Amazing brunch! Highly recommend if you are in Pensacola. They have seasonal drinks and coffee. Awesome service and you can request to sit outside. The omelets were full to the edges with toppings. Big servings, couldnt finish all my food. Delicious crispy house made fries.

Absolutely Amazing! Everything we have had is just top notch and never disappoints! Highly recommend the bone marrow appetizer and the key lime tart for dessert is amazing! Hard to say for the entree because everything is just great! The service is excellent and as long as you have a reservation you get seated right away!

I liked George so much that I went on Thursday for lunch and went back for brunch on Sunday. The cocktails are great and the brunch food was delicious. I really liked the ambiance of the outdoor patio and how kind all the servers were while I was dining alone. So close to the airport it was perfect for my layover.

Incredible brunch! We made reservations (for my birthday!) and everything was wonderful. We started with the beef carpaccio with a side of bread. I also had the shrimp and grits and a mimosa. Christian was our server and he was wonderful! Great experience, we will be back!

My son brought me there as a mothers day gift because I like a nice restaurant. Then I got to go back for my birthday. Absolutely, the nicest restaurant. I love the food and the presentation is amazing. You will not regret going.

Literally the best food I’ve eaten in my life. Better than doe’s eat place in Greenville. Everything was made perfectly. Would highly recommend!! Jesus himself is back there making the food. Fantastic food! The Ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Paired with grilled asparagus and sautéed mixed mushrooms it’s a meal that is hard to bet. Unless you start off with roasted Bone Marrow. This appetizer is so rich and flavorful you could just order dessert and coffee afterwards.If you can sit at the bar. The staff behind the bar are AmazeBalz. The knowledge factoids and general social interaction of Nichol (?) and the gang elevates the meal to an experience.

We love George Bistro. I will warn you now, prepare to leave your wallet on the way out, because its a bit pricey, though worth every penny. The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing, drinks are fantastic, and the staff treat us like long-lost friends.This is where we go for special occasions. Its where we take out of town guests. Its where we go when we need to have something special to make up for a less-than-special day.

I enjoyed this place very much. The menu was inventive, and the portions were impressive. Lots of crafted drinks, not just cocktails. Service was very friendly, and we were seated quickly with a reservation. We got the half French Toast as a sort of appetizer. SO YUMMY! I had the Salmon and Poached Eggs with truffle parmesan fries, which came out kind of cold; I didnt finish the fries because although they were tasty, the temperature just wasnt right. My friend had the Steak and Eggs, medium rare that ended up being pretty much rare. The service was good, a man over all great time. So, we would definitely go back.

