If I could give this location no stars at all I would. I was waiting to speak with pharmacy over an hour on the Phone and never got a response. This location needs more employees to provide better customer service. If patients trust this pharmacy it is because they need medicine.
I drove 20 minutes out of my way to get my usual brand for prescription. I had to pick up today since I ran out Sunday and would be out of state for a work trip the rest of the week. Manufacturer is supposed to be Mylan. Ive been taking it for a couple of years. I got home to find I was prescribed the brand Syeda which Ive never taken before. I know they are different brands of the same RX, but that is not the issue. If I had wanted a different brand I would have just gotten it from my usual pharmacy in Flowood - not driven all the way to Pearl. I went to the Pearl BECAUSE they said they had the brand that I usually take.
I used the automated phone to renew a prescription yesterday. Today I went to pick it up and it was not ready. They said come back in two hours. I came back in two hours, no one to wait on me, two people behind the counter totally ignoring me. Finally I called to one of them and asked about my script. No its not ready, come back in 15 minutes. They totally dont care if they wait on people or not. Pitiful but this is where my insurance pays for.
The pharmacist is very rude no reason to be. If you dont like your job go home.
CVS needs to remove the pharmacy lady as she cannot handle task effectively, refuses to pick up the phone, incapable of multitasking, terrible customer service. Corporate needs to take over
The manager or whoever she is has the most terrible attitude. Always on her personal cell or listening to music. Doesn’t greet customers or anything. Her “I didn’t come to work to work” attitude is Absolutely horrible & I don’t see how she’s a manager of any sort.
Very rude! Horrible customer service.
Staff has no problem yelling at customers, including pharmacists, and even management is incapable of solving such a simple issue. Staff is rude and unappreciative of the customers that provide them with paychecks. Prescriptions take 45 minutes to an hour to fill regularly. Ive never had a prescription take longer than 15 minutes across the street at Walgreens. You dont need CVS; CVS needs you. Spend your money where it is appreciated.
I’m in here at MINIMUM once a month but if squally it’s more like every other week. The pharmacy staff knows me and are so kind and helpful. I had certainly had some questions over the years that may have seemed strange but they were always ready to answer any question.A year ago I had to fill a prescription that was going to cost me $300+ and the staff helped me download an app to get a coupon from the manufacturer that made the medication free!! I cried because I wouldn’t have been able to get it filled without them. They are usually the same or not far from the cheapest but even when they aren’t, the quality of service and to actually feel like they care is WELL worth it.
I have always had a good experience with Cvs, when getting my meds ready they are always on top up it, I would like to give a big thank you to Zeppora for getting us taken care of on filling a prescription for my husband even tho they were closing, thanks again Cvs!!!
This place is like my Wal-Mart! I love coming in here. Usually I need one or two things but end up leaving with a basket full. Other reviewers are correct - it takes FOREVER to get a prescription filled. Go to polks in Brandon crossgates!
My wife and I used to use Eckerds drug store many years ago before it was purchased by CVS. We then used CVS for a few years. It was a nightmare. At Eckerds, we knew the pharmacists and they knew us.Like your doctor, you want to have a good relationship with your pharmacist. You want the pharmacist to be familiar with you and the meds youve taken and are taking. There are thousands of deaths and hospitalizations each year due to pharmaceutical mistakes. In my opinion, this risk is lower when you have a one on one relationship with your pharmacist. At this particular CVS location, there was a constant rotation of pharmacists. Maybe one would be there a few months and then gone. There also appeared to be a high turnover in the support staff as well.My wife and I had at least four or five occasions where the pharmacist did not mix/constitute antibiotics for our children. Wed get home and would have a medicine bottle filled with powder because it was not properly prepared by the pharmacist. We switched to Freds pharmacy and have had great experiences with them.
Everything but the prescriptions are overpriced, however the staff is friendly and helpful.
I’ve tried to give this store several chances but they are always rude & understaffed.
Horrible customer service, takes a minimum of an hour for any prescription. I will be changing pharmacies.
