My wife and son picked up lunch here they had the loaded potato with chopped beef and I had the chopped beef sandwich! potatoes were huge and delicious, aswell as the sandwich. Hats off to ya! great customer service

The quality of food has certainly come down in the last few years. Got a baked potatoe (Plain, just pre-baked) and it must’ve been 3 days old. Of course I didn’t find out till I got home. Always ask if the baked potatoes were baked THAT DAY

I have never had a problem until the other day and it was our first visit after a couple of years. First problem was the pork chops I received, they were good in size, but they were so tuff we couldnt even eat them. Second I would like to tell the dark haired older lady next time someone greets you in Spanish just say you dont understand instead of hand and facial gestures. That was very rude and I wished I had said something then, but I didnt want you to treat my order badly. Wont be returning

Choice Meat Market isnt merely LIKE what I remember (either while growing up or living in Europe); its EVERY BIT AS GOOD!Product quality, selection, price (especially the Specials!) and personalized service are unmatched! Bake potatoes could be. Good if not useing the old potatoes . B.B.Q chicken dry. Keeping food on the steam table self life is not all day .

I love this place of business. Stefanie and Marilyn are the best. Actually all their meats, pork and chicken among other stuff they sell is of the highest quality. My husband would pay more at HEB. We shop here often + they have ribs, brisket sausage plates and sandwiches too, the banana pudding is out of this world.

I love this place, they have everything you need for Bbqs, any kind steaks,ribs, briskets,roast just all kinds of beef for the average home chef or the professional chefs who do cook offs. They all kinds of pork from pork ribs baby back ribs, country style ribs, st Louis ribs and all kinds of pork. They have all kinds of sausage and poultry. Im in shock!! I just purchased $275.40 worth of meat along with 4 of there lunch plates at $5.99 each. Total of $299.40 from them. I bought 2 of the 15lb Fajita Pack @$59.99 each, 1 Variety Pack @ $139.99, case of water, Sunbeam bread, 2 large egg cartons, 2 packs of hot dogs, and the 4 BBQ Plate lunches. I got home and found out that I was missing a 15lb pack of Beef Fajita meat, so I called and was told to come back to store, and they would fix their error. So, I had to call my friend to see if she could come back to take again, so she came all the way back to my house to take me. I call as we are on our way to let them know I was on my way, if they could please have it ready for me since I was in a hurry for my friend. I was told that wouldnt be a problem. We get there, and the same person that had served me, and explained that a co worker was left to put it in my bag after she had weighted it. So now she try to tell me that she cant give me the pack of meat since her boss was who put it in the bag( which is a lie) he wasnt even there yetI told her that I had no reason to lie, and I wanted what I paid for. She then asked.me if I would wait for her boss to come and speak to him after her telling me what really happened when we spoke on the phone. I told her how could she lie to me, and act like I was lieing. Then expect me to have to wait for her boss to come, putting me in a time crunch with my ride. Knowing I had plans with family for a Big BBQ that I was now running behind on preparing everything due to their mistake. I couldnt wait to be told the same BS, so I shock my head at her, and told her that I have been a loyal customer since 1994, and have sent many customers there through the years, and this is how Im treated. That I will no longer be shopping there, & I will be sure to tell everyone that will listen about this predicament that she put me in, then had the audacity to act like I was lieing. Such a awful way to treat another person especially knowing I was telling the truth. Extremely bad behavior for business!! In these times of hardship, I purposely support my neighborhood businesses. I stay loyal. Unfortunately some dont do the right thing. It is what it is, and God saw what happened. I pray for evil doers, and move on. Thankyou for your time to hear me. It is very appreciated. If you ever do shop there, pay close attention to who is preparing your order plus look in your bags to check if the order is correct before paying. I have enjoyed their products for years, but now Im forced to take my business elsewhere. Totally blown away by their actions. Wow, thats just stupid behavior combined with rood cruel treatment!! I have been living in and around Pasadena almost all my life(45years) and out of those years never realized that Choice Meat Market had such an abundant choice of meat, pork, and poultry at really great prices for being a real butcher shop. I was deeply impressed with the bbq choices and the Turkey legs awesome. The staff really happy and helpful answered all my questions and knew what they were talking about. The service here is excellent and so is the food. We got a coupon flyer in the mail, went to check it out, and left with awesome deals and a trunk full of meat. I havent bought ground beef or sausage anywhere else since we found this place, and my husband enjoys their beef jerky. Its well worth checking out, especially if youre looking to stock up.

Just fed my dogs the do called chopped brisket since it looked and taste like dog food

They could npt make a worse loaded baked potato.First the potato was cold and hard! Had to warm it up for 5 minutes and still hard.No butter and no choice and no chives liked I requested.A hard potato with tons of sour cream and grinded up meat that supposed to be chopped brisket.I couldnt even eat it !

From their sausage to chop beef sandwich, fresh meats, guaranteed, can’t go wrong! My kids go there now. Go try them, you won’t be disappointed ! Old school setting, when you go in, ungodly, the smell of true b-b-q! I’m sending my sons there Saturday, to load up Labor Day ! Tradition! Nothing like choice meat market! What ya waiting for? I purchased 2 chopped beef sandwiches for lunch. I dont believe it is 100% chopped beef in the sandwiches. I found small chunks of potato and bread in the meat. It was not even 50% meat I believe. The true meaning of Mystery Meat! I will never eat there again!

This is one of the worse meat markets in Pasadena,. Have gone there and always have gotten poor service, went there the other day to get some ground beef for my cookout, I picked up two packages of what was supposed to be fresh ground beef,which is supposed to be fresh ground daily,got a 2lb. Package of fresh ground beef for $4.55 got it home started cooking it and I noticed that it was shrinking so bad,so from a 2lb.package, it now was a 1 lb.of meat.looks like that they put water and added more for to it so it would go further. I Will never buy anything from this meat market again!!!!!!! The service really sucks big time
