Very professional sales person and was very helpful with finalizing the contract. He acted quickly to set up my alarm system as I was supposed to leave the same day I finalized the contract. The person who can by was very knowledgeable and detailed oriented. So far great experience.
Great company. I have used them for three of my homes and I have never had a problem. Great service and excellent technicians. I am happy to recommend Crime Prevention services and trust them for the protection of my homes.
Don’t recommend go with another company. Worst customer service ever!! Took them 5 months to come to my home to get things set up there was an issue and they said they will help and 4 more months without hearing from them. Then I received a letter threatening to sue if I don’t pay when they haven’t even called me.Call to talk to find a resolution and they just brushed us off they were not accountable for their mistakes. Again don’t recommend !!
Initially they started out wonderful, but you cant get rid of. and thy keep asking you for money. I had them install an alarm with a home I had built and the agreement was that they monitor it for 3 years. My 3 years ended in January 2021 and I asked them to cancel my service 3 times now and they ignore my requests and continue to bill me. They were a great company, but this activity of them reaching into my wallet when I no longer want to do business with them is no different then they breaking into my home and stealing from me. How ironic for an alarm service. Use caution when working with them. They are small and hungry for your money. I see a lot of people with similar complaints I suggest that we get together and file a class action lawsuit against them as it seems to be a business practice of theirs . Bill Jones.

Had no choice but to go with CPSS. Also had to sign a 3 year contract and when we moved out after 2 years, they continued to charge us monthly after we asked for a final bill. We asked more than once to cancel the contract and let us pay the rest of what was owed on the contract, but that never happened.If you have the choice, do not go with this security company.
Crime Prevention has been protecting my home for the past 4 ½ years. The team is incredible and the service top notch! When the equipment needs to be serviced or updated, the technician is professional and respectful of my home. I recommend Crime Prevention without hesitation!
I have never been more dissatisfied with a company. I’ve been trying to cancel service for over a month now. First, they wouldn’t accept verbal cancellation from me (my name is on the card that pays for the service), it had to be my husband. Then he signed a form that was emailed back. Two weeks later, I decided to call and double check that it had been received bc I just had a feeling about it and come to find out they had it but had never posted it to our account. And now, here I am still trying to cancel and avoid further charges. I had to explicitly request confirmation of termination of services bc they refuse to do their jobs appropriately.Do yourself a favor and go with any other service.
We were practically forced to get their service because of Ryan Homes contract with CPSS (which ended shortly after we bought our home). Their equipment is very outdated and far too expensive. They didn’t respond to the only 3 issues we had so we went with another company. The contract buyout from CPSS is more than it should be and no one there will correct it. Horrible service throughout!
I never leave reviews but seriously this is by far the worst company I have dealt with in Orlando. They sell you the cameras and system but have zero follow through with customer service. You constantly have to leave messages with their answering service who *may or may not call you back*. Its SUCH a headache having to call a company every single week to fix your system or issue.I got this through a builder in my first home and seriously regret it. If you are reading this - DO NOT sign up. Everything seems peachy keen at the beginning but the company is super shady and unreliable. Seriously. Save yourself the headache, there are better companies out there.
CPSS installed a security system in our home in Kissimmee FL in August 2018. After the close of the home, we reached out to CPSS and were provided with information to access the online account. The security system never worked, we never used the system and we never received a bill for services. There were several time that we had our smoke detectors go off in the house, and the alarm was never activated. After several months of the system never being used and a bill never being received, we basically forgot it was there.We placed the property up for sale in August of 2019. Our realtor asked us to obtain the information for the security company to make it available to the purchasers of the home. We tried to contact CPSS to get the information on the system to provide to our realtor. We left several message, and never received a return call. Once our home went under contract, we again tried to contact CPSS. My husband spoke to someone who told him out account was never activated, so there was nothing to cancel. This made sense, since we never received a bill the entire time we lived in the house. We closed on that property in November. In February of 2020 we began receiving emails from CPSS after the new home owner contacted them to inquire about set service. CPSS state’s we were still under contract for an additional 2 years. I reached out by email and received a response from saying they would look into it and get back to me. We didn’t get another response. In April 2020 I received another bill for CPSS. I called CPSS and was told the billing supervisor would call me back. I never received a return call. Finally, I made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. The day CPSS received the complaint, I received a call from a woman with the company. She was RUDE and Completely unprofessional! She would not listen to anything said about the situation. She refused to take any responsibility for the company never truly activating our account, and never sending us a bill. When I commented on the smoke detectors going off but the alarm never activated, she then told me that we didn’t PURCHASE the additional equipment for that to work! (Never knew that!) I told her that if we would have received a bill when we lived in the house, we would have addressed the problem of the service at that time and not a year and a half later. She insisted that it was OUR responsibility to reach out to THEM to let them know that we had never received a bill. (Funny that they sent a bill a year and a half later). She could not provide an answer when asked why we were told by their customer service representative that our account was not activated. As the call continued she become more rude and more unprofessional, until I finally had enough and hung up on her. I have NEVER had such an unprofessional experience with a company before! I DO NOT recommend this company to ANYONE. They company has non-existent customer service and they have no idea who has an account with them. Absolutely HORRIBLE!
We have our sounds system and alarm system through them. The sales person was great of course. the customer service is a joke. I call they say Ill get a rep to call you right back. the rep calls and ALWAYS wants to have someone ELSE call me later to walk me through trouble shooting. of course NEVER get that 2nd call back. this has happened 3 times in less than 6 months of owning the service. I would NEVER recommend them. AND as soon as my 1 year is up Im switching to someone else to monitor. I have a brand new home with the sound system and have had nothing but issues.
This company is awful. We met with Gary their sales rep. he was awesome to work with about our needs. We wanted a monitored system for the entire house and a entertainment system for part of the house.The price was right so we signed up...that is where it stops. We both work during the week so we needed a install on Saturday. Gary said he would work on it and get it set up. He got it set up for Saturday then NO ONE showed up for the install with a time window of 8-11 in the morning.We sat around the house waiting for them to show up or even a phone call to inform us of when they were going to arrive. We received NEITHER !!!!!So we wasted our Saturday morning waiting on them and NOTHING !!!!I would NOT recommend this company to anyone and I will advise our builder of this situation since they also recommended them to us.If I could rate them a ZERO I WOULD. Absolutely awful communication from this company from the beginning. It is a shame that a good sales rep. like Gary isn’t supported by the company he represents/works for doesn’t stand behind him.Stay away !!!!Kevin Kennedy
I want to commend the owner of CPSS for reaching out to a customer that had some issues. It is very rare that an owner will contact a customer to try and make things right. As most everyone knows customer service is what brings customers back to that company time and time again. While I may have had a small issue with CPSS, I want everyone to know that when the owner gets involved things happen in a positive way. And be honest thats all customers are looking for, is someone to listen to them and care about their problems. So Randi I want to thank you very much for calling me and assuring me that things have been taken care of. And I look forward to a long business relationship with CPSS.

My company has our office alarm system through Crime Prevention and they always do a great job. Any time I have a question, theyre quick to answer it. The couple times weve had an alarm triggered, the people who have called to confirm the alarm have been very professional.
I have been trying to cancel this service since March 2018. I signed their stupid paper form, paid my balance and emailed it. They didnt act on it and have continued to bill. I found and sent again and ago and they have not disconnected and continue to bill.

Awful customer service. I had a technical problem at home, I called them more than seven times and they keep transferring me from one department to another one. They will never act, just they will confirm that they will help.....very bad customer service
