This is my first ever review, this place is that amazing. Their workers, are so polite, and nice. The way our world is, there’s nothing like grabbing a coffee and having the sweetest people hand it to you with honor.
This location used to be the best. Amazing service and very good drinks. I spend alot of $ here each week but lately 4 out of 5 times going my order is wrong, they dont seem happy to be there and appear not quite as friendly as they once were.
Disfunction at its finest. Waited 45 minutes for a pickup order. Everyone behind the counter looks lost every time I go in. I’m going back to Dunkin’!!
Love all the workers at this location. They are always in a good mood and greet me when I walk in. At this point they already know what I want and usually have it within a minute. I personally dont see how they do it because its usually always so busy there.

Im probably biased - no, definitely biased. I think Starbucks is a great experience. A lot of people I know bash the coffee prices. They dont understand youre not just paying for the amazing coffee (or food), but that youre also getting to take part in an experience.Cant wait for the pandemic to be over so I can sit inside and enjoy an iced mocha.
I normally stop at this location because it is closer to my house. It used to be a joy going there, but over the past couple of years things have drastically changed. The staff are cold and they act as though you are wasting their time. I asked for brown sugar to be added to my drink because they were out of that syrup and she said that they couldn’t do that because there was no way possible to ring that up. Hmmm, funny that they find a way to do that at the other store??! I have been going to this Starbucks for many years, but now Frederica will be my only stop. It is worth leaving my house earlier for some kindness in the morning.
Gruyere & bacon egg bites are the best! We love the refreshers too. The staff is always friendly & courteous too.
Never been in a Starbucks with so many flies and other flying nats/bugs. They need to do something about this as it gets to be a pain sitting inside to work and eat my food I just bought.
Everytime my wife has gone to this location her orders taste terrible. The espresso tastes old and they are extremely frugal on their flavored syrup pumps. Even with 3 different flavor additions you could only taste the stale, old coffee.
The customer service is outstanding! Atmosphere is welcoming and like walking in to visit friends! Wonderful staff that want to provide the best experience possible! They have never let me down and they remember my coffee preferences (I add peppermint most of the time) down to how many flavor pumps and that I never want whipped topping! When I tried the juniper latte they even offered to make my regular if I didnt like it ( btw I loved it! )
Staffs always friendly! Theres usually a really long line in the drive-thru but its always speedy.
Their Carmel Macchiato is so delicious and so is their Strawberry Funnel Cake Frappiceno is so delicious 😋 too.

One of the workers was too attached to our faces instead of what we were ordering. Our order went in one ear and straight out the other. We originally ordered 2 Caramel ribbon crunches and received one so then we ordered another one and they ended up giving us the complete opposite drink.
Today I ordered my coffee ahead (which is normal for me). When I pull up, there is a HUGE line in the drive through. At least 25+ cars. So I try to go inside. Its locked. I hop in line because Ive already ordered and paid for my drink. I call the store to see if I can cancel my order because I really dont have time to wait for 25 cars to go through and get their order. They dont answer. I call again. The lady that answers said they are short staffed and cannot open the lobby. I asked if I could cancel my order, she said they cannot do that over the phone and my option was to hop in line and wait. She mentioned they will most likely not have the lobby open all week because of staffing.Heres the thing. I understand about staffing. Im in charge of scheduling employees at my job and its NOT easy. However, what I DO NOT understand is why the website/google/app is not updated to let customers know that the lobby is closed. I specifically checked on the app to make sure the lobby was open so I could run in, grab my coffee, and get on the road. I didnt have time to wait in line, but here I am waiting (and being late), because the websites are not up to date with accurate information.Please Starbucks, update your media sites so we all know what we are getting into before we come. Also, please train your employees to be a little more sympathetic over the phone.

Awesome service! I have a particular drink order that baristas typically don’t make the way I prefer (to no fault of their own, I was a Starbucks barista once!) but these baristas made it exactly how I like it! Quad on ice with 5 white mocha, 2 toffee nut and a splash of cream, 10/10 copycat Vietnamese coffee! Thank you very much! :)
Friendly drive thru experience.Would just like to say though that it is hard to get the cold drinks mixed with no straw. Why even offer an iced carmel macciato if you cant get to the carmel till the drink is halfway gone and I can finally swish it around in the cup?

