The store has lots of great items for bakers, party planners, caterers, anyone whos planning an event. They carry items from cups and plates to fondant and cake trays. Lots of goo stuff, however I definitely find their selection limited compared to previously. Not sure if that is due to Covid? But, definitely worth checking out!!!

THE BEST bakery supply store in Orlando! I’ve come here for business needs since opening my bakery 4 years ago and I haven’t gone elsewhere since. Incredible prices and amazing staff. I’ve purchased chocolate coloring and they immediately caught on to me purchasing the wrong coloring and told me before I paid for my item. Extremely helpful and always willing to go out of their way to help you.

Good Baking stores are hard to come by but I am lucky enough to live near this hidden treasure. D and G has been around for a while but the recent changes have transformed this store into a true gem. The products and variety of D and G makes this a one stop shop. Personally speaking, I love all the Baking Supply Ingredients, Chocolate Molds, Chocolates and Cake Pans they offer. They also offer a wide assortment of Party Supplies and really beat out Party City any day. D and G has the largest supply of cake supplies and baking supplies in Orlando but what makes me really come back is the customer service. From the minute I walk into the store to the minute I leave I am always asked how I am doing or if they can help me find something. D and G chooses to be my Cake Supply Store just like Publix chooses to be my Grocery Store. Special shout-out to Francine and Kalvin for always going above and beyond and helping me every time I shop!

It was a wonderful experience with the cupcake decorations. We forgot our recipe but we hope she will remember and send them too us. My daughter, granddaughter and I had a fantastic time and could have gone a little longer. Her personality was awesome.

This is a absolutely great place to shop for anything cake related. From specialty flavoring, colors, and decorating. Party supplies, candles, totally stocked and organized. Absolutely worth a look!!

The store itself has a lot of things to offer however, customer service sucks. The people that work there looks like dont want to work at all. They have a bad attitude like you shouldnt be asking a thing to them because they wont care to solve your question. This store is near where I live but to be honest I rather going to a further store in which I will find same products and have a better service and is actually worth buying. A store shouldnt be like this I hope their manager or owner can read this reviews and do something about it. I wouldnt recommend going there.

Fantastic well kept secret for all of your party needs. Literally any size, shape, or color cup, plate, napkin, or any other supply you may need for any kind of party, wedding, birthday, etc. you will find at D & G. Always come here for any little detail that I’m missing for any occasion and I never leave empty handed. Selection is top notch, don’t be fooled by small appearance outside because it’s actually very big inside. But what puts this place way above everyone else is the people who work here. Excellent old school service that makes all the difference.... Way to go D & G, more retail locations should take note how it’s done!

This place is a waste of your time. the ladies at the front desk are very very rude. they do not like you asking a question is very frustrating. this is my 2nd time and both times I have experienced the same attitude towards customers and by reading other reviews means is something that happens frequently. I had to go for necessity but I would never ever go again because I am a customer buying a product and is just NOT the way you threat your customers. Bakers world is a nice store even though is on the other side of the city but it is worth buying. so just a suggestion from someone who have been there DO NOT go.

Great place - they have so much stuff!!!! Went in for supplies for cocoa bombs and left with tons of goodies!!! Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful!

Shopped in this store, the assortment is very good, a large selection, but the service is just awful. The ladies at the front desk speak very rudely, if I dont call something quite correctly, this does not mean that I do not need help and if I do not speak their language, this also does not mean that I cannot buy what I need in your store. If your store loses some customers, its only because of the lady at the front desk. Please pay attention to this. Only one guy helped me find what I needed and explained everything correctly. I really hope that the next visit to the store will be more pleasant, and if not, then you will have to look for another store.

Excellent place to find all related with cake decorations

I only come here because theres no other store that sells what they sell. But if there was, i would never return. The employees treat you like you done exist. You have to try and find it yourself or just suck it and ask for help. When they treat you like you dont exist, you normally just keep searching until you find it. Someone else opening up another store like this with better customer service would put them out of business

The macaroons class was AMAZING, Ms Lucy is an outstanding coach an teacher. We were 6 in the class, all following protocol for Covid19 and serve safe; it was all the time enforced. In the class it was one person that don’t understand to much english and another one that don’t speak spanish, the rest was bilingual. She was so patient and making sure that we all understand, she above and beyond. The store manager and the employee that was closing the store on 3/8/21 were very professional and friendly. I cannot wait to take another class, it’s my mental health therapist. I did not feel overwhelmed. You don’t need experience for certain classes they will guide you. And for that class I bring my purse, pen and my notebook, they supplied the rest. I do recommend 💯 % taking class with Ms Lucy. Hopefully seeing you soon. Blessings keep safe. I agree with the comments about how their customer service is awful! I made an online purchase and I can say that was the first time and the last time I will ever buy from them. They sent me items that I did not order, just switched them out without notifying me. When I sent an email letting them know, I never received the courtesy of a reply! I will never do business there. I’ll take my money and business elsewhere!

