I bought my little brother a bear after waiting a week after the advice of an employee. They wanted him to have the best bear, so they told me that a new shipment came the week after and could have the bear he wanted. When we went back, he found a bear he loved that wasnt there before. The employees were super nice and made it such a fun experience for him to remember and offered extras like a smell that I let him get. It was fun!

I came here to get a gift for my beautiful girlfriend.Dakota was the person working at the time and he was extremely helpful.I had never been there before so I had no idea what I was doing and he was very helpful and patient with me while I was trying to figure out the system.Not only did he answer all my questions if he also let me put 2 photos and a little charm into the bear before he sealed it.Dakota is a phenomenal employee and a downright great person.Highly suggest this location!

Its so fun to watch the kids pick a stuffed toy and watch it get filled with stuffing! I love to watch them hug their new friend.

Today my daughters girls scout troop went into the shop to reward themselves after selling allot of cookies. The Girl Scout Bear was not in stock so that really bummed me out, thats why Im only giving 4 stars. Other than that great experience, great staff. Good job guys!

Took my little one to get the Pay-Your-Age Birthday Bear. Friendly, helpful staff. Kept good hygiene and social distancing protocols (important in a store for kids).Will definitely return.

Awesome store!! I brought in a couple bears that I ordered online that had a couple problems (defective sound, bad stitching) and I brought them in to this store to see if there was anything they could do. They replaced the defective sound and re-stitched the bears with no hassle or problems. Great customer service at this location!! Im very happy!

Its a great place for adult and children. It inspires imagination in all ages.The workers are always so friendly and so involved at help people experience the whole build bear. Some workers more then others.I never had a bad experience thereThe only downfall about the place is all the add on items I really feel like its over priced I feel bad for the children who would like to experience build a bear but its to expensive. It could be more affordable for a bigger range of people.The birthday bear is a really great idea!I wished my son was more into all of it but I think for him it seemed overwhelming for a child with sensory issues. It is bright and loud when a few kids are in there, and so much going on also lines I think it can be hard for them.

We went to build a bear to get our son a bear to replace his pacifier. The store wasn’t too packed, the displays were visually appealing, and the atmosphere as inviting. They had a good variety of pricing in different animals to stuff, which I appreciated. The staff on the stuffing machines were kind to my son and helped make it a fun experience. The accessories are overpriced in my opinion, but that didn’t take away from the experience at all because we weren’t purchasing accessories.

Many years ago this place offered a special and genuine experience. It is now a place focused entirely on up-sale.I recently visited with my 6 and 1 year olds. My 6 year old was so proud “build a bear” and pay for it with his very own money. The attendant was kind and helpful, and once we started the building process she immediately tried to sell my son on an add-on. I delicately explained that we couldn’t include that today because my son was treating himself and had a budget. All would have been well if she’d stopped there. But she didn’t. The attempts to add a sound, a heartbeat, a smell... we’re almost relentless. Then we made it to the check out and it continued on with that representative. It took what was supposed to be a fun and gratifying experience for my son and turned into a guilt trip that he couldn’t afford more.

The workers here are always so friendly. There are very few places like this where you actually feel like you are cared about. Best quality stuffed animals and they will take care of them for as long as you own it.

Build a bear is always a nice place to go, especially the one here at the mall. As far as I could tell, there was only one staff member there when I went and she had a bit of a rush. She was still incredibly patient and kind. She helped attend to us before we had picked out what we wanted too! She was very attentive and I appreciate that a lot. Plus they have some Pokemon running in their stores right now. Id recommend getting one before theyre gone! (They also have special voice boxes for the Pokemon, just ask an employee to scan the tag and they can get it for you)

To say that I had an amazing experience is an understatement. I got to Build A Bear at 8:30pm only to realize I forget my wallet at home (20 miles away). Normally this wouldn’t be an issue and I would just come back another day, but I had a coupon for National Teddy Bear Day - spend a minimum of $15 get a bear free. I was really looking forward to this amazing deal especially since my daughters first birthday is next month. I was sad to realize that their machines were not updated to take Apple Pay, but that didn’t stop an employee from helping me. She graciously offered to pay for my purchase - I would reimburse her via money app. This employee didn’t know me and didn’t have to help me, but she did. This was my first ever experience at Build A Bear and it is one I will never forget. Thank you so much Rach for helping me tonight, I will never forget it and I will be sure to share the story of her first Bear with my daughter. Employees like you are what make this world a better, brighter place.

