We ordered beautiful couches from Bassett Furniture and they came today! From designing them with Michelle to our delivery with David and Noah everything was easy, happy, and they look great! Michelle was easy to work with and helped us pick out the perfect fabric that would go with our house and helped us get everything to fit in the room the way we wanted. David and Noah were happy, professional, and super helpful with our delivery. They brought in the furniture and helped me to rearrange things so that it looked perfect. They made my whole day!! I will definitely shop at Bassett again and will recommend it to all my friends!

Very disappointed with our most recent Bassett purchase. We had Bassett in the past (Easton Collection) and liked them a lot. We were told this CU2 collection was comparable (by designer Debbie M.), after just two years of light use in a home with four adults they look bad. The cushions are sagging. You can feel the edges of wood under the fabric on arms of all pieces. Dont make the same mistake. Sorry to say we regret this purchase. Look at the photos, they speak for themselves.Update:Bassett called and offered to send a technician to our home to look at the furniture. After having a look at it he explained there had been a change in the manufacturing process. He took some of his own pictures. They sent a moving team to pick up the furniture so it could be repaired. It was returned two weeks later. The arms all feel padded again. The cushions have been fluffed up. Kylie, a Bassett employee, said the cushion fillers are on back order with Covid-19. (They will take around 4 months which we understand). We were impressed Bassett made an effort to address our concerns. Will post new photos and updates on how things hold up.

Delivery drivers were quick and careful. Everyone we worked with was super friendly and helpful. Great sofas! Really comfortable. This is our second set from Bassett.

Ordered a couch from Bassett and it was by far the worst experience. When we ordered the couch they said it would be about 12 weeks before we received it which we were okay with. The twelve weeks got closer and closer still no information or details so we went in to figure out what was going on. Long story short they told us that our couch was going to take longer to get here but they would keep us updated. The only time we were updated is when we would call and ask. We finally got our couch today 20 weeks later. It wasnt wrapped or protected with anything and it didnt even come with the two accent pillows they said it would. It was scheduled to be delivered between 1-3 and finally showed up at 5. Not happy with the customer service at all.

So great! Delivery was awesome! The guys that brought it were so courteous and careful!!! We love the furniture.

Beautiful, quality furniture with lots of options. Although I didn’t purchase anything this time, I’ll be back. The prices were out of the range for what I was looking for (a small bench chair) but while looking through the store I found other pieces I might consider at a later date.Customer service was also wonderful.

We have had a great experience buying new furniture for our new home! We have been working with Kim Mangel out of the Orem Utah store. She has been fantastic with putting together rugs and furniture in matching our floors and paint colors. It is turning out beautiful. We couldn’t have done all this with out her expertise. She has such a good eye in colors and textures. We appreciate all the time she has spent with us. Even on her days off she drops everything when we have needed her to answer questions and make suggestions.There has been a few issues with no reflection on Kim. She has had to apologize for downfalls of others, trying not to ruin our experience.We have had a rug delivered that was marked wrong by the rep. We have had to request a repair on our brand new sectional because of careless delivery and ripping the fabric on the corner piece of our sectional.And the wait time on our furniture was quite long but we are please with what Kim has helped us pick out. So to her credit it was worth the wait.To sum this all up. We will definitely still do more shopping at Bassett, only with Kim and her excellent and superior service.

My wife and I are very disappointed with the service that we have been experiencing from Bassett. We bought a couch back before Christmas and were very excited about the purchase. The couch was custom so there was a long wait which was totally understandable. The day after we made the purchase we were called by the sales rep and she let us know that the agreed upon price in the store when purchasing was incorrect. She had miscalculated by about 1k! Ok fine, mistakes happen. So recently the couch was finally delivered and upon arrival realized that the color was wrong. Like not even close!The delivery guys were great and told us that we could keep the couch until the right couch could be delivered which was nice but still... We waited about 13 weeks to have the first couch delivered but now were being told that to get the color that we want it will be another 15 weeks!My wife first called customer service to voice her displeasure about the transaction. She mentioned the initial price quote being 1k off, and then mentioned the wrong color couch being delivered. She was told that a manager would be calling her within a coupe of days. We waited a few days and she never got a call. I decided to call again to reiterate how displeased we were and I was told that I would be getting a call later that day or worst case scenario, the next day. That was about 5 days ago... still waiting for a call.I am not one to complain, nor one to hastily leave a negative review as mistakes do happen but I feel like we are not being adequately taken care of.

