Have always wanted to stop here but never made that turn into their lot. Well I did today and wouldnt you know that old virus had them closed but drive thru was open. Not knowing their items I called them and asked for some basics. Got a dozen meatballs, a quart of Marinara and some grated Romano cheese.Finally getting home I put a couple of the meatballs and sauce to get a taste for my lunch. WOW. Delicious. Even my wife was loving it and shes not a big Italian food person, but Im getting to her.Anyway you guys at Italia Imports rock. Ill be back for sure.

Born and raised in NY - living in Chicago for the past 4 years, I have missed my Italian deli I’ve been going to my whole life and I am sooooo happy I found this place.It’s currently drive thru only and you call your order in. I ordered two subs, was only there about 5 min after calling my order in and everything was exceptional. We loved the spicy Italian sub and Italian beef. I can’t wait for everything to open back up so I can come in and see everything they have.Oh, and they had a sign in the window that they have arancini .... so I’ll be back very soon!

You need to try their pizza set ups and marinara sauce. Its superior to any other Italian store in the area. Its a great family owned business.

Best Italian food I’ve had since my mother passed. Seriously - better than anything I’ve had anywhere (I grew up on the east coast - NY, NJ, MA, etc). God rest my mom’s soul, but these meatballs were better than hers. Sorry mom! I catered a business meeting - meatballs, lasagna, mostaccioli with sauce, etc. I brought some home because I didn’t eat at the meeting. If I had known how good this good was, I would have taken more - much more. I didn’t try the huge pan of tiramisu either. Darn it!! The regret is killing me. I *will be back. If you love good Italian food - I mean LOVE it... come here.

Love these guys, they are family-type ppl and that’s how they treat their customer. I drive to Italia from Plainfield just for their Romano, pastas, Parm and a great deli sandwich piled high. Thanks, guys! -Mac

This store is the place to get authentic Italian food in Orland Park & Homer Glen area. Never had anything that would disappoint my taste buds! They do catering too! Must try subs or take & bake pizza & of course egg plant parmesan(bake it at home too).

Forget subway. Their array of hot and cold subs and sandwiches are delicious. No matter when my son comes home from Tulsa or Maine, he immediately hits Italia for their meat ball sandwich. They sell their meatballs at the prepared section. Plain no sauce so you can cheat and add them to a jar sauce at home. This is also where I buy my prosciutto as they know how to shave it tissue paper thin. Forget our local Jewel who has yet to get it right. They also have pies brought in from a bakery which are outstanding. Worth the visit. This is the only place where you can buy arracina (sic?).

Lovely Italian specialty store run by an awesome Italian family. Great choices of pastas, peppers/olives, cheeses and meats, fresh bread, desserts/gelato, soft drinks, wines and deli items. Have to stop here before almost every family party and its always a pleasure. Stop in sometime!!!

This is a great Italian deli and store in the middle of nowhere well no nowheresville in the suburbs lets put it that way but if you can find it you have to go there it is authentic and Im half-italian so I can tell you Id have to drive to New York City Little Italy to get the same kind of food and attention or in Chicago if theres anything left of Little Italy in Chicago they keep moving it out anyway go there you wont be disappointed its great

There do it yourself pizza kits are great ! used to buy them at the new lenox store before it closed . now we drive from Channahon to the Orland store just for them .

This place is amazing! I cant believe Ive never been before, after 25 yrs living in Orland Park! The sandwiches are fresh and unique. Prosciutto, sopprasatta, fresh mozzarella, etc... You wont find ingredients like this at Subway! They also have a wide selection of homemade salads- try the potato! So far, Ive only had the Roma panini sandwich... Delizioso! Cant wait to try more!

Pre made salads are delicious, lunch meats and cheeses are always fresh along with the bread thats delivered daily. If you order a sub sandwich for $10 you can feed 3 people, the best.
