I had a great experience, I had everything laid out, cabinets installed and the kitchen sink bought so we knew exactly what to prep for, Jim was helpful and gave some good advice. I chose a color and the installation happened a couple days later. My wife and I are pleased with the quality, the service, and would recommend them.Couldnt ask for better on our remodel. Pic included.

Definitely do not recommend them. I had some questions and concerns about my countertops and Jim was extremely short, rude and belittling. I don’t doubt that they’re decent at what they do, but their customer service is definitely sub par.

I highly recommend., Did tops for 5 1/2 bathrooms for me and found their prices to be reasonable, their showroom well presented and useful, and their quality of laminate tops be very good.

Great experience. They went up and above what I asked them to do. I had a backsplash and the install guy asked me if I wanted additions to the back splash and I told him I did but that it was okay. The install guy told me he could do it onsite and for free it I wanted him to. He took extra time in making my countertops look beyond what I asked for. I highly recommend this company.

We had an amazing experience. This company is one of the most down to earth, honest companies ive ever dealt with. We walked in off the street with no idea what kind of countertop we wanted. They helped us pick out what would work best for us and it wasnt even the most expensive of the samples we had selected. They kept in touch during our complete kitchen remodel and went above and beyond to get our tops installed with the least amount of time being withoit a kitchen sink. Haha the end result was way better than we thought. HIGHLY recommend this company.

We had a great experience with Big Mountain Counter Tops. The laminate counter was professionally installed and looks amazing. They responded promptly to all my questions and concerns. I decided last minute to put a different sink in and didnt realize it wouldnt fit the space they had cut. I called Big Mountain because the plumber was there ready to install the sink and they sent a guy out immediately. I was so appreciative that they responded so quickly & the plumber was able to install the sink that morning. They cleaned up after they left. Their bid was $200 lower than a competitor. Id recommend them to anyone.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The front desk/office woman was fantastic and extremely helpful when we visited the store but it was all down hill from there. I asked over 6 weeks ago when I was in store to have someone come out and measure our home for quartz. They assured me someone would be calling in the next 1-2 days to schedule the measure. I never received a call.I have since called 5 times and only gotten someone to answer 2 times while I have called during business hours and not once did I receive a return call. I was then again assured about 2 weeks ago that someone would be calling me to come out to my house to measure and it would happen within a few days. I again never received a call.I called again today and talked to the front desk and expressed my continued frustration about not even being able to get someone out to measure my home. She sincerely apologized for my experience but said they are just too busy to even make time to do bids right now. I was then told that I would be better off taking my business elsewhere because they just don’t have the time and I am not the only one this has been going through this recently. It was a vet nonchalant attitude and she made it clear it was an ownership decision to run their business this way which is awful. I am absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service and will never recommend them to anyone. Go somewhere else for your countertop needs!!!

Worst customer service I have ever received. Believe all the negative reviews. They called my wife a liar multiple times, messed up our order and blamed us, broke promisies and told us they call us and get back us to many times to count. Please use a real company not this group of rude, insulting people.

I replaced a 16 yr old laminate countertop, that worked fine, until a faucet gasket failed while we were on vacation. Big Mountain replaced it, and within the first year the drip edge swelled and cracked. They claimed that it was user problems because Jared had installed thousands of these, and none had complained. Ill be the first.Another issue with their pie shaped seem occurred a few months later. When it was originally sold to us, the woman at the counter told us it would be impenetrable. When I pointed out the failure of the seem, Jared blamed our use.I took him out to the garage to see the countertop I had previously (I liked it so much I wanted to reuse it). He then informed me that the edge was different, and that I couldnt expect the same result. He further insulted me by offering to replace the top for half the price. Essentially, they were just fine with me paying 1.5 times the price for the same countertop.I wouldnt recommend these guys at all. They will give you the quote. Theyll leave the sales to the bored woman at the front desk, who doesnt know a thing about the construction process. And when you have a problem within their warranty period, theyll blame you for the problems.Stay far away!

My wife and I recently had mixed experiences with Big Mountain Counter Tops. To first review the good, we came into the office and Alisha was very helpful. She was able to answer all of our questions regarding counters, sinks, styles, colors, etc. The process from receiving an estimate, having our counters measured, ordering our counters, and having the counters installed went quickly and all happened within a 2-3 week period. We love the way our counters look. The sink that was installed looks very nice. The two men that installed the counters were very kind and considerate in our home.There were some things that took place that unfortunately made a good experience difficult. We went with laminate counter tops and we wanted an under mount sink as well. When Jim came by to measure out counters we informed him of this and he said that if we wanted an under mount sink with laminate counter tops that it has to be a Karan sink. We went online and found a nice $184 Karan under mount sink. As time got closer for our counters to be installed, my wife contacted Jim to let him know we have the Karan sink and that we’d bring it in for them to install. My wife was informed at that time that it has to be a specific kind of Karan under mount sink. He informed us that they have some in their warehouse in Salt Lake. However, their sinks are $400 and to install it would cost an additional $200. We went ahead with this process despite the significant cost difference.The installation took place and as was stated before, everything looks great in our kitchen and bathrooms. We began the process to return the original sink that was ordered online. To return the sink, it cost us about $50 to ship it back and another $50 as a restocking fee. We did not feel like we were completely responsible for the miscommunication or lack of communication regarding this sink and so we reached out to Jim to discuss the matter.We called Jim and communicated our concern that he told us to get a Karan sink, which we did, and that now we’ve had to undertake an additional $100 costs as a result of the error in communication. Jim’s response lacked empathy and he stated that he was not responsible for the error. He was not concerned about customer satisfaction. His repeated response was that he told my wife what brand to get and that if she had additional questions to call him.We understand the need to ask questions and we asked as many as we could think of throughout the process. We did not realize that there were additional questions that needed to be asked about the type of sink or we would have asked them. We feel like we’ve been honest with Big Mountain Counter Tops and we’re disappointed specifically with Jim and his response to our concerns. The business approach of telling customers some of the information and arguing that it is the consumers fault if they are uninformed because they did not ask for more is dishonest.Some of the caulk work in the bathroom needed cleaning up as there are gaps and holes that required attention. When the soap dispenser hole was made in the sink, it was put in a spot in which the underside of the counter top was uneven, making it so the soap dispenser does not sit at a level angle on the surface. These details were minor to us though and are things we felt we could deal with, but the dishonesty was not.There are many things that we liked about Big Mountain Counter Tops, but unfortunately this experience with Jim prevents us from recommending others to go to Big Mountain.
