My favorite market in town. I typically find the freshest produce here. In love with their bulk options and the organic brand products they offer. They support local farms, apothecaries, and other small businesses; which is the gift that keeps on giving. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming — think genuine local southern hospitality. All of my interactions with the staff are lovely and always helpful. 10/10 would also recommend their seasonal food offerings. Absolutely delicious always — especially the vegan options!

Awesome shop! Friendly staff. I was in town making stir fry. I tried the vegan fish sauce, they were out of other options. Dude!! Lucky for me, I might just stick with Vegan fish sauce. You wont need Braggs Aminos or soy sauce though😁👍 Oh, the tofu salad was on point too.....so flavorful.

This place is a hidden gem. I love the local flowers and produce! The staff are so nice and knowledgeable. Meat and fish are quality. Frequent here often!

This store is refreshing, since the selection of food in Oxford is really lacking and you are able to buy food from local farmers. I have gone here ever since they opened and have started to notice that a few things are off.Some of my problems have been that no expiration date has been posted on some of their food, sometimes without ingredient information. Sometimes the bread has molded just a day after I bought it. Their spices and dried food have no information on where it is from, just a Chickory label and that’s it. Asked the employee where it was from and he said he didn’t know but I could search it on Amazon. (This was about a year ago)Here is the worst part, which made me decide to write this review.Sometimes they sell salmon from Norway. This is the most toxic salmon you can eat, which it is also the most common salmon you can find. (These salmon are fed fish from the Baltic Sea, which is the most polluted part of the ocean) I encourage you to do your own research about this topic. I am just appalled that Chickory would treat salmon from Norway as a delicacy and not bar it from being sold there. On top of this, they definitely hike up the price (Salmon from Norway is known for being cheap) because they know people will buy it. This sucks. I thought Chickory was better than this. This blatant misleading people makes me feel really suspicious about their other products and I definitely trust them less after knowing this.Other than that this is a great store but you kind of have to be selective about what you purchase

I liked it it was very different from what Im used to when I went there I kind of got a whole foods vibe but they had a lot more exclusive things in my opinion just a wide a way of things definitely worth a visit lots of local stuff lots of natural stuff very nice people

There are good produce but be careful with the ones without price tag. For instance, you can pay $8 for a loaf of bread.Update: 12/8/18The bread is now priced. OkI bought 8oz of butter today that didnt have a price tag. I was shocked that it ended up being $7.27. Im sorry but its way over priced. You can find organic good quality butter in any other store for close to half price.

Best compliment I can give this place is that it has literally given me back 1-2 hours of my time a week. I no longer have to go fight the crowds at Kroger. They have a great selection of produce, bulk self-serve grains, local meat, eggs, and all the spices and other staples I really need. They have great prepared stuff like chicken salad and fantastic lunch food. Im extremely grateful that I now have a smaller, local grocery that going to is actually a relaxing experience. Id give it 10 out of 5 if I could.

This is one of my favourite things in Oxford. This is a fantastic store. Its small so you can shop quickly, but theres a lot of great stuff, so I can do nearly all my grocery shopping here. Great local produce when in season, supplemented with products from farther away when not in season here. Local grits and rice. Some local meat and chicken. Browns milk. Great collection of frozen foods and veggies. Some prepared foods too (hummus, gumbo...). Barbecue in the parking lot most weekends. Theres a lot more Im leaving out, but I think I just shared the list of stuff I buy regularly. The staff here are really friendly and helpful.

This mask thing has gotten way out of hand... these folx want you to wear masks and gloves, only 4 people in the store at a time and only one person for your car... We drove a good distance to come down and check this place out... I guess the whole city of Oxford has lost their minds.

I love shopping here for many of my grocery needs. They have a nice selection of produce, dried goods, meats, and dairy- much of it local! Some things are a little pricey but it is worth it knowing the products are organic and my money is supporting local business and agriculture! Love this store! There was a big gap in the Oxford food scene when the Farmers Market store closed - so wonderful to have this new shop in its old premises. From reasonably priced delicious chicken to Browns Family Dairy milk in glass bottles, to Sweet Magnolia ice cream, to local fruit and veg and eggs, to basic staples, including bulk dried goods, this place fulfills most of our shopping needs. The best part is that theyre still ramping up and keep adding new products! Chicory Market makes shopping a happy experience.

I LOVE this place! They had so many gluten free options for Asian condiments/ingredients. I spent too much, haha. They also had sushi grade fish when I went (temporary item I believe). I will definitely head here the next time I need fresh produce. Super fun and adorable place to get healthy + gf + local options.

Frienldy staff but everything is overpriced ! The biggest disappointment came today when I purchased some chicken salad it was overly covered in mayonnaise too much that you could see nothing but mayonnaise and raisins and grapes. I wonder who made that?

A bit pricey but I bought some peaches here and I can promise they were the best I have ever eaten.

Amazing awesome little place they have a lot of fresh produce and cool products there. They also have a guy that sells the BEST BBQ out of their shop as well. It is some of the best BBQ I have ever had.A very cool little place, where many fresh fruits and vegetables are sold, including ancho chiles and guajillos. Ive never seen a place here in Oxford where you can buy chili peppers this fresh. There is also a guy there who sells the best BBQ I have ever eaten, its incredible!
