I had given them 4 stars initially because the worker was very attentive. We went to buy exterior paint for our home. I asked for several days off from work to get this project done, and it was very tiring. I recently come to find out I used a gallon and a half of interior paint before I noticed the mistake. All the work we put into this was a waste of time. I went to the store to let them know they had made a mistake Bruce said he understood my frustration, but all he could do was give me the gallon of exterior paint for a penny and the other 2 paints for 50% off because he couldnt just give away paint. I understand mistakes happen, but they definitely did not make it seem like they cared, or understood my frustration. I would give it zero stars if I could I wont be coming back to this store and will make sure my friends and family dont come here.

Excellent service! I had a custom order that was a little tricky and they took the time to explain very carefully until I understood what they did and why they needed to do it. Since I am not a paint expert, that is the kind of service that I needed and I was happy that they were able to provide that for me. I will definitely be back!

Expensive prices but that comes with the brand. Store is clean and only ever had great experiences. Would recommend.

I waited around 10 minutes at this store to buy some paints but the guys didn’t talk with me and a teller start to help another person that came after me because he was someone familiar. Thank you! You guys made me to remember that homedepot and Lowe’s have good options.

You’re lucky that there are no other paint in Orem, other than Home Depot/Lowe’s. Maybe you should try to at least acknowledge your customers before they sit there for 10min at the register.

Helpful place. I went in need of a few supplies that they didn’t have for sale but when I asked where I could get those supplies they said they had a few extras of what I needed in the back and they went back there and just gave them to me. Great location, very helpful.

Excellent service. Process were actually better than large box stores. I would definitely recommend! Project was a 6,000 SF gym using primer and pearly white satin for the finish ... Total of 10k SF in walls. Loved the way the product came out!

Overpriced paint at the Sherwin Williams Store, you are better suited going to Lowes and buying the Sherwin Willims Showcase paint for $37 a gallon instead of paying $70 a gallon at the Sherwin Williams Store. I asked why their price was so high and the rep said we are an exclusive store so we can basically charge whatever we want. I said thank you and made my way to Lowes. On a positive note the Sherwin Williams Showcase paint at Lowes is absolutely amazing!!! It covers more square feet than the competitors, goes on smooth, finishes great and has a 15 year life rating versus a five year from competitors. Sherwin Williams makes great paint but their store leaves room for improvement.

Didnt even help me when they were just sitting around telling jokes, when I asked for help I was told they were busy. Terrible customer service I immediately walked out as I was disgusted and went a few blocks down the road to the other Sherwin-Williams that is more for commercial than residential and they were very helpful and took care of my needs will never go back to this particular location of Sherwin-Williams.

Im a property manager for a decent sized company that has an account through Sherwin-Williams due to the amount of supplies we need to purchase through them. I was looking for a clear 2 part epoxy that would be used to seal some exposed metal to help prevent rust. I had gotten the name of the product from a contractor and he told me it was sold by Sherwin-Williams. So I went the closest store and asked for the product, they pulled it up in there system and told me they didnt have it at that store but this store did. So I drove across town to pick it up. I walked into the store and talked to the manager and described the product to him and told him what it was being used for. From the start I could tell he was already annoyed and the first thing he said to me after I finished explaining what I needed was that there is nothing that will prevent rust from forming on metal. (true to some sense, metal has to be recoated or maintained more frequently than most other materials but there are definitely products that will last and inhibit rust for a very long time. Even rubbing oil on metal does a terrific job at preventing rust) Besides the point, the manager then spoke very clearly and loudly to another customer after I had walked away to go to another store, that he wished people would just call before they came to the store and waisted time. If anyone above the manager at this store is reading this I hope you do something about the black haired manager at this location. all other stores in this area have very solid reviews but this specific location does not. They were very rude and shameful, did not know what they were talking about, and disturbingly disrespectful in-front of and to other customers. Sherwin-Williams is as terrific store and we will continue to take our companies service there, ( mind you someone who runs a lot of products through you locations) but I hope to see something better from this location due to the fact that they are one of the only stores in my area that carries the product I was looking for and ultimately bought. I wish I could say some more words to that manger but Ill be a bit more respectful than he was to me.

