I was happy with the salesman JP. The problem is that the tuner that was used to tune the carvi purchased was put behind the rear seat according to the previous owner. This tuner has somehow disappeared and they did not know anything about it. Now if I have to get an original tune then I have to take it to the dealership and no telling how much that is going to cost. So you guys buy this car and nobody knows what happened to the tuner? Anyone should be able to look at it and know that it may be something that needs to stay with the car.

Same issue as other peoples reviews, I drove an hour today to buy a certain car. I agreed to buy it and then they tried to sneak in an extra $3500 mandatory protection package for services I didnt want (windshield repair, roadside service, etc.. - typical scam services). When he refused to sell the car without this plan I got up and walked out. Then I went to TX Auto Group and bought a similar car, no hassle and no dubious sales tactics.

Replaced it with a different vehicle 2 1/2 months later I take the car to a major dealership where they said the motor and trans was bad. Strawberry said nothing they can do it’s out of there warranty. Never again will I purchase here or recommend.

Called this dealership for their 2018 Jeep renegade love this vehicle and wanted it. I thought that it was greatly priced at this dealership. I called them about purchasing the vehicle they told me I had to get the protection plan. I work in sales finance so I know it’s optional. This plan adds an extra 2000.00 to the price of the car which I feel In that case should’ve been included in the price if it’s not optional like the guy said. His name was JD. He refused to sell me the car because I did not want that protection plan. I received an email from the manager called to report what happened and was told the manager does not interact with the customers and yet again that the protection plan was not optional. Why would anyone need that if they already have insurance? People pay for wind shields and tires all of the time.Now it’s a great deal but it’s not worth having to pay an extra 2000 on a vehicle. Watch out for this. That protection plan is optional!! I would not recommend anyone here and I did not purchase a vehicle from here. Horrible customer service!! Not to mention he lied and told me someone was there willing to purchase the vehicle with everything on it because I refused the protection plan.

Do not shop here. They take advantage of people. They sale cars that have been wrecked and dont disclose the issues. Then youre responsible for fixing it because the warranty doesnt cover it. They falsified documents and signed my name on several documents that Id never even seen. Dont even get me started on the customer service!!!! If I could give no stars I would.

I’ve been searching for the perfect Jeep Compass to purchase and thought I finally found the one here. The price was amazing and everything else lived up to dream. We had been in contact with the manager and a sales associate for over a week about purchasing this car the coming weekend, we agreed to the listing price they had online! Now two days before driving six hours for the car my bank contacted them to make sure everything was lined up correctly and THEY SAID THERE WASNT EVEN A RECORD OF THIS DEAL. After many ignored calls they magically remembered us but would only sell it if I bought a protection plan for $5,000. They had zero intentions on telling me this information until I drove six hours to the dealership. This is a freaking scam and I’m thankful there is proof of this happening to not only me because people do not need to buy from this company.

Just Had a great experience here. Sam Smith went above and beyond. And the selection is top rate with excellent prices. I took my son in to purchase his first vehicle. He had a set amount to put down and knew what he wanted his payments to be. He found the perfect Tundra pickup in his price range. Sadly, it was gone when we got there. But Sam and the owner of the dealership, got him into a sweet 2015 GMC Denali ... and for the same down and very close to his desired payment!! So I came from out of state looking for a good deal on a charger. Spent weeks looking for some. Came upon Strawberry Road Auto Sales and saw they had some amazing deals. Thought it was good to be true so I went ahead and called to verify. They told me a very fair price through the phone. So I made the 9 hour trip the next day and after test driving the car, I decided this was the car I wanted to get. After he assured us we were going to pay the price he had marked on the paper we went ahead and moved forward with the deal. After signing the papers we realized that the total amount well exceeded over the original price and when we asked why they said that we had to buy the car with the protection plan because it’s already been installed on the car and if we wanted it than we have to buy it with the warranty. Long story short I ended up getting it and did research on it where it said I had 60 days to cancel the warranty from the original cooperation the warranty was under. After calling to cancel it they said it was something the dealership would have to do because it wasn’t in the system yet. After speaking with a to the dealership representative they said that we could of had declined the “road hazard protection” but they were 100 percent insisted that I couldn’t leave with the car without the protection plan. So I did, but I could have gotten the same exact car for the same price around here and in way better condition than what I got it for with them with less mileage of course. I love the car, but definitely wasn’t worth it at all. Will never do business with them again nor will I ever recommend this dealership to someone, or travel out of state for a vehicle ever again.