They have everything you could think of when it comes to baking and cooking. Ingredients, containers, packaging, lables,decorations etc. Its always my first choice. And the staff is very nice.

I love how this place has everything related to cakes. I barely leave reviews but I really had to point this out since my wife and I are weekly costumers from this store, the costumer service from the lady with short hair and the tallest lady that work there is awful. They are very rude and instead of greeting you when you come in they look at you from head to toes like if bothers them when you go in making you feel uncomfortable. Other than that the rest are very nice and helpful.

The woman’s at the cashiers are very very rude!! Always very happy with the customer service and variety of products. I live in Florida and always get my shipments the very next day. I’m even able to call in when I don’t see something online and they will find items for me.

Horrible!!!! I’ve been there 3 times and my first time was sadly horrible the women are so rude and the older lady there was so rude my first time talking to me loudly in front of customers about a mask and put me out, she wasn’t even polite about anything remind you it was my first time in the store she made me and my children feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable.. my second time was a little better and today was my 3rd time in there and they treat anyone who isn’t their race differently and I say that because I walked around and observed them and how they talk and walk around I felt followed and after just walking around for awhile and then when checking out the lady up front asked us to move away from a Spanish customer I guess we was to close but she didn’t ask the other Spanish customer to back away from us.. Really it’s how they handle the situation at hand Which is UNPROFESSIONAL

When I lived in Orlando I spent a lot here, every cent well worth it. They really are a wide range store. Candy molds, boxes, cake pans, even carnival style food frozen. Need toppers for a fishing theme cake? Come here. Amazing selection of toppers. The bridal supply section is well stocked. And cookie cutters to meet any need. Check this place out!!!!

Ive been coming here for years, a kid in a candy store! This place is just chock full of items, everything you might need for baking/candy making- to baking pans and decorations. Their prices are fair. I get so many ideas from browsing the isles, I hate to leave. Im actually on my way there right now for some halloween supplies-and ideas 💡 .

Love how many things there are to choose from here, they have all your party needs and so much more, great for shopping supplies for a bakery/cake enthusiast, with containers and boards galore, not to mention the cake toppers and tools needed for the job. A bit of a weird set up in there, but youll love looking through all the aisles.

I love this store they have most of what I need every time I go and if they don’t they do recommend someone that does and they are always so friendly and nice and so eager to help especially the manager . I was there just yesterday and needed a hummingbird cookie cutter and they helped me with cutters that I could turn into a humming bird because they had discontinued those and I took their ideas home and I made the perfect hummingbird cookies . When I walk in the door they always remember me and greet me with smiles and warmth that makes one feel welcome. Always go beyond being helpful.

I was glad Publix advised me to use this place for my cake edible! I found many other unique little party favors reasonably priced and my edible looked perfect and tasted great! The group was entirely impressed!

I love going to this place! I am just starting my cottage food law baking business and this is my place to shop. Their prices are competitive to Amazon and I like that I can get hands on at the store to know exactly what I am purchasing. The one thing I did notice, is that some of the prices were wrong (boxes by the package didn’t match the single price) and I had to verify with the manager and he quickly fixed the issue. Love this place!

Three and a half years ago I was asked to bake my sisters wedding cake. This was the first time I would have such pleasure and responsibility. Id never baked a cake with 6 layers. Therefore I didnt have the baking pans needed for this job. I went to D&G Occasions and was in Bakers Paradise. They had every pan size imaginable, every food coloring color I could think of, and the prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed my time at the store and vowed to only shop there for my unique baking needs.

