Such a cute shop! My we tried quite a few things. My favorites were the pink coconut ice, peppermint toads, and fizzing whizbees. My least favorite was the chocolate frog which is a poor quality for $12, the jelly slugs which are very chewy and practically flavorless, and the pumpkin pasty which was dry and pretty much just a smear of pumpkin pie filling inside of the crust. I tried the Butterbeer fudge but was given what looked like a very old piece. So it was very hit and miss for me. But now I know for next time!
The theming inside and inside the shop is very detailed and keeps you inside the magic. The selection of confectionery is extensive and I found it difficult to choose which to buy, luckily they have some items to taste first which was helpful. The things I did try and buy were delicious. Theme park prices though, if youre on a budget Id stay out.
One of my favourite shops from the Wizarding World! It looks just like the movies. I love the colors, they are so vibrant and a perfect fit for a candy shop. There are a lot of candies from the books/movies and even more. There are themed candies - like Bertie Botts every flavour bean, Shock-o-choc and others - but also more regular candies, like simply gummies and chocolate. You can buy an empty jar, fill it with the sweets that you want, or put them into a bag instead. The shop is mostly pre-packaged candies though. The packagings are amazing. There are also a couple of desserts (like cake or butterbeer fudge) and drinks (like pumpkin juice) at the cash register, and a couple of candy merchs, like candy-themed pins and ornaments. They can also give you a little basket to shop with, if you are going to buy a lot of items. I would definitely recommend visiting this shop, even if its just to look around. Chocolate frogs and Bertie Botts every flavour beans are a must buy! My personal favourite turned out to be the Fizzing Whizzbees. The candies are obviously super expensive, but you will not regret the experience of trying them all!
A really lovely place to visit at the park. They had a wide, colorful, and fun variety of goodies to choose from including water. They are getting 4 stars because the prices are outrageous!!!!
Best candy. The cauldrons are the best. I really like the witch hat cupcakes so rich
Universal is going to be expensive, but if you want the full experience pick up some chocolate frogs or other treats to enjoy on you the Hogwarts Express.
Great selection of candy from the Potter world and then some. I got the caramel apple and Felix Felicis.
Wonderful store. The cast was on point and the service was Very friendly and fast. The chocolate frog tasted great and didnt even try to get away. Highlight quality chocolate as well. Highly recommend and super clean candy shop
My wife Honeyduked her pants when she saw this store!
Fun place, but THE CANDY/CHOCOLATE/CAKES ARE TERRIBLE!!!! And I mean terrible!!! Every. Single. Thing. There. Is. Disgusting. :( Such a disappointment and an ENORMOUS waste of money :(
Cauldron cakes are a must! The cake inside the Silicon cauldron is a delicious devils food. The flames on top are buttercream. I bought one on our last day in the Parks. It lasted through the rest of the day at the park and the plane ride home. absolutely delicious! And on the bottom of the box is a recipe for making more!
The candy is really good I bought a couple of bags of the old time candy like gummies jelly beans. I bought the fizzies I was addicted to them and candy bars. Have to stop every time The candy are magical
Fun candy store and well worth stopping in whether youre into photography or want to buy something! I bought a few treats here to bring back with me, and would also highly recommend the pumpkin pasties and fudge. The store itself is vibrant and great for photo opportunities when its not too busy. The outside is also one of my favorite places to take pictures because of the bright colors.
Loved it. It was crowded. Still good service
Honeydukes is very cramped and small, especially when the line gets overly long. Most of the candies they sell here are nothing too amazing or unique. The chocolate frogs are cool since they all come with a card and I recommend the chocolate cauldrons as those were really good.
Honeydukes is an awesome little shop filled with almost every sweet treat you can think of. They even sell the infamous chocolate frogs which is pretty cool. It is conveniently located along the main walk through Hogsmeade so you cant miss it!
Albus Dumbledore said that in his youth he had a vomit flavoured bean and no longer liked them. Everyone else seems to love Bertie Botts Beans. The Shoppe was beautiful merchandised and all of the treats were beautifully packaged. There is not one child or adult with a sweet tooth that will leave this shop empty handed.
