I used to go to the College Park location until it shut down. Now I have been popping in and out at this location in Winter Park. Credo has always stood apart all other coffee houses because of the experience one can have when we go there. Unfortunately the new management for this particular location doesnt quiet get it. When you come in to order a drink from the bar, it feels like you are going to a cheap Dunkin Donut location. The staff is very unsocial and feels like they are just there and havent gotten the pay raise promised. It feels terrible and the management is all about getting stuff done behind the counter over getting to know your customers and having a personal experience with the customers. Coffee shops are suppose to generate that feeling otherwise, why should any of us cone there? I only know of one barista that works there that goes beyond and brings the coffee shop experience to life. She should train the staff including management into what the coffee house experience should be.

We visited this coffee shop specially to get some work done. It’s location is obviously meant to service the employees and patients of the hospital, but the coffee and design of this location of this local coffee chain is worth checking out even if you’re not getting a check up. The menu is no-frills and straight forward but they have nearly every ingredient to make a great coffee. The pour over was excellent. The star of this location is the loft space that is ideal for studying, working, whatever. It’s extremely chill and I wish there were more coffee shops in the area that had a space like it.

What a gorgeous spot! This space had really been thought out and used well. They have two stories, one of which is a loft space thats open view to the windows and the downstairs area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are a pay what you decide kind of place that allows the customer to make a conscious choice on their payment. They sustainably harvest beans from snap growers that they build personal relationships with. Its nice to see a component that works so hard to make good decisions. The space itself is welcoming and has a lounge vibe upstairs. They have some cool photos on the far East and then some motorcycle themed art at the side entry.Overall: A+A socially responsible coffee shop that tons through every bit of the experience, from growing to tasting to final purchase.

Very displeased about my visit As soon as I walked in, the employee was so annoyed that he had to take care of a guest. I asked politely if I can have more sugar once I tasted my coffee and then wanted to give me attitude and roll his eyes that there was enough sugar in my coffee. Over priced as it is for a small cup, if I’m paying $5 I expect my coffee to at least taste good or how I like it.

Great cafe that serves a fairly consistent specialty coffee with a pay what you can system. The space is a wall of window and has some nice spots to sit and enjoy a drink if you want.

Everyone is so nice here, the atmosphere is great and the sliding scale for pricing is really nice to have as an option. Only knocking off one star because there’s one guy that just doesn’t do pour overs for some reason. He gives a different reason every time. I’m sure he just doesn’t know how to make them well but he should get trained. Otherwise it’s my favorite coffee shop and Shelby is my favorite barista :)

Asked for a large iced coffee and was told to pick a price. I asked why and was told “the extra money goes to the people that climb the mountains and pick the berries both local and over seas.” The recommended pay was $4-6$ so I chose $5 because of the location, the modern look of the place, and that is about what I pay for a venti at Starbucks. First, a 4” tall plastic cup was filled with ice. Then, a pre made container of coffee was pulled out of the fridge and poured into the 4” cup full of ice. I was in disbelief that I was paying $5 for this. To top it off, on the screen that you accept the charge it asks for a tip. I am too nice of a person to cause an issue and ask for a refund but I was so very disappointed with this small drink that should be a demo at best and the recommended price was so high. If I could post the picture of the coffee I would. Save your money and go to Starbucks for the same price and get quadruple the coffee with more work put into the making and taste of the coffee. I am not biased. I went in with an open mind, hopeful for great coffee, and ready for the new experience. The coffee did not even keep me awake for my 30 min. train ride.

Stopped in as a 1st timer... They ask you to name your price for the coffee. Reasoning is, they outsource from local growers and try to give as much back as possible. Needless to say, I purchased an expensive cup! 😁. Pay it forward! Thanks Credo for doing your part.

Located nearly within the heart of Advent Healths flagship campus and along the sunrail, this interesting coffee shop has insanely tasty drinks to get you moving! Staff is friendly, the pricing scheme allows you to choose how much to pay, and the upstairs environment is quiet and roomy enough if you want to chill and/or study.

If you need a modern coffee shop with the charm of a friendly, local place, look no further. This loft-style place is the perfect spot to get things done on your computer, or to stare out the beautiful, tall glass windows as the SunRail passes by. Parking is free at any of the the garages nearby, just make sure to get your ticket validated by one of the baristas.

Order/Suggestions: Cordadito, Cappuccino, Zucchini Cheddar breadPrice: $12Pros: Amazing coffee (especially the cup of magic they call the Cordadito), interior is fantastic (wonderful place to work or just “hang out”), the donation based pricing model is so awesomeCons: Parking is pretty limited but their is plenty of parking on the streets nearby, the pastries were just “ok”Thoughts: We were headed to Orlando to pick someone up from the Airport and figured we would get there ahead of rush hour traffic, and picked a new coffee shop to sit and enjoy the morning at. I’d head a lot of good things about Credo but had never been able to get there prior to now. This was a mistake, I should have come earlier, I have missed out on one or Orlando’s best coffee shops. This place is genuinely amazing, and very unique.First of all their pricing model is one of a kind; they work off of donations rather than a required amount. They do list a suggestion price “range” for each drink but they leave it completely up to you how much you pay (THIS DOES NOT MEAN FREE! I swear if people are coming in here and taking coffee without paying -_- ). While this is pretty cool in and of itself it also allows you to pay when you’re done rather than in the beginning. So if you’re like my wife and I (coffee addicts) then you can order multiple drinks over the several hours you’re here and then just pay your “tab” at the end before you leave.Moving on to the main attraction…the coffee is top notch all around, but dear god in heaven the Cordadito; I think I found a new form of crack. This thing is unrealistically good, the perfect combination of espresso, milk, and sugar. This is SO HARD to get right; so often it’s too sweet, has too much milk, or the quality of the espresso just isn’t there. This thing, this magical potion of amazing, delicious, nectar from heaven that they call a Cordadito is perfect. Get one if you go, you won’t be disappointed.Their space is also amazing. They have a ton of seating (some of it outside) and it’s semi decided into what almost feels like a “common” area and a quieter area for people doing work or studying. The second area is also able to be rented if you have a function or meeting that you want to host.Overall Credo easily makes it into the list of favorite coffee shops I’ve ever been to and is well worth going a bit out of your way to make it to if you’re in the Orlando area. While their pastries aren’t anything to write home about their coffee is incredible, their model is the incredibly community based, and their space feels like it should naturally be a “third place”. I’m so glad I got to visit and I can’t wait to be back for more.