I have been shopping at D&G for the past 6 years as I have a small bakery business out of my home. After buying supplies for a wedding a last month, I realized that I was missing the bottom to a box which I purchased. When I was in today, I asked if I could get another box bottom. The owner had one of his toadies tell me NO, it is your responsibility to make sure you have all of your items! You are willing to lose a customer over the bottom of a cake box? WHAT A JERK! I have been a steady customer in that dumpy little store for 6 years, and you dont value your customers more than that? Like Im running a scam looking for the bottom of a cake box?? ! Unbelievable. The owners are small minded and petty, and not all that nice. I have long called it the HOUSE OF NO because no matter what you ask, the answer is always no! This was so simple, I didnt really expect no! They arent kind or helpful to customers, I will no longer shop at D&G Occasions.

Lots of supplies for baking, decorating, and parties. There are lots of items hard to find anywhere else in Orlando. Prices are reasonable. Staff is never very helpful, but its fun to wander around and check out everything anyway. Store is not really visible from road, but Google maps gets you there just fine.

This is one of the few great locally owned businesses left. I go here whenever we need any cake or party supplies. They have chocolate molds, commercial cleaning supplies, cake decorating and flavored fillings, tons of balloons and wedding stuff, the list goes on! I love this store and have been going for years!

Love all the unique cake decorating stuff. They have the best selection of candy molds I have ever found. Great selection and good prices. Knowledgeable staff to answer questions too.

Walking in the store, it seemed overwhelmed with people and miscellaneous items. Although, after a while searching around, I was highly impressed by the tiny little details that they put throughout the store to help customers find the items that they required. The store has anything you could imagine. From weddings to birthdays, even graduation party supplies. They can even do edible images for cakes which will come in handy later on.

There is a wide variety of products and good quality. The price is a bit higher than others but it is not an obstacle. Unfortunately in the cashier it was rude and a bit rude when we asked for an additional bag to protect a product. Thank goodness that his work colleague agreed to resolve the situation

One of Orlandos best baking supply and party stores! I ran across this gem a few years ago when searching the internet for specific things to create a cake, and they have been my go-to spot ever since. With their always friendly and helpful staff, convenient location and large selection of pans, utensils, decorations and ingredients, I highly recommend D & G Occasions.

The return policy needs improvement. They have one board hand written for their refund policy . It is not placed for customers to see clearly. Its placed strategically so that you dont observe their store rules sign. Especially, if you are paying from the other register WHICH has no hanging sign to observe. You need to make it clear to the customer before she leaves the counter or stamp it on the receipt as they are paying about NO REFUND POLICY. Thankful it was only a small purchase.

This store has anything you need to run a bakery or make an awesome cake. The most awesome thing was the 3D printed fondant cutters for all sorts of characters and shapes.

When in today to pick up the personalized napkins I ordered. They were not the font size I ordered. I spoke to a so called manager and was told sorry but nothing they can do. She said you picked the font. I said I did but its not the font size I picked. She said the font only comes in one size based on the font. I said its not my fault the girl taking the order didnt know that. They care nothing about customer service or training employees. They only care about making money !!!!!

D&G is a great place to get catering, event, party, packaging & baking/candy supplies. Too much to write about. Worth a visit.

The place is ok for having lots of things you can use for an occasion. But their return policy is one of the worst I have seen in this day and age. Barely anything is returnable. So you better be sure of exactly what you need before you get there. And read their return policy ahead of time. Because it is not consistent with almost any place of a similar scale.Anything remotely edible is non-returnable as soon as you walk out of the store irregardless of whether the item was opened or not. It doesnt matter if you made a mistake and got the wrong product.In my case, we took a bottle air brush color that I wanted to give to a cake maker to use. But they could not. Therefore, we attempted to return the untouched/unopened bottle to D&G within 30-40 minutes of having bough the bottle, because we have no use for it.So, imagine our dismay now that we are stuck with a 12.99 bottle of food coloring spray that we have no way to use.Check their return policy before you touch anything. For a better experience, I suggest you go to a larger arts and crafts, or party supply store.D&G Occasions should train their employees to remind clients who buy things like cake decorations (which are food) that it is not returnable. I cant be the first person to find this a miserable experience.

I drove almost 45 minutes to shop at this store after my wife read about it on the internet. I could not believe the assortment of products. My wife sent me for some last minute molds she needed and they are probably the only place that had them in stock. Prices were great and I received great customer service. I think if the others who have left negative reviews would have read the clearly posted signs that are located all over the register area- they would not have problems. I will definitely return and would highly recommend them to others.

Worst return policy, bought 2 baking pans, never used them and went to return them and I couldnt, even with the stickers on. Staff is rude and when you ask a question it seems like they are bothered, prices are high too
