First time visited the salon for color and cut Sonia is awesome. She truly loves what she does and aims to satisfy her customers. No matter how busy she gives every client her complete attention. Highly recommend her and I will definitely return.

Went to Ulta for the 1st time. Bought both items for $11. I believe it was buy one get one 50% off, so it seemed like a good deal :) the cashier signed me up for rewards and gave me a pamphlet of all the services Ulta offers. I added a picture of a coupon in case anyone wants to use it 🌞

Bad experience here! I normally use my Ulta account name for my shipping address and order pick-up. I went to pick up an order today and the salesperson refused to give me the order because my ID first name is different between my account first name, however, the last name is the same. Also, I showed her the QR code, order confirmation email and my ULTA order details in my phone app, but she still insisted to call their manager to verify. The manager came and told me don’t do it again next time with a rude tone… Excuse me??? Why did you act like my boss?I told them I use this name to pick up orders before, and no one gave me a hard time! It really wasted my time, and I was standing and waiting there like I did something wrong. I would never come back here shopping again. So disappointed!!!

The staff here is great. Their is always someone available to help you. Taking extra precautions with Covid. Everyone is cleaning and wearing a mask. Their are times you have to wait outside due to capacity but it moves quick. Even curbside pickup is quick and accurate. Always having great deals and offers. Clean and organized store.

Ive been to this store before they had the eyelashes on sale Im like wow, so I went again they were completely sold so I called they said over the phone their fully stocked I went and they had nothing, I spoke to the manager she took my name number said Ill call be back and honor the sale prices to this day she has not called me back its been a month, yes I called twice and she never called me back. Moral of this always get a name and dont trust these people word it isnt worth much.

I purchased several items using the Ulta app. During checkout, you select Pick-up option. I got an email afterwards pretty quickly that items were ready for pickup. I drove there and parked out front near a sign indicating curbside pick up, called them at the posted number to let them know I was there, and popped my trunk. A man with face mask and my items wrapped up in an Ulta bag ran out and put items in my trunk and then shut my trunk, waved at me, then ran back into the store. Quick. Efficient. Safe. Accurate count of my items in the bag plus some bonus gifts (they cant guarantee the bonus gifts that the website offers). Highly recommend this store and how they are keeping it safe!

First time going to Ulta. I usually go to Sephora or Macys for my make up, but I saw online that they carried a product I like. Walmart only have the travel size so, I went to Ulta. They have a lot of beauty products, but are a little pricey. The employees are helpful, and knowledgeable. There is something that Sephora does that Ulta doesnt do is SAMPLE the product. I just bought a IT Bye Bye foundation because they wouldnt give me sample. I breakout a lot when I use foundation, powders, etc. I know a foundation that is great for me, it just I wanted spf in my foundation. I will try the foundation, and if it doesnt work out Ill take it back. Since Ulta is closer to me than Sephora. Next time, Ill just go to Sephora, and spend my money there.

Great selection at this Ulta, but I realized they were profiling their customers.I had an hour to spare so I was walking around. Ulta is definitely a fun place to spend an hour. I never leave there without spending too much money, however... I was approached while shopping and when I let the sales woman know that I was just cruising, she directed me towards the sale items and kept a close eye on me while I shopped. It was really embarrassing.I’m far from a shoplifter. The next woman she approached, I noticed the space she gave her and that she offered her a shopping bag and led her towards the new in stock items that were big ticket and I could be reading into it, but customer service is supposed to make you feel much more welcome.

Bad lighting, crowded displays, and the cashier hounded me to sign up for their membership thing after I refused several times. Then, before she was done with my order she was already talking to the next person in line.

I like this place. I get my hair color here, and got a scalp scrub that was really helpful. The workers are helpful, and know their stuff. Theres something for everyone. Ive never used their salon, but I know some folks who swear by it. They also keep this one pretty clean, too.

Ulta was a great buy today. They have so many specials and discounts on make up for there 21 days of special. The entire store was full stalked & I was able to use some of my coupons and took advantage of the buy one half off or buy one get one free & I went home super happy and full stalked on my make up essentials. Theyre super helpful and kind! I called to ask if they have a product in stock and the woman was patient with me as I didn’t know the color and had to look it up while on the call. On top of that, when she found my product there was only 1 left and she offered to hold it for me! So i was able to buy the last one! Thank you!

