Worst experience ever I called corporate three times in one day dealt with the assistant manager manager of the auto department and manager of the whole store try to get a oil flush and oil change starting at 8:30 in the morning when they opened up did not have enough people to do it asked me to come back two and a half hours came back tell me about another two and a half hours I got out of there at 3 in the evening these are pictures in the evening when I came back and they wanted me to wait again when I was there at 8:30 in the morning when they opened but they didnt have anyone

6/11/21 I was there 5min before opening time, 7am. It is now 7:55am and its still not ready yet. I had to let my boss know that Ill be late for work because apparently an hour is not long enough to allow for an oil change here! I will not make this mistake again. Hope I save someone the trouble and frustration.Update- 8:26am, and theyre finally done. Manager gave me a discount for the trouble, and all the cashiers and employees have been understanding. Said there was a misunderstanding with the schedule.
They should try picking up the phone when someone is calling. How am I supposed to see if I can go and get my service done if my car is having issues and I dont want to risk getting send back?
Why does it take sooo long to get an oil change?
Im giving 5 stars even though at the time I was having a rough issue and moments of grief. I ended up waiting longer than anticipated for my car to be serviced and when they got to it, there was an issue which basically meant they couldnt work on it. I was upset as having a working vehicle is critical. I was able to get that fixed by a different mechanic and returned the next day. When the same mechanic who saw me did, he said that they would be express with seeing my car as to make up for the previous day. I dont remember his name but he is a good guy and very sweet! It changed the experience for the better. While getting my ticket, he apologized and I did too. I had been having a rough time and I didnt handle it well and so I felt like a villain. Anyways... point is the whole group at this auto location are honest folk trying to make a living and do their best, I respect and wished to write this review for them!

Purchased a replacement battery very easily and staff was helpful. Quick transaction, and great price and warranty. Best place to go if you need a new battery. Only downside is often long wait times since people bring full shopping carts of groceries to check out and dont need anything automotive related at all.
Had a great experience at this location for a battery replacement. All covered by warranty, the shop guy that helped me out was fast and efficient, the CSR behind the desk inside was friendly and informative as the the Service Manger was great at answering my questions and completed the transaction. Overall, Im grateful for their help this morning and now I can make it to work! Thanks again.
To whom it may concern. The on line experience was awesome especially when it came to the tires I ordered. But unfortunately the automotive center had terrible service. When it came time to putting my tires on the rim the guys in the shop couldnt get it together or couldnt decide who was going to do it. I did not mind being charged $12 per tire but the fact that were arguing and using a bit of profanity in front of my two daughters was unacceptable. So I took my tires somewhere else for mounting. After I arrived home a few hours later I received a phone call from some guy name Ronnie or Rodney cant really remember his name. The guy was trying to tell me that I was given the wrong tires and I needed to bring them back. I checked my new tires and they are the ones I ordered. When I checked on line my order status it said PICKED UP. This is my favorite Walmart and will continue to shop at it. But unfortunately I wont be able to recommend to ANYONE about using its auto center.

Thanks to the young man I spoke to Wednesday night, I was able to find the necessary tires and have them installed.
Bought two new tires for my car. Went to the auto section of Walmart for them to put them on. They wouldnt put them on, because it was a different size the original. I told him that my car to take two different sizes. I showed them on the door panel where it says these are the size tires my car has. Then they wanted to put the new ones on back, but I wanted them on front...my car, my preference..But in order to put the two new ones on front they would have to move one of the old ones to the back(because it was better than the tire that was on the back.)...and it was a different size than the other one on the back and they wouldnt do it. They refuse service to me. I took the tires back, went bought them somewhere else, and had them put on...limiting my shopping at Walmart for sure....assanine....
This place is horrible for service on your car. 2 hour wait for a patch. Man who trains these guys? There was only 2 cars in for bay and 4 people working. They dont care. They tell you these ridiculous wait time so you will go somewhere else so they have less work. Unless you want your day spent waiting for something that takes 30 min to do, DO NOT GO HERE. THIS TLE IS A JOKE! THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.!
Is been a good experience lately. Everything clean in order. Enough cashiers. Prices are good. Parking is not very safe but is also a good neighborhood.