I visit home, Pensacola, from time to time, and every time I do, I try and visit a new restaurant, as well as a couple of my favorites. But in terms of my new one, it was overwhelmingly obvious that I come visit George. Id been hearing a lot about George.The atmosphere is hard to describe. Its Southern, for sure, but not classic or rustic or even upsale. It felt like the inside of Leos house at the end of Django. It was quite nice and inviting. Theres a nice patio where singers can sing. And the porch of the house has seating all around it, too. Its really quaint and pleasant on the eyes. Youll see.Our server was beyond nice. She knew the specials of the night and made recommendations and helped me find my way to a fancy coffee drink that was served inside of a wine glass and had the rim covered in coconut shavings. It was called the Iced Coconut Iced Latte. So much fun. We did two apps, two entrees, and a dessert.I primarily had the Bone Marrow (roasted bone marrow, pickled onions, radish and parsley, bacon onion jam, toasted artisan bread). There are three levels of bone marrow at restaurants: the losers who dont offer it, the losers who buy the discount bones and you get maybe one bite out of each piece, and then the winners who offer apps like this.They give you three, THREE, bones that are the epitome of unctuousness. Three is almost too much. I was looking for relief on my palate. Luckily... they give it to you. Acidy picked onions and sweet, amazing bacon onion jam and more baguettes than you can count. Wow. This was an indulgent app and I loved every second of it. Honestly, the top prize of the meal tonight. Truly unique. You should get this.I also got to sample the Pear Gorgonzola Rosemary Tart (puff pastry, green danjou pears, dolce gorgonzola, rosemary, arugula, scallions, walnuts, 18-year aged balsamic). This app was admittedly less awe-inspiring, but it was solid. The puff pastry was flakey and cooked well throughout. The amounts and the cut of the pears and the gorgonzola was perfect, a nice balance to the buttery crust. The classic topping combination was complimented with their signature balsamic. You can imagine how good that was. AND, then they give you a sprinkle of walnuts for added texture. Solid.For my entree, I had the Grilled Lamb Chops (grilled lamb chops dusted with Chef’s spice blend, Mediterranean gouda polenta cake, sautéed green beans with caramelized shallots, toasted almonds, 18 year-aged balsamic + pomegranate reduction). These crazy people give you six chops. Six. Theyre petite, but still, thats a lot. Thank you for that, George. And they were cooked well and had that nice spice blend on them.The polenta cake acted as a great little carb. And the green beans were cooked well, with just enough of a bite to be interesting, along with the classic dusting of slivered almonds. All of this is covered with their balsamic again, which was nice, but not really necessary here. But, you know, not complaining.I also had the Seared Scallops (seared diver scallops, creamy parsnip purée, roasted tomato, red bell pepper and arugula salad, lemon vinaigrette, crispy sweet potato hay, parsley oil, 18-year aged balsamic reduction). This was a super well composed dish. The scallops were seared SO GOOD. Seriously, check out the pic. So they were perfect. The accents didnt let you down, either. The parsnip puree had a tinge of sweetness to it and was super duper creamy. The cute little salad was fresh and acidic and the sweet potato hay I could literally eat a pound of. So good.And finally, the dessert. We shared the Peanut Butter Bliss (decadent layers of our chocolate cake and creamy peanut butter mousse finished with peanut butter cream cheese frosting). Decadent is right. Deep, sweet chocolate balanced well with a not-so-sweet mousse. This was very delicious. No complaints.Overall, this has to be one of the top restaurants in all of Pensacola. Its so tough between this and Iron. Ill have to eat at both again the next time Im in town...

Great spot to visit if you are in Pensacola, Florida. Food and service here was amazing. I highly recommend everything try their blood orange margarita, so delicious. Serving sizes of all the foods at brunch are well worth the price and honestly is enough for 2 people. My friend had the Rosemary Lavender cappuccino and it was amazing as well!!

Everything is good here! The cheese board is a necessary addition to the meal.

When you first get there, the hostess makes you feel like your a horrible human for NOT make reservations. The inside sitting is not where it is at. Its is super loud. The food is great and worth stopping by for a taste. I wont be coming back for seconds.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I had drove by it a few times and remembered it being some other restaurant back in the day (maybe 8 years ago). My co-workers finally covinced me to go for a team dinner.When we walked in, I felt it would be special. Outstanding atmosphere, really nicely renovated building with enjoyable outdoor seating. We started with a few appetizers. The presentation of the food was beautiful and tasted even better! We got a bottle (or two 😉) of the Juggernaut Russian River Pinot Noir. It is a very smooth and tasty wine. For my dinner I decided to get a Ribeye. It seemed like a iffy choice at a bistro, but I did it any way 😬. It didn’t disappoint. Perfectly cooked, good season, and came with a mixed greens salad with a delectable balsamic vinaigrette. On top of that, the service was awesome amd the appetizers and food came out very quickly. We had an awesome time and the total experience was perfect.

Called ahead for reservation, immediately sat down, did not wait longer than them to take us to our table. Greeted within 30 seconds our waiter, Mitchel H. Kind and friendly with a big smile! Even went As far as to ask the chef to throw a egg on top of my burger . Food was excellent and made to perfection. My wife had the mahi-mahi sandwich. Again, cooked to perfection and seasoned well as blackened! Chai latte was amazing ! Definitely exceeded my expectations which were quite high! Will be back very soon !

We had the best dining experience here! The shrimp and grits were divine as well as the cocktails. Love the atmosphere and Aaron, the manager was very accommodating as well.

