Wow! First time at Disney and this was what I was looking forward to the most. And it did not disappoint. The first day at MK, we got the swirl DOLE Whip. Amazing. The pineapple whip is tasty, but the vanilla ice cream is so creamy and milky and not too sweet. It was so delicious. Our second day, we got the vanilla pineapple float. So refreshing. I will be craving this unique treat for sure!
Totally forgot to snap a pic but finally was able to get the iconic dole whip and man was it good. It was around 95° when we had a chance to get it so it was a perfect cool treat for the family. The mobile order system made life easy, we went up, they made it, and there ya go.
Half Raspberry Half Pineapple Dole Whip - Great combo, glad they had it. The raspberry is really really good, and mixed with the OG, even better.Kakamora Float - really disappointing.Dole whip rankingsPineapple - great flavor and creamy smooth textureLemon - Pineapple Lanai - tart and refreshingOrange - Sunshine Treat - excellent both as a creamsicle and on it’s own. Get the lava burst thing. I lava float.Raspberry - Aloha Isle - great flavor and creamyLime - Pineapple Lanai - great flavor but sherbet texture. Little icy. UPDATE - last day was creamier and delicious. So, could be hit or miss.Lime - Storybook Treats - great flavor and creamy taste. Could be soft serve and not dole whip.Pineapple with Coconut - Simba’s sunset - Tamu Tamu - best coconut flavor mostly because of the syrup. This was light and refreshing, but ours was very melty.Cream Cheese soft serve - Storybook treats - This was really weird. It intrigues you more than anything else but it isn’t very good. Better when mixed with the coke but again, not great.Strawberry - Refreshment Port - too much like ice cream, did not taste like dole whip.Coconut MK - tastes like vanilla with a hint of coconut at the end.
If you’ve ever had Pineapple Upside Down Cake then the cake part is probably very similar to past experiences, but this one also had little pieces of candied fruit mixed throughout which I liked. Also on top of the cake and under the Dole Whip there was a nice layer of minced and glazed pineapple with a candied cherry. This whole part was awesome. I’m not a cake man at all but this is pretty good.
I have stopped here for the Dole Whips several times. To be honest, I have trouble finishing one. They tend to be overly sweet and will give you some brain freeze. This particular stop, we decided to try out the Kakamora Float. I hadnt paid much attention to what it was composed of, but after sampling it, found that it was basically a Pina Colada float. It was excellent and a super way to cool off on a hot day in the park. It actually made me want to research how to make them myself when Im not in Disney World. This will become a regular stop for us, and as a word of advice, get your Kakamora Float, or Dole Whip, or whatever and walk a way back toward the entrance. Near the Swiss Family Robinson tree is a place that has seating around a grove of trees. It is normally used to park strollers, but theres always seating available here and its out of the way. Enjoy your cool treat here. Youre welcome.
Aloha Isle has always been close to my heart. If I am staffed with watching a little one by myself or stuck in Adventure Land or I could think of many many other excuses for needing a pineapple float. The combination of combining pineapple juice with pineapple flavored soft serve has been so magically for me. It truly gives you a peice of paradise. I had this desert for a couple of decades before my first trip to Hawaii to the Dole plantation where I got to try where this desert originated from. It reminds you of the true idea of Disney. Where you can take the best places, food, treats and cultures putting them in one amazing place. This year Aloha Isle upped their game. This location has moved in Magic Kingdom recently to give them more room to more efficiently keep up with orders. Gone are the days of waiting 30+ minutes in line. But they have added a Kakamora float as well. Instead of pineapple ice cream they use coconut ice cream. Then add some food coloring. Although I love the original this is also just as magical. We got one of each to split between five people and it was nice switching between the pineapple and coconut ice cream. Makes me wish magic was open right now and I had an annual pass to run in and get one of each.
One of the BEST dessert in Magic Kingdom! The dole whip is definitely the most popular soft serve in Disney World, sorbet-like, amazingly delicious sweet and sour pineapple taste! But its honestly even more amazing with the sweet pineapple sweet cake, chiffon like, with taste of real pineapple chunks inside too the cake.Pineapple Upside Down Cake - $6.99
The pineapple float with soft serve is incredible and would eat again. I did not give this five stars because the online ordering service was very slow and we saw people just walk up and order then get their order right then. Why have that option if it’s better to order up front.