Auto care center at Walmart was very clean and organized. There was a lot of things that I need for my car. I found what I needed and the price was good.
Needed a simple valve stem change and they told me it wouldn’t be an issue. 1 hour and 30 mins later I’m still waiting and then they tell me, “Sorry, your rims are locked, we can’t do anything.” Considering they’re a tire and lube business, they should have the tools to get rims off of cars. I went to Discount Tire (like I usually do, and should have done) - I was out within 30 mins AND it was free (Walmart wanted $3).

The phone has been ringing back and forth because no one answers so the call goes back to the main walmart phone I guess. Just sitting here waiting to see how long it takes for someone to answer. Also the first two ladies that have answered cut me off without letting me finish my sentence. Finally someone answered me and he was very polite and enthusiastic. They need to get it together!! But Thank you Rodney for answering my questions and being polite!
They are some of the kindness employees, they did not have what I needed but they tired to help me out anyways.
Today, Fairmont Walmart auto care actually sucked. If I could give them 0 Stars I would. I went to buy a tire, but it was a different size than my other Tire. So they wouldnt put it on...ok I get it..so I will get 2...Okay thank you, can I have two please and put them on the front.No we cannot do that... when we give you a new tired we put them on the back.Plus we have to take off your bald tire and put the spare there...that would mean that the two that we put in front would be wrong size so we cant put tires on your car.HEY...I just wanted you to put a freaking tire on my car man...Then, I was gonna go ahead and get 2, and ya could not even do that...I didnt ask for you to move my other tires around, or be worried about a spare or bald tire...just put 2new ones on the same axle....But no,Not only did you lose a sale of 2 tires, but my business...there are too many other Tire shops to go to.Fortunately, I have another Walmart close to my home that had no prob selling me 2 tires and putting them on the rims.Thanks guys,You lose. Wanted to change battery, the guy at the mechanic shop insisted to buy the one that cost 119 plus tax, plus 12 dollars core, I told him I need the one that cost 49.99, he said it won’t fit. After he left I bought the cheaper one, and it worked. Poor customer service.
Went on Thursday (1/23/2020) around 10am for an oil change. Only saw 2 cars(one vehicle already working on) and guy said it would be a 2hr wait! How?! Left without an oil change. I call laziness. Losing business
When i went i was buying a new tire the mechanic was real friendly and helpful answering my questions but the lady at the front that i paid my money to was rude as hell like she aint want to be bothered. She also told me when the tire was put on that they would call me so i could pay then burn off but they never did so i had to come by almost a hour later and thats when she told me my car was sitting outside ready to go...

The manager asked for a state Id I gave my liscense it was expired so I showed him the papers from dps that It was current and he said they dint accept that so had to go to different Walmart for a refund. The papers from dps are state id

If you plan on coming to get your tires changed make sure you bring another vehicle to go do other stuff for 3+ hours. Its ridiculous how long it takes, and espcially considering there was just one other vehicle for a tire change. I think the manager should be more involved with the auto center and to see their workers just walking around and talking to eachother. Now i dont really write these kind of reviews but today was an exception. Best thing to do is to just buy the tires and take them to a real tire place to instal in like 5 minutes. Took me 4 1/2 hours from 2:15pm to 6:45pm. Ps.there was alot of people complaining about the time it was taking to do oil change too.

Worse experience. I drove here from webster because they told me they had the tires I specifically needed. Got all the way here and they couldnt find them. They jokingly said they havent done inventory since October. Took several minutes and several phone calls to get anyone on the phone. I would go to a real auto shop, dont waste your time here.

No good,couldnt get my oil changed,they run al most, out of oil,some oil was left,in boxes,buying quarts bottles from inside the store,would have been more expensive.
The wait time it’s outrageous. Spent 5 hrs just to get 2 change of tire and oil change, never going back there.
Worst customer service! Called multiple times and the phone just rang forever, no answer, no message re-directing me, nothing. Finally some very frustrated man answered and after telling him I need to find out if they had a certain tire size in stock, he said Oh, youre gonna have to hold the line and left me, not on hold, simply put the receiver to the side because I could hear him doing whatever he was doing. Insane.

Worse service ever. They said that they could change out my oil because the plug was stripped and that I have to take it back to whomever worked on it before, but it was them who worked on it, now they saying it wasnt. Im pissed. I will never get my car serviced there ever again.
Dont go to Walmart often, most times its ok. Long lines, too few cashiers unfortunately.

They badly damaged my dashboard. When I asked to speak to the manager, I waited 30+ minutes and no one came. They claimed it was like that when I came but I know there was no giant crack across my dash. The saddest part is, I only went for an oil change.