We were so excited to purchase a beautiful couch from Bassett. We have purchased other furniture from them and we have loved it. We had one problem with our dresser and they came out and fixed it right away. Unfortunately our couch has not been a great purchase. Our couch is supposed to be performance fabric. We are supposed to be able to clean it with just soap and water. Every time we try to clean a spot we get a big stain ring around the spot we cleaned. We try to clean the stain ring and it will just reappear after a few days. The worst part is that we have tried to call them multiple times and no one calls us back.

We ended up at Bassett after exhausting the selection of quality furniture stores in Utah Valley. Thats a VERY short list. Weve normally gone to some of the smaller quality retailers in SLC, but wanted to try local.I had no idea where to place them in the pantheon of furniture stores. I did not realize it is all semi-custom furniture. We were looking for a sofa, love seat, chair combination for the room attached to the kitchen. It needed to be leather. We very quickly found exactly what we wanted. These days everything is huge pillowed pieces. I dont want the chair to have huge arms 15 inches wide. I want more Contemporary. Clean lines, square edges, comfortable, earth tones. They had it in spades.We chose colors, leather, details. The price was in line with the furniture we were replacing that had served us well for 30 years. It was still as useful as ever, but showed 30 years of use. Weve been thrilled with it for the couple years weve owned it.The top quality leather recliners we got the RC Willey have just been horrible, and are more pleather than leather, despite what we were told. Its peeling. That was 2K down the toilet. Weve just purchased exactly what we want to replace them and they should be here soon.Im a happy camper. The only nit was finding we had choices on foam type in the cushions for the chairs and not being told we had them on the other furniture as well. In the end we found the other furniture was what we would have picked. It youve made it to the end of this, make sure you verify you got to choose everything that has choices.

When you go to the typical furniture store you are limited to a handful of fabrics available on various styles of furniture on the showroom floor - all from different manufactures with questionable types of wood. With Bassett, you decide what style furniture you want - from length, depth, etc. and you are NOT limited to a handful of fabrics. In addition, you are purchasing quality wood furniture that will last! Along with the ample supply of shapes, sizes and fabrics, you also work with a designer. Thanks to Shelly, the designer I worked with at Bassett, my living room and master bedroom are now furnished with quality furniture in the shape, size and colors that she helped me choose. Shelly came out to the house to measure my living room and bedroom space and listened to my likes and dislikes about colors and styles. She then went back to her store and came up with a design plan that included furniture and accessory pieces and where theyd be placed and picked out fabrics for me to start with including area rugs that would complement the space. We met back at the Orem store a few days later and went through her recommendations. Shelly was on target with everything - the size of the furniture, color scheme, etc. My living room and master bedroom look fabulous! One final note - their delivery men were wonderful as well - polite, professional and very patient as I tweaked the placement of furniture while they were still in the house. If youve not checked out Bassett Furniture, I suggest you do - you dont have to settle for questionable quality and limited fabrics from the various manufactures you find in other stores. At Basset you can work with a designer and select from and a wide variety of quality furniture and what seems like a never ending choice of fabrics.

We decided to go to Bassett Furniture to look at their couches as we could not find the exact gray material we wanted for our new living room at other furniture stores. We worked with Keri and she was very helpful. She showed us many different couch designs. We were able to find the exact gray material we wanted for our couches so we decided to order 2 couches instead of one for our large living room. We ended up ordering 4 extra pillows to go with the 2 couches, also. We were in the process of building a house so Bassett held our order for 3 months before building our couches. Bassett also stored our couches at no extra charge for us in their warehouse because our house was behind schedule for completion. All in all we were very satisfied with Keri and the customer service we received from Bassett. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and material on our couches. The 2 delivery guys were excellent also. We have received many compliments on our couches and pillows. We recommend Bassett to everyone who asks where we bought our couches.

