While trying to find a car for my daughter, I stopped by to see the options available. I was soon greeted by Chris. He and I hit it off and were able to discuss her needs against his inventory. He has a good selection in a range of vehicles. Unfortunately, none are a fit for my daughters needs. Before leaving, I also met Larry who is the owner and Chriss father. He is a very nice Christian man who I believe is very honest and operates a legitimate business. Though we might not have a match this time, I will keep Showcase on the list should we have future needs.

I was looking for a truck and saw theirs during an online search. Stopped by and Larry, the dad, greeted me on the lot. Also met Andy and Chris, the sons, both solid guys. This is a family run business, honest, down to earth and never pushy, and open to share all details they have on the vehicles. The truck I bought was one-owner, very clean and well maintained. Chris buys most of their cars and was very knowledgeable and professional. They are firm on their prices but I felt the deal was fair and they did have the truck checked by their mechanic and replaced belts, headliner, dome light, wheel caps... made it look very nice. There are many reasons why they have very good online reviews. These are straight up good guys and Id recommend anyone to buy their next car from them. Ill be back.

I was interested in this GMC, went to test drive it on a Thursday but the check engine light was on, so they were going to have it checked and by Monday that I followed up the listing price was increased.That is just wrong in my book, but I thank you for the bad service because I was able to get a better GMC elsewhere.

Went to Showcase to look at a truck for my son. The truck was in good condition and we decided to buy it. We spoke with Larry and Chris and they were very nice and helpful. The truck needed a couple of minor missing parts such as an A/C outlet in the dash and the cover for the drink holder in the center console. They said they had already had the parts on order and after purchasing the truck they called the following week to schedule the installation of the parts and number plates. My son loves the truck and considering I was looking to spend almost double on a truck for him, this was a great find.

My mother began buying vehicles from this place over 13 years ago. A 99 Explorer, An 02 Explorer, A 96 Cobra Mustang, and now an 08 Mercury Mariner.... I must say that the Automobiles that we have purchased literally exceeded all of our expectations. Not too mention we still own the 02 Explorer and the 96 Cobra Mustang.... both were over 10 years ago and both still run great! The experience here has always been an amazing one... I just finished paying off my Mazda Miata MX-5, financed at Showcase Auto Sales. These guys made the experience very easy and they created a customer for life because of it. I liked nothing about them. They trick you and get you into paying too much for a vehicle that falls apart. For what we paid for the truck we purchased, we had to put half of the money into it because it kept falling apart.The horrible people that own the dealership dont even tell you everything that you need to know from the get go and dont do everything in their power to get a hold of you like they should. They will scam you for whatever money they can and screw you over. I do not recommend this unprofessional and shady car lot.

Had to immediately replace battery which I convinced them to pay for. Went to get gas after purchase and had to get jump from someone . Thats a bad feeling after spending $6500 plus taxes and paying cash no financing . Power steering pump was bad, leaking all fluid out within hours as well as brakes being so bad that it was unsafe to drive. They refused to fix anything and tried to send me to their mechanic across the street which wanted $1300 for repairs . Had my guy fix everything for $650.Oh and their warranty they try to give you to make you feel better about buying a used car is garbage . This company offered to pay like $200 of $1300 but I had to use their mechanic which was a hack. You have no warranty whatsoever so your better off just buying from an individual and paying less money.

I purchased a Chevy truck recently from Andy. As it turned out the whole family helped in making the purchase an extremely pleasant experience. They had the finance company bring the financial documents to us at the dealership. The vehicle developed a coolant leak 2 days after I took delivery of the truck. I made a call to Andy asking had he noticed any problems and he was not aware of any. Andy had me take it to his diesel mechanic shop to have it looked at. The waterpump had started leaking and Showcase took care of the entire bill from the shop. We will be back for any further needs for vehicles. Hope Andy, Chris and Larry have a great new year.

