Hard to describe how amazing ur olive oil soap is. Worth every penny. Until you try it you dont realize... Kudos to the makers of these bars. I can never use soap from another place after trying these amazing soaps made by the Soap Kitchen! I love the black gold on my body and rose geranium with shea butter on my face & hands, my skin feels so smooth & hydrated from using these soaps made with real natural oils. I moved out of state and no longer in Pasadena this past year so I sorely missed walking into this store to bask in the heavenly fragrances from the soaps and I miss chatting with the friendly owner and her mom. This place truly is a local gem, I cant wait til the day pandemic is over so I can fly back to LA, best believe I will definitely visit this store when I find myself back in SoCal again! Until then, thank goodness I can continue stock up on the best smelling soaps in the world from their store online!

Was in the area and decided to stop by because Ive been wanting to switch to bar soaps. The place is so cute! The layout of the store is easy to navigate, and they have a ton of variety of soaps on display - all of which are made in-store! It seemed like the mom was working there that day, and she was so sweet and helpful in giving my recommendations to start with. I ended up getting a gift set of 6 half-sized soaps so I could try out different scents. I definitely will come back for Christmas/birthday gifts!

When you walk into the store it takes awhile to absorb you entered a special place. The scent of nature abounds. The soaps are hand-made right in the store in large vats. The techniques used are traditional and time tested which produce a great soap...soap that works well especially with SoCals heavy mineral water. I particularly enjoyed the soaps with tea tree oil.This is a great place for gifts for that special someone. Enjoy.