Our furniture shopping experience at Bassett in Orem was enjoyable from start to finish. We were pleasantly greeted by a design consultant as we arrived at the store. Toni was awesome through the entire process. She listened carefully to understand the objectives we had to furnish the 4 rooms in our plan. She presented creative solutions and made adjustments to our specific tastes. We werent anticipating her pleasant and proactive approach. She was always prepared when we arrived for our appoints and even made a trip to our home to better understand the layout of our rooms. Bassett was very accommodating to our time frame. They held the furniture for over a month as we were delayed in moving into our home. The delivery service was outstanding. The care the delivery team took in bringing the furniture into the home and setting it up was top notch. We are thoroughly enjoying our family room, living room, dining room and sitting room environment because of the care and personal touch provided by the Bassett team. I am really happy with my Bassett sofa. The fabric is beautiful medium gray with a white fleck. It looks wonderful in my family room. Very clean and crisp. The style of the sofa is simple and classic. It looks modern without being too trendy. I can tell it is high quality and well built. The staff at the Bassett store in Orem were very helpful. I will be going back to purchase chairs for my living room!

I bought awesome furniture at Bassett this November. It all turned up in great shape. Keri and the staff were terrific in helping me day after day with decisions and design options. I just received my Manhattan upholstered queen size bed. It looks beautiful in my room. Sharon helped me choose the lovely fabric after looking at the paint colors in the room along with the carpet sample. It was a pleasure to have someone knowledgeable about the fabrics who could instantly pull out a few choices out of hundreds to make my decision easier. I could have purchased a cheaper version online but I have purchased other quality pieces from Bassett and trusted that I would get a high quality product. We bought our sectional less than two years ago. It was custom and very expensive. It has holes in the stitching, pilling, and the sectional brackets are breaking. We are trying to file a complaint with the company that does the warranty but they are a pain to deal with. Bassett does NOT handle their own warranties! When you pay thousands of dollars for something you expect it to last longer than one year!

I had a great experience at Bassett Furniture. And thats coming from someone who doesnt like furniture stores in general. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They dont come across as pushy at all. The person who helped us was Sharon. She had plenty of great, practical advice which she offered freely in a no-strings-attached manner. She also had a great eye for design, which was much appreciated. Weve been extremely pleased with our purchase and wouldnt hesitate to shop there again.

I bought my couch and chair at Bassett Furniture in Orem over 10 years ago. They are still holding up well and look great! Their furniture is very well built. I am very happy with the service that I got there. It was especially nice to be able to pick my own fabric and contrasting piping. These types of options are not available at other furniture stores. In Dec 2017 I returned to Bassett to replace the Basset Furniture that I had purchased in Dec 2002. How many family room furniture sets can last 15 years? We found the same fabulous service and quality in 2017 that we loved in 2002. We worked with a different designer this time, Sharon. She was accommodating, fun to work with, and knowledgeable. I appreciated her design expertise and experience with fabrics and styles. I have recommended Bassett for 15 years, and I have no reason to stop! The people and the quality of furniture are fabulous!

This was our second experience with Bassett Furniture in Orem. Both times were great! This last time Sharon helped us out. She was super friendly and did an excellent job helping us match colors and fabrics with a print we have. She even helped us pick out a great coffee table to go with our sectional. Shopping at Bassett was a very enjoyable experience. The store is beautiful and the salespeople were wonderful! Keri was our personal salesperson and she was great. We even had an in-home visit by her and the store manager (sorry, I cant remember her name) to make sure the pieces I wanted were the proper scale for our new home. The new furniture is gorgeous! We didnt even shop at other furniture stores because Bassett came so highly recommended by friends. I am so pleased with my furniture, the step-by-step Keri gave us through the whole process and even with the nice guys who delivered and set up the furniture. I feel well treated and well satisfied with every beautiful piece of furniture I bought. Keri checked up with me just last week to make sure I was still happy with everything and my answer is You bet I am!

