Friendly and knowledgeable people. I love the Thule roof rack installed on my 2006 Honda Civic. Perfect for 2 mountain bikes. Pretty straight forward to load the bike(hold the fork and back frame then load & lock the front tire first). Brought it in first thing in the morning and walked to a Corner Bakery(10-15 min walk) and waited in that plaza until they called me back. Highly recommended! Thank you Pasadena Team!

They helped me install my Yakima rack and i bought this Thule car-top case. All installed in about 45 minutes. Very nice and knowledgeable staff.

Because the Thule Hallavator Pro kayak rack are produced in Sweden and because of COVID they were not producing this item yet. Luckily for us Rack Attack had the two sets we desperately needed. We locked in our order over the phone and picked them up the next day. Their staff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any type of racks.

I wasnt sure where to go to get an aftermarket hitch and bike rack for my new car. A friend referred me to Rack Attack. I called and they identified the appropriate aftermarket hitch for my car within seconds and ordered it for me. It came in two days later and they called to scheduled an appointment to install it. As soon as I got to the shop, they were ready for me and began installation immediately. All the guys were extremely friendly and professional. Pasadena Rack Attack is the best! Stopped in for some advice and the staff were so helpful! They gave me tons of options on an issue with surfboard loading and roof box. After receiving our stimulus check I was inspired to put a hitch on my car and buy a bike rack so my kids and I could get out more and take our bikes to the beach. I really had no idea where to begin with getting everything done, at a good price. After several days of research I decided Rack Attack was the place. They even asked another shop in Colorado to send the exact rack I wanted, which is completely sold out everywhere I looked for it. The entire experience was wonderful from the friendly, very hard-working staff, to the reasonable prices. Pasadena is not a place I usually venture out to because I live in South Orange County, but it was so worth it, highly recommend!

This place is amazing if youre looking into outfitting your vehicle with any type of cargo rack, bike rack, ski racks, roof tents, shade awnings, or any externally mounted carriers/accessories. The gentleman who helped us (Winston) was extremely knowledgeable about the different options available and spent time explaining the pros and cons of each. He was very friendly and helpful!! The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because the price you pay here is the exact same retail price you would pay directly from the manufacturer. Those prices are a bit steep. They offer installation on all the products they sell and lifetime warranty on their labor. If you dont mind paying full retail price on their product line then this place is right for you.

This shop fixed our busted Thule bike rack for a great price and quickly! I was pleasantly surprised. Also, they have a great selection of roof cargo boxes, racks, roof top tents, and they can order anything from Rhino Rack, Thule, Yakima, and U.S.A. Made brands. We will be coming back soon to get geared up for our outdoor adventures.

After months of looking online, reading reviews, measuring our vehicle, and trying to look at cargo boxes at REI and other places, Rack Attack came up in a search, and we hustled over to Pasadena where we were treated with friendly, helpful service (including from the handsome shop dog).The workers offered to let our Subaru Crosstrek try on boxes so that we could see the fit and look. Thanks to them going the extra mile, we wound up realizing that our car could handle a larger cargo box than wed anticipated, while still being able to open the hatchback fully. They adjusted our crossbars and installed the box in minutes. So happy with our Thule Force XT L cargo box, and would recommend Rack Attack to anyone looking to outfit their vehicle with awesome storage and travel solutions!

Look I understand it was raining and you guys were super busy on 12/28. I originally had an appointment scheduled for 3PM for a hitch installation and I had called an hour before to double confirm how long the job would probably; “we have you down for 2 hours”. With confidence I drove 20 miles in the rough rain to Rack Attack to arrive for my appointment for the individual to tell me, “how can I convince you to come tomorrow?” because they were “backed up and the job would take 4-5 hours if I stayed”. First of all I was not going to wait 5 hours for a hitch job and second of all the workers in the back need to go home. With no act persuasion, why wasn’t I informed when I called AN HOUR BEFORE and not waste my time driving there. It would have been professional to let me know ahead of time that’s all it would have taken to avoid instead of trying to “convince” me to come the day after. When you’re trying to take care of a customer you try to accommodate them in the best way possible, therefore the straightforward asking to come the next day was not it!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. They are quite friendly and knowledgeable, Ive now had my rhino rack for over a year and honestly with the time saved, it paid for itself within a couple weeks. I use it basically every day for ladders, lumber, boxes, pretty much anything goes if you have enough straps and can lift it over your head. Also it looks great and love that Ill never worry about the aluminum rusting! Had multiple people ask about it and I always tell them exactly where to go (its this store). You guys are the best!

