Too sweet...it doesn’t suit my case.

Great! Finally a cupcake company that actually has soft cupcakes. Also do custom orders so if I want I can get center filled cupcakes. Kind of a weird little parking lot/shopping center there. If you’ve never been approach slowly or you may miss the very small hard to see from the street parking lot entrance. On this visit I got a sample order of select options available. And they were all good. I like that they do custom orders as well. Shop is very small however. I’d get there early so you will have a selection to choose from. Also cupcakes come in two sizes mini and standard. Also the standard size isn’t like a giant muffin that could sink a ship like at another well known cupcake place. Still I know it was my first visit. However I got to try 6 different types. So come on down and try some great cupcakes. You won’t regret it. Also there are some great other places close by to eat at. So make a trip of it. Peace out. ✌🏽

I have actually visited this location a couple of times and have been pleased with the results every visit. they are very professional and have pretty simple steps to ordering. the flavors are exactly what you expect and the decorations on them are very nice as well. if youre debating between this and another location, i highly suggest coming here and giving them a shot. the price is well worth what youre getting too.

DO NOT GO HERE! I ordered cupcakes and the owner asked me to prepay the half dozen. The next day when I went to pick them up Mel the owner said they werent ready and I drove over an hour yo get there. She then said she would drive them to me and never showed up. We called for a refund and went back in person and they still hasnt refunded anything and was rude.

I had an amazing experience ordering a cupcake delivery!! The person helping me on the phone was so kind and accommodating. I really appreciated how nice they were and how easy they made the process! The cupcakes were awesome! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!

Horrible,horrible customer service!When we arrived a couple was being helped, so as a precaution due to Covid we waited outside. In addition, we also noticed there was a sign that read something along the lines of we see you, we will call you to come in. As the couple that was being helped exited out we waited-outside as instructed-for our turn to be called in.However, the employee simply turned towards the kitchen doors and went away. We waited thinking she might have not seen us or may be as precautions will come by and disinfect the area before allowing us to enter. But, no she never came back out. So, thinking nothing of it we still waited out for about 10 minutes in the cold. You may think why wait for so long? Well, as being someone who also has worked in food service-I always like to give the benefit of the doubt as I can understand that they may be set backs.Soon after another employee coming back from what I suspect her break went past us and simply opens the door not even acknowledging us! You would think, she would say, Ill make sure someone assists you. Nevertheless, no one came out to assists us. Mind you there are cameras in the front and outside-which to me we were very visible.5 minutes pass and another employee comes out the kitchen doors and the same scenario plays out! She does not even direct her gaze towards us. She simply goes to the front desktop on the left side of the store and ignores us and goes away.After that a total of 20 minutes had passed since we waited out in the cold! I thought to myself if they really wanted our business they would have helped. I cant stress enough how disgraceful this experience was!

Melanie, the owner of this bakery robbed us of what we paid for. She was unresponsive up until the night before my wedding day. My mom had to call her and leave her a voicemail in order for her to respond. She showed up more than an hour late and did not bring the full sheet cake I paid for. Her excuse was that she ran out of time to make it. It is now a week later and she is unresponsive again after she told my mom she’d give me back money since she did not fulfill my order. DO NOT HIRE HER!!! Extremely unprofessional and has now stolen money from my husband and I.

DO IT! Just go in and treat yourself you ANY of these cupcakes. It doesnt matter if theyre mini or regular, either way youre guaranteed to fall in love with them.Ive tasted cupcake places all around the LA area and these are by far in my top 3 favorites.

The cupcakes here are like a taste of heaven in your mouth. The look beautiful too. We had a Groupon which made it an even better deal. Well definitely be going back again.

I wanted to get some cupcakes for my sons birthday and try a different place than my usual go to. After some minimal research online, I found Polkatots and decided to give them a try. I ordered through their website 3 days before I wanted to pick them up. (According to their website, they only needed 48 hours notice to fulfill an order.) A day before my pick up date, I wanted to confirm. I tried contacting them via phone and email, but I was unable to get a hold of anyone. My numerous phone calls the day before and the day of were redirected to a full voicemail. My email also went unanswered. Mind you, I was contacting them on days that theyre scheduled to be open. I did receive my receipt and confirmation via an automated email. So I figured I should give them the benefit of the doubt and physically go to the store on my specified pickup date and time. Boy, that was a mistake! Sure enough when I got there, the store was closed and looked deserted. No signage whatsoever indicating why. You would think that if they had decided to cease operations, that they would have at the very least done that, put up a sign, or stated it on their website and disabled their ordering service. Let the public know and tie up loose ends before abruptly closing up shop. So, had to go with my back up, Dots Cupcakes, which I should have done in the first place.Also, get this, Polkatots charged me for my unfulfilled order. I had to escalate my issue to Paypal and open up a claim for a refund. That was on Monday, January 25th. Paypal is trying to get a hold of Polkatots, but as of today, the 29th, theyve yet to hear a peep. Polkatots has until February 4 to respond to Paypal before things get further escalated.So save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.

The site says open and the sign says wait outside we will be with you shortly coz of covid. But nobody came out! Nobody answers calls!! They even have a Groupon offer that you can never use!!!