My niece, who lives with us, had been saving for a SUV after she had totaled her first car in an accident. It was a very small two door and the accident had left her scared to drive. She decided that she would only feel safe in an SUV. She started looking for a vehicle online and we drove her to check out the ones she found online. Most of them were almost an hour across Houston and every single one had problems and the people selling seemed shady. She really didn’t have enough money saved yet to get a dependable good car for cash but we did see some advertised for that price. We took her to some small car lots closer to our house and all the nicer ones were out of her price range and we didn’t feel comfortable with the cheaper vehicles or the pushy people selling them. One day, while she was at work, my husband and I decided to go to a few lots ourselves and scout out the vehicles. We stopped at Showcase Auto Sales on Spencer Highway in Pasadena. It is a family owned lot. When we got out of the car, we were greeted by Brody and Throttle. Brody is a friendly and loveably bull dog and Throttle is a sweet loveable orange cat who welcomes you with a meow and you can’t help but stop what you are doing and pet them a while. Outside at the car lot there is a picnic bench that is shaded and inviting and the owner of the lot, Larry, was sitting there and we sat down and started talking. He had a lot of beautiful SUVs that were reasonably priced, but out of the budget that our young niece had saved up. We didn’t look at any of the cars because our niece was adamant that she wanted a SUV. We sat there for a good hour just chit chatting and Larry took the time to give us great and valuable advice on what to look for in a used SUV, about different makers and mileage, etc. He was so funny, witty, and knowledgeable. We left feeling like we had been with family. A couple of days later, after much searching for a SUV in her price range, our niece told us she was willing to get a car as long as it was a four door and roomy. We decided to take her over to Showcase Auto Sales where we had such a great experience a few days before. When we got there we were looking around at the cars and Chris was helping us. We really appreciated the way Chris explained everything to our niece in a patient and honest way. While we were sitting in the office, Larry walked in. He had just bought a 2005 Toyota Corolla and it hadn’t been cleaned up or checked out completely by his mechanics yet but he said it drove awesome. He said he had our niece in mind and her budget when he bought it but we didn’t leave our phone number. We did tell him the name of the church we go to and he was going to contact our church to find us. Then….here we were sitting in his office. He showed the car to our niece and she loved it from the moment she saw the car. Larry went over and above to make sure the car was perfect. He took it to his mechanic and there was not much that needed to be done. He put on new brakes, changed the oil, washed and shined it up. He even put on four new hubcaps. We looked up the value of the car and he sold it to our niece for way less than it was worth because he truly wanted to help her get a car. This car is such a blessing. It is beautiful and the air blows so cold and drives like a dream. The interior is beautiful. But… most of all it makes my niece feel safe and she loves the way it drives. She got a beautiful car for the money she saved up which was an incredible blessing!! I am thankful that there are people in this world that truly have a beautiful heart. My wife and I were looking for a Nash Metropolitan and we came across a 1958 Metropolitan on the internet that was for sale at Showcase Auto Sales. I phoned them to learn the details of the car and spoke to Chris Fillman, the owner’s son. He referred me to his father, Larry Fillman, because he was more familiar with the vehicle.Larry told me the history of the auto and it’s total restoration. When I told him that I would like to view and test drive the Metro before purchase, he said he would hold the vehicle without a deposit until I could drive from Michigan to Texas (1,400 miles).Before my trip, Larry went into great detail concerning the few minor paint chips and flaws with the car so that we could pass on the car and save a 2,800 mile trip if we thought they were significant issues. He also called me before I was scheduled to travel because he discovered that one of his ads incorrectly advertised the Metro as an automatic transmission and it was a 3-speed manual. We assured Larry that both of us assumed it was a manual transmission and both of us could drive it. It was very thoughtful of him to warn us before I “launched” in case we wanted an automatic (although the Metro didn’t offer an automatic transmission option). Larry was offered several options for payment and we agreed on a method before I left.When I arrived in Texas, I discovered the vehicle was everything Larry had said it was. Based on his detailed description, there were no surprises. I drove the car and purchased it on the spot. We are very pleased with the Metro and the entire experience of dealing with Showcase Auto Sales. Peggy is thrilled with her “new” toy and heads turn whenever we take it out on the road.After the sale, Larry volunteered to assist me in the search for enclosed transportation of the vehicle from Texas to Michigan. He e-mailed me a list of transporters with their website, phone number and a point-of-contact person. He also provided the transporters on the list with the information needed to generate a quote using an enclosed trailer so they could directly e-mail a quote to me.I worked in the auto business years ago as a salesman and finance manager and then in banking as a dealership account manager for 26 years so I know what to look for in a dealership. Larry and his Showcase Auto Sales is the real deal! Larry Fillman is a 5-star person, running a 5-star dealership and is our newest (and only) friend in Texas;-)
