Ive been shopping here since 2000, its busy all the time, but people are friendly and attentive.

Just bought a lb of marinated fajitas for 11.99 a lb, which is way too expensive, but turns out they werent even marinated right, they were tougher than tough, couldnt even chew them. Didnt feel like driving farther for the best tender marinated fajitas at La Montana, so I got stuck with tough meat. Lesson learned !!!

I personally havent gone there for much and not to often Im sure that Id have rated it 5 stars with continuous visits as the service and products are good and the meat looks very good and I definitely plan on buying some from there sometime.

Another wonderful local spot that is unfortunately hindered by a language barrier but once again, the good folks that work there are very understanding and acknowledge that we ARE trying our best to speak to them in their own tongue even though 80% of the time we arent doing much more than just embarrassing ourselves. Lol. Terrific place, wonderful people, ALWAYS well stocked and fresh. We buy all of our produce here and feel grateful we live close by but would drive out of our way if needs be. Really, Fantastic place. Love it.

I usually stop at the La Michoacana in Texas City which is great, i love it! I stopped by this one to pick up 6 pounds of fajitas on my way home out of convienance and was disappointed. The people working there were great, but the fajitas on the other hand not so much. The 3 pounds of marinated fajitas had a lot of silver skin and fat. The cuts at Texas City are trimmed of all the silver skin and thinly sliced to the same thickness with just the right amount of fat. Some of the fajitas here were real thick others thin. The 3 pounds of natural fajitas were the same. It was like eating a tire. Overall just bad product. I will stick to the Texas City La Michoacana, or if need be try another one but I will never stop here again.

Saturday morning I went to get 1 1/2 lb of Barbacoa and the lady there looked like she didn’t wanna be there my fiancé asked for beans and she didn’t even ask what size so she guessed we wanted the biggest tub. Anyway... we got Food Poisoning!!!! 10/26/2019 they need to make sure it’s cooked properly!!!! And hope that I don’t end up in the hospital because I haven’t gotten any better

A bit pricey but fully stocked, great produce and good food with plenty of ingredients. Parking lot is too small but its mainly a stop and go type of vibe here. Its good.

Was trying to buy ice cream for me and my daughter and they refuse to take my debt card payment. They said minimum on a card is 3.00$ I said can I talk to your manager she said he’s not here.. said she couldn’t charge me. Where can I report businesses like this?? This is against the law!

The median lady cashier added an extra item even when I said to take of but the dident listen to my words I ended up paying an extra 5 dollars for a papaya that I dident even want this store should like learn English!!!!

Bad all there prices were high I can go down the street to Walmart get the same size candy bar for .79 cents at la meetchucana it 1.89 a whole 1.10 cents more they were having a sale and I got a 2liter coke they said it was a dollar but charged me two never am I going here again and the had flies ok the meat they sell cause on of employees had left it open when I asked for meat