Our server George was super cool and fun. We really enjoyed chatting with him. My friends and I ate Sunday Brunch and let me tell you....so so so delicious! Worth every penny. The drinks are hand crafted and food is fresh and cooked to order. The atmosphere is fun and I can see why its so popular. We look forward to joining them for dinner.

An impromptu stop to eat here before catching a flight out of town and it was our best meal of the week! The menu uses all seasonal fruits and veggies, and sources local meats, cheese and breads. We went at brunch time and ordered an array of items. Only wish we could have also had dinner there. The cocktails are some of the best we’ve had ever, and a great start to a wonderful meal. We started with crispy artichokes and the spring pea and mint ricotta. Wowowow! The sauce of the artichokes was drinkable. People at our table used extra bread to sop it up from the bowl. The ricotta was fresh and unique, but we couldn’t stop eating it. We also had the steak and eggs (filet with chimichurri cooked perfectly), bread pudding penedict (imagine savory bread pudding with creamy hollandaise and perfectly poached eggs), brunch burger, pear and Gorgonzola tart, and the avocado power bowl. Which was so large, you can make 2 meals out of it. I wish I could transplant this restaurant to our hometown, although we’d go bankrupt eating there at every meal.

This was our first visit here. I had read reviews about Georges on line that were great, also viewed the menu also looked great. So I made reservations for my wife, another couple and myself for 7:45 on Saturday night.Arriving at the restaurant by car the exterior is attractive. We had no problem parking a F250 crew cab.Inside we were immediately greated at the hostess station and seated at a nice four top in the main dining room. This restaurant has a comfortable upscale feel to it, nice decor and even though all tables were full we did not feel crowded and could easily carry on conversations at our table, I fact the acoustics of the dining room were great.Our server was also great. It became quite obvious he was a professional. He was courteous, friendly, attentive and really knew the menu and how to make a verbal presentation of each selection.The food was quite good, portions sizes seamed right on, presentation was on par with this class of dining. A few of the highlights were Georges French Fries appetizer everyone liked them and a portion was adequate to serve 4. The Short ribs were also a scrumptious treat.The cost was reasonable at about $35 to $50 per person without liquor.Made for a very pleasant experience, we have already agreed to return.

Absolutely a fun place to go, cute restaurant felt very Southern reminded me of my grandmothers house right down to the glasses we drank out of. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. Very thought out the flavors and yummy really good experience. Wish I would have gotten more.

LOVE the atmosphere and friendly service...not to mention the food is incredible! I had the GL burger with truffle fries and a toasted coconut iced latte. I would, and probably will, get both again! They are pricey, but the food and service are worth it.

The food here is pretty good. Everything we had was cooked perfectly. They had quite a few specials, 2 appetizers and 2 entrees and the poor server had to recite them for a while, it would be nice if they just had a printed sheet with them. We dined on the porch outside and I am not sure if we could have eaten inside as it reeked of truffle oil or Foie gras.

Had the pleasure of the first brunch of our life with my husband. Brandon was our server. Quite possibly the best server we ever had. Very talented and the perfect amount of service. The food was incredible. We really treated ourselves because it wasnt cheap but its the kind of experience you dont feel bad about later. Ask for Brandon. The cocktails are divine. We live around the corner and will be back very soon.

If you want a great atmosphere and amazing food you have to try this place. We had to wait a while for our food but it was worth the wait. Our server was Jay and he took time explaining the food and his suggestion which we appreciated. It wasnt until later in the service that it started to get awkward...,they asked to move a table that we were using to use for another party which was weird and unprofessional, and it was not disclosured that we would have 20% gratituity for our party of only 6 which is not a big party at all. I still decided that the food and the server, before the awkwardness, deserved 5 stars.

While in Pcola stopped by for lunch. The lobster roll and truffle fries caught my eyes! The roll was made with claw meat, cucumber, mayo and a little micro greens, nicely done! The smell of truffle on hot fries is AMAZING. I will definitely be back to sample more of the menu💯

Husband & I joined a friend last night for dinner at George Bistro & Bar. IT WAS FABULOUS!! ❤❤ Amy, our waitress was courteous, professional & knew the menu/specials well. Everything from the tuna tartare appetizer (special) to the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for dessert was absolutely delicious. Main course choice was sea scallops with pureed parsnips, arugula salad & sweet potato haystack. YUM!!! Our friend had same dinner as myself and equally enjoyed the meal. My husband had the short ribs with wild mushroom ravioli. Another great main course! Highly recommend!!

