I love this guitar shop. They are very knowledgeable about instruments and tune my violin free of charge. This is a great place to take a beginner musician for their 1st instrument.

I have been a customer here for 25 years and the service is the best you will find in a Guitar and music equipment store. Their knowledge is infinite on any brand or era instrument. They are family owned and operated and will take time to make sure you leave their store satisfied. They are great on repairs as well. TWO THUMBS UP !!!!

Any time I call and ask if they offer a specific service, whether it be a restring, shielding job, etc.. I get told Im better off doing it myself, as if my business isnt wanted. Im usually one to support local guitar shops, but in this case Ill make sure to take my business elsewhere. Where someone will gladly help me. Rather than try explaining through the phone how to do it myself.

In 1997 I bought a US Fender Deluxe Stratocaster from Stringer. It was a fair price for an excellent guitar, which I still own. Good people there.

They got almost everything you need with good prices. I got 3 packs of guitar strings that wouldve costed 4 times more at Guitar Center. The guy is very helpful finding things youre looking for or is best, and sometimes offers pretty good stuff.If youre looking for a guitar store that knows their stuff and what theyre doing and will help you, then this place is the one to go to.

Got me in and out in under an hour. They know what they are doing and I felt confident that the job was done right. When you say youll be there in an hour, bro be there in an hour . Funny sense of humor and Mr. Stringer doesnt mind teaching you a thing or 2.

My husband and I went in. My husband opened our guitar bag and before my husband could finish hIS sentence The guy quickly said I DONT SERVICE GUITARS!!!! Guy was on the phone and looked like once he seen us he quickly serviced my husband. I got a bad vibe. I had my two small kids with me 3 and 4 but quickly left. I know better. NOT A PLACE FOR SMALL CHILDREN. Not sure if it was reasonable. We tried our best to be in and out. I felt as if we were judged because were Mexican and have kids. I dont know whats happening to customer service. Its gone and dead and soon the intranet will be servicing us better than humans . Sad sad sad🙄😐😟

Always have a good experiance here. Good products and very knowledgeable about current and vintage products. I have purchased guitars and acessories here. Prefer Guitar Stringer over the other stores.

Lets be honest: Theres a good chance either the Sr. or Jr. Stringer is going to give you some sarcasm. Theyre also going to give you the right suggestion, and do the job well.

This place is great because of all the good quality instruments they have for a lower price than other guitar places. They have many acoustics and many bass guitars. I recommend for quality but NOT for customer service, the guy is always a sarcastic jerk and treats customers like hes always annoyed by them. Customer service is terrible but prices arent bad.

Dont go to the guitar center on fairmont parkway. GO to THIS place. Knowledgeable owner. They do repairs and saddle adjustments cheaply. Great selection. Its a guitar lovers dream...

John repaired the snapped headstock on my Martin and it was like new, he reset the action on my Gibson acoustic perfectly too.Robert just reset the action on my Epiphone EJ200 and it plays amazingly well nowand his encyclopedicknowledge of instruments old and new is very impressive indeed.Real salt of the earth people and honest / integrous to a fault .No snake oil in stock EVER.MY 1st choice music store for everything .

I was on my was to the other guitar place just because it was on my way. Soooo glad I came here instead. They took the time to not just try the sales pitch but actually taught us a few things about guitars. It very obvious they dont work on commission. He actually told us that we DIDNT need the more expensive tuner. WOW! how many places will sell what you need instead of always looking for the big dollar up sale? Will definitely be back. I dont know what tojam or that other guy are talking about not feeling welcome By the time we left we were being introduced to dad and long time friend/sometimes customer. LOL we felt more like part of the family.
