Horrible customer service! Went in for some parts and they had a sign posted to come to back door. When I went to the back I was trying to get one of the employees attention when another employe came out from inside the shop rudely telling me that I need to step back. Which is understandable due to the current pandemic. But there were no signs posted to stay behind anywhere or to wait at a specific location. When I tried to make small talk and ask why they don’t allow 1 customer in at a time. As I am a business owner as well and that’s what do. The man gave me even more attitude saying “well here we actually care about our family”. Overall horrible experience.

Absolutely a great place to find whatever you need for your vintage Volkswagen. Super knowledgeable staff, really nice. Store is really clean and organized. Custom engine builds, dual carbs, I picked up lowered disc brakes and I am extremely happy with the price and quality.

Even though i live in the east coast .i rather buy from kadie shack that they are in the west coast great people,service, prices and super quick delivery ..thanks again!!!

The Kaddie Shack staff is always so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Also, I love that their shop is SO convenient to get to off of the 210 freeway. A true treasure in the San Gabriel Valley.

I bought my carbs from Jeff a few years ago thinking I would have my Baja built and running in a month ... several years later Im just about there. Im about to take my bug out to the desert for the first time and dont want to go through a long trial and error tuning ordeal. I wanted KS to tune my engine. Miguel spent more time than I expected listening to the problems I had during my first untuned drive and made a half dozen suggestions on what I should do instead of paying them to do it all for me. Thanks Jeff and Miguel - thats first class customer service!

The people on the phone are nice to talk to but I really hate having to leave negative feedback, wish I could have left positive. I sent my Kadron set here to get the throttle shafts rebuilt and the carbs gone through. This was the only carb set that has bested me and I couldnt figure out why one wouldnt feed fuel above the idle circuit. They ran great for seven years and I rebuilt them three times and had them apart countless times to inspect and check everything, I even checked the emulsifier tubes as well. So when I threw in the towel I wanted to send them to the professionals who I was told specialized in the Kadron. I believe they know what they are doing and probably did their best on my carbs so I am not knocking them as people or their know how which is why I gave two stars rather than one. I guess maybe my carbs bested them and myself and my VW buddies too however when I told them it seemed to be a process to get my carbs fixed. I was told I would have to pay shipping there and back and the labor to fix them which I had just spent nearly $400 on labor, kits, linkage and etc. I was not pleased and was unwilling to do this since the problem was there when I sent them the first time. To this day almost 4 years later these freshly rebuilt Kadrons are sitting in a box as they came from them because I cant use them. These carbs are important to me because they came with my 1970 double cab and were put on there in the 70s by the previous owner. I will some day make them work again when I have the time to spend my self but do wish that they were done correctly the first time at Kaddie Shack when I sent them. It seems they may have just had kits put in and new bushings.

We road race and run Kads instead of Webers. Jeff Lain at the Kaddie Shack is the most knowledgeable Kad expert out there, and really has great customer service.
