My Very pregnant daughter, her husband and her Stepfather came in on Saturday to buy the Dodge Journey you had listed on your website. Your sales person told her that that vehicle wasn’t for sale. It was a service vehicle and wouldn’t be for sale for a month or so. But it was listed in your add with a price. Also said you didn’t have another Journey on the lot. And they went in and took it down from the site. He didn’t off to see if he could get her one from another dealer. He didn’t want to bother. I called to see how it was going and she was in tears. Frustrated. She was trying to get something before the baby comes because her husband had to totaled their truck and they need 2 vehicles. I looked online found someone at Elliott Dodge in Mt. pleasant. She was signing papers 30 minutes after arriving paying way above what yours was listed at with 0.9% financing. We all drive Dodges in our family and due to your False Advertising and lack of trying we will never use you again. I own a business and I will make sure everyone that sets in my chair knows what type of business you run and will advise them to shop elsewhere!!!!

This review is long over due, but I feel it is more important then ever to leave. Especially since mine and my husbands recent nightmare, at a different dealership.We purchased a used 2014 Dodge Ram truck from them in February 2016. We found it listed online. We reached out to them and told them we would like to test drive it. We were told it would be washed and waiting up front for when we arrive. Tanner was our salesman. He was very professional and had the truck ready as promised. We had our own financing arranged with our local bank. The finance manager offered to beat our banks rate, which he did! Signing was a breeze. They offered us an extended warranty and we told them we werent interested and they left it at that. The price was exactly what was listed! I wish all dealerships made car buying this enjoyable and stress free!I have to say it was quite hilarious, because a couple weeks prior to this, a dealership told us we were looking for a unicorn. Well James Hodge had our Unicorn!

We called for an appointment for my RAM and my son’s RAM. He had tried calling Jay Hodge but no one would answer the phone. After 10 minutes, I told him we would go to James Hodge in Paris Texas. We got an appointment the next morning. My vehicle only needed a fuel filter change. My son’s RAM was still under warranty and they fixed the front drive leak. This time it was repaired correctly. It makes a big difference when you can take your vehicle to a place where you can trust the people and the service provided. I usually deal with Chris, but Joey gave us the same great service I have come to expect from James Hodge’s dealership!

We purchase a Vehicle from This location in November 2020, 2 weeks later started having issues with it starting and an unusual noise coming from under the truck. I called to have the truck seen, tech kept it twice for several days at a time and couldn’t find the issue or fix it but said if we had anymore issues to bring it back. 9 months later the truck still makes the same noise and won’t start at all. Come to find out all this time the starter was going out. I called James hodge and spoke to Montgomery (General Manager) explaining all this to him. He tells me “he’s going to check into it and call me back.”He calls back and says he’s “sorry” and he refuses to repair something that wasn’t repaired in the beginning when we bought the truck and brought it in the first time cause the tech noted “he didn’t know what the noise and issue was” I asked him why he couldn’t fix something that has been going on since we bought it, he couldn’t give me a reason and ended up hanging up in my face.Needless to say DO NOT PURCHASE HERE. They are NOT about their word and do NOT back their products or work. We are now paying $30,000 for a vehicle that had this issue when we bought it. It’s sad and I will NEVER spend another dime with them because of this.

Talked to Michael Middleton, it’s not a circus but this dude jumped through hoops to help me get into a newer vehicle with many many more options for a cheaper monthly price. Friday afternoon we were driving from Kansas City to Tyler and the air conditioner started malfunctioning. We called the nearest Dodge dealership which was in Paris, TX, and asked if we could have someone check it out. We got right in, they fixed the problem and we were on our way in a little over an hour. Everyone was friendly and Joey took great care of us. We highly recommend this dealership.

SERVICE DEPT. Been having problems with my SUV took it to Paris James Hodge 2 different times. First time we were told a sensor needed to be replaced so we told them to replace the sensor. Second time we were told Oh it needs new spark plugs so we let them replace the spark plugs. Well the vehicle is still having the SAME problems! I took it to them a 3rd time...yes 3 times. Wouldnt have had a problem this time until the service man said that apparently someone else had worked on the vehicle before bringing it to them the first time!!! NO SIR!!! James Hodge has been the only ones to work on that SUV!! I do not take to being called a liar or to be taken advantage of when the continued problems puts my family and myself in danger!!!! Will not be taking my business here again!

I could only give a 5 star rating because the rating system doesnt go higher than that. The service department is full of honest and hard working people. They were committed to servicing our vehicle. Because of Covid 19, the repair took longer than expected. (They had to wait for the delivery truck and the trucks were only coming twice a week.) They also loaned us a vehicle due to the fact that we had an hour drive. Chris was in constant contact with my husband so we never had to wonder what was going on with our car. I 100% recommend the Paris, Tx location to ANYONE having issues with their vehicle.

