Amazing.Customer.Service.Thoughtful, helpful, understanding of my budget, needs, and wants. I filled out the form online, then connected with Maria the next day, and then went into the shop today. I have been researching Houston string shops and this shop with its 4 locations were perfect for our needs. Basically, they were the only ones that were responsive and ready to answer all of my questions :)They made sure all of the instruments that my children and I needed to play through were available and ready today. Mark helped me and explained everything - rental credit towards a purchase, month-to-month contracts for rentals, the variety of handmade advanced and elite instrument offerings. They even brought over an extra instrument for us to play through even though we ended up renting different advanced and elite instruments.They are masked, and so is everyone that enters this location, plastic shields are up, and there are multiple employees available to take care of everyone and I overheard many conversations between parents who have no musical background asking lots of questions or needing a lot of hand holding, and they were all treated with respect.I am more than happy with the price and service… I didn’t feel pressured or talked down to, or like I was annoying Mark with my 101 questions. That said, I am a 2nd generation, trained classical musician and this shop is perfect for my children’s and my needs. (They have been playing for 3-8 years each). Thank you, Lisle Violin Shop!

I recently rented a violin here for my daughter, and they are honestly just as friendly and helpful as I remember from when I was a kid in Orchestra. Absolutely the best place to visit for all instrument purchases and rentals.

Unorganized, but they had everything we needed in stock. Its the beginning of the school year. Maybe the crowd caught them by surprise.

The prices for the rental instruments are great, I pay $20 less a month for my cello here than at the other place I was renting from. And it is a better quality instrument. They also do repairs on site and minor repairs can sometimes be done on the same day.

If you are a novice or a beginner to orchestra, they will help you choose your ideal instrument. Excellent customer service when youre at the shop. It can take a while to reach them by phone though. May have to sit on hold for a while, if they have customers in the store. they work with you to find the right instrument for you. They have an excellent payment plan and Rental plan.

My daughter has advanced so much this year thanks to her instrument. I know the person behind it is the key but Lisle Violin makes it possible for these kids to get decent strings.

My mother and I purchased a violin and viola from Lisle Violin in Pasadena in the very early 1990’s. I have always loved my instruments because they have a beautiful sound. My violin was stolen this past week and Lisle Violin still had records on my sale and was able to give me the serial number 26 years later. Incredible record keeping, thank you!

Robert sales rep doesn’t have any customer service skills and very rude even with their fault in delivering faulty instruments. Was told over phone to provide additional strings for their fault and after arrival he is charging for strings said the I can complain to his boss

This place is a legend - my parents rented my violin from here in junior high many many (many) years ago and recently went as an adult to rent a cello. The manager, Robert, was really helpful last time I went in.

Im currently renting from this ship and have never had a Problem with the instruments, the staff or the other products. Id recommend them to anyone. I can rent an instrument and not have to worry about it if it gets stolen or damaged because of the insurance.

Needed Viola rental for middle school student. The staff at Lisle were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They knew exactly what we needed and had everything on hand. Highly recommended

I would recommend buying used instrument instead of renting for a new student. Almost spent $300 in a year renting one and they only give you $130 in credits which can only go towards a new instrument. And a used instrument costs upwards of $500.

Poor setup of cello, i called and updated them. I haf to point out an obvious error. A 3/4 size string on a full size cello, thr string was mounted to the tailpiece, not the obvious fine tuner. Super rushed job.