This was probably one of the top 5 restaurants weve ever been to. Food was amazing! Christina, our server was kind and a pro. We loved it! We will definitely be back.Update: We came back again on May 25, 2021 and again were blown away. It was SO good! Every dish, filled with a wide array of amazing flavors. Celebrated our 31st wedding Anniversary Wednesday night and had an amazing experience!! Food was outstanding as well as cocktails. Our server George was on top of his game, asking if we were celebrating anything when we were seated and then surprised us with a beautiful and delicious dessert!

Great food and service here everytime we go. Not a cheap place, but I do feel like you get what you pay for. Its usually busy, but theres lots of outdoor seating as well. And the bar seating is always a great option. The bartenders have always been quick, efficient and friendly.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Crystal, our waitress, was super sweet and helpful, the cook made sure my allergies were catered to and cooked my meal completely separately, and dont get me started on the quality of the food!! Someone else on here recommended the halibut, and my husband seconds that recommendation. It is a slightly smaller porion than he would have liked, but it was the most delicious thing he has ever had. My shrimp and grits were plentiful and very good, and they brought my husband a complimentary slice of chocolate cake for his birthday! We will definitely come back when were back in town!

My husband and I sat outside on the beautiful veranda, and had a delicious meal that we shared, and wonderful glass of wine. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and prompt.

I’m new to the Pensacola area and this has been by far the best restaurant yet. The atmosphere and vibe is incredible. The food was AMAZING. I got the Avocado Power Bowl with salmon and it was the perfect amount of food and flavor-able. Our server (Shannon) was an absolute gem. She was entertaining and knew that menu like the back of her hand. She was knowledgeable on everything and gave us the breakdown of each food. I can’t wait to go back again!

Hadnt been in for 5 years and theyve moved and expanded since. Menu is still delicious and staff is even friendlier. Only thing I miss is being able to carry out a fresh loaf of rosemary bread.

This wasnt my dining partners first visit, but it was mine. The interior was inviting and spacious, so when we were seated on a adjoining table with a 4 top, it was a little to close to enjoy ourselves, so we asked to be moved. No problem to move us, but why we were seated initially when the dining room had plenty of open tables was strange. Our server was pleasant and attentive at the start. We began with Blood Orange Margarita and Little Gentian. Both were beautiful and fabulous cocktails The special tuna (which had us wanting to lick the plate) and George Fries (a huge serving!) appetizers were delicious! Our main courses of Lamb Chops and Seasonal Veggie with Salmon were delightful to the eye and pallet. My Lamb Chops were prepared perfect medium rare as requested and the accompanying gouda polenta was creamy with a crispy exterior. The sauted fresh green beans were crunchy and seasoned well. The seasonal vegetables were gorgeously prepared and delicious (the salmon was good, but not great). The artichoke was on point!! A very tasty addition to excellently prepared kale, peas, mushrooms, asparagus and zucchini. We finished with a huge slice of Coconut Cake and port. The cake was so very good with a custard type layer and not overly sweet. Overall we enjoyed our dinner very much. On a side note, I was disappointed in one other thing. As sweet as our server was, she must have had too many tables or staff was not helping. Our appetizer plates were still on the table (which was a small 2 top) when our main course was served, which made delivery quite the juggling act. Also, for a fine dining experience, when asked to box leftover appetizers, a Togo container was given, but with so little table space, I used a nearby chair to fill and place. This by no means made our dinner unenjoyable, just an observation to better provide attentive service. Will definitely recommend and return again soon. I want to try everything on the menu!

Waitresses were excellent. Large group of 25 and no wait. Food was excellent.

The atmosphere is as good as the cuisine! The service was very attentive and made wonderful recommendations. We had the cheese platter which came with fruit, nuts, honey and charred bread. Everything was in balance and not too filling. For the main course we had the shrimp and grits and the filet with asparagus and finger potatoes. Both were amazing! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. For desert we had the creme brulee and espresso. A great way to complete a meal. Make sure you make a reservation if coming on Friday or Saturday night.

