I want to Vote there a it was the closest place too where I live. First of all I had to park in south 40 as everything closer was seemingly off limits to me. I asked 2 students where I got to Vote and they Didnt know?? What kind of students do have now? I finally found a PCC guard and the was most helpful, but I either had to climb two flights of stairs to no to Vote! I am handicapped and my climbing anything are over. I finally reached my place to Vote, was walking back to my car when 2 black ppl where behind me. Agreed, I dont walk fast anymore, but they wanted to pass me. I stopped got out of their way and it said you dont have to run over me. After I said that a young heavy set person turned around and it think she wanted to punch me, then the young man said something and they walked on.Whomever chose this place for us to VOTE did not take into consideration the parking or accessibility of the Voting place. I would rather take my chances and Vote at anywhere else next time. I strongly believe everyone should Vote, no matter how old you are.

My daughter wanted a cpl of things from here and every time we went they were all out! Not enough staff & items.

Do not use the book store they are useless when it comes to getting your books 2 weeks prior to class. I had to go back 3 times to get my books over 2 weeks when they said they would ship it to me only got half of the book I ordered online. It is better to just go to the school and buy them there on spot and make them get the books you need then ordering online. Wasted alot of time trying to get the book I needed.

Pre-Covid:Cool bookstore. During Covid, Bookstore is open to buy books. Be ready to have the book number that is required for the class. You need a mask on campus😵

Love it here. Can find some good deals on your textbooks... but not all the time. Check out online resources first!! Also, love the merch but pricey HOWEVER it goes to the school I believe so why not :) love PCC!!!!!!!!

I love this store. Whenever my husband and I go to the Castro theater for a date, we always make an effort to stop buy and pick out books for each other. Great selection and good prices. Theres also a used section where we have often found great books to read.

All the supplies you need. They recently changed the class book filing system on the second floor to alphabetical by authors last name. Happy hunting!

Super booked!

A pretty good place to get books but expensive and recently under new management so there have been issues with not finding the book you need. They allow you to use money from financial aid for books even before you get it, which is convenient for books you need on the first week.

I came in to pick up my books and the lady sent me away because I didn’t have the email receipt handy. There was no one in the store so she could have easily checked. I know better now to raise the bs flag next time.

You can find everything you need. It is pricey for a college bookstore. It opens early and closes early as well. If your buying books before the semester starts look up the dates that they will open so you wont stuck in line to purchase books. They also run out of books fast. And dont often stock them back.

A lot of stuff to choose from. First floor is like a local food/clothes market, whereas the second floor is library in which you can buy/rent books

2 parts to this review: textbook store + general store.First, the textbook store: Just really overall a mess of a system for textbooks. This isnt entirely their fault, it just is inconvenient in nearly every way. The prices are jacked up, the lines are long, the books are so inconvenient to get if you think theres a chance of dropping a class. Nearly everything new gets shrinkwrapped with a return condition of a non-broken seal. They switch up the organization system from semester to semester, and sometimes its by subject/class, sometimes its alphabetical. Staff is generally helpful, but its just a big pain, and they wont generally order more books if they are out. 1 star.As for the general store: Much better. Nice selection of school supplies, snacks, school merch and more, all for good to ok prices. Staff is friendly, but lines can be ridiculous. 4 stars.

This is a place for books and people who love them. The staff is always very friendly and helpful when it comes to making recommendations for birthday gifts. Dogs are welcome.

The professors forms a Labour union making the education output sucks. Those in Union professors have less motivation to teach

Its a college book store. Its expensive but at least pcc has some fashionable clothing. You have to check your bag in cubbies at the door. Its is kind of disrespectful and makes me feel like theyd rather i get robed which is messed up.

This place is often disorganized, but there service is good.

Went to get scantrons. They were sold in a pack of 6 and to be honest were pricier than a different college I had previously visted.

Very disappointed. I witnessed first-hand another student who was treated like an idiot after following the instructions of another staff member of the bookstore, and that was just to start things off. The return policies on textbooks make this business more akin to a mafia operation with an offer you cant refuse as opposed to store in the business of selling college textbooks. So you mean to tell me, I find out in my math class the professor doesnt even use the textbook I purchased, but I cant return the book unless Ive officially dropped the class?!?!?! So now I have to choose between owning a worthless $200 textbook, and getting an education. Its a scam, pure and simple, exploiting poor and defenseless college students out of money they could otherwise spend more effectively on a proper college education. I had high hopes for PCC as a returning-to-college non-traditional student. However, this experience has left me absent of any hopes my transfer credits will be taken seriously by other colleges and universities. I reiterate, very disappointed.
