I love everything about this location. I appreciate that its open 24 hours because my crazy schedule requires it. I always receive excellent customer service from the pharmacy staff, cashiers and store employees. They always have whatever I need in stock.
Literally the worst pharmacy on the face of the planet. Simple job, fill the prescription the DR called in. They sat on the prescription for 3 hours and when I called it took them 48 minutes to pick up the phone, place me on a brief hold, pick up the phone again, place me on another brief hold, pick up the phone again and then tell me they have the medication, my insurance info, but wont fill the prescription my DR. electronically sent in because the pharmacist didnt feel like the medication was a good fit. Keep in mind, a Board Certified Medical Physician/Orthopedic Surgeon sent them this prescription after my surgery. It took me over 5 hours to get my medication. Will never use again. All business will go to Kroger from now on, no exceptions.
Called last night to refill prescription-used automated system but at the end it directed me to the pharmacist. I was on hold for over 15 minutes before the pharmacist came on the line and said she was by herself, very busy-doing her best..and she assured me she would help me soon as I was next. Then after I was on hold for an ADDITIONAL 15 minutes (so holding for 30 minutes) the phone started ringing. It rang and rang and rang and rang. Then I was disconnected. I called back to speak to someone in the store. They were of no help at all saying “We’re just really busy and she (the pharmacist) won’t speak to me. Good for me that my life does not depend on the medicine I was TRYING to get. Ridiculous.
I was calling for my prescription and was on hold for almost 30 mins just to check if they have it in stock or not, and finally she said “ yes we have it and will be ready in an hour and half. But when i pick up the meds, someone else was there and said we dont have it in stock. I don’t know what kind of service they have, its so disappointing. Very bad service!!
Very slow. Only one lane operates and that too with a broken speaker system. You have to speak through the delivery drawer. Which is impossible if the car behind you has its motor running. The drawer has cob webs all over it. You literally have to weave through the cob webs to retrieve the prescription. Enlarge the photo and see for yourself.
If I could give a zero if I could The pharmacy is the worst with helping customers with life altering medication. They are always playing games with my sons medication after 12 years now. I have had enough. Night Manager Is a sweetheart, but doesnt follow through, cuz she doesnt see the day time manager! Go figure!!!
This is your desperation pharmacy. If you can’t get your prescription filled anywhere else and you have no choice, plan for several hours of frustration and painful ineptitude.
Suggestion to Pharmacy Manager/Store ManagerMedications ordered from the Central location or elsewhere should be processed by one individual once they clock in. A comment of We have not had time to process them is not satisfactory for the customer base.
Almost everyone Ive met and checked out with is very friendly and nice but for this one time last week I had a lady by the name of Karen check me out and was not very kind and did not greet me or acknowledge me when I left. I mean mostly everyone at this Walgreens location is very nice and friendly.
Wouldn’t give Covid booster despite photo documentation of need and prior vaccination
I would give it a 0 if I could.. first time picking a prescription up here and I’ve been in line for 30 mins already ... 30! And I’m blocked in and can’t get out of line .. insane
Its a shame that it has come to this, but Im urging everyone to COUNT YOUR PILLS AT THE COUNTER when you pick up a prescription. I was shorted half a months worth of Adderall, and because their inventory checks out ok, I cant prove I was shorted and/or someone in the pharmacy might be stealing. Anyone with this type of prescription knows that I cant just ask my doctor for a refill mid-month, so please, check your pills before you leave the counter.
This has to be the absolute worst pharmacy in the whole world! You all need to be fired how did u get a degree because you all are pathetic!
Fast and friendly service this is my go to pharmacy.
They are always so slow in the pharmacy. Have been waiting for an hour. Work with no haste like we have all the time in the world.
The absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They’re rude, have no idea what they’re doing and you have to wait over an hour every time without fail only for them to call you after waiting to say they don’t have your medication. Just terrible honestly.
Fast, good customer service
Ordered new biz cards online and set to pick same day. Daniel helped me with my order. Everything looks great.
Pharmacist is very rude and slow.
I came here this evening to do a little Christmas shopping. I noticed that some of the items I was buying had online coupons. I had never used this before and Im not good with technology, but decided to login and try it. When I got to the register I told Shane, an extremely helpful and patient young man, that I needed help using my online coupons. Apparently I logged into another account and my coupons didnt come up. He spent quite a while helping me and was able to figure out what I had done. Another young lady came up and opened another register so the other customers didnt have to wait behind me. All of the employees were very pleasant and helpful, but Shane was exceptional. I love my local Walgreens! And Shane deserves a raise🙂.
