I called because I needed to buy a wheel lock for my car as soon as the young lady answered the phone and I told her that I needed to order a part for my car she proceeded to tell me that they did not have anymore available until late November(Not surprising they never have any appointments). I told her again what I was calling for and she transferred to the parts department I told him what I needed and I told me what I needed I could not order from there because it needed to be custom made for my car. I ended up going to another Chevrolet dealership and they were able to help me.

Communication and service was great. I wish the receptionist who I spoke to when scheduling my service would have clarified that my appointment was to drop off my vehicle and the current wait time for a technician to assess my vehicle was 5 to 7 days. I was under the impression that my vehicle would be seen by a tech during my appointment and most likely serviced the same day. I was frustrated and caught off guard to find out, while I was there and my kids were home with a sitter, that I would have to leave my vehicle for an estimated week with no options for a loaner car. Aside from that, George was wonderful to work with and the gentleman who provided the courtesy ride home was a pleasure.

One Word: Horrendous. Carl Black has had my vehicle in for WARRANTY lifter and CAM replacement for a month since the issue was originally brought to their attention. Every week since it was delivered I have been told that the vehicle will be done by end of week. I had to physically go down to the service department to check on the vehicle as none of the service managers would return my message left with the receptionist. The most recent updated is that the service Manager previously assigned to my vehicle is no longer with the company. Not surprising as he probably had trouble sleeping at night after having to provide information to customers knowing fully that what was being promised is not what will be delivered!

Alex did a great job and the service seemed to go well. I am concerned that I had a recall that they knew I was coming in for but they didn’t have the parts and I’ll have to come back. Also concerned that I needed a diagnostic for a check engine light, which they identified but they couldn’t tell me if continuing to drive the vehicle until I can get it back in next week will cause any damage to the vehicle. Those are important facts to know when determining the priority in my personal budget.

Josh Crittle was outstanding! We arrived at the dealership close to closing just to look around. Josh took the time to answer all of my questions and encouraged us to take a test drive. He explained the Carl Black process. Unlike other dealership, Josh made us feel welcome and our business was important. We had a follow up with Matt Miller the Sales Manager “The Numbers Man” Matt didn’t pressure us at all. I really appreciated that. He listened to what I had to say and explained the current market. That kind of help me feel like I wasn’t overpaying MSRP. This was very important to me as a buyer in today’s market and economy. This two man team took me from shopping around looking for a great deal to making a purchase. I had an issue with my last visit and I received a call stating that they would escalate my issue within the dealership and I would get a call back. ABout a week has gone by with no call-back.I have 2017 Buick Encore that I purchased new. Since then I have had to replace the computer module, parts for the air conditioner, battery, and I have a broken key fob that went in twice for repair and it never got fixed. In addition, I have taken the car in for service three or four times to resolve issues (noises) from the front struts and I still cannot get the dealership to resolve. My last visit to service cost me no car for 10 days which very little got repaired. Someone please tell me why I should buy a Buick again?

Brought in a truck tail lights not working on one side figured it was the bcm and asked them to diag / install the new one if the problem. $372 later new one installed same problem ridiculous.. I didnt know I had to tell the service people to diagnose a problem .. I made it clear that the marker lights was the problem

My vehicle has been droped off for a warranty service on Monday at 10 am. Service adviser told me he will keep me updated on a status. No call, the next day I had to call and to fine out the car havnt been diagnost yet, but no status yet! Very dissapointed with their service. Didnt have any loaners! If theyre keeping the vehicle for days, weeks at the time, it will be a great customer service to provide that service, you had it before, what happend. I have been a customer since 2014 and this service was provided. Customers need their vehicles for their daily lives, why is a inconvenience with a brand new vehicle!?! To have any warranty work done, I bet paying jobs are their prority. Service with Carl Black has gone down hill, prove me wrong.

I just had the pleasure of working with Leonard Willis who may very well be the best, most direct, honest, and hard-working salesperson I have ever met, in any industry (let alone the car business)! I was fortunate enough to have very amazing timing as the 2021 Blazer I wanted was literally just coming off the carrier. From the moment I arrived, Leonard was professional, honest, helpful, and direct (all traits I really appreciate in someone selling me anything, particularly something as expensive as a new ride).Leonard even ended up rolling up his sleeves and helping the detailers get the car ready! I definitely wasnt expecting that and while I told him it was unnecessary that I was fine waiting, he really wanted to make sure the car was delivered as soon as it possibly could and be 100% perfect (which it was). Just bought a 2021 Colorado truck and my husband loves it. Because of the chip issue we have to wait a few months to get exactly the model we wanted. I told them I needed my key programmed on my Pontiac. Should have been a 30 min job. 3 hours later they came out with a list of other problems with my car, which they had no business checking. The computer for the keys is under the dash. They didn’t need to check the brakes, under the hood or anything else. They told me the bill would be 5000, and they couldn’t fix the keys. I denied all the other repairs but still had to pay 170 and still have an unprogrammed key.