Most amazing service! Nicole our waitress was amazing. The food was so good. My service dog accidentally knocked over a couple of drinks and they cleaned it up so quick and didn’t charge me for them. Hands down best dining service in town!

This was our first visit here and it was completely worth it. The tuna tartar and crab cakes in the picture were amazing. The halibut blew me away with the sauce that was on it and the waygu steak was extremely flavorful. Our server was fantastic and attentive to our drinks the entire time and never missed a beat with clearing the table. Overall a great experience with wonderful food and would definitely come back here.

This was an amazing restaurant experience. The service was phenomenal and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the many different menu options. Took my wife out for a romantic dinner away from the kids and the atmosphere here served for a great experience. We ordered the meat and cheese board which was a great appetizer, I did have a little buyers remorse as I saw all the Georges fries being delivered to the tables around me but I dont think you can order a bad dish. For dinner I had the ribeye and my wife had the Alfredo. Both dishes were amazing and we had no complaints about either of them.

One of my favorite spots in town to dine at. We always come here for special occasions or a casual lunch. The staff is also very sweet! I really recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Meh. Overpriced and dressed up. $34 for 4 medium scallops dunked in parsnip puree so that you couldnt even taste the seafood. Anything fried (french fries, polenta, sweet potato hay) tasted like old, overused fast food oil. My sons grilled cheese was a hamburger bun grilled with a slice of cheddar- like at the end of the year when the lunch staff at school is trying to use up all of the ingredients before summer break. The air conditioning vent dripped on my husband all evening. Our booth was so small that I had to slide over another chair to get in my seat. Our server was lovely but she never asked how the food tasted. She probably didnt want to know. The scallops were cooked very well. My teen enjoyed his burger. The specialty drink was over-garnished but yummy. Still, we wont be back. Im perplexed as to why there was such a demand for this place.

We went her on our way back to the airport for lunch. And the only reason we went here is because its the name of our favorite bar in Houston, Texas. But I have to tell you, if Im in Pensacola again I will stop here! This place was amazing! Super friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating, and I absolutely loved the environment / ambience. And not to mention the food! Its obvious the bartenders know what theyre doing and the cocktails were great! And the food was absolutely divine. I highly recommend!

Wonderful experience. Started with our waitress, Vivian and her joy to be part of George Bistro. Her warm welcome and detailed descriptions of the food and drinks made us feel more than just another customer. Appetizers and meals were extraordinary. Grouper was perfect and short ribs delicious. Really was an experience and not just a meal.

This is an incredible restaurant! The food is mouth-wateringly delicious and beautifully plated, and the staff are lovely people. Our waiter, Chris, was happy to accommodate any of our questions, and help with our requests, and had a gentle, but perky attitude about it, with a ready smile, and light conversation. I would highly recommend this place as a comfortable experience, and I hope to come again, though I live out of state.

I thought that I had tasted great food but little did I know that the best was on the way. 04/16/2021 my wife and I decided to have a date night and went out to George Bistro for the first time. It’s a beautiful little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a warm welcome when you walk through the door. Jarrod(Jay) told us what was good and I am thankful I listened to him. The halibut is the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. My wife had the fettuccine with chicken and it was also spectacular. We can’t say enough good about this place. If you go(and you really should), please ask for Jay(and treat him well because he’s awesome) and listen to his recommendations! Although I find it hard to believe that anything they serve isn’t worth it. We can’t wait to go back and try everything in the menu! And if you’re like me, you are concerned with the portions but I had food on my plate after I was full and I still kept eating. 5 thumbs up, 15/10, 5 stars.

Been here many times both dining in and ordering out. Pretty much my favorite place to eat in all of Pensacola. The location is questionable and parking can be frustrating but the food and service is awesome.

Delicious. I came for lunch and got the fish sandwich. The portion of fish was huge and it was very flavorful. I definitely recommend.

