We go there every time we go to Owensboro. The coffee is to die for! So many flavors to choose from. Neat decor. We like sitting in the patio area. Also, had lunch this time. Which was really good. Will return.

I used to love this place a few years ago. The atmosphere was cozy and it was a great place to come meet new people. They made fantastic (and affordable) coffee and did a great job of supporting local artists and had plenty of events there. Since then, new ownership has ran the place into the ground. Went in recently and it was nearly totally empty on a Friday. It cost me about $7 for a small latte in a styrofoam cup that tasted chalky and cheap. The new atmosphere is terrible too, with the huge clunky chairs and odd furniture placement. It all just feels very uninviting and it’s sad to see.

Eclectic little place. Complete opposite of the Starbucks corporate environment!! The girls working there were very nice and accommodating. My coffee latte was absolutely delicious. And the food was good as well. Try it out and decide for yourself. I would recommend it. Just know that it is NOT meant to be like a Starbucks, and personally I think thats a good thing!

A neat little coffee shop. My dog and I would walk down on Saturday mornings and get a cup of Joe before walking on the beautiful riverfront [Smothers Park]. We need more small mom and pops businesses like this. So much better that the big boy chains. Worth a sit for sip of good coffee.

I will start off by saying I’m a condiment and veggie kinda girl! I got the Lil’ Porky. Ham, salami, pepperoni, cheese on rye(I believe). No veggies, no condiments. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I saved half and ate the rest another day with mayonnaise, spicy mustard, and kens house Italian dressing (too lazy to cut up some veggies). Omg!!! Move over Subway!!! Grab an Island Time smoothie also! You won’t be disappointed! Perfect location for a picnic by the park/River!! I can’t wait to return!

Normally I enjoy this coffee shop but tonite showed a whole new side! Customer service was horrible! I ordered a sandwich and coffee, was informed very fast that she had already shut the grill off and we would have to have cold sandwiches. It was 7:30pm. My friend and both ordered sandwiches. Hers was not cut had when we asked for mayonnaise and was told that we had to bring sandwiches back in. Then argued with us that mayonnaise was on the sandwich.We were eating outside . My coffee was wrong, I ordered regular coffee with cream, I received something with sweet foamy stuff! When I requested another cup. She abruptly told me it would be a while since she had to make another pot!I had to go Also, she didnt even bring our sandwiches, plopped them down on counter when I told her about wrong coffee . At 7:57, I went back inside and asked for my pastry. Which she said she forgot. Also forgot our recipes. Which I asked for

I love the atmosphere and the coffee are awesome tried several different flavors at three different times Ive been there I love the outside garden at the back and the location right on the main through a fair downtown Owensboro!

There is nothing more pleasing that an absolutely delicious coffee or even and incredibly tasty smoothie and this place delivers hands down!! There is nothing that I wouldnt recommend at this place. I order daily and wouldnt dream of going anywhere else! Keep up the good work Creme team!!

Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, small library, polite and friendly staff, nice music and bands, fun checkers and card games. Its a great place to bring your friends or chill solo for some peace. The coffee and food is expensive, but well worth the satiating taste. Give it a try and you probably wont regret it!

This is such a cute little place. The food and coffee were great. I got an almond joy iced coffee and it was delicious. The ladies behind the counter were so pleasant and they were quick! We come back to Owensboro every year and we will be going here every time now.

Good place that has the potential to be greatThe best thing about this place is its shabby-chic atmosphere. There is definitely a cool vibe to the atmosphere that make it unique. The awful country music playing doesnt really fit in my opinion, but if thats your thing, it might work. The place could also do with a bit of basic cleaning, as there was a fair amount of debris on the floor first thing on a Monday morning.Coffee is good. Im sorry the same cant be said of the food. Perhaps it was the staff working when I came in, but the breakfast sandwich was a cold piece of cheese, cold piece of ham, with a lukewarm piece of precooked egg on a bagel- yum. The staff was friendly, but not particularly attentive to anything but her phone.I might give this place another try. Perhaps this was just an off day, as many of the other reviews are glowing.

Great atmosphere, back patio is my favorite. And over all usually a great place. But today was different. Guy making drinks this day seemed very abrupt. Kinda slow with how big of a crowd there was. Like no sense of urgency. But over all I love this place for its home town roots to the OB

Have been coming to this jewel of Owensboro for years, awesome staff exquisite atmosphere that could accommodate anyone! Party’s are priced cheap, and the condo is a fun to rent !! Recommend! Customer incentive program get me a free drink from time to time. Will continue to enjoy this coffee shop with my family on forward. A true must try small business.

The Creme is its own original thing. Very open-minded vibes and has. Dark back room for getting lost in a book or chilling with the head phones or a bright front room for being more social if you want. The owner is chill.

I want to support small local businesses now more than ever. But I was disappointed with what I got here. The coffee was okay but it was served warm, not hot. I ordered a ham and Swiss sandwich, which was just that. Ham and Swiss on bread. No mustard. No lettuce. They werent even offered.

I ordered my go to honeybee latte. I was talking with the barista/owner (?) about how much I loved European cappuccinos and he made this for me. It is a “breve-something or other”, I can’t remember. This is the best espresso drink I have had in the USA. Amazing depth and layers of taste. Thank you so much for the hospitality and experience!

My past experiences would rate the coffee shop higher. I always try to support local and always visit The Creme when in town visiting family. Unfortunately the owner was working today and not wearing a mask despite the state mask mandate being still in force.