An authentic experience with unique candies. The shop is extremely small and claustrophobic, so be ready to weave through people and tight corridors.
Great atmosphere. Would give it 5 stars, but for all the money we spend on park admission, itd be nice if they had some candy samples. Samples would make me more likely to buy something, because then I would know what I like the best and what Im willing to spend $10 on!
Everyone whos read the Harry Potter series has probably yearned to go to Honeydukes, and Universal gets it pretty much exactly right. The shop design is fantastic, and most of the candies that get name-dropped in the books appear in a slightly-less-magical form in this shop.
I bought a Chocolate Frog from Honeydukes and it was huge and it was actually SOLID chocolate (not hollow like an Easter Egg!) and it was delicious! The items in Honeydukes arent actually that expensive! I would definitely return!
Great for kids including many sweets and candy! Themed candy includes Chocolate Frogs, and U-NO-POO among many other types. Great theme for Harry Potter!
Be sure to try pumpkin juice and pumpkin pasties if you are a pumpkin fan. So good!!
Another great location to visit and get yourself a sweet to eat and take home as a gift! Another perfect place to enjoy the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Store is vibrant and pretty. Shelves are fully stocked with goodies that all HP fans will recognize from the books and movies. $15USD for the chocolate frogs. They also sell fudge and cupcakes.
We absolutely LOVE HoneyDukes!!! The chocolate frogs are a favorite. Pepper Imps are good. Acid Pops and Sugar Quills are musts!
Fun yet limited selection of items and sweets, and theyre all pricey.
There are some delightful sweets to be had here. The Cauldron Cake is fantastic and comes with tons of frosting on top. The cake beneath it is incredibly moist so the cake and frosting pair together very well. Also, the fudge is to die for. The Butterbeer fudge is almost as good as actual butterbeer. This isnt a slight its just that butterbeer is so good.
I could hardly move an inch in the shop so unfortnately I could not give it a positive review. I know that crowds are part of park life but the shop is way too small for even 20 people never mind hundreds trying to make their was through.
Good candy
Cool shop, but limited selection. Not enough wow factor for being in Hogsmeade.
All the candies here are amazing. Especially love the delicious jellys.
Super Fun store! And the staff is great.
I really loved the accuracy of all the shops but they really nailed the candy.
I came here wanting to buy some treats and fudge.. i paid $17 for two things of fudge, and a pack of taffy, and the cashier didnt even put the fudge in the bag... the taffy doesnt even have much flavor!
The best candy store in the world!
Always crowded. good Harry Potter experience! but often over crowded
Great! The store is really nice and all the candy looks like the candy in the movies!
Disappointed that we couldnt find anything gluten free. Been a reoccurring theme at the places we have tried to get food at Universal
Early in the morning before the crowds came in I was able to grab this 360º photo. This store smells of a level of sugar that would bring most muggles to their knees.
Lots of different candy, fairly expensive though. Awesome atmosphere I side as well.
Very very good chocolate frogs and good sweets
Lots of fun stuff to buy
The place looks great, but everything is very expensive.
Sweatshop straight out of Harry Potter. Also, none of the candy melted on me in the Florida heat!
Sooooo expensive, but a lot of fun!
Lovely place
Its so much fun
Want to go here all potter heads assemble💗
Full of candies you read about in the books.
It was nice but everything was very expensive.
Words cant even!
Harry Potter is passion
Delicious treats!
Chocolate frogs & popping candies!
Ok But Crowded Sometimes
All the candies you could ever want!
Good fun
Plenty of candy, but very expensive
Chocolate frogs!
Nice place
Amazing
AMAZING
Located in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the Islands of Adventure park, Hogsmeade (Beautiful snowy houses!) Takes us back to the world of Harry Potter films in a magical and beautiful environment! Hogsmead is cute, with houses with snow, it has several shops like Honeydukes which is beautiful, with pink strokes in pastel tones that sell sweets from the Harry Potter saga including beans of all flavors for just over 10 dollars. Beautiful!