Delicious ice cream!!!! Taste like coconut plus its dairy free. Comes with a chocolate cake pop on top. Really good!
Delicious pineapple Dole whip float!! Great as a summer drink to cool off ☺️ use mobile ordering on Disney app to get a time slot and pick up when you arrive.
Do not come to the Magic Kingdom without trying a Dole Pineapple float. So refreshing. I have been getting these for 25 years and never skip this treat. Tip: Stand back and scan the servers to see who tends to give the largest portions. Some are stingy, others will load you up!
Love the pineapple floats! Mobile check out was convenient for the most part as well. Tucked away by the Enchanted Tiki Room and helped with the Pirates of the Caribbean wait!
Had the Dole Whip at Aloha Isle and it was just great! Dole Whip (pineapple soft serve) has been trending in NYC for the last summer seasons, so I’ve tried it before, but the Dole Whip at Aloha Isle is much creamier and tastier than any other Dole Whip I’ve tried. This is the best thing I ate in Magic Kingdom.
We come to Disney every year and bring our employees. Every year we have had a great experience, except today. The Alex guy was VERY rude and acted like it was a problem when we asked a question about what they had. We have 4 businesses that we operate and I could assure you an employee like this would NOT last long!! He needs customer service skill training!!!!!
Alex was very unkind to my family and I. We were waiting in line, unaware that it was a mobile ordering line. Rather than asking us to to move to another line he rolled his eyes at us, played on his phone at the register and when we tried to ask a question he stared at us in silence. Another friendly attendant redirected us to his line and apologized. However, Alex should not be acting in that manor at a Disney facility! Love Disney, not pleased with this specific staff members character!
It was getting dark, and about the time we got onto a few more rides, it was really dark...but yet, we still haven’t had Dole Whip!!! It is a crime not to get one while you are visiting WDW...unless you are not a fan of pineapple or ice cream. We went over to Aloha Isle Refreshments and got ourselves one Pineapple Float. I was a bit thirsty, so I wanted some liquid with the ice cream. So, we went with the float instead of getting just the Dole Whip. Besides, why just get a Dole Whip when you can get it on top of pineapple juice?!I’ve had Dole Whip at other spots outside Disney World, but I must say, Dole Whip here is THE best!!! It had small bits of pineapple in it, and so creamy and velvety, such a delight! The juice also enhanced the pineapple flavor. Super refreshing, perfect dessert!
Great Dole whip, but the Kakamora float was not as good as I hoped
This is a must have on any visit to Adventureland. My favorite is the pineapple Dole Whip Float. Its amazing! Its a favorable size, so its best to share, but outs not too much to eat alone. The line is always long, so save yourself some headache and order from the my Disney Experience app. You wont regret it!
Why can i pay cash ALL OVER THE PARK but cant here. I dont have and dont want to make an account to buy ice cream .Gimmie a freaking break!!!
So delicious, must get treats here every visit 😋
If youre at Disneys Magic Kingdom, I would highly recommend you head over to Aloha Isle and try the Dole Whip. I had the dole whip with a wafer on top and it was excellent. To tell you how much I liked it, I have to emphasize that I ate it when it was 50F outside. As others have mentioned the line can get long and it takes time because the cashier is pouring out the ice cream as soon as you order it. One thing I have noticed is that sometimes the flavor can be more tart than others, but this will never detract me from eating Dole Whip. Also, this is definitely a shareable treat, and I would highly recommend that you do so .. otherwise you cant get more sugary treats at the other areas of the park!
This place is all about Dole whip. Dole whip is a signature food item in Disney world. I have visited this place during December 2018. During that time this place was extremely crowded. I have to wait in long line. Stuffs were extremely friendly. We have two type of dole whip. One was regular and another one with pineapple juice. One with pineapple juice (call flote) taste better.
Love the Dole Whip but the mobile ordering here is terrible. The app tells you to go to one window; the people working there another. Save time frustration and just order normally.
Dole whip, Dole whip, Dole whip. As if you cant tell i love this simple yet absolutely delicious treat. If you have not had one, then the is no way you will understand,. Pineapple juice with the best soft serve ice cream there is. Its cool, and refreshing.