There is one person who is at the drive thru window and she is rude. Dosent greet us. Dosent say anything except when she gives us our order. She says have a good one. Very surprised at the rude behavior. We have always been treated kind at this location and other Starbucks locations. I have some advice. Starbucks should not employ people who have no customer service skills! She has no customer service skills whatsoever. Not good for your company image. Makes us not want to go to this location anymore.
This starbucks is staffed by passive aggressive soyboy chucks. The ladies who work there are nice, though.
We have been in the drive through line for over a half an hour now 47 minutes to be precise the line isnt that long they are literally taking 5 minutes a car or more. I have actually tyoed this entire review and they aee still trying to give the drinka to the car in front of us. RIDICULOUS

Drinks were great but the customer service is lacking. This location used to be great with both but has majorly gone down hill. Not to mention the wait times are insane.
I think Monda was her name.Anyways i order my drinks I asked if they had oatmilk she said not at that location yet but gave me alternatives (almond milk, soy, etc.) She specifically asked if i wanted almond milk again. I said no. Just make it how it comes. As im pulling up, my husband informs me he wants almond milk 🙄 I get to the window and ask if its been made already (I had a few drinks) because my husband wanted almond milk. She said it was made already but theyd be happy to remake it. I said no thats okay he should have told me sooner. She said she will remake it and understands completely. She asked one of the other ladies to remake it and no one had an attitude about it. They simply remade it. I know how annoying that can be and how it holds up the line so I have to make this and say thank you to her and the rest if the staff that worked that day. Will definitely be back

The cashier holds up the entire line she is so slow. 2nd time this week huge slow line and her in the window. Need the fastest Nd friendliest person in the window not slowest and grumpiest. But what really irritated me was the fact that they totally messed up my venti white mocha. Not sure what it was, but this was the 2nd time in 2 weeks. Coupled with the service I think I can just skip the 7 dollar sugar rush. Not worth waiting in line for 20 minutes to get the wrong drink again.
Please turn the mobile order option off when you only have drive thru open! Twice this has happened to me and I was late for work! 22 minutes in line waiting for my mobile order. And I wasn’t the only one that was late for work. Then I was told to make sure I tell them at the box I am mobile order.... there won’t be a next time ....

I love Starbucks! I mostly purchase drinks. Coffee in the morning and sometimes a dragon fruit for my daughter later in the day. We love using the app to purchase before we get there. It speeds up our trip and the drink is always correct.

I dont do coffee. It smells great but my body freaks out when I drink it. I was getting gift cards for my daughter in laws both Feb birthdays. They have to have their favorite drinks. Got to please the girls.
Disappointed. They know how I like my drink sometimes and sometimes they dont. They remade my drink tonight two more times and still didnt make it right. Last time I was there it was perfect.
The drink was good, the service was lacking. Messed up my order, so I had to wait twice as long. Barista was rude. But ill be back because Owensboro doesnt really have a comparable alternative coffee shop

I love visiting Starbucks. Love the coffee. This particular one was a little difficult to get into the parking lot. It was pretty busy but Id visit again if Im in the neighborhood.

5 stars all the way for this star bucks in Owensboro ky. While in college I have been going here for years to study and each time I was greeted by wonderful people that always helped me find the right kind of coffee. All the employees are absolutely wonderful. If I could remember the few that really show energy, kindness, and dedication I would love to put their names on here but sadly I dont know any of their names. Just in case they can read this comment keep up the hard work! even going through drive-thru during this pandemic is great because everyone is all smiles and full of energy. Thank you all so much for the hard work it makes my day seeing you guys. :)
Any time I go to this starbucks my order is wrong, my drink is half filled, or they dont even say anything to you and just shove your drink in your face. Ive worked in food service and know how things are and Im always extremely polite when I go through. If youre not going to greet me or tell me thank you, at least fill my drink as full as it should be.

Love the Starbucks location on Hwy 54. Staff knows you personally and what you usually order. My favorite drink is the black iced tea with strawberry infusion.
We were waiting in line for 20 mins and it wasnt even closed yet. And they closed the drive thru we were one car away from getting our order taken. Bad customer service

I sat in drive thru for 15 mins, to receive the wrong drink. It was half full. Went into the restaurant and the guy behind the counter was extremely rude. Rudely took my drink out of my hand and dumped it down the drain. Then proceed to ask if I want my money back or a new drink. I asked for my money back after his rudeness. I will never go back there again! Some people need to know what customer service is!
Great coffee but the prices are way too high I will never return it was 13 dollars for 2 medium caramel machaitos.

Their customer service is much better than the original Frederica location. The inside is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Your drinks are made in a prompt matter, even if you go through the drive-thru. I have been going to 54 ever since they opened.
The baristas here are very friendly. I highly recommend this location over the frederica st location. They are really fast, wait time is always short. I get the skinny mocha with coconut milk. I do hate that you have to pay extra coconut milk. Easy accessible wifi, but limited amount of outlets if you need to charge your laptop.
Got a Frappuccino from here a week ago or so and it was the perfect consistency! I used the drive thru and the experience was great!