I always hate buying a vehicle and with inventories what they are now shopping was difficult. Carl Black had the truck I wanted in stock so I drove 2 hours from Tampa to come and look at it. The staff was amazing. Jack Cherelus did a great job working out a fair deal for me and working within the limits I set. I was pre-approved through me bank, but Josh was able to get me a better rate. Great buying experience and I would recommend them to my friends even with the drive.

My car was not ready when promised, wasnt even looked at until 3 days after the promise date. Had absolutely no communication, I had to call everyday to get no update. Once they finally looked at it, parts had to be ordered and I now have to go back.UPDATE 7/19: Ive returned to Carl Black now that my parts are in, Alex (my new service advisor) did a great job. He kept me updated on the status of my vehicle, was very open with communication and ensured everything was working properly. (I was also informed my previous advisor is no longer there)

First time buying a car and these people will lie to you. Telling you buying used is the same as buying new. That they cant take credit cards even though we just asked them. Oh! Your debit card didnt work? Yeah we will take credit. Cleaned the car but I still see glitter between the seats and that was not us. We really needed a car and shame on us for letting these people know. Please be careful here.Adding this in 9/29/21You say that you would like me to call the store and talk but I already mentioned this to the customer service manager. To which I was told it is what it is.... You guys got your sell and dont seem to care about the customer after its done.Really be careful buying here. When an appointment is made and I show up on time only to be told there are others in front of me.I have owed many cars and dealt with many dealers never after service was done given my auto back dirty, for the over two hours I had to wait for an oil change and tire rotation they could have at least cleaned it.

I was looking at a specific truck, and was speaking with a woman online about coming to look at it. After ensuring the vehicle was there multiple times I drove a fair distance to get there. I arrive on the lot and was greeted by Manny. I told him what I was there for and he went inside to get a manager. The manager informed me they don’t have that vehicle in stock even though I just confirmed it an hour prior. He proceeded to have manny show me other options around the lot, and once again manny did a great job trying his best to find something suitable for me. We can across a truck that must have been traded in and it was the exact truck I wanted. We went inside so he could see if the manager could get more information about it. The manager came back and toldMe it was too expensive. I asked what it meant by that and he repeated it was too expensive. He never discussed what I was willing to spend on the truck or anything, and I found that a bit rude. After being told that, and being misinformed on the original vehicle I decided to leave. I had a great purchasing experience getting my new GMC Sierra from Carl Black. I rolled in 20 minutes before the dealership opened and ran into Michael Elder. He hadnt even finished his breakfast yet but graciously and immediately took me around the lot to find a truck. I told him what I wanted in a truck and what I wanted for my trade and we made it happen without too much back and forth. Total waste of time!!! I went to the dealership after speaking to an sales manager on the phone and texting back and forth about how much I’m willing to spend on a lease. I told him I want an estimated price before I even think about coming to the dealership. What I originally discussed with the sales agent and the pathetic offer I was given shows how much this establishment loves to WASTE TIME!! Instead of giving potential customers a runaround have your sales team be honest!!I should not have been told that I get no incentives because I’ve never leased before. If that was the case the sales rep on the phone should have clearly mentioned that!! Will never return to this establishment, you’re better off leasing a Lexus or Toyota.

I purchased a used car from this dealership ON 6/6/2021. The sales person was Juan. While he was selling me the car, I mentioned a few items I saw wrong with the car. Two weather strips needed to be fixed, and the exterior/interior was to be fully detailed. Juan advised to bring the car back for detailing and they would also repair weather strips. When I get to the service center 2 weeks later, they did a horrible job cleaning the car and they refused to fix weather strips. Needless to say I was upset and no one tried to help me with the matter. After about a month the air conditioner stopped working. I took the car to the dealership and they sent me a long list of items that need to be addressed. The evaporator core is messed up and they want to charge me almost $2400 to fix and steering wheel for $208. I cannot believe that I paid over $27k for this vehicle, Im already having issues, and I havent even made my car first car payment. The salesman lied and the used sales manager refused to help. I am now waiting on the used sales manager to call me back regarding all of these issues. I know you take a chance buying anything used, but come on this is ridiculous. Not to mention they also said I need a cabin air filter, engine air filter, & replace wipers. I mean shouldnt these items have been addressed before they sold me the car...Needless to say I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership, and I will find another one to have my car serviced from here on out #worseexperienceeverwithadealership.In reply to the business response, i don’t have my car back from service. I was told my A/C would be fixed. None of the other items have been handled as you state in your reply.