Very nice place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was delicious . I ordered the Ribeye. The steak was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. It was huge! I took half home for the next day. The rest of the party ordered scallops, grouper, and a hamburger and all were more than pleased. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Pensacola, possibly my favorite. Have eaten there several times. Dropped a spot of sauce on my blouse once and got jealous of my own shirt. Would literally fight a wild dog over their food. Its that good.

Loved the smoked salmon with poached eggs. We ate outside since it was highly crowded inside. The place is beautiful inside out! Our server was 7/10 but this place overall is a 9/10. Definitely a must come place!

The food was really good. The manager at the host stand is an awful person. You dont roll your eyes and joke about my mom, an elderly woman with a walker, right in front of your customers and with your host staff. She has trouble standing for long periods, we made a reservation, and had to wait an extra 15 minutes to be seated. Sometimes a manager has to grab a bus tub and help get tables ready. Its probably the best food in the small town of Pensacola, but I dont think its worth the attitude and rudeness.

Service is great every time I have been. Food is delicious and unique to the area. Great place for a date.

Went to brunch here while on vacation and loved it so much that we went back for dinner the same day! The staff was all SO friendly and attentive, they made the experience wonderful. The dishes are unique and fun—we recommend the bone marrow appetizer!

I ordered the lobster sandwich with the sea salt fries. It looked good but when I at the sandwich it didnt taste much like anything. It was like the lobster wasnt seasoned even though in the description it states an aioli mixed in. The food was lukewarm even the fries. Im not knowledgeable about the ways to make lobster but, I would have preferred the bread or the lobster mix to be warm, it seemed like it was suppose to be served hot, but wasnt. It tasted quite average with no real flavor for the lobster. Cheese board was good, but expensive.

Food and mixed drinks were great! Nice outdoor seating area where we sat at with our big dog. Staff was super nice to him, which we always appreciate. Wished this place was in our hometown as we were only passing through Pensacola.Seating inside looked very nice.

The meal was way too expensive and the food on the plate was tiny. A+ for presentation. Too bad it wasnt an art show.

The shrimp and grits were Phenomenal!! The mint tea was great also!!! One of my favorite places to grab some food in Pensacola!!!

I had dinner with a wonderful friend last night and had a great dining experience! I knew it was going to be great when Crystal came up to the table. She had an incredible smile and a welcoming personality. She asked about drinks, told us about the specials and seemed to anticipate our needs before we spoke.Let’s talk about food! The Crispy Artichokes were delicious! When done, I leaned across the table and said to Don, “I wish we had some bread to dip in that delicious sauce!” Crystal must be psychic. She said, “you must want some bread to finish up that sauce.” Whoaaaaaa! She was a miracle worker!Don enjoyed the Local Grouper, and I had the Grilled Lamb Chops. The lamb was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. The polenta cakes and green beans were perfect sides.We finished off the night with Tuxedo Cake and coffee. Everything about this restaurant/bistro was excellent. I will return as often as I am able.A big “Thank you” to your management and staff. Thank you, Crystal, for being a breath of fresh air and a joy to meet! Thank you for an incredible dinner!

Went with my parents who were visiting to George. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. They have an original and inventive menu. I had the short ribs and they were fork tender and delicious. Im not normally a mushroom guy but these were fantastic. My dad had the squid ink spaghetti and he enjoyed it as well. My mom and dad both lamented that they did not have a place that compared to George back in Huntsville, AL. Our server was very sweet and attentive and she did an amazing job because my dad had a lot of questions about the food (hes an aspiring chef)and she was able to answer them all. All in all I would recommend it for anyone and I will be back to enjoy the fine dining atmosphere and experience.

What an amazing experience for my daughter’s 11th Birthday. When we arrived with her 9 friends George was outside welcoming us and asking if we wanted a photo. Wow, this was just the start to a great meal and fantastic experience. Thank you!

Lord have mercy you gotta go to Georges Bistro in Pensacola Florida the service excellent the food yummy the vibe of the place great I started it off with spiced pear margarita we had mini crab cakes for appetizers I had kiche their famous fries with fruit salad my friend had peppermint latte ribeye steak my other friend had vegetables kale salad with blackened shrimp all of it delicious we shared I highly recommend 3 snaps in Z formation