After reading some reviews I specifically called April and asked if the warranty was included in the advertised price. She responded in a text that it was included. Then after driving 30 min to look at truck. They add 4000 to the price of the truck. They are liars!!!! Dont buy a car from liars!!!

I recently bought a car here with Taylor as my salesperson. It was the most enjoyable experience Ive ever had buying a car anywhere. She is very passionate about cars and it made it that much more fun being a car guy myself. She even helped me organize shipping it from South Texas all the way to the Minneapolis area where I live. Because of this distance and being sight-unseen, we also used FaceTime calls to show me any areas of the car I had questions about as well as things she thought a buyer should see before moving forward. Finally, she also sent me a cold start video to tide me over until it got to me because of course any reasonable car guy would want that. 10/10 would strongly recommend working with her and the Strawberry Road team!

Beware of the dealer cost. Warranty for 3 months, 3000 miles at the cost of $4000. You have to buy the Warranty Disgraceful.

After a minor issue that was dealt with immediately I had a very good experience dealing with Marcos! I bought the truck sight unseen and it was delivered to me by Howard whom was a pleasant to deal with as any salesman I’ve ever dealt with! The truck was just as described and the pictures did it no justice. The interior looked brand new and the exterior was as good! This was by far one of the cleanest vehicles I’ve ever purchased and I’ve bought a lot of vehicles! We are shopping for a chevrolet Tahoe, we was passing by there dealership and saw they have a very nice 2020 Tahoe so we stop by just to check it out, blown away we there customer service and the owner is a great guy willing to help. They have a pretty decent cars. But what they didn’t told you about they extra charge you for $4,000 protection plan which is obligatory for the purchase. So if you planning to buy something - just add 4K to the indicated price on the website. Waste of time

Advertised $14,999 then sent a break down for my bank, $3500 “accessory fee”. Never was told about this fantom free before. Questioned it, was told that’s a standard fee they put on all their cars!!!! So I said I’m not interested if you can’t do something about this fee and he literally said “nothing we can do. Thanks anyway”. Wow. That’s so terrible customer service and false advertising. Just advertise the car $18500 if that’s how much it is!! Stop wasting peoples time and breaking teenagers hearts. Shameful.

I wish I had read the reviews before going there. Everything that said in the negative reviews are true. I had the same exact experience with them. I hate to post negative reviews but I want to warn other people about this dealership. Their small sales office was packed with employees and none of them were wearing face coverings. They were just chatting among themselves, and did not even bother to greet us or offer to have a seat when we entered. We were just standing there until our sales guy came in. We felt very uncomfortable. I declined to buy the protection plans but was forced to because they said it was already installed on the car. Their advertisement about giving $1,000 more than Car Max offers when you trade in your car. That is also not true. That is just their way of luring customers into their business. I felt this dealership is dishonest.

Very bad experience with this dealership. Purchased a nice looking car. After a couple weeks of owning it and first time having it in the rain. I realized that it had leak in the trunk causing everything to get wet including rear fuse boxes and other electrical boxes which were causing check engine codes come up. I contacted the warranty company and was denied on fixing it. So I contacted Strawberry road about the issue thinking they would do something to fix the problem but was basically told it’s nothing they could do to help me and I was on my own with my new purchase which was very disappointing!! 2 stars only because they sales rep Taylor was very nice. But as far as my experience I’m not pleased at all!

I fully agree with all of the one star reviews and 5 star reviews. They have a great price and *mostly* friendly salesmen, but they scam you in two ways. First, the online price does not include a road hazard protection warranty, which is apparently not optional and doesnt show up until you sign the paperwork. I assume this amount varies based on the vehicle, because I paid less than some of the other reviewers. The second is MUCH worse, and I saw at least one other person who had a similar issue. When it came time to talk financing, they showed the vehicle price, (+TTL), down payment, and monthly payment, and asked me to sign WITHOUT FINDING A LENDER!! The monthly payment seemed high, given the down payment, so I asked what the interest rate was, which they said they dont know yet. WHAT!?! They offered me a monthly payment without showing the financing cost or interest rate, and they kept asking me what monthly payment I felt comfortable with, which was NOT THE POINT. I told them Id pay cash if they knocked off $1k, or Id come back in a couple days with my own financing, which they werent happy about and let me walk. When I got home I calculated the initial interest rate they were asking me to pay, and it was over 25%!!! I secured financing and came back the following day, saving me over $5k in financing costs! Make sure to get the details of the loan before signing anything! Otherwise the car is great, the price is great, and most of the people were great!

