Needed an eye exam so I called my eye doctor. A month out to get an appointment. So I called LensCrafters and got in right away. I didnt know what to expect. The eye exam was very thorough and the doctors were very informing. I seen both pictures of my eyes which was pretty cool. I really liked how everything went so smoothly. I think I will stay with LensCrafters from here on out.
Very pleasant experience getting new glasses. Ernesto was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of the process. Iβm not normally impressed with the service I get from most places I visit, but today stands out as one of the best. He would be an asset to any company due to his personal engagement and listening skills.
Convivence location and wheelchair accessible entry. The employees are always nice and patience, great selection of styles and options for transition lens. Better prices if you have insurance, I look forward to continue my business here! I personally like to thank Jonathan for his patience, and managing the place on his own during a busy hour.
This store is amazing!I recently purchased some Ray Ban sunglasses and and the arm broke within 2 weeks. As a result, I went into Humble LensCrafters and they told me that they did not cover breakage without a warranty. So, I asked them to pull up my insurance because I had not used the frame benefit and I was told that it would not apply because I was not purchasing the lens. Hence, I was forced into purchasing a new frame.However, 2 days later after visiting the Overland Park store the sales rep there told me he would look at my account and see what he could do. After review he was able to use the frame benefit that I had not used and refund the frames that I was forced to pay for by the Humble store, saving me 130.00.So, if you ever get a chance to need glasses go by this store as they are honest and definitely work with you, rather than interested in just getting commission.
Went in to get an eye exam for contact lenses. Dr. PeΓ±a asked if he could put the trial lenses in for me. I told him I could do it myself and he reinforced wanting to do it with a doctors touch so I said fine.Pretty sure I got charged $85 for this guy to stick his fingers in my eyes for a βfittingβ.
After decades of barely being able to see past my nose, one visit to this place changed my life. I can now see better than a Hawk. Inspired by my new Hawk like vision, Iβve taken up field mouse hunting as a hobby. Itβs truly exhilarating. If you have any problems with your vision whatsoever, do yourself a favor and make yourself an appointment.
Dr. Anderson was thorough and explained everything going on with my eyes. He was friendly and professional. The equipment was cutting edge and far less intrusive than most visits Iβve experienced. The staff were also incredibly friendly and professional. Quick, efficient service. I will definitely be back.

I purchased a pair of glasses and had distorted vision for a week waiting for them to adjust. After realizing it was most likely an issue with the glasses, I took them back in and was told that it was because my frames were too big for my face.... This seemed strange to me as I have worn glasses with frames larger than my new glasses for years without issues. They refused to attempt to remake the lenses, and told me to pick out different smaller frames. After I asked a few questions trying to figure out what glasses might be better (even though I am confident it was a lens issue, not a frame issue) they directed me to the childrens glasses section, which wouldnt even fit on my head and I am not child sized. Overall a waste of time and money.
I had the best experience with the eye doctor Christopher Pena and the staff at Lenscrafters. Everyone was wonderful. The receptionist went the extra mile trying to get my insurance to work for several days before my appointment so everything would be taken care of before my arrival. Dr. Pena was wonderful. He was extremely receptive, and really listened to my needs and what I wanted. (I wanted one eye for reading and one for distance so I do not have to wear reading glasses). He took extra time to explain in detail what was causing my new floater as well as other things. I sincerely appreciate his attention to detail. The entire staff was friendly. He has a great team. They all really made going to the eye doctor delightful. See you next year!

Both times I scheduled an appointment at this location the staff was arguing right in front of customers and today I tried to schedule an appointment and the person asked for my personal information then put me on hold came back on the line I said hello and she just hung up called back and the same woman answered the phone and I asked did you just hang up in my face she said yes because there was a noise in the background I said im in the hospital and my iv is beeping and she said well im sorry but call back some other time I told her its not that serious you only need a bit of information to schedule the appointment and you can hear me just fine but I told her never mind because her attitude was so horrible ill never go to that doctors office again!
Charles saved the day! I sat on my glasses and needed the adjusted. I was greeted with a friendly smile (under a mask). I didnt purchase my glasses here so I was hoping they could help me. Sure enough Charles had my glasses fixed and fitting better than they were before! Awesome customer service!

