This store is with out a doubt the greatest store I have been too, they were helpful, they were caring they were absolutely the sweetest.I would and will always recommend going to this store rather than the store in Vienna, Justin the manager there is phenomenal and his staff was excellent, you can really see that they all have the customers values and best interest at hand! Im not sure what good these reviews do but they all deserve a little something for the way they treat their customers, A+++ Im thrilled with my experience and I want it to be known that this Store is a good store, Management, Employees everything! I went into the store expecting the typical “sales” experience where they would try to push expensive things onto me that I don’t need. What I got however was a genuine human being who listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to change my mind or give me anything I couldn’t use. I ended up buying my accessories and even a watch too from here simply because they weren’t trying to sell me something for no reason | He explained how they could make my life easier. Justin was amazing and REAL! definitely the best experience I’ve ever had in a phone store and because of him I’ll keep Verizon even though they are more expensive than the competition.

After leaving a long and terrible detailed review about the people who dont truly care about their customers and just want to get them screwed into owing money whether they give the customer what they came there to get or not, turns out they care more than most places like it. Despite not being able to deliver promised prices twice, all the workers and management ladder did their best to make things right and even went out of their way to call me to try and work things out. Even the employee i disagreed harshly with treated me well on my next visit. Still expensive tho so the score is based solely on customer service, however a star was removed due to women there not being educated on products & lying to get sales. Had to file report with PPD over not getting a refund that was supposedly processed. *Edited*

Extremely rude management. A call was placed to discuss with manager about a degrading and embarrassing encounter that happened in the store on Saturday, July 3rd with a sales associate and customer. The manager answered the call, stated he was the sales associate during this encounter and hung up without attempting to apologize. Very poor customer service. I do not recommend this store if you have little technical knowledge and need a little patience and consideration.

The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure I was taken care of. Brittany especially, went above and beyond to make my phone buying expirence pain free.

Gross negligence and lack of customer service skills displayed by the two staff members at 8pm to myself and this other older gentleman I spoke with. We waited in the store 30 minutes and not once did we receive any kind of greeting or acknowledgement that we would be assisted after the current customers they were helping was concluded. We sat at the counter in middle of store and I also looked at a few phones I intended on buying. Even after I said out loud I was going to another store that knew how to greet customers and let them know they were seen and would be taken care of as soon as they finished up with current customers. Nothing was said to me, just ignored.. outside the store the older gentleman asked me if I could help him because he just had a question about his VERIZON bill text message and didnt understand it, I said yes sir sure no problem so I looked and explain it to him and he was very grateful... I have all 5 star reviews for my business because I know how to treat people and I think I could teach those two employees a thing or two. Fortunately for verizon I had met two others at the store previously who did a much better job, one of them being the store manager I believe, so Im not holding Verizon accountable as a whole for the acts of two employees that could greatly benefit from some simple training in their people skills. I give more positive reviews than negative reviews when earned. Id put them on probation or extended leave if they didnt change real fast. The small things do matter in life and business. Im only changing carriers for the coverage, period, definitely not the high prices or lack of appreciation. NEW UPDATE: The two associates referenced in this review have since corrected their deficiencies and I feel much better about this stores overall customer service. Thank you for responding and working hard to make this right!

Jeremy was great. My phone screen got broken and had to get a new phone. Jeremy walked me through what needed to be done.

Jeremy did an amazing job helping me did forget to give me my discount on my plug though LOL. But other than that I contacted him numerous times on the afternoon and he walked me through assisting me with my new 12 pro plus max. I would recommend Verizon wireless and the southside Parkersburg office to anybody. Thank you again Jeremy you did an amazing job.

Honestly, I do not know how this location is still in business! They got my wife and I on the classic bait and switch. We thought we were buying iPhone 11’s buy one get one free. Down the road we discover that we didn’t even get close to a free phone. We got $350 off. Which means they got us for about $810. They admitted to misquoting us that promotion but would do nothing about it to make it right. Clearly they are lacking effective managment. Do whatever it takes to make the sale!!!!!!!

There was only 1 agent there for a time but she did an awesome job getting people taken care of once the other agent got there it was even better very knowledgeable although the prices for the phone case was high and screen protector even higher that was my only complaint

Jeremy at Verizon on Pike street Parkersburg, Is an outstanding asset to this company. Being in the Service business for over 15 years I know a loyal employee when I meet one. From the second he said hello to the moment he said goodbye I felt he had MY interest at heart. He also explained everything I wanted very well, presented me with options and made sure this would be a one trip deal. Which I appreciate very much during the COVID Pandemic. The second part of my review is about my observations on their processes for COVID-19 prevention. They had multiple hand sanitizers setting through out the store, the store itself was very clean. There were markings down for social distancing. Jeremy even offered to sanitize the product I was looking at before I touched it which shows he cares. I know the process is not a one man show to make customers feel safe and I noticed ever employee was wearing mask and using sanitizer. JOB WELL DONE! It’s businesses like this that are really helping us have a sensation of normalcy and keeping us safe. Thank you Verizon and most of all Thank you Jeremy and your entire team for everything you are doing. Definitely a store full of heroes. God Bless and Happy Holidays.

If you want to deal with rude employees this is the place to go! Not only were they rude, they did NOTHING to fix my problem, on an item we just purchased less than 24 hours ago! Wont be going back there. I will stick with an ACTUAL Verizon store, where they know what they are doing and make SURE the problem is fixed. I would have left ZERO stars if I could.