24 hour pharmacy, closed for a pharmacist 30 minute lunch break sometime from 1-2 am
This place is great the workers are amazing and get the job done.
Rude Pharmacist. Poor management. I was making an effort to pick up my wifes prescriptions from this location. After many failed attempts to communicate the insurance info over the phone to the pharmacy tech, I showed up in person. I handed them the card and had my insurance provider on the line to help assist in solving the issue. After a short conversation on the phone, the Pharmacy tech gave up in processing the order even with the assistance of the provider. The entire time the actual pharmacist on duty continued to be no help and offered no assistance to the situation. I like to think that I remained calm and grateful for their assistance through the entire process, but the pharmacist was very rude towards me. Long story short, went to HEB down the street. Told them the horror story, they had my wifes prescriptions filled in 10 minutes with smiles on their face. THANK YOU HEB!
I’ve been coming to this Walgreens for years and the pharmacy has steadily declined. We were second person in line in the drive thru and it has taken over 30 mins to get the prescription. There is ZERO sense of urgency, organization is non-existent and they have someone, with a nose ring like a bull (very unprofessional) working the window who was completely clueless. Very frustrating to say the least. I will be moving where I can my prescriptions.
This place is NOT 24 hrs. Looked on the website and called and they both stated it was a 24hr Walgreens. Very inconvenient when you have a sick child and trying to get meds. Edit you web phone so they dont mislead ppl to this Walgreens then its closed like it happened to me..
I go to this Walgreens all the time and theyre great during the day. The night shift is when all the problems start. If you go through the drive thru, the pharmacy is as slow as a sloth. Its 1 person working and she takes care of all the people on the inside even if you arrive at the window before them.
Not sure why there are negative reviews. Ive always had great service from the pharmacy. Just recently there was a mix up between meds from 2 different doctors. My dad takes over a dozen different meds and both were on auto refill. His dosage had changed and the pharmacy staff helped sort it out so we made sure my dad was receiving the correct dosage from the right doctor and we discontinued the automated refill on the older Rx. I thought it would be a long, confusing ordeal but they handled it like a pro. Great service.
Yes to their 24 pharmacy, they are fast with my prescription and always keep me informed when things dont always go right from the doctors. I would recommend this location.
Ivana was not helpful or patient when I needed assistance. It seemed she saw customers as an inconvenience since she made annoyed and rude gestures whenever I asked questions. This Walgreens employee is lacking customer service, hopefully that changes next time I visit.
Helpful friendly staff and pharmacist. Following the rules they are given.
I had a prescription electronically sent in for me. After I left the clinic, I called to see what time it would be ready. I was told a time, so I went to the pharmacy at least ten minutes after that time. It was not ready and I was told it wasnt due in their system for another 30 minutes so I had to wait longer. I dont mind waiting at my home until its ready, but at least give me an accurate time so I dont waste your time and mine.I know they deal with people at their worst, when they are sick or in pain. Im sure our crankiness does not make for a good day for them. However, if you are using this pharmacy, I recommend that you call ahead and make sure it is ready before you leave. And then wait 15 more minutes. :)
Terrible
I have been going to this Walgreens for years and have ALWAYS been greeted by kind hearted professionals. Thank you for being there when needed
SLOWEST and most inefficient group within the last 5 months. Whenever they update information, it’s never saved and I have to have them re-enter it every time. Saved wrong number for me and never called about my prescription. There is ALWAYS a long line and people complaining before I reach the register. I suggest to use one of the other Walgreen’s pharmacies.
Polite and friendly staff always quick to greet you and help with your shopping experience.
Horrible horrible horrible service! I went to get my prescription and I was told to come back 2 hours later so I did. Just to find out they ran out but I could drive 30 min to a Walgreens that will have it. I called bs on that and went to the other Broadway location in Pearland and they had it. This Walgreens gives zero care customer service. Never going back to that Walgreens!
Worst pharmacy Ive ever dealt with. If theyre not shorting your pain meds, they cant keep track of your benefits and constantly have to verify. If you want an attitude on top of it, this is the pharmacy for you!