If I could give less stars I would! The most painful experience getting eye glasses ever. The woman who took care of me multiple times started out nice, as I have a serious eye condition. THE FOURTH time I received them WRONG FROM THE LAB AGAIN, she told me she was going to give me a full refund bc the next manager wouldnt be so understanding with the situation, and since they couldnt please me I could have my money back! I received a full refund and went to Hunter Eye Care! Paid 1/8 of the price and glasses were perfect the first time! DONT let this company blame you for their horrible lab skills and unimpressive customer service skills. No amount of refund can take away the 6 months I went without eye correction!

Given the number of negative reviews I was hesitant to go to this store. Glad I did as the assistant manager, Lester, took great care in providing me with my new lens. He was professional, skilled, personable and provided great overall service. Trust me he is the best.

Not the best experience Ive had at a LensCrafters. I wanted to order new lenses, so I stopped into the store with my script in hand. The associate looked and said my script was current so they didnt need the one I brought in. The new lenses came in a week later. I took my frame in and left it for an hour for them to install the new lenses. Seemed great... until I got home in front of my computer. Oops.... they didnt have the progressive function for near vision. I went back to the store, had to order the correct progressive lenses and I get to wait another week for them while I am stuck with the distance vision only glasses.
Went in to buy a pair of glasses, found the frame I wanted, and then was told they didnt have the lenses in stock. They said they would ship the glasses to me once the lenses came in. Its now day 11 and I still dont have any glasses or a tracking number. Called in to get a tracking number and was supposed to get a call back, nothing. Never got a call back so now Ive been sitting on hold with a store associate for the last 15 minutes. Absolutely horrible customer service, and follow up. Takes 2 seconds to call a customer with a tracking number and letting them know the glasses shipped.
Denise is a store manager at the LensCrafters across from Starbucks and near the Cheesecake factory. WOW is she incredible. Denise goes above and beyond! My family and I will be lifelong members of LensCrafters due to Denise, she has helped me countless times.
Had a bit of trouble with our insurance and Denise helped us the whole way through. Three visits to get it all figured out and everyone was helpful and understanding. Thank you!

The worst ever. Ive been coming to Lenscrafters for years. I always buy Ray-Ban glasses and sunglasses. Sherri at this location was right out rude. She needs to get talked to about what is real customer service. Their story changes every time you talk to them. They were never clear on anything. And then when my glasses finally showed up. Nobody told me that after buying Ray-Ban glasses for years from Lenscrafters . That they now put their logo on the corners of your lenses and its annoying . There is nothing good to say about this location and their customer service.
This was my go to place for eyeglasses for years. The staff is changing and with it service declining. I just bought a new pair last week. Was told I could buy protection plan on them when I pick up. Well, I picked up today only to be told that policy changed 1 month ago and protection plan no longer available on my lenses. Apparently they cant keep their story straight. Time to find a new eyeglass provider. I wont be back.
Ashley the Regional manager has extremely poor customer service and is the reason behind all of the negative reviews. She simply does not take care of the customer.

Never going back to Lens Crafters. $350 for prescription sunglasses and Im in there every other month to get them adjusted because they keep spreading out & expanding. I told them that I have never ever had this problem with just regular $15 Walmart frames & they proceed to explain the different plastics. Sooo.. these expense frames have lesser quality plastics?? Iβd have to spend $250 to get new lenses put into my cheap Walmart frames because they cant put the existing lenses in a different frame since theyβre specifically made for these frames. Wouldnt give me any discounts either. I told them Ill just go back to using my $10 clip ons. Ugh!!!
Not a good experience at all!!! Went to the location in Independence. Glasses should have been back in 6-10 business days but were not due to a glitch in the system. Felt we should have received a discount (spent close to $1000 for two pair of glasses) but all we got was attitude from the employees in-store and via the customer service line. We will NEVER use Lens Crafters again for our optical needs. We usually go to Eyemasters (Vision Works) but I wanted a different brand they did not carry. Vision Works staff is friendly and efficient. Will definately be going back to them in the future. Avoid going to Lens Crafters (over priced frames & poor service)
Went in to have my lenses swapped out and was told it would be a thirty minute wait. I ended up waiting 2 hours while the employees kept telling me any minute for 90 minutes repeatedly.
They refused to give me a portion of my prescription so I could order somewhere else when they did not carry the lenses I wanted.
Friendly staff. Pricy.