Please! Please ! Please! Stay away from this dealership. Dont even try to trust a salesman by name JP. He is a dishonest and a liar. The manager (beard man) is a unprofessional, rude and a BIG LIAR . They sold me a warranties and told that i will get the documents for the warranties once they get a drafting/check from my bank. After several follow up with them the manger is telling me that i didnt buy them, although JP told that all the warranties are included in the selling price. So never ever buy warranties from them. Hope this review will save someone time and energy.

I was told the price of a vehicle I wanted was negotiable then I drove 3 hours there just to be told that the price is the final price, then the buying process took 6 hours, I got there at 3 and didnt leave till past 8:30. Stay away! I would give this place negative stars if I could. Never have I had a worse experience in my life with any business or person than when I went to Strawberry Auto! I went in February 2020 after a couple sales people, including one man who said he was the owner (Matt?), contacted me a couple times after I looked into the value of selling my car online. I ignored the first call and should have ignored the second one because they literally broke part of my car while test driving it in order to justify offering a lower amount of money to buy my car.The owner/saleperson Matt acted friendly at first. We naively let him test drive the car without sitting in it with him. Everything was fine. He checked the car and sat in the car looking at the dash and writing notes regarding whatever he was looking at for about 30 minutes. Then he went into his office to figure out what they were going to offer for my car.Then Matt said a mechanic/some other person who worked for him was going to test drive my car. We agreed, not knowing the guy was going to drive my car really hard in order to damage it. As soon as he came back he casually said the check engine light was on. We said that was odd because it was not on before and Matt made no mention of that while sitting in the car for some time and looking over everything. Matt then offered me $2,500 to buy my car stating it was because the check engine light was on for an unknown reason. We politely declined and prepared to leave. As my husband started to drive off in his car, I tried to start my car and as soon as I turned the key, the car started acting up, revving back and forth as if I was abruptly pushing and releasing the gas without me pressing any of the pedals. I freaked out and called my husband to return. Nothing like this had ever happened to me. I had never had any issue with my car in the 15 YEARS I owned the car, since I was 17 years old. It was the only car Ive ever owned and I had a great deal of sentimental attachment to it. The Strawberry Auto salesman were all just casually standing around their office smoking as if nothing was going on until I asked what happened to my car. Matt was unbelievably rude, argumentative and tried to blame me as if I somehow purposefully did something to my car to sell them a car that had a problem. As if I could have driven it out 45 minutes to their business and perfectly time the issue and check engine light to go on during the 2nd test drive. I could barely hold back the tears knowing that they must have done something to my car on purpose. Another man who worked there acted like he could use a machine to check the engine and see what time the error occurred and what was at issue, but even after trying, his machine did not work and he said hed need his mechanic to look at it with a different machine but he was not there at that day.My husband and I had to call AAA to tow my car to a repair shop. That whole ordeal took over an hour since it was a weekend afternoon and once AAA arrived he asked me what happened and basically told me he thought the car salesman did something to my car. After he drove the car in order to load it on his truck, he said the car salesman must have driven my car really hard in order to cause a problem. This was later verified by the repair shop owner who looked at my car. He said they probably pressed the gas really hard/all the way, which is not how you would drive any sedan (my car was an Acura TSX not a Tesla!), let alone a 15 year old sedan. He said this abrupt acceleration caused the flap valve (I believe he said on the actuator but I cant recall specifically as I am not a mechanic) to malfunction.The whole ordeal still upsets me thinking about it. Matt and Strawberry Auto are despicable and shady. I wish I read the other reviews which reveal how they consistently trick people looking to buy their cars and avoided ever going to their business in the first place. They should be ashamed of themselves!!!