I recently bought a sofa, chairs, pillows and 2 area rugs from Bassett. Shelly was wonderful in every way, it seemed as though she just got into my head and helped me pull my vision together. I loved working with her! Every time I have come in since she has remembered me. I feel I can call her and let her know what I am thinking about and trust her to be on the look out for the perfect solution! My daughter loved my furniture and has also come in and ordered a few things! I still have a wish list and will continue working with Bassett.....and Shelly! Enjoying our new livingroom! If I were to have a suggestion it would be to have an option of trying out the rugs in home. Furniture that is special ordered I know cant be done, but as a starting point to see how a rug works/feels would be helpful for those of us who are visual people! My daughter actually borrowed one of my rugs and some of my pillows to try out in her home. Once she was actually able to see it, she decided to order it for herself.....and some pillows! What can say about Bassett? They are fantastic! I have been buying furniture from them since the late 90s, early 2000s. The furniture is SO well made and sturdy.My recent experience with Sharon Nielsen at the Orem Bassett store was as awesome as I had hoped and expected it to be. She was full of great ideas and recommendations. When, at first, I couldnt find a fabric that I was happy with, she was able to go right to her stock samples and find the PERFECT color for my couch! I had wanted the couch to match a paint color and two chairs that I had bought from another store. She knows her stuff! She was familiar with the chairs that I had bought and was able to immediately help me choose what I needed to match them. I am so thrilled with this purchase! The sofa looks beautiful and Im already plotting my next purchase. Thanks, Sharon! And thank you Bassett! Excellent quality AND service!

We go to Bassett for the furniture we know we only want to buy once because of the great quality and timeless design. We bought a leather sectional here and have absolutely loved it. Seven years later we returned to buy a big, beautiful dining room table. We came in close to closing just to look and ended up buying the table that night. Sharon was very helpful, and super patient as I debated on the size and finish; we never felt rushed or pressured.

We love the the chair we bought at Bassett. Its got great style but is still very comfy. We love the details of the chair arms and the detail of how the bottom has a nice curve. They thought of everything. Its very good quality in build and fabric. I love it!

We got some really great help from Debbie Mount, one of the decorators who works at the store. Debbie came out to our home and spent time looking, taking pictures, measuring and coming up with lots of good ideas and advice. When shopping for furniture, I look everywhere but always seem to end up purchasing from Bassett. I love their quality, selection and service. I recently redecorated my bedroom and LOVE it! I came into Bassett Furniture several times and to a few different locations looking for the right sectional for our family room. My wife and I searched every furniture store we could find for the right couch with the right dimensions and the right finish. We already had interest in the Mercer but we were hesitant to make the purchase and we put it off for a while because of the higher cost. It wasnt until I stopped in to the Orem, UT store and met Katie that I decided to purchase the couch. Katie helped to encourage me to make the purchase for all the right reasons for needs that we had - not just for some commission in her pocket. She explained the pros and cons about the Mercer along with other sectionals in the store. She was also very personable and in our conversation we found some things in common and she took genuine interest in me and my family and a sensitive situation we were going through. Katie was very genuine, kind and honest... Thats not always what I expect and get from every sales person I interact with. Katie made our purchase a great experience. The sectional was expensive... yes, but the positive experience was well worth it! Go see Katie... She will take good care of you!

Just moved up to the area and needed furniture. After going to other furniture stores walking in to Bassett was a breathe of fresh air. They were very helpful in finding out what I wanted and very patient in going through all their options. I have never loved a couch so much in my life! Worth every penny. Its so comfy and looks great. The only slight down fall would be that it took almost 6 weeks when they told us 4. But delivery was great and the couch is perfect.

We stopped into the Orem store to look around. We are new to Utah and had never purchased furniture before. Sharon waited on us and was fabulous. I usually would rather look around rather than have someone work with us. However, Sharon was not at all pushy. She was patient and showed us all the options that fit our criteria. l was very impressed with all the options we had once we had chosen our couch. I felt like we were getting something that was custom made. Now that the couch and sofa table are living at our house, I am even more pleased. I will recommend the store, Sharon and the brand to my friends. We still want to reupholster chairs and will come to Bassett for advice from Sharon and to look at fabrics. Home Run!!!!

Wonderful experience shopping at Bassett! After wasting money on so much furniture that wasnt just right I went to Bassett and what a difference! Everything I purchased there is perfect thanks to the amazing designers who helped pull everything together! Everyone there is so helpful and easy to work with.