The girl working the front was so ridiculously fun and friendly and just was the cherry on top of such a unique place. If you havent been go.If you think maybe change that to a yes and fet your butt there. This place is way to good to not be busy 24/7. I will be back many more times!

Great coffee, funky indoor seating, nice artsy feel in downtown Owensboro. My only gripe: not a soul wore a freaking mask. Nobody behind the counter had a mask on, very few (perhaps one out of six) wore masks, and people were absolutely not six feet a part. If the weather is nice, outdoor seating is available. On rainy days, it might be best to hold off on the fancy coffee until theres a COVID vaccine.

First time here, but my girlfriend is a local. Very tasty drink! Very friendly staff too. The music and atmosphere is pretty good. I will definitely be returning.

Very hipster and bohemian, too much for me personally, seems like a cool place for college kids to hang out though. Food was clean but the environment itself seemed dusty. Staff was friendly.

When we travel, we always look for a locally independently owned coffee shops and not the franchises or corporate stores. I came across this in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. What a treat! I tried their macchiato and it was delicious. You will need to ask for the real macchiato and not what some presume to be s macchiato. The atmosphere and the decor was exactly what I go for. Funky and comfort.

Love/hate relationship. Its convenient because it is downtown and a couple blocks from work, but recipes are different with every batista. No consistency. The wait time is always ridiculous . I have to prepare myself to be there 15 mins to get my coffee to go

Its an awesome place for all kinds of people; young or old. Very respectful and professional employees who uphold their reputation as laid back and customer first. Id highly recommend this place to all who love the laid back environment with awesome people and great food and coffee of your choosing. Well I got stood up for first date I was going to have there. That was definitely not my best first impression. The mocha on the other hand was amazing. I loved the decor and atmosphere. We were only there for my step daughter to request a job application, so I cant rate their wares. But, with only 1 couple in line before us, I felt like the wait time was ridiculous. We were there for almost 20 minutes before the supervisor gave us her attention (AFTER SHE WENT OUT BACK OF THE CAFE FOR 5 MINUTES - I ASSUME FOR A BREAK.) If wed been customers, I possibly would NOT return just because the way the 2 visible employees (1 of which was a supervisor) seemed to ignore our presence.

I go here all the time and service is wonderful. If youve tried everything on the menu, and its all good, theyre always having new drinks and food available every month. The atmosphere is comfortable and the design is cute and quirky. Theyre always hosting events like trivia, open mic, ect. Its a great place to get a good drink and relax, or try something new.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee on our first visit, but the customer in front of us was picking up a chiller, and it looked so good we went with it. We was not disappointed!Loved the decor! I’ve been going to the Creme since I was in my early teens and the atmosphere has changed into something I really didn’t expect. Instead of calling to all ages, it particularly speaks to a demographic above 30. Being a city with 4 colleges, shouldn’t it focus on a more broad demographic? Not to mention that 2 small lattes cost more than $10. Loved the drinks, a welcoming staff, just a few things that turned me off.

This coffee shop was so unique with big chairs that were so cool for photos! They have coffee sleeves you can leave and take from different places. A must visit. I tried the vanilla honey iced latte and my husband had the rattle snake. We both enjoyed our drinks. They were however very pricey. For two larges and one with soy it was $13. Its location was in downtown surrounded by many cute little shops and food places by a waterfront with great views.

Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is chill. Mix match furniture is homey and lends to a relaxed attitude. The staff are friendly and welcoming. This was my first time but I was treated like a regular.

As soon as you begin walking up to the coffee shop you begin to feel how awesome and classy this place is going to be. The exterior showcases a large-scale model of a coffee mug above their entrance and the building that Creme Coffee is centralized in is of an old rustic type. Simple but definitely not artless. Especially once you see the inside. Very tasteful and the props/artwork utilized are wonderful. Excellent selection of specialty drinks. I felt very relaxed in here and comfortable. Loved the energy of this place!

Awesome! Lavender Chai was delicious! Such a fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Love the cool vibes and aesthetics! My two boys especially loved the egg chairs!

The back patio is such a sweet place to have a date or hang out with friends! Also, highly recommend any of the desserts they offer if you need a fix for your sweet tooth.

Stopped in with a friend and got a couple cappuccinos and a blueberry muffin. Almost over-the-top quirky, funkified interior with miss-matched items and confusing floor/seating areas (we heard this was fairly recent new interior and it looked like the owner had a blast making this place look and feel eccentric). Counter staff was friendly and the cappuccinos were very good. Best thing was all the locals who came in--of all ages and occupations--and no hipsters!

Teen girl hangout. When I was there I saw 1 cherry tart and a stale cupcake. They were out of decaf.

This place really used to be one of my favorite places in town, always loved to go. However under this new management it has started to go downhill. First of all the ‘king and queen’ chairs are way too big for the small space. Not to mention how the prices has gone up a bit. Now they are throwing in tea parties and birthday stuff, rather than just a cozy coffee shop that it used to be. No offense to the new owners but I suggest going somewhere else with more space and a more modern landscape, I really prefer the old antique cozy atmosphere that this shop once held. Where you could feel inspired and be able to meet new people, the books they used to set out to write in really made the place feel like a kind of home. To me it has treasured so many memories and has sparked some of the best ideas, not to mention my go-to spot if I want to go anywhere. I apologize if this seems rude, I just hope the old Creme can come back.
