Not only do they make the best coffee drinks in town but their relationships with other local businesses and artists have been paramount for our community. The service they provide have always been warm and timely. The atmosphere spacious and aesthetically pleasing. A great spot to sit down, get some work done, play board games, chat with others, and peruse the healthy selection of locally crafted items. Dare I say, its THE SPOT for such things. If you happen upon Owensboro, DO NOT sleep on this place. They deserve every bit of your business.

Love this place! The Spot has a very laid back atmosphere and an eclectic aesthetic with homey, mismatched and vintage style furniture that kind of reminds you of your grandmas house. ❤ Lots of local art work hangs on the wall for sale along with handmade jewelry and other items. One of the few places in town I have found where you can pick up crystals and metaphysical supplies. Coffee and sweets are excellent too.

Amazing coffee. Went on a 6 hour trip and it was definitely the best coffee along the way. Will come back anytime we come through.

I will be coming back! The service was friendly and quick.Our drinks were great! I ordered a Carmel macchiato and my fiance ordered a Danny boy. Both were delicious!I also purchased a chocolate chip muffin and it was dense but tasted great.I loved our experience and loved the atmosphere.

I really enjoyed it the atmosphere was nice, definitely a go to to just hang out and chat or even read a book while you enjoy your coffee!

Great clean cute place, the service was wonderful,and by the way local its a local business. They closed @ 2 me and my friend was still talking they never rushed us out or anything.

Always a good experience. Try the Midnight Rider or Danny Boy. Local Artist display there work. I have had some photographic art there and should have some more there soon.

The coffee was superior. The atmosphere was fun. I bought a little soap with a healing crystal inside as well as some Honeysuckle soap. They also sell home made art, jewelry, and walking sticks. I cant wait to check out a live performance ♡

Fun, quirky place with lots of locally handmade items for sale. Great place to hang out for some coffee or grab a unique gift. And, they have a full range of non-dairy substitutions including coconut milk, which is a definite plus for me!

Was beyond pleased. I waited on some coffee because they had just ran out of what I was wanting. The guy made my coffee, gave me a small coffee cup with a little coffee while I was waiting and he brewed a Midnight blend. If youre ever in the mood for coffee, this is the place.

Arrived shortly before close, so take my review with a grain of salt.Had a Autumn Matcha Latte, a frozen hot chocolat mocha, and a Mango smoothie. Smoothie was utterly bland and lackluster, with an odd bitter aftertaste. Matcha Latte tasted strongly of Maple with no Matcha flavor whatsoever. Hot chocolate mocha was devoid of any chocolat flavor and simply tasted like an iced mocha.Guy behind the counter was irritable and vocally complained about us and a small family showing up right at close.Im usually one to promote small local businesses, but I cant find it in me to say if come back to this one or recommend it to others.

The owner was very kind and welcoming. The coffee was some of the best coffee Ive ever tried. The location was good and had some other good shops aroun . Its a must visit if you are ever in the area! I had the big yetty iced and it was so good. Inside the shop you can buy from local artists. They have very good speciality rare coffee beans that are always fresh!

Live music, great drinks, wonderful service. Lost one star because kind of small and cramped, bathroom situation is lame because its one pretty small bathroom and the menu is also a bit confusing. Pricing is on par with other coffee shops. The local art is also an added plus.

Owensboros finest coffee joint. Hidden gem

So first off I typically do not write reviews for businesses especially negative ones but I was left with a few concerns about this place. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was an employee holding an infant while she was making coffee. I am not quite sure if that is allowed. I also noticed that another gentleman working there looked as if he was inebriated or under the influence of something. It is a small shop so not many things can go unnoticed there. I heard conversations between the two employees that were not appropriate for customers to hear. I actually turned around and left the place because I just could not bring myself to stay. Im scared to imagine what activities may be going on in that place.

The Spot Coffee and Finery is one of my favorite spots in Owensboro. They have a very laid back atmosphere and some of the best coffee in the area. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a chill place to grab a cup. Also, they have some really cool stones and minerals, and a bunch of local art that they sell. Check this place out, it is a must in Owensboro!!!
