office for over a year already. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. My dad had questions regarding his hearing aid, he got it for the first time, and they took the time to answer all his questions.
We have been going to Providence Speech and Hearing for over 12 years and they have taken exceptional care, for the needs of my son. Not had problems. Friendly staff.
Dr. Steve is very patient and caring, helpful in such an important decision making process! Definitely recommend, the Receptionist was very nice as well.
Great service and making appoints are easy. Staff members are great. Thank you very much for all your help. Elizabeth Granados
Therapist provide excellent service. reception always friendly and helpful. Great place.
Weve had a great experience here to test my sons hearing and start him in speech therapy. Ive been pleased with their staff and the care theyve provided.
My personal experience at this facility was very disappointing. I made three visits and every time I found the Receptionists very unfriendly and unhelpful. I would NOT recommend this facility, although the audiologists were OK.They have to do some improvements in their PR, by employing more friendly and helpful
Excellent costomar service and I am totally satisfied with my hearing aids.Their hearing test was thorough and exact necessary for my hearing deficit need.Thank you
Providence in Cerritos is Amazing! The staff is friendly and love how they know my Daughter.
This location is convenient and parking is free with validation which is great. My visit was mainly so that I can get a hearing test and see if I qualify for BAHA Implant. I was referred to this location because of their knowledge on the implant. I was disappointed when all they did was a hearing test and told me that I still had to see my ENT to get a referral for the implant. If I knew this, I could’ve went directly to my ENT rather than wasting time getting another hearing test done since I had recently gone to my regular audiologist with connect hearing. The audiologist was nice but a little impersonal.
They are such a great team that make sure you feel every minute there worth!!!Lindsay is my boy favorite,😊
I strongly suggest NOT going to Word and Brown. I supported them for 4 years paying retail and renewing my warrantee. I thought they did great work until one of my hearing aids broke and I needed to see them because I was leaving for a Hawaiian vacation in several days. The head audiologist, decided that I would probably damage a loaner in Hawaii and flatly refused me a loaner. On 2 other occasions I was given a loaner with no questions asked, however, this time because I mentioned Hawaii I was refused. I am 66 years old and have always been very careful with a loaner and there was no reason to refuse me because the loaners were available in stock! They will not help you if you have problems and when I met they I was told loaners would always be available and this is an untrue statement--because they decided not to loan me and I had a very difficult trip and when I came home they sent my aids in and they both needed to be replaced because they were damaged. Now, W & B is saying that at least one of mine was working (sort of a CYA excuse) when I left on my trip but this one left one operates the sound on the right and it makes no sense to say this--because broken is broken and I needed a loaner! With one working it was very difficult and I had to keep tapping on them on the side of my head which annoyed me because they kept cutting out. The audiologist seemed to be scrambling for excuses when I confronted him after my trip.W & B also keep using my private personal information that I asked from the beginning that it not be used for any mailers! They keep asking you several times a year to donate to their charity which I felt I was already doing by paying high retail for their products. I asked them to stop sending the letters and emails and they said they would, however, they kept coming always around the holidays and summer. If you want honest good work do not waste your time going to them as they will not support you if you have a problem because I found this out with an expensive vacation to visit a special old friend and I was unable to hear well and struggled to communicate which if they had loaned me a hearing aid I would not have had this experience. The bad luck for me was that my special friend passed away a few months later and I will never have the chance again to communicate with him physically at least. This tells me that one never knows the full extent of bad work as it ruined my trip and now I wont get another chance! For me, the consequences of their unprofessional methods was a devastating one and I support you in this not happening to you!I also reached out to the people on the Board at W & B and none replied. It took me hours to dig up online a phone contact for the top person who was also completely unhelpful and would not take any care to help me. They refused for several months to provide me with my warranty information and serial numbers so I could try and find another provider! My Oticon aids cost me $6,000 and I received no support information and when I called Oticon they told me to ask W & B for my information again. Finally, after several months they provided it to me!I am just SO fortunate to have found Arcade Hearing just a few blocks from my home in Santa Monica, CA. It is very difficult to find an honest audiologist, I have complained to several agencies and have gotten no help so they are in business really because our government does not have enough investigators in consumer affairs to make these audiology shops stay honest.I support anyone with hearing loss in finding an upfront, forthright Audiology office where you will be treated with the dignity and honesty that you all deserve. Thanks,Lisa L. Olson