They have delicious cakes and beautiful decorations. I have ordered cakes from them for years and have always had okay service, never great but their cakes made up for their lack of organization. I should have known when I had to call them 4x just to put the order in. I paid my order in full before my date and called to confirm 3 days before. On the morning of my order pick up date, my husband showed up at 10am their opening time. No one was there so he waited until a guy came and put up a sign that they would be open at 11:00. He came back at 11:00 and still not open. He waited until 11:30 and The neighbor came again and took the sign down and said that the owners were busy at an event and unable to open. My daughters birthday lunch was at 12 o’clock so I had to go out and buy a replacement cake. Then at 12:45, the owner calls me and says she’s so sorry and there was a Covid incident and she would be delivering the cake. I told her to deliver it I will send someone to go pick it up. I sent someone to pick it up and they are then told that she already took the cake and then it would be delivered. Then she calls me again and says she’s on her way and will be here in 20 to 30 minutes. 45 minutes goes by and still nothing then she text me and said the cake isn’t good because it was made by a person who tested positive for Covid and that was why she was unable to open in the morning. This was handled so incredibly unprofessional. Being that she supposedly knew about this Covid incident the night before, she should’ve gone into the bakery got all the phone numbers and called everybody with an order and let them know at that time. I could have found a replacement cake first thing in the morning instead of waiting all morning for her to come through. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this is the worst customer service experience. They have delicious cakes, but they need to consider hiring someone else and learning how to communicate with their customers.

Amazing customer service and great cake! I called last minute the night before, about 10 minutes before closing to order a custom cake for the next day. Not only did they allow me to place a custom order over the phone, but they created a beautiful and magical cake for my sons 4th birthday. His only request was a blue cake and they were the only bakery around that could fulfill this for the next day! I went in to pick up the cake and the 2 sisters who run the bakery were the sweetest ever! I am so thankful to them and my son loved his big blue birthday cake! I will definitely be back! The cake had rave reviews! Thank you thank you!

Melanie was absolutely incredible!!! I came into the shop (during my half hour lunch) in a hurry and she was so helpful and understood the urgency considering I had a graduation table to get together the same day. Oh, and I sampled a delicious mini! I will definitely return. 😊

This place has delicious cupcakes!! They have minis and standard sizes. Im a minis kind of girl so that I can eat a little of everything, and boy did I wish I had gotten the standard sizes! My waistline is happy I didnt though lol :) The lady who helped us was the sweetest, and the place is adorable! I wish we lived closer so that I could go back more often, but this will definitely be on the list of places to visit when we visit Pasadena.

They have amazing cupcakes..but sold out today. I get it!! Ill try another day and show up earlier

Great service, exceeded expectations at every step. The staff who greeted me immediately conveyed trustworthiness. She listened and took written notes of my requests for customized decorations. Clear with communication, amenable to my uncertain schedule leading up to the time of my party, but in the end still called ahead of promised time to let me know that the job was done, cupcakes looked and tasted fabulous, and all for very reasonable price. Highly recommend to everyone I know and will be happy to call them again.

Cupcakes are delicious! I tasted the coconut one and I still cant get the taste out of my mouth and I dont want to! We ordered our baby shower cupcakes here and they were very affordable compared to other places! The staff was so friendly and helpful they even gave us complimentary cupcakes to taste to help us decide what flavors we wanted!

Wonderful experience here with Nona and these delicious cupcakes. I read a couple of negative reviews, laughed, and had to leave them another of the mostly positive ones they have. This place is awesome. If you are in the area having dinner, come by here afterward and have a cupcake. They really do a nice job. You can sit and eat it at one of their tables. It wont break the bank and the cupcakes themselves are excellent. Try the Dulce de Leche cupcakes. Wow! In my first experience, the people that work here are wonderful, and best of all, they really care about the quality of the cupcakes they produce. Im sure you will enjoy it as much as I did. When Im back in this part of California, Im having another cupcake.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE FOR DAYS AND NO ONE EVER PICKS UP. I CANT EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE BECAUSE THE MAIL BOX IS FULL. HONESTLY ITS NOT GOOD FOR THE BUSINESS . IM TRYING TO DO MY DAUGHTERS BDAY AND ITS BEEN MORE THAN A WEEK AND STILL NO ANSWER HORRIABLE.

Very friendly staff. Prices were more reasonable than other area cupcakeries. Gave them 2 images i wanted replicated into a cupcake cake and they came out wonderful. Cake was moist and frosting was delicious. Delviered my 350 cupcakes on time and set it up beautifully. If I find myself in need of cupcakes for an event again in the LA area, I will be back!

Despite being very obviously busy with calls and work in the back, the woman with pretty green eyes did a great job at giving me all the answers I needed as well as service with a genuine smile and friendly conversation. Plus, really great cupcakes!

Have been going to polkatots for years! They have delicious and affordable cupcakes! Its my favorite cupcake place in LA. It rivals Sprinkles cupcakes. Always keeps me going back for more.

If it was up to me I would rate this place a ZERO star but I cant so heres a one star even though its not what I wouldve want. The service of this place was ridiculously bad, especially Claudia if Im not mistaken she gave me attitude just for asking a question not only she didnt greet me politely but walk from the back coming in talking nonsense and like if she was giving attitude to the people who was working with her in spanish so rude! I found a place in where I got the great service and awesome treats follow #cakemama take your service somewhere else besides this horrible unfriendly environment!

For $1.50 a mini cupcake, or 16.50 for a dozen. I really would recommend macaroons down the street at Lette because by the end of the day the cupcakes just looked bland and unappealing. I bought four different kind and I did like one out of four but sadly i did find a piece of fuzzball on it.In the end I probably wont be going back.