Never shopping at this location again, I was literally harassed trying to shop, being followed and interrupted constantly!- by the same old woman. I left before getting everything I wanted because she was so annoying. Im trying to enjoy shopping and looking around, not have someone in my face. I said I didnt want help the first 5 times find something else to do. Ill spend the rest of my beauty budget elsewhere.

If you need assistance to buy makeup this is the place to come. However the checkout time is incredibly long. Waited over 10 minutes to be helped, only one cashier and didnt even apologize for the delayed.

If you like make up and stuff, its great. I went with my wife and she can always find something. They have a reward program so you can get free stuff.

Employees are helpful and knowledgeable. But when it comes to checkout, there are maybe two cashiers that are also doing returns, long lines and slow. Had to leave my stuff behind.

It was okay. Pricing is about the same as online. Staff was friendly when we finally were able to speak to someone. They had a lot of employees but everyone was busy. We went on a Wednesday between 2 and 3pm.

I had a very pleasant experience shopping at this Ulta store. The staff is beyond amazing here. In particular, one of the staff members (a lady with brown short hair and bangs - so sorry I didnt catch her name) has helped me jump my car in front of the store, as my battery died and I couldnt get back home. I caught her when she was leaving the store for a lunch break I believe, and despite that she was still so kind as to stop and help me! I couldnt thank her enough - thank you again!!

Nice team of girls behind the counter. they received a return of ours with no questions asked. we didnt like the product and they refunded no problem. all items in lines were also tidy and not all over the place. overall good experience

I had a bad haircut experience here but not due to the establishment. Even after getting rescheduled and ignored by the company, the hairstylist I just went to was amazing and made up for the bad experience last time. If you’re getting your hair cut here, ask for Ashley (yes that’s how her name is spelled). I’m not one for small talk but she made the experience not painful and actually I enjoyed talking with her. Thank you Ashley! I was so close to not coming back to Ulta.

This is the worst Ulta I have been to, they harassed my daughters and her friends they came into buy me hair products and they thought they were stealing. I have no respect for these women my daughter didn’t buy anything and we won’t buy anything from this store they made everyone in the store uncomfortable. My daughter had a lady approach her and wouldn’t leave her alone we were planning on buying a good amount of items but they made them all very upset. I would never recommend going here if you have children or daughters they are very disrespectful.

I always find the products I want and need its a bit pricier but I like it at Rosemead do to their much friendlier staff and their helpfulness theres one on foothill in Pasadena dont go there unless your white cuz the girls there wont ever look in your direction if your not white but just let some white people come in and they say hi and are all smiles and the wanna help you find something. I thought it was me and those last couple of visits but no they are bigots so I dont give them my money I hope they close this store and those girls get fired and go flip burgers

This rating is for the bathrooms. Every time I attempt a bathroom visit here I want to walk right out and not buy anything here. Too bad it’s the nearest location. From lack of cleanliness to no soap, it’s filthy. Nobody is too pretty to clean a bathroom. I blame management on this one for not enforcing an hourly check. Also- they don’t sell Clinique at this location.

Selection was nice, dont get me wrong. But the place is so under staffed. They kept having phone calls and the line was so long. I was waiting in line for so long I gave up and just didnt buy anything. I just walked out.

Friendly but huge line

Ive been coming here for years, and it is my go-to spot for many beauty buys. However, that is ONLY if I have one of their coupons, since the regular prices on the drugstore brand items are higher than at stores like Target. They do have a great selection of nail polishes and supplies.

