Place is quaint. Good coffee. Interesting selection of breakfast and snack foods. Customer service counter orientation is wonky. Makes it hard to order food and then get out if the way.

I was having work done on my car down the road and stopped in for lunch; ordered the chinese salad and what a mistake!!!the lettuce was wilted to slim stage the noodles were already soft and the mandarines were macerated like they had been stirred multiple times in the salad!!!! I asked when it had been made and the young girl said an hour ago!! If you are serving something with dry crunchy noodles, you dont put them in an hour before you serve it!!!

We are a local dog training company. Many of our dogs come from areas outside of Oroville for our board and train program. One thing we like to do is work with dogs in dog friendly outdoor dining establishments. This is an area Oroville lacks GREATLY in forcing us to drive 30 minutes to work on this type of training however Mugshots is a great low key option before we dive into more difficult areas. The patio is perfect for the dogs. We enjoyed our lunch last week and will be back again!

Being essentially the only coffee shop in this part of down town, I was hoping it would be a great experience. It never really has been over the year of me going there.First, I felt like I was walking into 2019 when Covid wasnt a thing. People eating freely inside without masks, tables close together and no rules enforced. Its no surprise cases are surging in Oroville.Second, I was surprised to find that even with the disregard for Covid you still couldnt self serve creamer and sugar in coffee that really wasnt very good.The good: It seems like specialty coffee drinks are okay. There are tons of food options and service is friendly and done in a reasonable time frame.Suggestion: outdoor curb seating and actually enforce Covid guidelines. Make self serve coffee available w/ creamer and sugar.

I just had the best coffee I have had in a long time. Perfect balance of creme, sweet and coffee. My wife got a mango smoothie which was also amazing. Thier sandwiches are simple and a great compliment to any drink. Highly recommend MugShots for all your coffee and drink needs!

Mug Shots is a great local coffee shop. The vibe is funky--definitely more upbeat than other coffee shops, at least when I was there on a quiet Saturday evening--with lots of table space for working on laptops.Theres an extensive drinks menu as well as food menu. This isnt just a coffee shop; its a cafe. Besides the regular packaged food and pastries you can normally get at most places, they also serve a limited breakfast and lunch menu, including a soup and special of the day.Im looking forward to coming back here again. Support local businesses!

This is a great little coffee shop. I can always find a snack while I am there and they have a good variety of drinks to choose from. Board games make for a perfect coffee date. My favorite place to sit is the window seat. Free parking downtown!

Mug Shots had a wide selection of breakfast treats, and promptly brought our order to our table within minutes! We had two cakes with some tea, and everything was delicious. Will definitely be coming back here again.

Cute coffee shop with really friendly service! I had the eggs Benedict and they were super tasty. The potatoes that accompanied them werent tasty. More like cardboard than food. The coffee, a Carmel macchiato, was alright. Im pretty sure I got a Carmel latte instead. Overall a decent place.

Aint Starbucks! Coffee self served in vacuum pots was old and burnt tasting. The server (barista?) was clueless and no help. But the old-time Oroville ambiance is very pleasant for meeting friends. The old-time unpaved parking lot could use some leveling.

Great cute and comfortable. The all brick walls with local artists constantly on display really adds to the downtown experience. The food is always delicious and their cold brew is dangerously delicious. They have great mini-events that are perfect additions to your nights.

They should have brown sugar and creamer out with the other sugars and whatnot for customers to personalize their drinks like Good Earth and Tea does. That way if the barrista forgot to add cream you dont have to wait in line again for some.

You can get any coffee that you like just have fun

The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere calm, and relaxing. My mother and I shared a Turkey Ruben sandwich, which was delicious and very filling and reasonable priced. The mochas we ordered however were not to our liking. This was due to personal taste, however, not due to any error on the staffs behalf. We just prefer ours sweeter. The nice gentleman serving us explained that they use dark chocolate and he very kindly added additional sweeteners. I would return to this establishment solely for the atmosphere, hospitality and food again but next time my stick to hot chocolate! Very nice place to just sit, chat and watch the people!

Overpriced, watery chicken salad sandwich. Barely any chicken, mostly apples. Definitely wouldnt go back.