From my experience in the last week, Curt you need to get you some more honest mechanics. Because you saw where you were lied to as well, because didnt NO one call me or leave me a message. If they lie about something simply as that what make you think they not lying about what they done to my car. They had plenty of time to do whatever they wanted to do with my car. And then they changed their story and said they pulled my car in the shop and just let it set back there for 2 1/2 hours 😠😡. Seriously and recall I had just gotten off work and then we had to set in the cold waiting area for 2 1/2 now that was very disrespectful and on top of that no one came to let us know what was going on and all we wanted them to do was check out our two tire sensors on the back. And one of your mechanics said my front right sensors was still under warranty. But they didnt do nothing to my car🤔🙄 come on now. Just think about it how many peoples have they done like this, from my point of view they tried to come up on some extra cash but thats not going happen. And I had just told my husband to just let them fixed my car, but something hit me and I took it to get it checked out before I give yall $600 for nothing and look I was right yall lied to us once again. But hey they can keep what they took off and I will travel 60 to 80 or even 100 miles before I let your mechanics touch my car ever again. So please keep a close eye on your services department because something not right and Im going continue to let everyone know what happened to me. And Curt you and Chris seems like some good guys but some of yall workers are not. And the sad part about this I bought my very first vehicle from James Hodges back in 1995 and 2019 I got reaped off WOW a very sad case.

I contacted the sales team not knowing exactly what to expect beings this is the first brand new car i have ever purchased, but to much surprise the experience was awesome. The car was perfect, the price was right and Adam really got down to business in securing financing at an interest rate I wanted. The entire process took less than a day and it was all done over the phone. All i had to do was show up, sign paperwork and drive the car off. The sales department is outstanding! However their service department lacks severely. I took my new Ram 3500 in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. They failed to check the tire pressure. Then at a later date the check engine light came on. They picked the truck up for service, upon return the check engine light was still on. The vehicle now has to go back to the dealership for further evaluation. It makes me question what else they are failing to address. What other service checks are they failing to preform. The documentation they provided (inspection sheet) shows no evidence of being traceable to my vehicle. The computer printout does but the corresponding document only show check marks.

We took our 2014 Ram into the James Hodge service department for routine maintenance as we do when we are home and the truck needs service. While waiting I like to look at the new trucks on the lot. Marshal came out, we chatted about trucks in general and one in particular that caught my eye. If youre looking for somewhere where they will treat you like dirt, have absolutely no interest in answering your questions, and give you the absolutely worst customer service they can muster up, this is the place for you! I love how disinterested they are in pleasing their customers, and they always get you in & out quickly by making sure you never want to come back.Weve owned Dodges in the past and have always been forced to go to an out-of-town dealership for service due to how terrible their service department is. We recently purchased a new 2017 Dodge (again from an out-of-town dealer) and thought wed give them another try today on asking about ordering another part. We werent surprised that their customer service hadnt improved at all. The guy helping us didnt want to take time out of his day to look anything up, denied the part existed (even when their building is covered in advertising for it) and then gave us a roundabout estimate of somewhere between $500-$1000 before turning his back and ignoring us completely.

I had a blown head gasket that lead to the engine needing to be replaced (the temperature gauge wasnt showing it as overheating so we had no idea until it was too late). I was worried sick at what it was going to cost, whether it was warrantied or if my family and I would be on foot. Robert did an awesome job of walking me through both the repair and the warranty process, and made sure the vehicle service plan company didnt rip me off (they definitely tried!). The vehicle service plan guys sent a used motor as a replacement. The first one didnt look good so Robert sent it back and made sure they sent a decent one. Jeffrey did a great job of replacing the engine, it runs even better than the old one. I really expected to get raked over the coals with a blown engine, but these guys made the experience much easier to get through and the price was reasonable, especially considering the vehicle service plan could have left me high and dry if Robert hadnt held them accountable.

I emailed the dealership the night before and a email saying Tanner would be in contact so I provided my cell phone. The dealership opens at 8 am and by 1130 I had not heard back so I called and left a message. After talking to Tanner he said he does not start until 10 and that he had a customer. I asked to speak to the GM Who was Curt and asked why someone else could have not reached out to me and he said that they are a small town and Tanner is the only one on the internet so no one else could have contacted me and that know one else receives any emails. Vehicle was as described on the web site. Completing the transaction was quick and I encountered no problems.Correction to above. I have been waiting for my paperwork (Title, Etc) and have not received it (30 days). I have contacted dealer (sales and finance) and have no response.

Just bought Jeep Compass 2014 from the dealership very clean car low mileage Great Price great customer service! I understand i bought it as is no warranty But, yep here is the but. Drove the car twice and took it from Hugo Oklahoma back to Paris used over 1/4th tank of gas. Last one i owned years back did the same thing. This morning drove to doctors office and came out and battery was dead. Called dealership talked with Rick and was told there was nothing they could do since i was offered a warranty on the car $3,000.00 cost and declined. Plus i had the car a week. Also told me i must have left the lights or something on overnight. I told him that did not happen. So bought a new battery this morning $178.00 at auto zone. So please beware of what the dealership says they have checkout before they resell a used car. I would think, but i might be wrong that they could tell if the battery was weak. It was the manufacturer battery so it was ready go anyway.I will say every one was nice and professional and quick to help us while we were there not so much so just days after the sale. Do not buy a Compass new or used unless you want a money pit spent in gas and repairs. The only reason i bought the car was because it was the only one out of three they let me choose from.because of my credit . Yet i put 3,000.00 cash down on this car.Thankyou for your time reading this.

Adam Parson is your go to guy. Most dealers I have dealt with are in your face and arrogant. Makes me feel really uncomfortable, he was none of those. If you want to have the best car buying experience ask for Adam Parson.

My in laws live in Paris so I decided to get my welding rig serviced at James hodge! Chris in service department great guy fast service! I was super impressed with how quick they changed my oil fuel filter and rotation on tires. Deff on top of their game!🤙🏻🤠