Always has what I need, very impressed
Way too slow. Doesnt matter what time of day it is, youre easily spending 30 minutes waiting. Got my prescriptions wrong more than once, too.
Long wait in the drive through. Im tired of waiting in line 20 minutes at 11pm. Im going to CVS.
Ive never waited less than three hours for them to fill a prescription here. My worst wait was over six hours as the other reviewer mentioned. I call them to make sure they have it in, yes we do, we will have it ready in about 2 hours because we are very busy. Okay, I come in three hours later figuring it would surely be ready... nope! They did something in the computer making it be on hold or something and it didnt get filled. Sorry about that, It will be ready in about 2 hours. If given the choice, Kroger is next door. They are usually 30-45 minutes and you can shop while you wait, not to mention the fuel points you can get.
Excellent customer service and quick photo processing
I switched to this Walgreens because I liked picking meds up after dropping my son off at school, and the one on Harkey isnt 24 hours. So I have been using this one for at least 6 months. I recently was able to update my info as far as my maiden name/married name. Someone obviously decided instead of updating my info to make a new profile instead. Fast forward to today, my Dr called in an RX at 11. 4 hours later Im still waiting. I have text updates so it lets me know when my RX is ready. Finally called and the automated line said there was no status for my RX, so I assumed my Drs office dropped the ball. Emailed them and they called and my pharmacy said they had no insurance information for me so they could not fill it. What?! I just picked up an RX on Sunday that I have on automatic refill! Called and spoke to the pharmacist. First off, cant even understand her over the phone. She doesnt even try to make herself understandable with her accent. Second, she said they had no insurance or phone number for me, and I told her that is impossible because I literally just picked up an RX from them 4 days ago. Which I got a text telling me it was ready. She tried arguing with me and treating me as if it was my fault somehow. I told her it was not my problem that someone did not enter my information correctly, besides I dont see how I have been getting RXs filled if they didnt have my info. The pharmacist was downright rude, and really needs to take a lesson in customer service. If she cant handle her job, maybe she needs to find a new one. Will be switching to HEB pharmacy.
Not so impressed. I have an acute condition that hurts. I went to the doctor, doctor sent Rx to this walgreens (electronically, which apparently takes at least 30 minutes to be received). SIX HOURS LATER, I still dont have my meds. And Im quite uncomfortable. I dont feel like they were proactive, nor did they bother to call me to let me know what was going on. It took three trips there to be done. So if you have a standard Rx that you can fill a day or two beforehand, sure, they are fine. But if you are hurting and need an Rx anytime soon, ... not so much.
My family and I absolutely refuse to use the pharmacy at this location. Even if no one is in line, expect to wait a minimum of 10-15 mins to be asked if you can be helped. There is no drop-off or consultation window here (hasnt been for at least the past 3 years). Everyone waits in a long line wether youre picking up, dropping off, or simply have a quick question. The pharmaceutical staff will ignore you and go about their tasks behind the counter until it seemingly suits them to deal with a customer. At any given time there will be a multitude of aggravated & desperate individuals waiting in line at the counter needing help. If there is more than one person waiting, prepare to wait 20-30 mins in this case. Although my wife and I live 2 blocks from this location, we happily drive 10 mins further to another pharmacy. Apparently for these ill-tempered employees, job-security isnt a concern. Nor is the concept of customer-service, for that matter. In these many years, Ive rarely dealt with such a low caliber of supposed professionals. And Ive never met a bunch that couldnt possibly care less about repeat business. However, its a pleasure dealing with any of the other regular staff members here. Just dont go to the back for a prescription! My advice would be to avoid this pharmacy like the plague. And definitely avoid it if you have the plague. Because itll be next to never before getting any help here. Id rate them as: Negative-5 Stars only if it were an option...
I love this pharmacy because it is easy for me to get my childs meds on time. And also they never jack up my prescriptions i love this particular walgreens
The pharmacy here is absolutely terrible. The night shift pharmacist is always on a power trip and the day shift is incompetent.
I switched from CVS because Walgreens used to do a really good job of getting your prescriptions filled on time. Now they are as bad or worse than CVS.
One of the worst Walgreens in America they dont respect you they dont care about you SPECIALLY IF YOU PERSON OF COLOR
Ok drugstore
There is only one lane in outside pharmacy lane.
Takes forever to get medication when you are in pain