Recently, my husband and I went in to this location to just look at the different options for a bed frame. We had already conducted many online searches, read many reviews, and visited other local/chain furniture stores in the UT valley. Nothing met our expectations. We decided that if we were going to spend $$$, then we wanted the best our money could buy. As we walked in to this Bassett location, we were met with warm greetings. Sharon introduced herself and allowed us to walk around the store. She only approached when she saw we were curious about a specific product and she offered her in-depth knowledge. Sharon ultimately showed us price differences, product details, and explained what styles were more current, etc. She was very knowledgeable and professional. We ended up leaving the store empty handed. We werent quite sure if we wanted to take the plunge. We decided to check out several more local stores as a last ditch effort and it was a complete and utter waste of time. We were met with pushy and aggressive salesmen and overall nasty vibes. Before the day ended, we knew we wanted to return to Bassett and buy our bed frame. With the help of Sharon, the entire purchasing process went smoothly. Weve since received our bed frame and its even better in person than I expected. Im extremely pleased with the entire experience and process and very grateful for the wonderful staff at Bassett.

I have been searching for a large dining table that was well built and pretty for a while. My husband recommended I check out Bassett Furniture, and Im glad he did. There was a great selection of styles, and I even chose the finish/color for my table top and my base. It is gorgeous, and was even better than I had hoped.The saleperson was very friendly and explained my options well. The delivery was professional. The only item that could have been better was more communication of the status of the table when the 6 week time period came and went. The table is totally amazing and I LOVE it!

The customer service was phenomenal! From help with choosing and designing my custom furniture to storing the order after months of delays to our home being completed. My favorite part about my furniture is the amazing custom fabric combinations that would not have been possible without the design expertise of my sales associate. It is such high quality and so comfortable! Within minutes of being shown my custom curtain fabric Sharon already had great ideas and fabric combinations in mind. I am definitely going back as a return customer!

Keri was super helpful helping me pick out a couch and pillows. She thought of everything to help make my purchase fit perfectly in my home. My furniture was finished sooner then expected and Keri texted me throughout the process to keep me in the loop! The 2 men who delivered my couch were also fabulous! took great care to not ding my doorways. They made sure I was happy with my final product and the placement of it. All around great job! We had a great experience shopping for furniture. We loved working with Sharon, and she helped us put together beautiful custom white leather couches. The couches were delivered with care, and they are incredibly comfortable. Weve had a few very minor issues with the couches since they arrived, and the service department has been painfully slow getting back to us and fixing the problem. Things that we contacted them about 2 or 3 months ago have still not been resolved, which were not really happy about, but mostly our experience has been really positive, and we get compliments about how comfortable our couches as well as how beautiful they are.

I was so pleased with my experience with Bassett Furniture in Orem. Sharon was extremely kind and helpful in showing us our different options as we looked to purchase two benches for our dining room table. She explained the process of customizing the finish for the benches and gave us some great options to choose from. We received the benches within the time frame she gave and could not be more pleased. We purchased a custom sofa, chairs and an ottoman. Sharon was very helpful in assisting us with choosing the right style and fabrics. Her service was much better than other assistance and decorating help we experienced when shopping at other stores. We think Bassett furniture is well made and competitively priced. The delivery and setup went very smoothly as well.

I purchased a large sectional and most recently a writing desk from Bassett. The sectional I purchased about five years ago and it still looks brand new. Every time Ive been in the store Ive been treated with respect whether Im ready to buy that day or just looking for ideas. I appreciate high quality furniture that is sturdy and well designed and that I know will age well. Im willing to pay more to get exactly what I want especially if I know it will last. Bassett furniture is wonderful because it is well-made. I purchased a few pieces about four years ago and it still looks brand new. After my divorce, I moved to a new home and I wasnt certain I could afford the quality. But then I met Dana Purcell and I knew I did not want to settle for anything less than Bassett furniture and her professional advice. Dana is a designer who genuinely cares about her clients. Her talent for creating beauty is equal to her ability to listen. I never felt pressured to buy anything, but when I realized she got me, I couldnt wait to get started! It was really fun to see how to arrange my furniture with the computer layout program in the store. I have lived with my new furniture from Bassett for about three weeks now and I can honestly say I am in love with it. The quality speaks for itself and having Dana guide me through the process was a dream come true!

Great shopping experience at this Bassett store! Sharon was fabulous. No pressure sales, so patient and helpful as I picked out fabrics. I opted to pick up my furniture when it arrived and I was a little worried because my trailer was dirty. They had both sofas protected with cardboard and heavy plastic so everything stayed perfectly clean during transport. I was also happy with the timeline that they were complete and ready for pickup. Enjoying my new sofas!