This is THE place to get your hair done. Suzy is a master stylist and has done such an incredible job helping me reach my blonde hair goals. I absolutely love her! Her work ethic is one you rarely find now at salons and if you are reading this because you want to find someone you can trust with your hair she is the go to person. This review is about the Salon, not the store. I just got my hair cut here by one of the stylists and while the cut itself was fine, I felt so disrespected and belittled as a customer that I actually came home and cried.I realize that stylists see salon-quality haircuts as a necessity as much as dentists see usual brushing and flossing. However, I am an artist and have learned how to do my own usual trims at home in order to save time and money. I have medium-length hair and its one of the most basic haircuts, so its not difficult for me to do myself. I know when people try doing cuts themselves it often ends badly, but mine dont. But this time, I decided it would be nice to splurge and pamper myself with a salon cut. As soon as I sat down and mentioned I usually do my own trims, my stylist responds (in a tone people normally use when speaking to a toddler) oh, no, lets have no more of that. And that pretty much set the tone for the rest of the visit.I have had fine, thin hair my whole life. To the point I never braided my hair because it ended up just looking like a rattail. What can I say, genetics. So at the end of my session, rather than simply asking about the cut and thanking me for coming in, my stylist then gave me a childish lecture on ways to care for my thin, fine hair. And it was all things that I have heard and read before. Heck, Ive googled a TON about tips and products for my hair type. I know what Im doing. And I know what Im doing wrong. And honestly, this is another huge reason I HATE going to hair salons because for some reason every. single. time. stylists feel they need to give an unsolicited lecture on how to care for my hair I have had for my 28 years of life. I realize that to a stylist, this is what they do professionally and they take it very seriously. But, they need to realize that for some people, their services are a luxury. Customers dont want to come in and be treated like haircare is as important as healthcare. Because Im sorry, its not. We want to come in and feel like special, valued customers who are simply happy to have someone else make them look pretty. If customers want advice, believe it or not, well ask.To top off my experience, the person at the checkout could tell that I did not have a satisfactory visit - after asking me if I wanted to leave a tip, I said no (for obvious reasons stated above). And instead of asking if something had been unsatisfactory, she then seemed to treat me as an unworthy customer.Needless to say, next time I decide to pamper myself, Im going somewhere else that will treat me like a valued customer.

I got my hair cut there about one month ago, which was a huge mistake! I was very clear and specific that I didnt want choppy layers. I asked for longer layers. The weird woman with two-tone orange/black kept agreeing with what I asked for, and then cut completely choppy layers. Idiot! I will never get my hair cut there again.

Just left very offended! Walked in with the intention of buying a perfume and a bumble bumble hair spray! As I was looking for the perfume I was looking for i was handed a bag to shop around and got asked if I was finding everything alright about 3 time in 3 minutes! After i found the perfume I went to look at the Bumble Bumble section a guy with glasses came up to ask if I was finding everything alright I said yes! Then we asked how much a smaller perfume was because i was debating on weather or not to get the bigger size or smaller size! So I decided on just getting the bigger perfume, as I was putting the other perfume back to get the bigger one the same guy approached me and asked if I put everything back even the mascara?!?! I wasnt in the make up department! Im astonished that I was accused of theft at a make up store! They have good products but they will discriminate if your brown lol. I have money I dont need to go to jail. not every person that doesnt need help, a theif. Or maybe it was because my Boyfriend was brown! Disgusting expetience. Wont be back.

Annoying, unhelpful, pretentious, and did I mention unhelpful workers? Very hard to find help at this location. And when you finally find someone, theyre rude and very unaccommodating. I gave one extra star because I have encountered one or two pleasant workers here but its such a small percentage when the rest of them have horrible attitude. The male worker was especially rude when I asked a question regarding what they have in stock.

So i went to the pasadena store by game stop. I was obviously looking for a face makeup trying samples on my face at least two sales girls saw me but never asked if i needed help finally after 10 min a sales person asked if i needed help she showed me a cc foundation place a drop in my hand and the sample bottle in my other then told me to go play with it in front of a mirror.That is the first time ive ever had somone not offer to place it on me or help remove my exsisting foundation to try the other. Im not saying she was racist but she was sure helping the caucasian lady as if she were special. I wanted hair extensions too but no one to help me out. Anyways i wont be back.

I have been going to Ulta Salon since July 2015.I had a fantastic experience all three times with three different designers.They were extremely helpful; fun; and really came up with three different styles each time.I had shoulder length hair that I had not cut in five years. Cut three inches plus off the first visit.The second visit I again just walked in for a same day appointment and my hair style was perfect cutting off about two to three inches. It was perfect for me; however, I really wanted to go back to a really short short cut. Again I walked in in September and Jackie designed my hair exactly the way I asked her to after showing her several pix I had with me of possible styles I liked. I love it. Im hooked on ULTA Hair Designers at this address. So thankful to Pastor Debi Malouff (formerly HROCK Church Pasadena) who introduced me to this Ulta Beauty and Salon store.