I cant say enough about Jackie. She was the only employee at the store and still managed to calmly wait on all customers....all while spending over 4.5 hours trying to get us switched to a business plan. She made numerous calls, sometimes managing 2 phone calls at once while also waiting on customers so they didnt have to wait. Victra is so fortunate to have an employee like her. Not many could do what she did and its really a shame that she was expected to do so. None the less, she never complained and went the extra mile for each customer that entered the store this evening! Thank you Jackie!!

My experience was quick, easy, and very pleasant.

Went to Verizon on South Side today to get a new phone.. The computer was declining everything that I wanted.Thank God Britney has good patienceAnd clearly doesnt get frustrated easy.. Most workers at most phone stores would have gave up After the second try.. But Britney Just kept trying and after 2 hours I walked out with my new phone that I wanted.. So if anyone needs a phone Go over to Verizon and see my girl she will take care of you and do everything in her power to make sure you leave with what you want...

The new manager Justin is leagues above the previous staff. He took the time to listen to me and my needs and even called a different location that was corporate to ensure I got taken care of. I’ll definitely be back.

Really awesome Verizon store. The staff are completely incredible, and will make sure they help you out from the moment you walk I the door, till the moment you leave! These folks make it easy to buy a new device, or just help you with your account. They will help you anyway they can. Highly recommended place to go for any Verizon customer, and certainly a night and day difference between them and the Vienna store. I will be dealing with this store in the future, for sure!

Worst day (week) (month) of my life! The sales representative was no more than a con artist. While there I saw another salesperson try to sell more than she needed to an elderly woman. The woman said no, but was pressured more. I was lied to on a number of things during the purchase. I stated many times that I did NOT want any new contract, and was told that there would be none. Upon getting home I found that the tablet that I was convinced was a great deal came with a new contract. Not only that, but what was suppose to be my signature was forged! When I complained, I was told that I could return it, but had to pay a reshelfing fee. Verizon finally straighten this mess out, but after many stressful telephone calls, and much lost time. I too am older, and feel that this was standard practice at this store. I will never use any store, but a true Verizon Store, not an authorized retailer.

Got in and out quickly and all my questions were answered. Very helpful and pleasant.

Today 8/25/18 was my first day in the store since it changed from Verizon to the subcontractor Victra. The staff was totally incompetent and arrogant. The customer in front of me stormed out of the store in frustration then my turn came. I wanted to add Data to my phone plan, something Ive done numerous times easily in the past. The staff simply didnt know how to do it. After 3 tries and 20 minutes wasted still no data added to my phone. I had to wait till I got home and call Verizon directly to get the data I paid for. I called the manager of the store to complain he said have a nice day and hung up on me. Ive called Verizon back and lodged a complaint against the stores incompetent and rude behaviour. I will never for any reason set foot in that store again but will drive the extra miles to the actual Verizon store in Vienna instead.

If I could give this store zero stars I would! My wife upgraded her phone and the initial visit took nearly two hours to get things completed so that we could just get out of there with the phone. The numbers were described to us but were totally incorrect with several hidden fees like a fee they charged to go on the site and Steve up our phone. They threw in a packaged charger, case and applied a screen protector without disclosing the cost until we were ready to check out. We were told that the insurance was mandatory for the first month and had to pay for it with no option. I argued and they finally discounted an accessory but demanded the insurance was mandatory. I later found out from a real Verizon customer service rep that this practice was totally deceptive and was only to boost commission. We had to visit a second time to get my wifes info transfered and that almost took another two hours. The manager is so inadequate and was giving us and his associates totally wrong information. The rep that helped us was new and received very little help while assisting us and although she tried she misinformed us. This experience was one of my worst buying experiences of my life! I do want to say that there are a few good and knowledgeable associates there but the leadership from the owner to manager is horrible. Really? Forcing people to buy insurance on a phone is wrong! Dont waste your time with this store!

Our upgrade experience was horrible!! We upgraded because of the promotional offer. We were suppose to get a $200 pre-paid visa with each phone purchase and a galaxy tablet for only $30 with a 2yr contract. Of course the phone had to be ordered and when I picked them up the there was a screen protector missing from the accessories we had set aside to be purchased with our phones and the sales person was in a hurry and I asked her to make sure she checked me out using my employee discount. She didnt. I was so flustered by the time I left and realized she never told me about the details of getting the visa cards and tablets like I had asked about. We came back in on our next day off to ask about it and was reassured that the sales person that checked us out is real good about sending the information in so we would get our visa cards and not to worry and just wait a few weeks and we should get them.I did get offered 1 tablet that happen to be lying on the counter in a case with finger prints on it. I asked for one in a box and was told that one was new and he proceeded to check me out. Thinking the case must be included I was surprised when I was charged 60 for a case I didnt even ask for. I kept my mouth shut at this point because I was done and just wanted to leave before they screwed me out of something else. Well after more than 6weeks and still nothing we called yesterday and asked again only to find out that our gift cards were never redeemed and they gave us a website to go to so we could do it ourselves. Well guess what? It was the wrong website. We decided to call the verizon store by the mall and they were more than helpful and are suppose to get back with us today to let us know if they were able to redeem our cards online or if it is to late because the promotion is over. I gave a very short version of my experience but hit the highlights I think. All I know is we have been using this store for years and have spent so much there in phones and accessiories, however after this several months long experience and they were never able to resolve our issues we will be taking our business elsewhere. It makes me wonder if they didnt claim the visa cards and other tablet for themselves and how many people they charge full price instead of using the customers work discount.