Be careful here and do your homework.I recently took my 2018 Buick Encore to Carl Black because the lease was ending and they had expressed an interest in appraising the car. I made an appointment with Matthew Miller on Sat May 8th. Mr. Miller was very nice at first. When the appraisal was completed we were asked to sign their tablet confirming the mileage. I did, and the appraiser left for the sales office. Mr. Miller and the appraiser returned and told us that they spoke to our leasing company and the buy out price on the car was $21,000. They appraised the car much lower than that and stated that the only option that was to turn in the car and pay the disposition fee. This sounded fishy so I asked to just leave. Mr. Miller then informed me that I had already signed over the car to them after the appraisal. I fought with them to get our car back and eventually they reversed the signature they received by flat out lying to me. Monday I took the car to another dealership and found out that our leasing company wasnt even open on Saturday making the entire premise explained to by Mr. Miller at Carl Black a complete lie. They were just trying to steal the car for as little as possible.Luckily, we were not scammed by Carl Black this time. Bottom line is they are just like all the rest and will try to take advantage of customers whenever possible. I will never do business with Carl Black ever again.

My response is based on service, not sales. For service, my first experience was not great. I made an appointment to bring my truck in for a basic oil change and tire rotation- they didn’t have any availability for almost 2 weeks. Then when I dropped my truck off Mon at 8am, I learned it wasn’t even assigned to a technician and it would be Wednesday before they could start the work. No one told me this in advance. When I brought it up to my service advisor, he said “I’m just an Indian.” And he’s told the schedulers to tell customers this but they don’t listen. Wow. Just Wow. He seemed rather unhappy with his job and left me feeling like I may not want to continue to have my truck serviced there in the future. My stars were given because they gave a great portal to see the status of your vehicle, quotes for work and you can even pay in advance through the portal - I loved this!!! Too bad their customer service left something to be desired.

Honestly, this was by far the best car dealership experience I ever had. Jack was polite, professional and understanding. Jack found out I was a vet and put me in contact with the GM (Omar) who so happens to be a retired vet. They both were exceptionally patient with our requests and they went above and beyond to make us happy for us to seal the deal. Highly recommend this place and highly recommend talking to Jack! Tell him your situation and he will do what he can with the other staff members to help you. It may take a while lol but he and they really came through!

This dealership ALWAYS puts the customer first and today is no exception. My car would not start this morning and I had to reach out to roadside assistance for a jump for my vehicle. While waiting for roadside assistance, I called the dealership on a Friday to notate that I would need to come in and potentially get my battery replaced (which is still under warranty). Not only were they able to get me in once I arrived, they also made time for an oil change which was due shortly. They delivered the vehicle back in the time frame promised (and actually a half hour sooner). I was able to remotely work in their waiting area while I waited for my vehicle and I continue to be a happy customer. I can guarantee that if I choose to purchase a GM/Chevrolet or another Buick vehicle - this dealership has my business without question. Thank you Carl Black for taking care of your customers.

Manny Brinson was our sales consultant and Rameer (sp?) Was our finance manager. Both were super friendly and helpful. MANNY!! He was very friendly and laidback, patient and informative when showing us the different vehicles. He knew what we were looking for and showed us a few vehicles that fit that description and was very transparent in all of the perks and comparing/contrasting the vehicles. I’m so glad we had him and we will definitely request him if next time we buy a vehicle form them - Rameer too! Please be very wary of these people. They hounded me for a week to come to their location to secure a vehicle. Made an appointment got there only to find out the vehicle I wanted was never in route. Made a hour drive with the family for nothing. Then they call me back on my cell tell me to turn around they had other ones I would like but then said if I wanted to buy a car from them I had to use their financing. The definition of bait and switch. I will never buy from them.

Was willing to travel from far to do a deal but the multiple people I talked to (salesman and sales manager) were extremely difficult to deal with and very unrealistic with the deal and pricing. For the past month I have been in search of a new truck (4x4, crew cab, leather, grey exterior) and my wife and I have been to numerous dealerships finding a bad experience at one of the dealerships. After getting the run around from other dealers, my neighbor told me how he had a buddy who worked at Carl Black so I looked on their online catalog and found the perfect 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss for me. I called the contact that my neighbor gave me who happened to be one of the managers Alex. Alex let me know that the truck was still in transit from Jacksonville but they would contact me once it hit their lot.Alex ended up transferring me to one of his truck specialist Jeffery Johnson who was a class act who started to set up paperwork on the truck for me before it even arrived to help us out. On the 15th of January I got a call from Jeff saying the truck was there and ready to be test driven and I sent in the information along with photos of my trade in for them to get together an appraisal.As soon as my wife and I showed up to the dealership Jeff was waiting out front with the Trail Boss and as soon as I finished driving it, I fell in love with the vehicle. We then walked inside where Jeff had all initial paperwork and fair appraisal ready for us were we knocked out a great deal in a short amount of time all the while Jeff kept us laughing with his charismatic and natural appeal. Jeff then took us into financing with Rakeem who within an hour, made the financial side of all of the purchase extremely transparent and smooth.All in all, Jeff, Rakeem, and Alex showed great class and made the purchase of my dream truck an easy two hour process. I will always refer friends and family to these gentlemen and thank them for their service.