Take your kids on their birthday (month) and get a bear for the price of their age! They are rediculously cute with the children and have them help with every step of adopting their bear! So fun! I smell a tradition in the making. Until they are 12 then the bear isnt any cheaper anymore.

We always have such a good time at this location. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Our daughter loves coming her with her grandpa and making a new bear!

Always love coming to build a bear for the kids. Prices are reasonable as long as youre okay with naked bears. Outfits can be pricey but they often have multi-bear discounts, promotional bears / dragons / ponies / other animals, and occasionally a half of gift card that lets you buy a $10 gift card for $5 if you spend enough on your bear.

What a great experience for kids and adults! Today is my daughters 6th birthday. We went to the Orem location where we were helped by Hannah! She was absolutely wonderful and made both my girls feel so special! Thank you for a fun memory! 💜

It was our first time at build-a-bear. The employees were super helpful & very patient as our kids took their time to pick out the ‘perfect’ stuffed animal. The Build a Bear at the University Mall in Orem Utah is the best Build a Bear in the world! Why? Because they have the coolest bear selection I have ever seen. Then they fill them up right there in front of your kids’ face. My kid flipped when they actually filled the bear in front of them. Changed the life of my kids! No question!

My daughter loves coming here. Fully customize your own stuffed animal with a variety from typical teddy bear, to star wars, to Pokemon, Barbie, DC, and more. Clothing, accessories, birth certificates...even how firm or soft they are. The options are endless, so no two will ever be the same. Only drawback is price.

Though busy, the BAB technician made us feel like we were the only customers in the store. She knew what she was doing and helped the children have a personal and happy experience. Great people, wonderful product.

I LOVE B-A-B-W! They are a little pricey but the quality and experience is AMAZING! They do have a website and you can chose to order stuffed or unstuffed. I would recommend ordering unstuffed if possible because you get a better experience in-store.

Really love build a bear, but Ive taken my kids to build a bear for years and today, it was a horrible experience. I told the lady we were there because my husband just adopted my daughter and thought it would be fun to have an adoption party. She didnt have anything to say about that so I just thought whatever and moved on to help my kids pick their animals. My husband asked the price of one of them and the same lady said I dont know, and he asked if it was one of the 2 for $35 and she said I dont think so then walked away. We though maybe she went to go check, but she didnt. We asked another worker and she said the same I dont know. He asked her if it was the 2 for $35 deal and she said yes it looks like it is so we handed it to our son and said that he could get it, then she said actually I dont think it is then walked off. ...so we had to tell our son that he couldnt get it cuz that was the deal we were going for. They never even came back with a price. They didnt make anything about the experience fun, and once we got to the register, no one was there and there was a huge line of us waiting. We finally decided to go see if someone could help, then about 5 min later someone showed up. Not at all how I would have imagined it to go for such a special day for my family.

It was fun to pick out a bear, but it was my first time there and I didnt know what to do and no one asked me if I needed help. 2 staff standing around talking. Guy behind till wasnt helpful in explaining things.

Great experience. It was my first time there and I got a sticker and had so much fun. And they didnt make me feel weird that I was geeking out about building my first Pokemon. (Picture was taken when I got home)

First off, my daughter received a Rufus bear from JDRF, which has been such a help for her to adjust to having T1D. We just realized today that Rufus is made by the Build A Bear company. So props to them for creating and donating bears to kids to help them adjust to this life altering disease. We went to the store today to get a new outfit. The staff was really friendly and helped my daughter find what she wanted for her bear. My daughter had a great time.

Brought my 3 year old to make Buddy Bears ( matching bears) for him.and his new baby brother who was in the NICU. This was a special date to help him feel better since I was away a lot at the hospital with baby. He has always wanted to go into the store to make a bear and this was his 1st visit. He was beyond excited. We went in for the a magical experience but the staff was grumpy ( employee filling bear barked at my son to get off the pedal when bear needed repostioning) and acted as if we were an inconvenience.

Helpful staff. We took our daughter there for her birthday and she loved it.

The kids looove picking out their stuffy and putting the heart and stuffing in it! The staff member who helped us was also way fun and nice and had the kids do a series of fun thing with their heart, like give it warmth, give love with a hug, give it fun with a silly dance, etc...