I bought a car from here and found out two days later it had a cracked rim. I should have known when the tire pressure was in the 40psi range on the test drive. Obvious they knew the issue before selling me the car. Talked to the sales person and they only offered an oil change. Inspect before you buy. Very unhappy customer here. An waste of a “dealership” if I could even call it that. Terrible values terrible customer service AND they scam the living hell out of customers. Go to a REAL dealership because these are just money hungry scammers.

I have never been to a small dealership to purchase a car and honestly when I saw how small they were, I almost just passed the place up.... BUTTTTT...... This place has a great selection of cars! I searched 3 big dealerships for a 5.0 convertible and found 1 at Gullo Ford. After trying to screw me at gullo I did some online searching and came upon Strawberry Rd Auto.... Only place I found that had what I wanted.... So, I pulled on in the lot and from the time I stepped out of my car, I felt at home. TAYLOR is absolutely wonderful! She is everything you would want in a sales associate! You are made to feel like part of the team! Mike got me the best interest anyone has ever gotten me and the whole experience was just great. They have definitely earned a loyal customer in me! Thanks Taylor, you were amazing girl!

The sell cars that have problems DO NOT BUY FROM HERE go to a real dealership spend the extra couple thousand because it will pay off in the end I’ve had my car 7 months and it’s been in the mechanic shops probably 4 out of the 7 they have a cheap price so they can say it’s a great deal(through car gurus) just so they can add their terrible 3000 mile warranty for 2,000$ that they won’t take off so the price you see online add 2,000 more dollars and it makes the deal not as good. I definitely would not recommend absolutely anybody to this place.

Amazing and helpful salesman but after the test drive and paperwork started another salesman came in and told our salesman that it was already sold and took the keys. Called ahead to ensure the car was still of time available.Cars were very nice and clean

WARNING!!This car dealership will scam you. All of their reviews are fake, and their cars have a lot of issues that they do not tell you about. If you value your time and money then stay away from this dealership at all cost.They will pull your credit multiple times causing your credit score to decrease dramatically. After that they will try and force you to buy a warranty saying it’s required which in fact is a lie.All of their online prices are also false advertising. You see a vehicle online for $33,000 and when you walking in somehow the total ends up being $40,000 with all these false fees and unnecessary warranties and packages you do not need.All of their sales guys will use tactics to scam you and steal your money and sell you a lemon vehicle. Do not be fooled by them and go with a bigger dealership who won’t SCAM you!!!!!WARNING!!!

If I could give this place less than a star I would. I read all the other reviews and didn’t believe them, I’m now paying the price. Highly unprofessional. They slap “warranties” on the car that supposedly can’t be taken off because they’re “already added”. They aren’t already added, it’s a scam. The sales man Howard did all he could and he was nice to work with, however Johnny 11-Bravo was a piece of work. Very arrogant and very condescending. Don’t waste your time here and don’t put your money in the pockets of these people.

Great experience with Shaun from start to finish, despite no being able to make the sale he still chooses to keep a positive attitude and welcoming vibe to keep me as a future customer/client. He did all he could to get me into the car I wanted while being genuine and upfront. Great conversation throughout the test drive and while going through the paperwork. SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!! Called a few days about a car and set up an appointment to go test drive. I stay about an hour away, so I called before time to ensure the car was still there... they said yes! Got there and one salesman didnt know what car I was talking about, another salesman saying the car was sold the night before, and another salesman saying someone had just driven off the lot with it.... couldnt even get their lies together! They told me they were getting new cars in the following week and would give me a call... never heard from them... checked their website a few days later and the car was still posted.. Glad I dodged this bullet and went elsewhere!

Workers seemed more worried about talking about their own lifestyle to each other in front of other customers .. And the place was full from ppl buying cars due to the winter storm coming ..

Nice inventory I just wish I couldve gotten a more personalized visit. I felt like I was in assembly line more than a car buying experience. I was there over 3 hours and others were there longer. I think what upset me the most is when I found an error in the finance paperwork in my favor they made the correction and just said hey thanks instead of eating the $1,400 mistake. I shouldve left right then seeing their true colors and still kick myself for not doing so.

Sam and Robert helped get me into a new 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that I had been searching high and low for. They were patient, and knew their stuff. Big on working with you on a deal to get you into the vehicle you want for reasonable prices. I also appreciated how honest these two gentlemen were. Definitely check this dealership out.