The raspberry pineapple whip swirl is so good. Its probably the best cold treat in magic kingdom.
This is a must do at the Magic Kingdom. The Dole Whip Float is amazing. We ordered ours swirled with vanilla and pineapple. Awesome way to cool down and one is enough to cool down two adults !
Great place to try the classic pineapple Dole whip or any other flavours they have on the menu right now. The orange vanilla swirl is also great. The staff has always been very nice, theyre good at controlling crowds. But, BEWARE often times if youre here when they dont expect a lot of people will be around (Christmas, maybe spring break) the seating will be kinda slim. If you cant get a seat, consider going to the Tiki Room next store and eat in AC.
You must get the Dole whip float (pineapple soft serve ice cream with pineapple juice)!!! Its a classic and one of the best treats! Very refreshing on a hot day at Disney! It is expensive but completely worth it! Unfortunately, the seating outside is difficult to get.
A must stop when youre at Magic Kingdom. Dole whip is one of the most delicious treats Disney has to offer. Its delicious with the vanilla custard swirled in, and with the pineapple upside down cake. You can even order in advance on the Disney app and skip the line!
2 words. Dole Whip.
Went here to try the pineapple upside down cake topped with vanilla soft serve and it was absolutely delicious!Line moved quickly and we were served fast. Food was absolutely wonderful!
Mobile ordered Dole whip. It was super convenient and faster than waiting in line. You just show them your phone screen with the order and they get it made right up for you. Dole Whip of course is delicious and you cant go wrong. Pineapple for life!
I’m new to the dole whip craze, but I will say that this stand has the best original dole whip I’ve had in all the parks and Disney Springs. And with mobile ordering, ordering is a breeze.Take the detour into Adventureland and make your way to this little unassuming eatery. Their dole whips are simply the best.
Mobile order was quick and easy, and my pineapple float was delicious!
Dole whip is great.
Dole Whip! Enough said 😍
The cherry and pistachio is amazing!!!!! A must try. Instead of waiting in line while it’s super busy during lunchtime, try the late afternoon. It just took a few minutes to place and pick up our order.
Bad servise
The Dole Whip is maybe the best snack in all of WDW. We love getting the Dole Whip float (pineapple soft serve with pineapple juice). Very refreshing on a hot Florida afternoon. Last time, I also tried it with the pineapple upside-down cake, which was also really good.
Theres not a whole lot on the menu. Rather, its what they serve that is key. The dole whip is a very sweet, soft serve ice cream. I got this treat as a float, dole whip and pineapple juice. Its a delicious park treat that is not available everywhere. Unique gastronomical experience.
Dole Whip!If you’re vegan, feel free to indulge in this pineapple-y sugar-y dairy-free soft serve.Even for me (a person that doesn’t like pineapple) this is the one time that I do.Perfectly refreshing on a hot disney-filled day.
This place has the best dole whip cups ever!! I had heard that the dole whips were good through the grape vine, but I wasnt expecting them to be this good!! Unfortunately, my daughter didnt like it as she doesnt like pineapple in any form. If you have a picky kid like me, I would recommend grabbing them an ice cream or something on your way over to Aloha Isle as they dont sell anything without pineapple in it. Basically, it is like a pineapple ice cream that tastes like fresh pineapple to a t.
Best Yogurt Ive ever tasted. I got the Dole Pineapple Float and it took me on a journey Ive never felt in my whole life. The staff is so sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend this and the pineapples are fresh and the juice is the greatest😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Suprisingly this was my favorite stop within the whole amusement park! More so than any ride. I had been seeing people walk around with DOLE Whip so I searched the Disney app and sure enough this is where you go to get it. I love dole whip, but I know my wife doesnt care that much for it so we got the swirl with vanilla ice cream and we got it as a float with pineapple juice. In the hot sun it was sooooo refreshing.
DOLE WHIP! Need I say more? Ok, DOLE whip floats and pineapple upside down cake! People will ask you where you got it. Great refreshments on a hot day. A dont miss, Disney staple.
I came here to try the dole whip, and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and even gave me a small cup of whip for my daughter for free. The whip itself was nice, creamy and tasty, and had the most amazing pineapple flavor. Would recommend to anyone going to Disney!