Wow!! What an incredible experience start to finish. We have been looking for the perfect couch for over a year. After shopping at all the large furniture stores we finally stopped at Bassett in Orem. Keri was our designer and she was fantastic she walked us through the process explaining how the couches are made then helped pick out the colors for our couch and pillows. The quality is awesome these couches are so comfortable. We loved that we could design the couches for our home, from color, feet, armrests, cushions and pillows. We received weekly updates throughout the manufacturing process from Keri and couldnt be more happy with our couches.

Weve had a great experience purchasing furniture from Bassett! The furniture has been in excellent shape and excellent quality. Our first purchase, we didnt realize we had to wait 6-8 weeks, so that was a little shocking, but it ended up not being a big deal. Weve had that piece for year and havent had any problems. We recently wanted to add another piece from the same collection, and all I did was call and did it all over the phone. So easy! The second piece matched the one we had bought the year before perfectly. We have been very satisfied!

Some of us are not furniture people. Luckily there are excellent furniture people here who can help those of us who are not. My wife (furniture person) and I ordered a sectional through the Orem location as they were the nearest store to us as we live in Wyoming. This was all done over the phone and through emails but the staff was very precise in their questions and made sure to keep us updated on the progress of the order. After I drove down from Wyoming to get the piece and returned home I was horrified because I thought I had ordered it in the wrong layout after the pieces were unpacked in the house. I called the store thinking about my error and they immediately told me not to worry about a thing, the correct piece could be ordered and I would not have to pay a restocking fee. My wife (furniture person) soon realized that the item was in fact correct and I was not looking at the pieces correctly. I informed the store and they were simply happy that it was correct but reiterated that if I felt it was not that I should not hesitate to contact them. From start to finish we did not felt taken care of and not just another name. The quality of the furniture and especially the customer service made it worth the drive for us.

Not only did I receive five star treatment as soon as I walked in, but Shelly was incredible in her expertise, knowledge, and helpfulness. I found the couch that fit our room with great pricing and quality. When it was delivered today, I was blown away with how much better it was than I remembered -- strong frame, deep comfort, luxurious feel and color, and top of the line reclining technology. Extremely happy with our experience with Bassett Furniture. I have purchased a dining table and chairs, a bench, and my newest purchase a beautiful sectional with pillows. I couldnt be happier with my furniture. Sharon was incredibly helpful and very sweet to keep us informed during the entire process. The delivery was professional and efficient. There is a small stain on one of the cushions and the deliverer treated with cleaner. The stain reappeared and within the hour the service manager had called and sent out a service person to address the issue. I am confident that the issue will be resolved in a timely matter.

I bought a gorgeous table and a matching bench. The bench is in our entryway and gets compliments each time somebody walks in and sees it. The kitchen table is perfect. Its the only table that fits our kitchen that we could find. Its rectangle with two leafs which give it the option of being square or a huge rectangle. The table is so beautiful, functional and built well.The delivery guys were awesome. We had one little problem with the leaf the first time we tried so they sent somebody right over to fix it. Couldnt ask for more.

I came into Basset after a long and exhausting search for couches. I found the most beautiful couch in the store and knew I wanted it right away. There is never any pressure, which is a wonderful change from many other furniture stores.Although buying from Bassett can be expensive, the staff at the Orem store can steer you towards discounted items and upcoming sales, and occasionally you can buy floor models at significant savings. If youre going to Bassett for the first time, dont let the sticker shock scare you away.Highly recommended!

She was so helpful in picking out what fit best in our space and how to put it all together. She listened to us on what kinds of pieces we were looking for and selected exactly what we wanted. Recently we bought two couches, a storage ottoman, and a large kitchen table from Bassett in Orem. The whole process was incredibly smooth. Our sales person Sharon was awesome in helping us select colors and fabrics that would look great in our new home. We love that we could have the custom furniture experience for an affordable price, and the quality that you get in Bassett furniture is excellent. The delivery manager was awesome as well. Our new house took longer than expected to be finished so Bassett held our items until we were ready for them. Then they worked around our crazy schedule for delivery.