Had them do a custom stain match. They had no idea what coverage was for their stains so I just had them mix a quart. They said it would take 24-48 hours and they would call when it was ready. 5 days later I called them to see what was taking so long, and they said it was waiting there for me. They just never called.Real issue is that the stain is not even close to what I had them match. Take a look at the picture to see for yourself. Both are white oak, one with what I took in and the other is the stain they gave me.

Joseph and Derick helped us get the paint we needed. They were both super friendly and they knew there stuff. Im Grateful that companies and people like this still exist.

The staff was very helpful and the paint color selection is above anything I have seen. They are beautiful!

Are you freaking kidding me!?!?! I needed touch up paint for 3 spots on a wall. The guy spent 20 minutes pushing me for an upscale. I told him no because I had only a few spots that needs touch up. When I came back to pick up my paint theyd mixed the upsale priced paint and charged me almost $100 for 3 quarts. I didnt want that. I just wanted a sample size. I will never buy from Sherwin Williams again. Their employees dont listen and are frankly sexist. Im not an idiot just because Im a woman.

So this is not a review for actual service. However, I had two men show up at my house driving a Sherwin-Williams van, which I was initially confused about since we weren’t getting anything painted. When I answered the door they explained that they found a wallet in Orem and wanted to return it to the owner. It ended up being a family member’s wallet that used to live in our house. I completely forgot to grab their names but just wanted to leave a review and say “Thank You” to those guys! That’s an extremely honest and considerate thing to do for someone. Good job Sherwin-Williams in hiring some great people!

The sales rep was knowledgeable and friendly. He discovered a mistake that I made in my purchase choice and explained a better option that makes more sense for my project.

Went in to get a two part epoxy and the guy was super rude. As I was leaving I overheard him saying that “I wish people would call before they came in to not waste my customers time”. All other sherwin Williams are amazing. This one might be good but there is a guy that works there that is awful.

Called the store today for information on paint and the man who answered was very rude. Will definitely not be going into this store if the workers are this rude over the phone I cant imagine what their like in person.

I will never shop here again. Made a special order. They said it would take a day or two it took almost two months after multiple phone calls asking where is my order. Every time I go into the store there is only one person working the counter and like ten people waiting. I swear it takes twenty minutes just to talk to anyone every time I go there . Have had similar experiences with them in the past. I have been using them for years because of the location is close to my work. From now on I will be traveling to Provo taking my business to Jones paint and glass where the customer service is far superior

About the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.We are getting about 20 gallons of paint from them, and a couple gallons of specialty paint for a home rehab. I asked if they could make up a quart size so that my wife could come in and get it without a wait. he said that too many people ask for that then never get it. I asked if I could pay in advance. He said No. I asked if they are unable to take cards over the phone, and he said that they ARE able to, but that they cant take payment in advance because of auditing they cant have products in the store that have been paid for (go figure... I would have thought that taking a card over the phone would ALWAYS mean someone was paying for something...)In the end the assistant manager, Derrick, just didnt want to make the paint I guess. If I were the owner of this store I would try to teach some customer service mentality to my employees.

Great customer service, if you need paint matched this is the place to go. The employees are always willing to help it only took a few minutes for my paint to be ready the service was so fast I barely had a chance to sit down .

I went to both stores located on state street in Orem, it must have been the wrong day or the wrong time because neither store could help me with a simple order of non-tinted latex glaze and with matching a paint that I had purchased from them before, (I even had the label), even if they no longer carried the same brand, they could have at least offered to color match it, the staff were not customer friendly, even though we do have an business account with them, and from my experiences with them, it seems that they prefer to deal only with painters and not the general public, so unless youre wearing paint coveralls, dont expect them to jump to assist you.

Jake is not willing to go out of his way to make sure the stain is matched correctly. Rex is the only person to talk to there that is willing to help customers out. Its a shame Columbia Paint got bought out by these guys!