What used to be so wonderful has gone so wrong, this is still the essence of what it used to be but the cast members in this area seem especially rude, the pineapple floats are now served with warm pineapple juice which is very unsettling. It took one minute with three friends making faces from the warm pineapple juice to nearly ruin the childhood memory I had left. Just a tip, if youve had it before and LOVED!! it, skip it next time and enjoy your memory.
Absolutely loved the Dole Float! They offer Dole whip (in a cup spiralled high), Dole Floats (Dole whip with Dole pineapple juice in a parfait cup), Dole whip on top of a slice of Pineapple Upside-down cake, and Dole pineapple juice in a small cup. The prices are a bit high (WDW duh), but the servings are perfect size to share!
This is a must every time we visit Disney World!! I always get the Dole Whip float - pineapple soft serve ice cream with pineapple juice. Its devine - cold and refreshing. I believe they also have orange soft serve but I love the pineapple so much, Ive never tried it. This is a great spot to grab a little snack and break during a day at the park.
Lines move very fast and the employees are exceptional. Use mobile ordering and get your dole whips even faster...
A visit to Magic Kingdom would not be complete for me without a pineapple dole whip. This year I saw that they offered them with rum at the Garden Festival but I never came across the booth. While these are not smothered in rum as Jack Sparrow would prefer they are still as close to nirvana as you can get. At this booth you can get pineapple spears, pineapple juice, the famous whip, or the best of both worlds, the float which is suspended in a sea of pineapple juice. I wish they made a perfume of the pineapple smell that wafts from this place. $5 for a float is practically a bargain in terms of prices at Disney World. Especially in the heat of Florida this cool and fruity snack is a treat not to be missed.
The dole whip was amazing. If you walk up and theres a really long line just use mobile ordering. Its so much faster.
Dole Whip! A definite must. Oh and it’s dairy free!
The dole whip is the best item on the menu. They also have a pineapple upside down cake with dolewhip on top, but the cake is kinda dry. You can also order a dolewhip float with pineapple juice, its the perfect treat for those hot Florida days, although I have been known to have one or two during the cold season, but that will be our little secret. They now offer online ordering through the Disney Experience app, its very easy to use and can be found on the main menu. You will receive a text when your order is ready to be picked up.
The first thing you need to do when you get to the Magic Kingdom??? Get a Dole Whip!!! There will be a long line and this is the one line that is truly worth the wait. Delicious.
A tropical themed concession stand that offers a pineapple heavy menu. As with all park food, the prices are above market rate. That said, the pineapple float is worth the cost to try at least once.
A review of the Aloha Isle can be summed up in just two words: Dole WhipIts a classic soft serve pineapple treat that tastes like Hawaii in ice cream form. I prefer the float (which adds pineapple juice) and its become a regular part of my Disney World vacations.
The pineapple icream thing is fantastic. Sadly no drinks of any kind.
Dole Whip is a classic that you have to try at least once, at least just to see what the hype is all about. Its more creamy like ice cream, but in Animal Kingdom you can get a mango sorbet-type dessert that I liked better than Dole Whip!
Dole-Whip seems to be a great draw of DisneyWorld, and I have to admit, it isnt half bad.Recommendation: Either you get there early in the morning or late in the afternoon, otherwise you get to face attraction sized lines. We got there in the afternoon, which was good since we were exhausted and dehydrated. I got the Dole Float, which is Pineapple Juice with Dole Whip swirl in it. It was pretty tasty.Id recommend this to anyone who wants a nice cool treat while you are in Adventureland.
I love that these are dairy free! Thank you for being accommodating to those with food allergies!
Eyelash in my dole whip
It goes down fast with a trailing BRAIN FREEZE
The new Hei Hei dole whip is beyond amazing
ZOMG! Delicious pineapple juice + pineapple ice cream float. Very, very sweet, but very very tasty at the same time.
The dole whip is the best frozen snack in all of MK
We love the Dole Sunday.
Got to love a dole whip!
Very refreshing after walking around in the sun in Magic Kingdom.
Dole whip is a special thing that only exists in a few places on earth. Prepare ahead of time and bring a water bottle filled with coconut rum, then get the dole whip float and, add the rum for a truly magical experience.
Fast, friendly and VERY delicious pineapple drinks and ice cream.