I bought a roof top box from their Santa Monica location a few years ago. Cruised in to their Pasadena location to check out a few bike racks. I liked the model on display. I asked about a different model. They said they only had it in the back. I asked to take a look at it. They said it was new in the box in the back and they did not have any to look at. The same of the store is rack attack ? And you don’t have any to look at?

Had an emergency situation where I had to get roof rails and a storage box installed same day on my car for a cross country trip and Cesar and his team in Pasadena went above and beyond to make it happen. Highly recommended.

Let’s start off by saying that Ali was the only person who was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I went in spending 2500 cash on a whole setup of Thule items and a cargo box as well. They added a part on my order without my consent and after I asked for a printed receipt, I noticed that extra part and asked about it. They then came out 5 mins later and said it supposively doesn’t fit we have to refund it when I never even originally asked for it. I paid full cash and the guys giving me trouble now about how he can’t give me money back and has to put it on a card when I payed the full 2500 in cash. Not to mention THEY DIDNT CLOSE THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CARGO BOX TO THE BAR!! Good thing I stopped before driving to take a picture and noticed the right clips aren’t even tightened AT ALL!!! You want to get ripped off and end up in a very bad situation while driving go here. I had to literally take the car somewhere else so they can properly tighten and center on my car. HORRIBLE!!

I called rack attack at 4pm on a Saturday night out of desperation.... 2 nights before we were leaving for an out of town road trip. Peter and the rest of the guys at the store were beyond polite and accommodating. They stayed after closing time to install my bike rack and took the time afterwards to show me how to use it. Cant say enough great things about Rack Attack and their staff. We went in with a general idea of what we needed (storage, tent, bike rack, etc.) but no idea how we were going to make it all work. We spent over 2 hours with one sales associate who walked us through all of our options. He was patient even as we waffled back and forth between ideas. Ultimately, we ended up with everything we needed and more! They were able to get us a solar power station and panel through an affiliated dealer. We had no idea that was possible. They went above and beyond and offer more than just rack solutions. We are lifelong customers.

Still dont know if they are even processing my order. Placed order online, including payment information, got a call the next day but they dont know how to use a phone and didnt leave a message. I called back and was told that they had all but one part that I had ordered and I would need to give them my payment info over the phone or come in and give it for them to get the other part. Contacted support and was told that they didnt ask for my payment info, just to ask if I was willing to wait for the part? So that means the person I talked to on the phone just wanted my credit card info for himself for other reasons?

I went there looking for a 1 1/4” hitch bicycle rack for my car, having done a lot of research before hand. The person helping me was friendly and even took me to the back to see some of the built racks that were other options. They seem to be subject matter experts compared to other experiences in the past when I’ve purchased racks at sporting good or outdoor stores. Racks are their focus and expertise, unlike a salesperson who also sells running shoes, camping equipment, bicycles etc.

Since this pandemic started, not only has Lysol, Clorox wipes and toilet paper been almost impossible to acquire, but also bikes and bike racks! I was initially a bit hesitant about having my hitch installed here as they are significantly more expensive than the local U-Haul. However, Im now glad I paid the extra $$ as I feel confident the hitch was installed correctly. Super helpful and friendly staff. Came in to get a quote, the staff explained all my options very thoroughly and found an option that worked for me. I dropped my car off a few days later on my own time for install. They ended up not having the rack in stock that I was originally planning on getting but instead ended up setting me up with an even better option for a better price.
